Good banquet hall. Small and quaint for 60 people. Social distancing was not a problem. The only issue is most of the parking is in the back and there is no back entrance to the room upstairs. No stairs to walk up the sides. I also like the big field in the back for outdoor usage or events.

This space is so multi-functional. We had room for food, dancing, games and the bar area is so grand. I would strongly recommend to all my friends and family. I cannot wait to host my next event. Smooth on-line booking process and excellent staff to boot!

It was my first time going to this place. I never knew it even existed, Phenix Banquet Center is really nice. The place is very clean. Love the high ceilings and lighting. They do have a huge parking space. The owner is really nice. This place is really amazing, and we’re definitely renting it again.

Had the most wonderful valentines day here!!! Tonight featured an amazing jazz singer, a full service bar with a unique specialty cocktail, and the BEST cobbler I have ever tasted (a recipe directly from one of the owners.) The tables were spaced to allow proper social distancing and everyone wore a mask. Phenix is 100% family owned and operated and both owners and their son are so welcoming. We will definitely be back for more events!

What an amazing gorgeous place, love, love, love the owners. Such an amazing experience, they were professional but friendly and so helpful, I planned the party in four days and couldnt have do it without their support and help. I cant waite for our next party to be back.

This place is great. The ambience is perfect for romantic gatherings and Im sure it can fit any event but I took my wife there for a Valentines dinner and live music event and she was highly impressed. The owner (I think she said her name was Yemi) is such a sweetheart. She came to greet us on several occasions to ensure our evening was consistently meeting our expectations and it was for sure. The waiter (who I believe was her son) was so professional and accommodating and well mannered. The drinks were on point as well. It appeared to have several rooms that cater to different events but I could only see them from the main entrance so I cant speak in detail but what I did see they were spacious and beautiful. If you are planning a party or reception of some sort I highly recommend you check this place out. Thanks for a great time. We will definitely follow you guys and be back Im sure!

This is a wonderful venue to host any kind of event. The space is beautifully decorated. Our guests really enjoyed the buffet food and desserts provided by Phenix. Yemi and her staff were so nice and accommodating for our event. They really worked with us to ensure our event was exactly what we were looking for! I was impressed by the great drinks and the atmosphere provided by the amazing family here and I planned on rating this 5 stars.Then I tried the cobbler. The cobbler changed my life.You think Im joking but I legitimately thought about that cobbler when I woke up in the middle of the night. I would rate this higher if I could.

Ok vendors not much on food vendors. You have to pay to enter. Grass was freshly cut and hay spread out so made for difficult walking

I rented the Atlas Hall For my daughter’s Sweet 16 birthday party. It was so nice, clean, and spacious. Even with the tables chairs and guests, there was still room for a dance floor and the DJ had his own stage set up. Prices were very reasonable , and management was a delight and very helpful to work with. Actually , we still stay in touch.

I rented the Atlas Hall for a celebration of life. The room is divided into 2 sections which was great as we were able to keep the food separate from the action. The bar area was high enough to keep the childrens hands out of the food. Spacious enough for social distancing. Hand sanitizer was provided. The price is very reasonable also. I hope the next time I rent a room here it is for a more joyous occasion.

I recently helped Toks and Yemi build an outdoor 34 x 34 Ft. wood platform in the middle of the five acres. It’s was not a big deal until I watched the deer playing at the wood line and later enjoyed the fall sunset. There is something magical happening at the Phenix. I’m looking forward to next spring when we listen to some jazz , drink a glass of wine and still be safe in our COVID -19 world.

We stumbled upon Phenix Banquet Center after a disappointing visit at another venue and driving home. We researched Phenix online and decided to visit a wedding showcase. At the showcase, the venue met our expectations (character, privacy, and affordable). We wanted a Far East-Columbus venue and Yemi and her husband were extremely kind, personable, and welcoming. They made us feel like part of their family. Yemi always responded promptly to any of our questions or concerns.This journey of trying to have a wedding during a National Pandemic was hard. We are so grateful to have the Phenix Banquet Center work through all the changes and compromise to make our special day still happen. The decor and set up was beautiful, the food was delicious, and great customer service. Prepared food safely in accordance with social distancing guidelines (6 feet apart, in open air on the grounds, though inside the banquet center also has enough room for this) and with kindness. Our group enjoyed a flavorful barbecue including ribs, grilled corn, plantains, chicken, and a sausage with African spices. Very versatile and kind to work with!

I have visited Phenix Banquet center on numerous occasions. I really enjoy the jazz nights and mystery dinners! It is a great place to enjoy an evening with wonderful food and new creative drinks to try. A fun place to host an event.

We had to change wedding venues due to a last minute cancellation. I have to say Remi saved us and at a very fair price with the discount for first responders. It was very nice not having to worry about being outside under a tent and we are thankful for air conditioning provided by the hall.The place could use some upgrades. The outside had one good area for pics. We cropped out the floor and ceiling from the pics as well. We used a small space in order to not have to cover certain areas. It still was a tad overpriced for the condition.

The owner was very hands on and present . She even came and greeted my party and I . We were required to book on short notice so we didn’t get to see the facility but it didn’t disappoint! Was nice and met my guest and I expectation !

My girlfriend and I attended an intimate concert here in the Apollo Hall and had a very good time! The artist played a variety of music and requests. The owners were nice and the drinks were delicious!

My experience at the Phenix Banquet Center thus far has been amazing! I am having my launch event in the next two weeks in the Apollo Lounge and am so looking forward to it. Yemi is incredible. She has made my planning process a breeze. Extremely accommodating, open to all ideas, very helpful and just overall dedicated to making sure you have the best event. I recently had my food tasting and wow, the food is also amazing. Very flavorful, cooked to perfection and you can definitely tell the food is made with love. There are many different options to choose from and enough to suit everyone needs. Seasoned well, portions are good and very affordable if you want to include food in your event. I will absolutely be holding future events at this location and I highly recommend this place for weddings, parties, etc.

I was in search of a nice venue for my wedding reception. At the very last minute my previous venue canceled on us due to Covid-19 regulations I was in a complete panic, two day’s before my wedding day I contacted the phenix they helped make my special day nothing short of amazing! Had a great time last month at a traditional wedding. The event took place outside and was a wonderful spot for the event. The inside was clean where we waited sometime and also had use of a restroom. Everything one can look for in an event venue. I would definitely recommend this place for future use for my friends and family. And the owner very warm and inviting.

Rented the lower level space and outdoor space for a large wedding. Phenix was very accommodating throughout the process from allowing us to drop off tent and outdoor furniture a couple days prior to the event to having speedy response to needs on the day of. Yemi took really good care of us and helped made our wedding an amazing one. Would highly recommend!!!

The grounds was gorgeous. The food was simply amazing and the owner was exuding so much friendliness, I felt I was among friends. This is a hidden gem!! St. Andrew’s Episcopal church had a vestry retreat there today. Everything was perfect! A quiet room with a view of the outside provided a natural lighted experience. The owners provided a lunch for us that can only be described as second to none! They are friendly and helpful and will give you the same service. They have another larger room that will seat 300! Perfect for sports banquets and large weddings! Give them a call!

I have attended a wedding at the Phenix banquet in the Athena Ballroom, such a beautiful room and a beautiful service. There is also an Apollo room for many events..The Food is Excellent and made hot to warm the soul! Ms. Yemi and her team are so kind and welcoming. I am now glad to be apart that team, and get treated like family! I recommend this Banquet to anyone searching for a beautiful venue or to attend one of their Amazing events.

I went to a Murder Mystery and the Phenix the other night. I was alone, but soon met every one at my table and we read the initial clues about the “murder” that was about to take place. We then had dinner and I had the chicken with pasta, and it was good. The dessert was excellent. I prefer pie over cake , but this cake melted in my mouth. The rest of the night was fun, and although we didn’t solve the murder our table got one award: best actress. Yemi makes sure everyone is having a good time and she personally fixed a small problem with a dinner selection at our table. The bartender is a great guy too. Try this sometime, you will love it.

This facility was best in location, best in parking, the best in occupying the mass crowd that we recently had during our All Class High School Cabaret. We are already discussing plans for an even bigger two day event at the Phenix Banquet Center in 2020.

We had an amazing wedding experience at Phenix Banquet center! Yemi and the rest of the team are wonderful and made us feel like family. The venue is lovely, the food was delicious and the DJ was such fun. The pricing for wedding packages is amazing -we were able to get have our ceremony and reception, which included dinner, DJ and bar service for less than the cost of just renting a reception space elsewhere without sacrificing quality and top notch service.

This is a wonderful event venue in Columbus. They can accommodate any size group for weddings, graduations, family reunions, and other group events. Yemi has been great to work with. Shes very responsive and helpful when it comes to planning the perfect event. Check them out!

I had a Wonderful time at Phenix Center, it was large enough to hold all my High school Classmates, we had room to dance, take pictures, talk to a group of people, I REALLY Enjoyed myself there.

I had my wedding with Phoenix in October 2018, and it was okay at best. The best thing about this venue IS the venue. The inside is amazing. The DJ was awesome...but it went downhill from there. The food was horrible and my guests complained. The seasoning was bland, the chicken was dry, and she gave me the buffet option when I specifically asked for plated. When asked, she said I never told her to have the food served but to do a buffet style. This was a deliberate lie.She also charges $150 for king lion chairs and promised they were the tall throne chairs I wanted but when we actually set in them, they were not the tall ones...and yet costed the same. Yemi is all about money and will try to keep you from using outside vendors so she can keep all of your money for horrible service. I do not recommend this venue to anyone.

Yemi and her staff were great and so helpful during our wedding! The prices for what you get are unbeatable and they are such great people. I really cant say enough good things about this business. I will say this, on the day of our wedding they didnt happen to have Grey Goose, which is what I wanted to drink. Yemi went out of her way to make sure it was available on the day of.

AMAZING.....simply just AMAZING is the first word that pops in my mind. The Phenix Banquet Center was phenomenal. The space rented for my daughters graduation party was HUGE. Not to mention the grounds and facilities were in immaculate conditions. Mrs. Yemi was very accommodating, and just a sweet lady overall! The venue was perfect we had a side for the DJ, photo booth and dancing! And another Huge side for for our guest to eat and mingle, we had a large size bar that was perfect for our buffet stations and still plenty of room for gift and treat table! It’s also great for the children with outdoor playground, basketball and horse shoes! I will be booking this venue for all future events and would recommend to anyone local or traveling! My sister had her wedding and reception at Phenix, not only was the banquet center stunning, but the entire staff was amazing! They felt like family by the time we had the reception! Everything went incredibly smooth thanks to Yemi keeping us on task from beginning to end! It took all the stress out of that day and left us only with fantastic memories! Thank you Yemi!!!
