My daughter had an accident and I feared going to a run of the mill dentist who believed fluoride and mercury fillings were a good standard for oral care. I found this dentist, primarily based on their “holistic,” approach. I quickly found out upon entering their office, it was covered in mask and covid propaganda and they were forcing anyone who walked in to wear a mask. They denied us “holistic” dental care based on our choice to simply breathe fresh air. This office is picking and choosing which CDC guidelines they would like to follow. CDC ALSO SAYS USE FLUORIDE, ITS SAFE AND SO ARE MERCURY FILLINGS. Fluoride and mercury are neurotoxins, I also noticed the insane amount of toxic hand sanitizer placed all over. Have you read those ingredients, nothing holistic about them?! I’ve also read countless articles on pub med explaining a direct correlation between the micro biome in your gut and your oral hygiene. Masks and hand sanitizer are micro biome/gut disrupters causing or leading to increase in cavities. This dentist is a shill and there’s nothing holistic about him, submitting to tyranny and asking people to comply or leave is the prime example of subpar service. Found an interesting quote under the fluoride tab, please read below ... OH THE IRONY!“We know that saying “no” to something that is routinely prescribed can be stressful. Therefore, we’ve ensured that you don’t have to worry about saying “no” to us. From the moment you walk into our office, to the moment that you leave, we know you will feel well cared for and valued.”

Excellent experience here! Friendly, kind staff. I have gotten gentle and effective cleanings from 3 different people who were all very helpful, polite and courteous. Dr. Allison is very attentive, knowledgeable and effective at what he does. I had one cap on a molar replaced which turned out very nice, no bruising or lingering pain, he is very gentle which is a wonderful thing! The x-ray machine they use is better than others I have experienced because the insert that goes in your mouth is much smaller than the traditional ones, so it is less painful to bite on while the x-rays are being performed. Also, I absolutely love the massaging chairs they have. I used to dread going to the dentist, but now I look forward to it! 5 stars, I would highly recommend.

In 2013 I decided to have all of my 15 mercury contained amalgams removed. I was very nervous to have this done because I suffer from chemical sensitivities and I knew I needed to find the right dentist so proper procedures could be followed for the safe removal of the mercury. I had two small fillings successfully removed while living in Phoenix, Arizona. When we moved to Pennsylvania, I found Dr. Allisons name on the IAOMT member list and I was so surprised to find an accredited dentist who worked 10 minutes from my house! I had had a bio availability test done while in Phoenix so the dental composites used in the new fillings were compatible with my body and would not make me sicker.Dr. Allison was fast and efficient while doing the mercury extractions. He used a clean up suction tip to capture the mercury chunks and particle spatter when cutting up the old silver fillings. His staff is pleasant and very accommodating when making appointments. Overall I had a very positive experience and I am so happy that I got all the mercury out of my mouth. Dr. Allison did a terrific job!!! If you want a conscientious, qualified dentist then try Dr. Allison.July 2021 update. I have moved away from the area and I really really miss Dr Allison as my dentist. He is reasonable and fair and does a great job. If you need a dentist to take care of your teeth, make an appointment now. Don’t wait.

I had a few fillings done here in January-March of 2018, including one of a tooth that chipped/cracked off. The broken tooth filling was fine (or so I thought). The next was rushed. I should have said STOP right then and there. As soon as I was no longer numb, I was in terrible pain. I couldn’t eat on that side of my mouth at all. I called and asked for it to be fixed, they got me in, but when I arrived the dentist had no idea why I was there! He thought I just needed my bite fixed! He told me that fillings can be sensitive for awhile after, which is understandable, but I was in piercing, excruciating pain and I made that known! He put a “desensitizer” on my tooth and sent me on my way. After that experience, I refused to go back because I didn’t trust them to fix my tooth properly and I didn’t want the other fillings done by them that they said I needed. It took me until yesterday to return to a dentist, out of fear, despite the fact that I have been in pain this entire time.. first of all, no other fillings needed! So the other 2-3 fillings they said I needed were not necessary, even over a year later. Second, the filling they did on the broken tooth is right against my nerve. I am looking at a potential root canal or extraction for this. One of the other fillings they did has decay underneath it! They didn’t do it right. I am in terrible pain over a year later from the poor work this dentist did and am looking at possibly thousands of dollars in dental work to fix what they destroyed. DO NOT GO HERE. You can refuse fluoride and amalgam fillings at ANY dentist. LOOK ELSEWHERE.

I have had my fair share of dentists. And it seems like none of them ever really cared for my teeth and wellbeing or even did their job. Dr. Allison is NOT that dentist. Hes a quiet guy but cares about doing his job correctly. I wont change dentists unless I move far away or he retires.

I am so glad to have found this dental office! Staff is friendly and helpful, the office is clean and inviting, and Dr. Allison is personable, professional and obviously committed to holistic dentistry. Impressed that he filters the mercury out of the their waste water, even though it is not required by PA.

I normally dont write reviews, but when an office manager tells a perspective customer shame on them for not wanting to have yearly x-rays- one almost has to leave a review. It was hurtful and shocking to hear that as a perspective customer. They wouldnt even apologize when I called the office manger out on her shocking and rude remark. I really appreciate what they do at this business and the wholistic approach to dental care. However, it is a bit strange that a business that focuses their niche marketing on people like me who care about natural care would force us to have x-rays every 6 months to a year at a minimum. Many people into the natural health care world prefer choice (choice is a right every human should have) and the ability to stay away from added and un-needed radiation- even if its a digital x-ray machine with lower radiation exposure. Despite the lack of professionalism and unbelievable rudeness to a perspective customer, Im sure the dentist himself is excellent at dental care and I want him to know that I still greatly appreciate what he does and what he stands for in dental care in our community. I only can hope that the dentist will read this review, apologize for his staffs rudeness, and entertain the idea of after the initial first patient visit with x-rays (to see what is initially going on) that if the customer chooses to opt out of further x-rays, that the dentist and his team would honor that choice by letting us sign off on it (for legal reasons). Thank you for what you do Doctor in our community regarding natural oral health care!

I had my mercury fillings removed and later realized that I was in the very early stage of pregnancy with my last child. I was very worried about the harm we may have done to a new fetus, but the baby was stronger and healthier and happier that her three oldest siblings.

Changed my bite, which gave me TMJ Dysfunction, and ruined my life. Seriously, if I had known how much I would suffer from getting those filings replaced, I wouldnt have done it. I have constant headaches, swollen glands in my neck, neck pain, severe shoulder pain. I had to see so many doctors, and dentists before it was diagnosed as tmj dysfunction. If I could do it all over, Id take my chances with the mercury fillings, or SEE A DIFFERENT DENTIST!!!!
