Took our car in with a busted radiator at noon, got the call it was ready to go by 4:30pm. The quick turn around and pleasant experience with them was really great as this was stressful for us as a family being down a car. Definitely recommend them!

Always have had good service going here whether it be an oil change or repair. They are always friendly, fast, accommodating,a informative. Today I had my car towed in after a shrill noise started from one of my wheels. They quickly found a bolt had come loose and gotten stuck in the rotor. They checked all the other bolts and had me on my way, at no charge due to a simple fix!Reasonable, helpful shop. I would definitely recommend.

My family and I have gone here for years. We have not encountered any problems, for the jobs theyve done on our vehicles. Great services and fair prices. Not only am I thankful for the services theyve provided, but I appreciate their friendly customer service and professionalism. Regardless of the work (major or minor) that needs to be done on your vehicle, they go out their way to get the job done and make sure its done right. They will make you feel that you dont know what you are talking about your own vehicle. That you are wrong instead of them. Took longer to finished fixing my car and not ones called let me know that it was going to take longer. Once they so call finished with the repairs, the seat bells were not attached to the seat.

I brought my car to get checked out as it was running rough. They assessed the car and told me parts + labor would be about $1000. I didnt want to spend the money at the time and my friend said he could help with replacing the mounts and a sensor. We got the parts, he went to put them on, and the mounts werent the problem. Brought to my regular mechanic in Charleston and was told the problem was with wiring/cylinders- and they charged less than $500 for parts and labor.

Shop has been sold - it is now TireChoice. They still do repairs but also offer Maintenance and oil changes and other Service also. This would be the second location in Columbia besides Dutch Square. Still great service

I walk in and I get great fast service. Very explanatory to any vehicle issue I may have. Most employees Ive met over the years are smiling and do good work.

Overall, the mechanics are friendly and knowledge. Ive taken my car here quite a few times because its conveniently located near my apartment. It never takes them a long time to fix my car so I really like that.

Had trouble with my car battery, they were able to get me in short notice and fix the problem. Great experience.

Slow and overpriced. A lot of reviews talk about how friendly these folks are, and they are very nice, but that doesnt make up for the disrespect of taking all day to do a 15 minute repair job that takes 2 minutes to troubleshoot. They also seem to have a lot of mechanics just hanging around the counter in the lobby, not working, when you think any one of them could be working on any one of the 25 or so busted cars littering their parking lot. Friendly yes, but insultingly slow and overpriced.

It is no longer Waltons. Its now Treadmasters. I was quoted a price, on Friday Sept. 21st, of 320 for a power steering pump. This included labor costs. They ordered the part and I come in the following Monday and the price went up to 653. I will not be back

This company is full of scam artists i will never recommend this place to anyone. Not sure how they can quote me for 450 dollars i brought them the new parts and 2 extra parts(maybe an hour or 2 worth of work) take 5 days(for a 4 hour job) then tell me its going to be 945 dollars! Minus well take down the name and slap firestone on the building

I paid them 2 weeks ago to work on my new engine. They told me they have my new engine & there ready to put it in. Its been 2 weeks & they still have keep push it off. They said it will be either Friday or Monday. Then it was late Tuesday, early Wednesday. I called them Thursday morning they said their putting in the water pump. Then I called around 4, they said their waiting on a part so I asked if they had to order it, he couldnt even answer my question. He just said were working on it. Im very disappointed. I rather someone tell me they dont know when than have me thinking its gonna be the next day. Never going back

So here it is 5:00 pm. My husband and i have been here since 10am to have brakes changed. After being here 6 hrs the van is done. We get 2miles down the road and its doing the samething it was doing when we arrived here. My husband told the mechanic twice the brakes noise was coming from the back right side tire. Which they never took off. Now were back here to try and fix the problem after spending 7hours and almost 300.00 later in the 100° weather maybe itll be done correctly. As I sit here and type this my van is still up on the lift and no work is being done on it. Worst place ever!!

I have been here a couple times and they are always pleasant and explain the work that was done and/needs to be done.

Where do I even begin...... The first reason my car came was for a fuel filter. After this was done I noticed the mechanic missed attaching the filter inside the bracket which is then secured to the frame of the car. Also it was leaking fuel from the assembly. This was caught today on May 25th 2017. The top of The fuel filter was soaked in fuel. Basically I was a riding car bomb..... The shop had to send my car to an outside mechanic shop to figure out the issue because no one here could do it. After I left the shop after them having my car 8 months Im still coming here. Total of 2,400.00 has been sent and Im finding stuff as I look myself at times. I advise if you come here pray before you show up that they know what they doing. And always inspect there work behind them. If there was a negative star rating I would have selected it.... The best and only thing about WALTONS is the Mr. Reggie and Jay who work up front because they cool to talk to. Im only here because the parts are under warrantee...

People told me how poor their diagnostic skills were and how they use it like a secret money making weapon to just keep trapping people into coming back over and over meanwhile never really fixing the problem. I gave them a shot anyway.I took my car there because the belts were squeaking and the engine light was on. It took them all day just to diagnose the problem. I said ok may be they were just busy. I went up there to get something out my car before they closed and they had the wheels off! I said why are the wheels off? Oh we were just making sure the squeaking wasnt coming from the brakes. Oh ok may be they were just being thorough. Finally they call me back with an 850 dollar estimate.Me: Wow that is a lot of money. Are you sure this is going to fix It?Waltons: Yes sir.They do the work and I pick up my car the next day. It runs great for about three hours. Then the engine light comes back on.Me: Hey man the engine light came back on.Waltons: Bring it back let us have another look.They look at the car the next day.Waltons: Well it could be this it could be that blah blah blah.Me: So are you going to charge me again for this?Waltons: Well it depends on if its what we already fixed or not. If its something else we will have to charge you.Me: Wait a minute you told me this would fix the problem.Waltons: Well we did our best its not our fault. But lets not get ahead of ourselves bring it back and lets just see where we go with this. At least we got the oil leak fixed right?Me (to myself): No. No lets NOT do that.In all fairness it does look they fixed the oil leak that was causing the belts to squeak. My thing is if you go to a furniture store and pay for a living room set and the couch is missing when it gets delivered does the furniture store have the right to charge you again when they screwed up in the first place?Update: As of today 1/29/18 about a month after service the belts are squeaking again. Just do yourself a favor and go some where else.

My family was basically stranded on our way to the beach for our summer vacation the Friday before 4th of July in Columbia sc after my truck broke down. I went to all three Ford dealership in town since the truck is still under warranty, they where absolutely no help telling me that it would be 1-2 weeks before they could look at it. No one could at the Ford dealerships would do anything to help me out. I found waltons automotive on a google search. Called and spoke to Reggie he said to bring it over and they would do everything they could to get me back on the road. They even ran me down the street to grab some breakfast. They got down to work quickly and found the problem ordered the parts and got it fixed in what was more than a timely matter. I wish I could no stars. They told my husband something should cost $80 maybe a little bit more. We got no phone call to tell it would cost almost triple until we picked it up later that afternoon. They are unprofessional and will rip you off for sub par work. DO NOT GO HERE

This is one of the worst automotive workshops Ive ever been. Very poor customer service and they take 1 hour to complete a work which can be done in 15 mins.
