Just to clarify a little - most of these negative reviews were written under different management than we have now. Ive lived here for four years and have no complaints. No, its not perfect, but my unit is in good shape, my calls to maintenance are answered in a timely and polite manner, and the office staff is nice to nice people and civil to rude ones. I have no particular desire to move - I feel safe here and content.

Great place to live! Staff is amazing and super professional and nice!! Barbara in the main office does an amazing job running things.

Terrible Terrible rude manager. Refuse to fix heat in the middle of winter. Will talk crazy to you and call the police if you so much as raise your voice back. Take your money and treat you terrible

If there was a award for worst management in Ohio for a apartment complex this place would win year after year. Avoid at all costs. The management is dangerous to anyone who wants to live in peace.

Do NOT waiste your money here!!!! we are newly weds and this wouldve been our first place They took deposit from my husband without showing him the property .They never answer there phones there office is barely open .They took another week to show us the place and We saw few roaches in the property The lady manager acted as if she didnt know but she did .Do mind you the manager is always different or sometimes theres just no one their there schedule is new every time or its like they open when they want to .we were desperate so we called and called and called nobody picked up so we drove up there and there was lady there surprisingly cus again there their like once a week .We spoke on signing the lease we got scheduled to come on Monday and they Werent even Open we called corporate they told us to come on wednesday Still not open .we havnt gotten our money back or nothing or even moved forward with this and we dont plan on it either Thornapple we want our money back you guys are just very unprofessional and just need to be shut down COMPLETEly

Small things can be improved

Where do I begin with how unprofessional this apartment complex is. Vickie and Darrel Nelson are the on property management employed by a CSS management company out of Reynoldsburg. Many of the units have roaches. Getting repairs for my unit has been a hastle. There are other tenants who are having the same issues.When I first moved in they moved me into a roach infested unit. Eventually I agreed to be moved into another unit on property, the new unit had an even worse roach infestation, so much so that I couldnt live there my first 11 days and the roach problem has been a continuous issue for more than two months now. They hired a low budget exterminator to treat my apartment and so far they have come out to the property 5 or 6 times. There is still a roach problem. I had to open a civil complaint and place rent into escrow.Darrel has a long criminal history which includes multiple DUIs, Abduction, Domestic Violence, and Child Endangering out of Licking County Ohio.This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I would never recommend anyone to move into this place, ever!

Went here to look at a apartment with my boyfriend. The guy working the grounds i think his name was dan, acted very cocky. My bf asked him about his jacket cause it had a pow sign on it and he bragged about it even tho he wasnt a vet. My boyfriend was talking about the meds he had to take after he was in a motorcycle accident because dan said he had a bike and the guy actually asked my man if he wanted to buy some Vicodin for $3 a piece that his wife gets.

I love my residents here at Thornapple Apts they are friendly and nice.

My mom maria gardner Loves the mangement they r friendly n kind and everything is clean n well kept .

The property manager Daryl likes to try and intimidate, and is very unprofessional.

The maintenance guy looks and acts like he is in a biker gang. I asked him about his leather jacket that had a POW insignia on it and he said he wasnt in the military. He asked me if I did pills cause he had some for sale. Weird experience.
