I dont normally write reviews and it actually hurts me to write this one b/c I have been a faithful biweekly customer for a while. However, I really dont appreciate the lack of service and understanding that I just received. I also wont be returning as a result. Two days ago, my friend and I went to our nail shop as we have done as apart of our Self Care Saturdays day for the past year. A gentleman did my nails and they werent exactly what I expected but I was willing to grin and bear it b/c I realize that is a chance you take using different techs at this location. However, the next day I noticed the polish was rubbing off, my previous nail color was still showing and the glue he used to add the rhinestones was smeared on top of my nails as well. Considering I paid $60, I decided to return, make them aware of the problem, and allow them to correct it. I arrived at 5:54pm and was told that they would fix it.However at 6:20pm, I was told I would be charged full price to change my polish and no concessions were made. I am headed to another salon now and unfortunately I will no longer be patronizing Kathys nor will I continue to recommend their services. This was a really disappointing experience to say the least. I never expected this outcome. I cant believe the owners lack of acknowledgement, lack of respect for my loyalty, and the unwillingness to offer a fair resolution.

I’ve been getting my nails done at Kathy’s for at least 3 years or more. I never have issues. Chi, the nail tech I prefer is fast and efficient. She gets you in and out and if you are unsatisfied she will try to correct the issue. The prices are reasonable compared to what some other shops charge, and they have a pt system that gives you discounts if you’re a loyal customer. They will continue to get my business.

Always happy with the outcome of each service Ive gotten. The staff is knowledgeable and very willing to please the customer. Its disappointing about the amount of time you have to wait; maybe hiring additional nail techs will improve this. Happy returning since the renovation.

Its not expensive and theyre very helpful while I was getting my nails done today one of the nail techs helped me by rocking my baby to sleep while I was getting my nails finished

Ken is the absolute best. Ive been looking for a nail tech that I didnt have to keep reminding who I was or what I like but I have been to Ken 3 times and I dont have to tell him anything. I absolutely love him.

I haven’t been in Kathys in a VERY long time. I will say I was pleasantly surprised to see everything updated, clean, good atmosphere and service! Shout out to Fhoo (spelling?) who did an awesome job on my nails and is now my DESIGNATED nail person!

Team is very professional! Service given was awesome. The team took their time with me. No rush job. Did an excellent job with my nail fill-in and pedicure. Awesome awesome job and will be returning in the future. They have earn my business.

I like going to them, they do good work. Just dont buy gift certificates, didnt know they come with expiration dates. My husband bought one for me last year for my birthday, due to covid I wasnt able to use it. When businesses getting back to normalcy, I decided to see if they could honor my gift certificate due to pandemic. The lady told me no that was 8 months ago. Why does it have expiration dates on them in the first place, let alone at least could of honored it. It was just $25 left even though it was a $100 gift Certificate.

I like the place, first time I came but there were things that made me a little…. Hesitant on coming back. Like for one I came as soon as it opened but where I sat there was a cockroach near me. Another is maybe the price like I get that it goes up but I got acrylics and only a hand (only 1) worth of extensions but I’m not sure how it went up to be 40$ since it advertised on the site as $25. But overall it was a good experience! Would recommend

I love this place.. I only go to Kathys for my nails, pedis & eyebrow waxing.... Chi is so fast & her work is really detailed... I love all of them🥰

They’re okay, just be prepared to WAIT😐 I’ve been here a few times and each time I waited 45 minutes to an hour. And they don’t do appointments which sucks cause I’m always on a time limit. So I usually end up not being able to get my nails done.

Every time I get my nails done, I am pleased. I especially like Mr. Pho and Ken. Those are my top two techs to do my nails.

I got my eyelashes done here & the room was DISGUSTING. Then , she glued my eyes shut with the glue. I had black glue all in my eyes once i finally got them unstuck. I took them off immediately. I asked to see her license & it was invalid !! This place needs to be shut down

1st time trying nail dip. Had a 12p appt on a Wednesday n was back at work on Leesburg by 1234p. Chi did awesome and I will b going back.Love Ken he is the absolute best

I normally have a great experience here, but today wasnt a good one. The guy who did my full set was good. I just had short and long nails. Then instead of him polishing my nails they had some one else polish them but it was a NO GO. They polished my nails and had chunks of polish on my nails. I will never be rude to anyone so I just asked that they take the polish off and I asked for clear instead. Polish was under my nails and on my skin ....thats what I got out of my experience for today. I decided to just leave and go somewhere else to get them fixed and cleaned up. Theyre a 5 overall but today alone was a 3 stars.

When I went to Kathys nails it seemed to be a very nice place the workers are really nice and gentle...the only problem was the outcome....my nails came out way to thick and cricket...also after only 4 days of having them they are sliding up...Ive never had either of these problems at any other nail places...this is the first one I chose to go to out here since Ive moved to South Carolina recently...Id like them fixed to fix it

I have been using this salon for over 2 years and I love them! Chi Chi is my nail tech and she is always a delight! Ive moved to VA and whenever I come visit my family, I visit her as well! 😁

I got a gel full set and a pedi. My full set was thick crooked with polish everywhere. After 5 days my nails began to pop off as if they were press-ons. My pedicure look like my 10 year old cousins did it. That was my first and last time going there!

I personally love the customer service and the work at Kathys nails. I most definitely recommend this place to everyone whos looking for a professional atmosphere and quality work!

I paid $30 for absolute terrible work on my nails. I got a fill in and cut down. After she cut my nails done I told her I wanted coffin, but my nails are literally every different shape you can think of. They’re uneven. The paint job was terrible. I have polish all over my skin around my nails and she missed spots. She also made me bleed 3 times while drilling the old polish off. I will never return here again.

Nails looked good inside with dull light but once I went outside the store it looked bad. The first chair on the left when you come in please dont go there. Made me bleed and went in for a feel-in and it look bad. I will not be coming going back. Worst job I have ever had done to my nails. I wish I can get them removed and my money back.

Do not sit in the first chair on the left when you first walk in the door. Supposed to be the owner who has been doing nails for 17 years! Really, that doesnt make you good at all! Got Stiletto nails done on Saturday and they were horrible!!! The nails were pointing in all different directions, uneven, and some pointing up in the air like bear claws! The owner had a serious nasty attitude when asked to fix them or remove them and give me my $$$ back.They ignored us until we got loud and the cops were called! Ling Ling had the audacity to take my debit card and put it behind her back as if she wasnt going to give it back until she was ready! Absolutely, the wrong thing to do!Unbelieveable how they did a horrible job and expect us to still pay and not say anything. Nasty, sarcastic, rude, people who kept telling us to shut up!!! Learn some better customer service etiquette because I tried to have an intelligent conversation with these fools and it didnt work! Will never get another dime of my money ever again! You just lost a frequent customer for life!

Went in for a pedicure and was overcharged for gel nail polish when I chose the non gel package. They dont tell you gel is much more! Watch what youre charged here. I wont be a return customer at this spot. I shouldnt have come based on others negative reviews, very disappointing experience

I just went in to get an eyelash extension service. The lady that took me back did not explain that she didnt know how to do lash extensions. I found this out later. I laid very still for her to what she needed to do. Towards her finishing I felt her applying a heavy layer of glue on top of my lash line. I was not sure whether it was dry or not yet. The lady took and tried to slowly open my left eye and a good amount of glue spilled into my eye. It was burning so bad I hopped up and the lady kept trying to get me to lie back down. She then tried to fan the glue to dry it which should been done before my eye was opened. I told her no, I need these off beause my eye is irritated. She proceeded to take them off. Then I went over to the sink to rinse my eye. No other employee acted as if they cared that their employee just did that to me. She started speaking to the other employees in her native language about me. Then she asked me why do I keep coming when this happened before and I know your face mind you I havent been to this shop in two years since yesterday I just went to get my eyebrows waxed and asked about their short eyelash extensions to see if they would short enough to get them for work. I wanted them done today for an event this weekend. She claimed this has happened before. I have gotten my eyelashes done at this establishment plenty of times before and this has never happened. She refused to give me her name or the person who owned the stores name. She was very rude and yelling at me about this situation in front of other customers. She yelled at me to never come back after I told her I was never coming back. I also told her I was not paying for this service and I didnt. My eye is still irritated. DONT EVER GET ANY SERVICES AT THIS STORE!!!!! I WAS BEYOND MISTREATED!

I paid almost 100 dollars for my dipped nails only to have them chip and breakn3 days later, I go back in and have them removed and to get a basic white tip and they still charged me 35 for the full set 5 dollars more for the white tip and then another 5 for nail removal this place is a joke guy who did my nails took over 3 hours and cut me in 4 diffrent places. Will not be going back again. Stay away from this place its overpriced and you can get better service somewhere else

Steven is amazing as was two other men. Horrible service from owner and very over priced. Owner was asked twice to use English and she laughed. If you have the option DONT GO HERE. I gave one star cause I had too.

I would never ever come to this nail salon again. The owner is nasty and mean. She also consign for her employees to speak in a nasty Manor to the customer. Never ever again! The End.....Learn how to speak better English before you open of a business in America. I mean it was terrible experience.

Normally I have no problems when I come to this shop however this in particular time the nail tech at desk #5 nicked the skin on my thumb finger and had the audacity to blame me when little miss Ming had full control of my finger. Telling me its because I grabbed my phone ummm WRONG !!!! Worst Nail Tech in Columbia do not go to her pictures attatched.

If I could it zero stars I would. Been here a few times 2 give it the benefit of the doubt. One lady is extremely RUDE, rushes, and doesnt let me decide on my colors, and then my gel polish was lumpy and thick. Another time the male was super nice but 3 of my nails were noticably CROOKED, and popped off way too easily. This place is terrible only go there when I missed my appnt at my reg place or if Long Nails is crowded. This place is the worst. Never again would I go there even if they offered free services.

T is the nail tech that l go to and she is great! Gel -polish fill ins last about 3 weeks.

I have been coming to this place to get my eyebrows waxed for a year. The lady that used to do eyebrows there unfortunately left because she was great. The other lady burnt my skin with the wax and she also made my eyebrows uneven and when I asked her to fix them she said they were even. The same lady messed up my eyebrows up before but I gave her another chance never again. I would always tip at least $5 every time I came for an eyebrow waxing which is $10. I am infuriated with the lack of concern this lady had for the customers.

The service is very low grade ever since new management has taken over. I got the gel nail manicure set on Saturday it was peeling by Monday. I called today Wednesday because my work schedule is when they close and was told you have to come back the next day.... Poor service. Unprofessional and unorganized. Came here to get my nails done for prom and they did not do them how I asked I even showed them a picture of what exactly I wanted. They are over priced and the nail tech was very rude BAD FOR BUSINESS

The guy was so careless and rough on my nails when I got a manicure (literally had one finger bleeding). The lady was talking in the phone the entire time she was waxing my eyebrows, and tried to rush me out. She also didn’t groom/trim them properly.
