Right off the bat they were super nice and very knowledgeable about diagnosing what was wrong with my truck. Have known the owner for long enough that our car was the first one on the rack in their shop after encouraging them to open their own shop. I cannot say enough good things about this shop but I will say that they are ALWAYS honest and fair which in my opinion is worth more than anything else. I know that when I take my cars to them they will be fixed quickly and correctly the first time. They always stand behind their work and will make it right if something unexpected does go wrong.

Just wanted to make the 130th 5 start review because they deserve it. I had a 1994 Chevy G20 towed to the shop and they had it back in my hands within four days. Jo, reception, is kind, clear, and concise on the phone, always kept me up to date, and a true pleasure to talk to. Jason did the job on my van and I trust his work. I will be telling my friends about this place. I was referred by a 1990ish Vandura who gave me a raving word of mouth review, which is how this shop has built their rapport and continued growth.The problem with the van: bad fuel pump, the Delphi (DFP FE0115) I installed in April was bad. I hired a few mobile mechanics to check out my van and did some fuel delivery work but none had the background knowledge that Delphi was putting out bad fuel pumps. The shop has had three defective new installation Delphi pumps come in in the last six months so I avoided that brand pump for installation. Van now runs and starts great (will not be adding that to the sales ad since I ain’t selling this babe lol).

Had a heating issue where my car would not heat during idle. Dealer services told me I needed to replace the entire radiator at a very steep cost. Not only was this not correct but apparently the oil change I had paid for at the dealership was never done when I told them I didnt want to replace radiator with them. For a fraction of the cost I got an oil change, repaired the heat and radiator issue by replacing 2 leaky caps and identified a few other issues with my vehicle for future consideration. Highly recommend.

I brought my LS3 swapped Porsche 944 in they fixed a head gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, replaced spark plugs, and replaced a lifter in just over a week. Excellent work for a fair price in a friendly environment - you cant ask for more than that in an auto repair shop! After taking my car to a national chain shop for an oil change and being handed an estimate for nearly $1,000 of repairs that my car needed, I took it to JAM Fix for a second opinion. Their technicians showed me exactly what actually needed work as well as why half the items on the chain shops estimate were unnecessary or outright lies. JAM Fix performed the necessary work for less than 1/3 of the original shops estimated cost. Several months later, and my car is still driving better than it has in years! Im so grateful to JAM Fix for their transparency and honest work. Ill be a customer for as long as I live in Columbus!

I called about an issue with my car and even though they were booked until the next week, they had me bring my car by that same day just to ensure that it was safe to drive. In fact, they have even told me that work I thought needed done was unnecessary! They were more than willing (and capable) to do it, but they know cars and care enough about their customers to help them save money every time they can. They are usually the best deal anyways, but more importantly, they are honest, stand behind their work, and get the work done as fast as they can. They are also flexible, too, coming in late or arranging scheduling to get me in for an emergency. They have even helped me save money by telling me where to get a part and how to install it myself. Just good, honest, caring car maintenance at a very reasonable price. Off the beaten path, but well worth the effort.Just had the 90,000 maintenance done on my Subaru. Once again, the JAM Fix crew did an excellent job. On time, on budget, and super friendly atmosphere. When I dropped my car off, I forgot to mention that one of my AC vents in the dashboard had dropped back into the dash. How that happened is still a mystery. But, a few days after I picked my car up, I noticed that the vent was back in place and working just fine. Evidently Nathan or Jason noticed the problem and just went ahead and made it right. Thats what I call SERVICE. Well done, guys!

I have an old 2002 Sequoia that Ive taken very good care of but after time things just start to fail. I found Jam based on reviews and asked them to give my truck a once over so I could decide whether to get rid of it or not. I knew I had suspension problems and was quite sure there were other things needed (244,000 miles). Jason took the time to sit down with me and gave me a complete analysis of the truck. No pressure as he did tell me there are a lot of miles and there was some work that had to be done (some immediate, other when time permitted). He did tell me my engine was sound and I had a decision to make. He offered a schedule on the repairs at very reasonable prices and the more I spoke with him the more comfortable I got. We joked that my truck would become his truck if I keep it and before I knew it I had an appointment set for the suspension. Service was excellent and it rides like it did the day I drove it off the lot in 2002. I have another appointment set for next month and am confident that the results will mirror my first visit. Im feeling another 100,000 out of this old beauty and Jam is going to help me get there - for a lot less then the monthly car payment I would have been looking at.

In short, Jason and his team fixed our air conditioning unit, spared us from spending over $1,500 on new parts and explained the process as thoroughly as one could ask. We thought the compressor and condenser on our 2010 CRV were kaput based on the inspection from a dealership in New York. Turns out, it was a $12 relay that was overheating. The A/C is now blowing cold and ready for summer travel. Highly recommend this crew for future repairs.

I don’t know where to begin. I wish I found this place earlier. I brought my BMW here because someone else told me I needed a new crankshaft pulley and wanted to charge an arm and a leg. The staff checked out everything and determined the pulley was perfectly fine and furthermore looked at other components to find that the belt just needed a solution put on it. The car went in squeaking and came out whisper quiet. The staff clearly understands BMWs and explained to me the symptoms if i actually did need a new crankshaft pulley. Even if I did need a crankshaft pulley, JAM Fix Auto Repair gave me a very fair estimate compared to others. The honesty and straightforwardness of the staff is unmatched. They make you feel like you are part of their family and that they care about you, your car, and saving you money by only doing necessary work. I am thoroughly impressed with this auto shop. Jason and his wife are fun and friendly on the phone and I was immediately impressed that they answered my intake call so close to closing hours on a Friday. I described my issue and what I thought to be wheel bearing issues, and Jason quoted me less than what I had already researched through 3 dealerships (stealerships as he called them). I took my car in and he was incredibly communicative throughout the day as they inspected my vehicle and told me that it was not wheel bearings but instead a couple other small issues that amounted to far less then new bearings would have been. In addition to that, after quoting me what my husband and I still thought to be a fair price for all of the aforementioned fixes, he called and left a message that he had mistakenly overquoted me for dual-parts when I only needed one and corrected the total (by $150+!!!). Both my husband and I were shocked, and of course pleased, with this level of honesty, integrity, and transparency. Such a refreshing experience and a far cry from my dealership experiences of past. I cant imagine going to another mechanic after this interaction. Even meeting Jason and his wife personally was a true pleasure, and he kept me laughing throughout the payment process. Ill close with my final impression of Jason and JAM, that he shared with me during checkout. In addition to the diagnoses he provided and fixes over the course of our phone call exchanges throughout the day, he indicated that something was overlooked between our final call and my pickup. He said he just didnt feel right charging me for it without my verbal consent and went ahead and fixed it personally without payment. He modestly underplayed how long it took him and the cost of the part, but I know it still cost his time and labor and I pushed to pay for the additional fix. He wouldnt stand for it and sent me on my way, asking only that I pay it forward by bringing back my business. I have no doubt that my family cars will only frequent Jasons garage moving forward and I know my mother-in-law likely feels the same, as she just recently had a wonderful transaction with the JAM team as well. I was introduced to this place by my coworker Michael Schafer. He recommended that I come here and get my car checked out because I was still having a few issues after I had repairs done at another shop. I called and spoke with Jason. He had me come see him that day to meet me and see what was going on. They were very busy and he took time out to speak with me. After doing a diagnostic on my car he recommended that I return to the shop I intinally went and have them fix my car properly instead suggesting he do the work and having me pay AGAIN. I really appreciate his honesty and I would not hesitate to take my car to them in the future. Good people are rare these days.

I had a truck that was shaking, I had taken it to a national chain store and they replaced the shocks and struts, which still didnt fix the problem. The national chain took the truck to a dealership, and they also couldnt diagnose the issue. I then called Jason and JAM because Id heard good things -- over the phone Jason was able to suggest that tire rebalacing could potentially fix the issue. I ended up having the national chain do the rebalance but thus far that seems to have fixed the problem. Will definitely reach out to JAM in the future with any new issues that arise and highly recommend them!

Went there to get my brakes done. The owner checked a minor problem with the engine & found a bigger problem, which he explained to me in detail. He repaired it in 1 day & I was on my way. Excellent service by JAM !!

Jason and the other gent working there (didnt get his name) were extremely helpful. We were doing the job ourself and went in to ask some questions and get advice. Without hesitation, even though we interrupted lunch, our questions were answered. When we ran into another issue, we took our part into the shop and they, once again, stopped what they were doing and resolved our issue, while explaining the process, so that we could understand how to do it next time... I cannot say enough how genuinely nice and generous these guys were. Customer. For. Life!!!

Jason and the guys gave been great. My wife and I have always gone to the dealership for maintenance until they began to try to charge us for things we were suspicious that we didnt need. My car was making a little extra noise, and the dealer tried to tell me the AC was going out and that it would cost $2600 to replace it. Jason looked at it and said no, its that your tires are out of balance, and charged WAY less, and the noise is gone!We will be bringing every maintenance issue we have with all of our cars there in the future!

Went to a local chain place for an oil change. Came away with a listing of $1100 worth of fixes for my three year old car. It didnt sit well with me so I called JAM fix and spoke with Jo on the phone who said she would be very surprised if my infant of a car needed the particular fixes, but they would check it out. I brought the car in and Jason checked it out and called me that day to say that it not only did not need those things, but one of the fixes could potentially harm the tires. I left there with a total of $360...a far cry from the $1100 I was quoted from the other place. I will never go anywhere else!
