This has been our family dentist for many years now and we couldn’t be happier with the service from Justin and his great team. They are always courteous and accommodating to us in any way possible….and always with a big smile and appreciation for our loyalty. Justin is such a great dentist and somewhat of a “perfectionist”…but I truly believe that this is a good thing in this type of business. He won’t stop until he gets everything just right and just perfect with some of my dealings. We have never heard an unkind word spoken in that office, nor have a person greet or deal with us that has not been nothing but pleasant and have a smile on their face.If you are someone who is afraid of going to a dentist or just need a really great dentist…you need to try this office and deal with these folks because I can guarantee you they will take away your fear and make you feel comfortable. Wife received 2 crowns and needed to return for adjustments. She looked at this as rework and wasnt happy. We voiced our concerns with the office. The dentist called and spent a FULL half hour speaking on the root issue. Which actually IS a root issue. Now to schedule a root canal and get one step closer to the proverbial happy mouth. Very very impressed overall. WILL GO BACK

My hygienist Alexis Dempsey was that of an artist when it comes to cleaning teeth and making sure your smile is as perfect as can be. She was friendly and outgoing which made the experience radiating with positive energy. She was efficient and reliable along with Dr. Griffin himself. I had to have an emergency extraction, not only did they see me the same day, they were also able to pull it. I wasnt a previous patient, but they scheduled me to come in and helped. Dr. Griffin has been my dentist for the past 18 years. There are hundreds of dentists in Columbia, SC. What sets Dr. Griffin apart from the rest is that he is honest and will always shoot you straight. He is always very kind and friendly towards me. Just recently I came in with concerns about a specific tooth. He took the time to go over the X-ray with me and my mom, explaining what he thought could or could not be the issue. He was very helpful in answering my questions and listening to my concerns. The rest of the staff here is awesome as well! Renee at front desk is very accommodating and willing to work around your schedule. Megan, his assistant, has always been nice to me. The different hygienists that I’ve met over the years have always been amazing as well. Not to mention the office is beautiful! Dr. Griffin will always be the only dentist I ever go to! :)

I have extreme anxiety about coming to the dentist. I had the best experience ever!!! I was even laughing during my cleaning. The icing on the cake was the warm wash cloth infused with lavendar essential oils! Amazing!!!

The office is beautiful and very well kept. Each hygienist Ive seen is highly skilled and makes me feel right at home. Dr. Griffin is genuinely the best dentist Ive had. He addresses my specific concerns/goals, is honest about work that is necessary vs. watch and monitor, and discusses different options when appropriate and which of those may be most cost effective first (for example, retainers or safe whitening options). I live in West Columbia, and without hesitation drive all the way across town to come to Dr. Griffin and his amazing staff!Today was a first for me. I had a cavity filled with no anesthesia! I know... you’re thinking “she’s nuts!” But Megan mentioned the idea to me after asking if I had experienced any pain or sensitivity from the cavity, to which I responded no! She then said it was a very small cavity and that it could probably be filled without the shot and the annoyance of having the numbness that accompanies that.Dr. Griffin came into the exam room within a couple minutes and upon looking at the X-ray and actual tooth confirmed that he felt I would not need any anesthesia! So I put all my trust in my favorite dentist, and in less than 5 minutes, he had worked his magic and was done! My tooth was perfect once again! And with no pain or discomfort!See what I mean...I’ll drive all the way across town or even from another state to get that kind of personal and specialized care any day!!!

I have a lot of work to be done and weve just gotten done with two fillings and a crown. The method they use for numbing is incredibly effective even for someone who is typically resistant like myself.I honestly cant wait to come back and see what my smile will look like when were finally done.

Amazing Dentist! Dr. Griffin and his staff are the most professional and intricate dentist offices Ive ever experienced. Ive been to several dentists and specialists before moving to Columbia, SC as Ive had some extensive dental work done and Wildewood Dental has been the best by far. Specializing in aesthetics, Dr. Griffin is extra thorough in his work. He takes a ton of pictures throughout any procedure to make sure everything is perfect. They are always good to explain in detail every process that was being performed. Its also a plus that the office is a brand-new, clean, stand -alone building and not in a strip mall. . . Just feels better!

I was not a fan of going to the dentist, I had some horrible experiences and my anxiety with needles in my mouth was over the top. However Dr. Griffin is wonderful! I barely felt the shots. I’ve been going to him for a couples years, getting a lot of work done to restore my smile. The staff is wonderful, I know many by name and they made me feel welcomed and always listened to my concerns, no matter what. For me that’s been extremely important and priceless. I have never left a review for a business before but I know there’s other people out there with the same anxiety I had about going to the dentist and our health is directly affected by our teeth. He performed better than even he predicted . No pain, no pain pills needed,he doesnt rush, lets it all heal properly before moving on to next step.
