I had my second visit with Smile Columbia Dentistry on today and it was Great! I had an initial consultation two weeks ago with Lisa and Dr. Hahn. We developed a dental plan and scheduled appointment. They were very welcoming and I felt totally at ease with getting my needed dental care/treatment. Today was my first dental procedure and I was so nervous, but Lori was incredibly kind/reassuring that everything would go well. My procedure was calming, relaxing and PAINLESS!!! Top notch service! Dr. Hahn and his staff are always very welcoming and nonjudgmental when I have let my regular cleanings lapse, which I have a tendency to do. He also managed to get a new crown on an implant that I had put in 12 years prior but had neglected to get a crown. It was a very challenging situation because the implant was extremely dated and had moved from where it should have been. Dr. Hahn is a very skilled and compassionate dentist and I 100% recommend.

I recently moved to Irmo and needed a new dentist so after reading many reviews I chose to see Dr. Hahn for my 12 yr old son and I both. I have never been to any office where EVERYONE was so friendly! I was quite impressed with the openness, cleanliness and relaxed atmosphere. Lori was my hygienist and was absolutely fabulous and so sweet! Dr. Hahn was super nice and courteous. I could hear my son in the next area over (I apologize I didnt catch who his hygienist was but could hear she was very careful and patient talking with him making him feel as comfortable as she could) and never heard not 1 complaint from him. :) The ladies were so kind at checkout too. After we left he said he liked her and Dr. Hahn both. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring dentist and staff.

I am very thankful that a family member recommended this practice! As someone who typically dreads dental visits, I was very anxious to experience my first root canal. But when it became an urgent need, I decided to take a chance on this. The doctor and nurses are absolutely fantastic, and I was shocked to experience much less pain for a root canal here compared to a simpler filling procedure in another practice years ago (even on the same tooth). This is probably the first time in my adult life that I am looking forward to fixing other areas of my mouth that I’ve been too hesitant to fix out of fear. I’d recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist in the midlands SC area.

I had no wait time. The staff is very friendly and professional. I am usually terrified of the dentist and my hygienist put my mind at ease right away and checked with me throughout my cleaning to make sure I was doing alright. Dr. Hahn was more hands-on than I have ever had with a dentist, I really felt like he cared about my teeth and my continued treatment.

I had get lots of fill ins done which required 4 visits total. The staff was really friendly and made me feel as comfortable as possible even though my procedure was quite tedious and somewhat painful, but that’s normal. Ms. Eunhee, the dental technician I believe so, provided me with a blanket, headphones, and answered all my questions every time I came in. I had a few billing issues with my insurance but the receptionists at the front desk was very helpful and solved everything in a professionalized and timely manner. I definitely recommend coming here for all your dental needs!

I was very happy with how much effort everyone put into making me comfortable for my visits. I had a broken tooth extracted and then a bridge put in place. Everyone was understanding of my fears and made sure that I was relaxed and good. The bridge matches the color of my other teeth and has made chewing so much easier.

I went in today for my routine cleaning, my hygienist is always pleasant and professional. I voiced a concern about a situation that happened last month or so when husband took our daughter in for some dental work. The assistant that day was a lady with a very strong accent with a terrible attitude. Not only was she rude to my daughter who just had cavities filled but her unprofessional comment to my husband about having chipped and crooked teeth and he should have them fixed was final. My husband chose not to say anything that day due to me being at home with a broken back. But we said next time we go in we would address it. So that brings us to today. Adam came in to examine me and asked how everything was going just some small talk and I proceeded to tell him about our little situation last month and his response was so SHOCKING!!! Adam said theres 2 sides to every story and maybe we need to go find another dentist!! Then he got up and left the room without even looking at my teeth!! WHAT??!! Wow!! Are we in grade school? This left me stunned with no words! The absence of professionalism, customer service and just plain kindness leaves me more than Happy to find an establishment that will treat me and my family with respect and appreciate our business. There are way too many others out there that provide those simple little things. So I left SMILE COLUMBIA without a smile and you probably will to Columbia!

If you or your kid needs braces... GO HERE. Dr Hahn fixed my teeth and gave me RELIEF after standard braces long ago caused me pain - pain that took years for me to find out was coming from my jaw and descending through my body. The seat of your jaw affects neck and back and even hips. Dont let anyone pull teeth to reduce crowding for braces. They know now thats harmful. Never let anyone remove teeth for braces; dentists should expand out the arch as they do at Smile Columbia. True professionals and good people all around. Hahn is an orthodontist and dentist. 👍🏻
