They were awesome! Finished the job 2 days ahead of scheduled! They worked with my insurance company and got everything handled for me. All I had to do was drop off the vehicle and pick it up. Could not ask for a better experience. Best Body Shop in Town!

After getting in an accident my car was taken here because it could be repaired “quickly and efficiently”. What was supposed to be a two week project ended up being almost two months, with the staff continuously telling us “by the end of next week” every week to the point we did not believe them until we would be told the car was ready.After the delayed service we went to pick up my car and noticed there was a slight shake to it that was not there before my car accident, so we turned around to have them look at it. They told up they only aligned the back tires where the car was hit and did not do the front tires, saying that must be a separate issue and “could not have occurred from the accident” though I was up to date on inspection. We took my car in elsewhere for a second opinion, who said the front wheel alignment was most likely impacted from the accident as well.Paint was left on my back headlight from repairs, as well as large gaps in the metal framework.Overall an incredibly disappointing experience, and would not recommend to anyone.

Machens body & paint came through for me after I was rear ended. They got me right in for an estimate, ordered what they needed, and less than a week later they had me all fixed up like it never happened. They communicated directly with insurance and my rental car company, and kept me posted along the way. At pickup they had my SUV detailed, including my floor mats! The work performed was great, but their professionalism and customer service were even greater! Thank you Machens.

They are so nice to deal with, do great work, and returned my vehicle quicker than I thought it would take them to finish everythingAnd actually, now that I think about it, Paul McCartney once said that The Beatles were the Joe Machens Body & Paint Center of the rock world. Our car had a lot of hail damage after the storm in May. We took it to Machens Body Shop and it literally looks like a brand new car. Not a single ding left on it - and there were hundreds. Mike kept us informed throughout the entire process and Doug was easy to work with. In addition to the fantastic job they did on the outside they detailed the inside as well. We were so pleased because we had only had the car for 4 months - looks like the day we drove it off the lot. Great people; great service! Thanks to all of you at the body shop!

Ive used the Machens shop for both body and mechanical work, and Ive always been impressed with the outcome. Everyone Ive encountered has been professional and helpful. The facilities are clean and well managed. My 2013 Ford Explorer was in a wreck, but the vehicle was repaired expertly and looks as good as new! I would highly recommend Machens!

Doug and the entire team at Machens Body & Paint were OUTSTANDING to work with. We had 3 vehicles get hammered by a recent hail storm. You can imagine the devastation. This is the best customer service I’ve ever seen, mike kept me updated about my car and every single person I came saw was extremely polite. My car was fixed in a timely fashion and when I picked it up it looked amazing and they had even detailed the inside. I would recommend their service to anyone needing there car fixed!

I had no issues the first time I had my car done there, but this last time was a disaster which will cause me to take my business elsewhere in the future. I had my car fixed and it only took a couple days, whenever I went and picked my car up and started driving I heard a whistle coming from the window, turns out the window wasn’t put back in right and my cover for my inner panel was cracked by the window so I contact them and set up to come in the next day. Justin looked at it and we set up for me to bring it in that next week. When mentioning the crack, I was told that the crack was already there WHICH IT WASNT, and they weren’t going to replace it, it first started with just needing my car for a half day and it turned into an all day thing, I got a call that my car was ready 20 mins before closing and was told that the trim wasn’t put back on because there was “no time” which made me feel as if I wasn’t a priority and my service was rushed, and from when my car was fixed, they left all the damaged pieces in my trunk and I asked Justin to have them dispose of it and he said “sure thing, we will take care of that for you”, pick my car up, open the trunk and everything was still in there, very displeased with how my situation was handled.

My husband, daughter and I were traveling from Nebraska to St. Louis. On the way there, a deer hit us on our passenger side. Later on when we stopped to walk around and take a break, I rolled the passenger side window down, not thinking, and it wouldn’t roll back up. We looked for the nearest body shop and found Joe Machens. My husband walked in and explained what was going on, and they said they would take a look at it right away. Before even taking it to the body man, the gentleman who was helping us tried doing a few things to try and fix it. He wasn’t successful so he had to have one of his guys look at it. Not only were we in and out within 40 minutes, but the lady at the front desk ran to our truck to get us our diapers and wipes, due to our daughter having a dirty diaper, and they didn’t even charge us!! Such an amazing experience here!! We would recommend anyone to go here! They have phenomenal customer service and we’re super understanding of our need to be in and out as soon as possible!

The body shop is great. Dont buy your vehicle from Machens group. Terrible sales teams and lost promises. Youll regret it, I guarantee it. Update 1-14-2020 I like my Ford but not from Machens.

Worst worst worst service. First and last time. Took them over 2 weeks to just replace my wife’s bumper. Nothing else was damaged at all. It wouldn’t had been so bad if they had kept in touch with us since they said it was gonna be done in a matter of days. Every time we called they never showed any interest in really answering our questions. We had to go there a couple of times to get the same careless answer. The car was left dirty and smelling bad inside. One of the headlights is not working at all and our new battery just died out of nowhere. The one star is so I can post this review so I had no choice but to give it to them

😁 Ryan & Staff at Commerce Dr - Highly Recommended!The damage is undetectable now!More impotantly, the modules were tested. I feel safe knowing that. . . . Thanks Ryan and staff! . . . My car was lightly rear-ended. The bumper sustained a crease and scuffing. Ryan explained that the shop could repair the work without needing a new bumper and ecplained that it was hard to justify breaking the bumper pins to test the modules underneath the bumper, which would have left them exposed until insurance approved the work and the repair was being made. Made sense to me!
