Gary is an excellent barber and provides a great atmosphere to his customers. I left Clintonville years ago but still make the drive to see him.He always gives a perfect haircut and makes everyone feel right at home.

Gary is one of the best barbers in Columbus and I have been getting my hair cut for over 4 years here. For a guy in his mid 30s - I have been thrilled with how he keeps up with modern hair cuts and how skilled he is! He gives such fine attention to detail on every cut, hand I feel like each cut gets better and better! Makes the barber chair experience second to none. I show up, show him a picture of a cut, and he nails it every time. If you go anywhere else, I recommend giving Gary a try. You won’t regret it!! 5+ stars!!

The owner/operator makes great conversation while expertly grooming my sons beard & hair--so much so that my son says in the future there is no longer any need to go to Lady Janes!

There’s nothing Clintonville about this barbershop. After two great haircuts, my third was very bad. We had disagreements but I didn’t think he would take it out on my head. This has to be the least “Clintonville” barbershop in the neighborhood.

Great place for an local haircut!

I was looking for something very specific and trendy. I started to do it myself, because I had gone to other barbers in the past and they couldn’t grasp the concept I was going for. My hair looked insane when I walked in there, I didn’t even know if it was salvageable. This guy fixed it perfectly and gave me exactly what I wanted.

Great barber! Its only him in the shop and he doesnt take appointments, walk in only. You might have to wait once in a while but it will be worth it.

I have been coming to Clintonville Barber Shop since Gary started there. i drive from the east end. No question that he is the best barber in town. I enjoy how he has created a relaxing , enjoyable atmosphere . Gary takes good care of his customers and they soon become friends. I have known him to visit elderly customers who are to ill to get a hair cut and take care of them. He is a class guy who will always get my business. he has become more than just the neighborhood barber, he is a friend. If you are looking for a great barber, look no further.

Gary is one of the most thoughtful, kind, and talented barbers, Ive had the pleasure of meeting. I think hes the last true barber in Columbus that will give you a haircut for 15$.He treats everyone who walks in the door like a friend and thats why he has tons of regulars.

Great cut, good price. Ive been going to Gary for 7 years. I lived in the neighborhood for 3 years, so it was easy to get there. The last 4 years Ive lived about 15 minutes away, but when I get a cut I make sure I go to him.

Living in Clintonville, there are quite a few barber shops to choose from. Ive tried Santarellis and Longview, but I either didnt feel like I fit in or the cut just wasnt very good, respectively. I decided to give CBS a try and Im so glad I did. I was lucky and didnt need to wait and, although I had never been there before, I was warmly welcomed. Gary was personable, funny and knew exactly what he was doing. This is the only place Ill be going from now on.
