Extremely Unpleasant. Throwing trash out is a chore, as people constantly leave their trash outside of the trash compactor, which is also extremely small. Our bathroom and living room have experienced leakage, with the bathroom being the worst case of it.

Bottom line: There are a ton of options in this area for the same or lower price. Id recommend choosing one of those.1) Biggest complaint: The management doesnt care. While I was there I saw plenty of conplaints from neighbors going unanswered, but the management continued to bombard tenants with spam emails and notifications on pointless topics in order to save them money. They make it clear this is not a community or anything close to it. Pay your rent and dont complain about anything.2) The apartments are nothing special: average size, poor water pressure, mediocre appliances.3) When I moved in my bathroom hadnt been cleaned and the toilet boil was filthy.

So as a resident in this apartment complex, you must have to worry about someone stealing your car, bad activity around the complex in general. The leasing office is far from capable of doing their jobs, they do not follow CDC rules about masks in the office on their persons, if you ever need anything fixed or something has broken in your apartment, the leasing office is gonna do their bare minimum to get it fixed. They will give you the run around as to why it wont get fixed or why it hasnt been fixed. Would I recommend to the general public absolutely not. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE SAVE YOUR MONEY.

So here is the problem! I feel this people is now my friends because they show up almos daily due to kids pulling the fire alarm and the ran away. I was told by firefighters that this was out of hands and i needed to press the office. I mean i know the people who work here and they couldn’t careless for safety or anything they just care about the money. This was the visit number 4 in one week only!!! can you believe that... 4 incidents in 7 days. (owner don’t even bother on copying the message to contact you because i did and you already told me you were not going to do anything about the problem!)

I live at Stone Haven and have been here for many years. This place is wonderful everyone who works here has been here for a long time that is one of the reasons I love it so much. They know me by my name and when i call I dont need to give my address or even say who i am because they always say Hi Mrs. Williams. The service is exceptional the manager Christina is a breath of fresh air she is very understanding and is always available even if i see her walking her dog around the property she willstop and say hi.

I absolutely love StoneHaven! Both Christina and Kyra are VERY helpful and are hand on with helping fix issues. Parking is never an issue and the fact that Howard County Police rides through makes things very safe. Ive been here two years and never had an issues with my car being touched. Aldo and Jimmy are very nice and professional. When we put a request online our problems are always fixed in a timely matter. In regards to COVID-19 the office has been very safe with following guidelines and staying 6 feet apart. I will be renewing my lease until I find the perfect house for me !

We recently moved out of Stonehaven because our family grew and we needed more room, We bought a home but were sad to leave our community. We lived at Stonehaven for two years and it was the best experience my family had while renting. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Christina is very professional and also very personable we got to know her and she was great. We will miss everyone but we will make visits since we are only in Elkridge now. Aldo and Jimmy always got our request done timely and Kyra was also very nice and always helpful.

Today i just got a notification at my door from management lo let residents know that it will be a fee of 75.00 dollars if for any reason we need maintenance to open the apartments for me, if for any reason i forget or loss my apartment key , I found this abusing. I’ve been living here for 3 years never had to request it, but now if for some reason I need it I’ll be punished with an absurd fee. Just an FYI for the future residents.

I came to tour this property because of the great reviews so i felt I had to leave a review as well. I toured with kyra and she was absolutely amazing. She was so informative and very professional. the community is very clean and quiet as well.

I have been a resident of this complex for over 2 year. First I want to say that all the things I want you (future resident) to know started about a year ago. First this place is not cheap you pay $1700 for a 2B2B here, the least you expect is that property management is on top of every single issue. We have complaint many times about stranger walking inside the buildings, smooching, and even drinking. We called the police and when they see the police of course they ran, when the police is gone they return. We told management and they said there is nothing they can do (my thinking now is they DO NOT WANT to do anything). We have tell them that the reason of why there is so many stranger is because the two courts we have (tennis and basketball) are county property so in other words there is public property inside private property. Management wash their hands saying is county we cant do anything. Couple months ago we start having an issue with the fire alarm. Between 8-10pm the alarm go off and we have to evacuate the building at the beginning it was once a month, then twice and month and now we have 6 incidents in August (August 2019) which 4 were in ONE WEEK!!! Just think the waste of time and resources, plus people now decide not to get out of the building because why we know it was pulled you can see it when you walk by. Last time the lead firefighter decide to talk to all the neighbors and told us that this was ridiculous, he which is an expert in the subject, told us the alarm have been PULLED not a malfunction PULLED every single called. He asks us to talk to management. I did and they told me NOTHING is going to be done. The manager told me a company told her it was a malfunction, thats a lie and she knows it, there is no malfunction. Again my point is the place is not safe anymore. The new modality added to the fire issue is vandalism to our cars, what I was told when I report the issue contact the police or move out! The told me to MOVE OUT!!! wow, if you move here is on you.

The apartments are beautiful. I toured with Kyra and she was very professional. She was warm and welcoming and made sure to answer all of my questions. All around a great experience.

This place has really been the best. I was searching like crazy for an apartment that was suitable for me. I was helped by a young lady named Kyra. She has been amazing with reassurance and quality about this place. Ever since I just moved in, it has been nothing BUT good things. I totally recommend Kyra to the next person. 😊

I toured the property today, the service was exceptional Christina Allen was assisting me Christina knew the area very well. I will be moving from VA in late October I definitely have Stonehaven at the top of my list.

We have recently moved here with roommates and we love it. The apartments are beautifully renovated, and reasonably priced. All of the office staff are very friendly, and knowledgeable. Amenities are great, and so far we havent had an issue with any hidden fees like most other apartments. Maintenance comes on time and does a great job when a request is filed. Overall this is a great community, and located in a great area that is nearby a really nice shopping zone. Will recommend to others :)

Loved this apartment. We signed a 15 month lease, and had our first baby here! We’re moving out of the area and we wish we could just move the apartment complex to our new location. The walls are very sound proof and the community is more than welcoming and kind. Kyra has been there through our entire time here and had been more than helpful. Thank you, Stonehaven, for such a delightful first apartment.

I moved in at the end of March. I have been happy so far the office seems to be very accommodating even now my dog Ce-lo comes by everyday to say hi. He will literally run up to the door after we are done and want to go in the girls in the office always welcome him and give him lots of love. Christina was the lady who helped me and showed me around. Very nice and helped me even get my cable and internet set up.

I recently visited this apartment complex and I have to say this was the best visit. unfortunately my family and I are not moving until June however the manager Christina showed us around she was so professional and treated us so great. We visited about 10 propertys during our time in maryland and most people treated us as a bother or would not show us because our date was so far away not Christina she showed us a model the fitness center and she even spent the time with us educated us on the area. We are going to be moving to Stonehaven once we get closer we will apply.

Lived here since 2015 great place the maintenance is awsome, snow removal has been really efficient this year and in years past. My daughter will often get locked out after school the office will call me to let me know and then will let her in. Christine is the manager who i actually leased from. She is really a great person has been in the office for a long time.

I toured with the leasing agent Kyra and she was very informative on everything I needed to ask. The place looks great and seems quiet. The units was very spacious and clean and comes with a washer and dryer and microwave! I definitely will be moving here once my old lease is up soon

For someone who has lived in a house for the last 20 years in the Columbia area. I absolutely love everything about Stonehaven from the time I first stepped into the office and Kyra helped me find my home. I’ve been here for almost 2 years and the staff has gone above and beyond to meet me and families needs. Just a few days ago my 11 year old daughter got locked out and the manager Christina walked her home and made sure that she called me to tell me that she was in the apartment and safe. Aldo and Jimmy always respond to any service. Even speaking with my neighbors they all speak highly of everyone and the service they provide, even when things are out of their control they try very hard to make sure that us as residents are comfortable. Since I’ve been here they are constantly doing improvements to make the complex better. I’m very satisfied resident and would recommend Stonehaven to anyone who needs a place to live.

So Im making an adjustment to my review from before and PURELY because management did an amazing job trying to remedy the issues I presented in my former one. The biggest issues still remain but the effort to fix things was great and I seriously appreciate it.Our biggest issue was consistently that our neighbors could hear everything we did and consistently came up to our apartment and asked us to quite down. But our kids were playing and just being kids and there wasnt much we could do about them playing with their cars and things.The secondary issue was that the rooms have some issues with having very different temperatures and even though they really tried to fix it, I think its more of a structural thing.So to management, seriously thank for all your efforts. And to the company who owns the building, please give these people more to work with, and be honest about the building. Oh and seriously, do something about the trash situation. I cant imagine the headache ot causes staff.

I have lived here at Stonehaven for 8years I have enjoyed my time here. The place is clean, the staff at rental office is always welcoming and take care of anything I need. I lived in a original apt which was nice but moved to a new renovation apartment in 2014 and absolutely love it. I am shocked to see some of the negative reviews as my time here has been great.

This weekend I went to Stovehaven as I am thinking about a move just outside of Baltimore. They were super friendly and the community was beautiful. The renovations were what I needed and there is a place for my dog to enjoy as well. I am still searching but this was a community high on my list of options. I recommend checking it out.

Sooo... this just happened! The security here is NOT good at all. Robberies and now this. We have contact the office and their response is this is a police matter and the police said this is a property issue at the end we are in the middle. This place has gone south over the last year. Bottom line this is why I am not renewing and can’t wait to move out!

I cant say enough good things about this property...especially Christina and Kyra in the leasing office. The apartments are big and the property is always very clean. Its central to everything in Columbia, close to the mall, 95 and only 20 minutes away from the Inner Harbor. I would definitely recommend this apartment community (and have) to anyone!

Have really nice people their to talk to . Have a playground, a pool and a gym mostly Stone heaven have mostly have people needs. Also the staff also do fun activities.

Summary: For the price you pay you would think at the very least you would get a quality building. If you dot not want to hear every step of the people above you, every time they pee, when they flush it sounds like a waterfall in your walls, then stay away.Likes: The main office personnel were very pleasant, helpful etc. The maintenance staff did what I requested without too much delay. I like the patio on my first floor apartment, out back, nice and quiet with some privacy. That is rare in a place like this.Dislikes: The construction of the building is all wood, and there is no sound barrier or insulation between the floors of the second floor apartment. The people living above me were NOT BIG! The man looked like he weighed about 115 lbs, small wife and a 3 year old daughter. EVERY SINGLE STEP sounded like they were walking with hammers on their feet. The 3 year old would run around constantly and it sounded like rolling thunder all day long. I do not blame the people, I blame the construction. EVERY SINGLE MORNING I would hear him get up, walk to the bathroom right next to the bedroom, lift the seat, pee (yes I hear the pee hitting the toilet) and then when he flushed, the piping goes down through my wall so it sounds like a waterfall torrent in my wall every time. Multiple times a day my ears are filled with the sound or rushing water through the piping, VERY UNPLEASANT. The garbage situation is horrendous. They have ONE area for bringing your trash, it is a trash compactor. People are expected to throw their trash through a small door. The problem is they miss, or leave the bags right on the edge, and start blocking the opening. SO the next person doesnt even try to push it with the STICK they provide for this purpose, they simply leave their trash on the sidewalk near the opening. Then it starts to stack up, there are PILES of trash after a few days, it stinks, its horrible, and unbelievably bad.

I had an appointment to tour the Stonehaven apartments, but when I arrived the leasing office was locked and empty. I waited for 20min, yet no-one ever showed. Very unprofessional. I understand things may come up, but at least have the courtesy to send out an email to reschedule—dont waste peoples time.

Just Moved in and love the apartment. The whole staff has been very nice and pleasant. I worked with Kyra, I swear this lady is never off, and will go to the end of the earth for you with a smile. Everyone has been super friendly and the apartments looks great.

Stonehaven is a great place to live. All the girls in the office are very helpful even down to helping me learn how to set up my online account. Jimmy and Aldo always respond to my maintenance when I have a issue. The complex is very quiet and always clean. Kyra and Christina are always helpful any day of the week. I also enjoy coming in to the office to get free coffee and lemonade on the weekends with nichole.

Ive lived at Stonehaven for 5 years & have always found the staff & crew to be professional, motivated, & highly-attentive to the needs of their residents. The remodeled apartments, social activities, & various amenities make Stonehaven an excellent choice for anyone looking for a high standard of living. It will continue to my preferred place of residence for years to come.

Ive never had any problems living at the apartment complex. The ladies in the office are all very helpful and friendly. Anytime anything is wrong with my apartment the maintenance guys are always there to help in a timely manner. I am very shocked and surprised to see all the negative reviews about the community. It appears that when people dont get their way with certain things they try to write negative reviews to deter others from visiting the apartment complex. Like your suppose to pay your rent on time and when you dont the office is just doing their job. Even when theres problems with maintenance or other issues. The staff is very communicative with the people who live here just like the trash issue. We were just notified yesterday that the new trash thing would be fixed by the end of this weekend. As a business person I get a lot of packages to my home and the office ALWAYS excepts and holds my packages for me and when I go to pick them up the office is always open. Stonehaven is a great place to call home for me, my family and many others that I know also enjoy the community. And how DARE someone speak on the bus stops for the children that the COUNTY CONTROLS and not neither Stonehaven or the condos across from them have any say in it. Long term residents of 7 years and counting.

I just moved in not too long ago and I honestly can’t even express to you enough how professional and friendly the staff is here! Oceanna and Christina were beyond amazingly helpful and truly made my move in process so smooth and what’s supposed to be a super stressful day ended up being such a fun experience because of them and I’ll always cherish that. The community grounds are ALWAYS very well maintained. I was immediately sold after my tour, being able to see how beautiful the renovations were in my one bedroom truly sealed the deal for me. It is a very gorgeous and peaceful community, and I enjoy the fact that its kind of in the back away from public, which is all a huge plus for those who enjoy a little sense of peace and privacy.

I love living here. The staff is so respectful. We have lived here for 4 years and have enjoyed it so far.

We visited Stonehaven Apartments & we were treated very nicely. The agent showed us around for 2 bedrooms and 3 bedrooms and we liked both floorplans, mainly 3 bedrooms apartment. We like spacious rooms, upgraded kitchen and all other amenities. We look forward to becoming new tenants.

Just renewed my lease with stonehaven. I’m always very pleased when you come in the office and the grounds are always kept very nice. Their is one staff member there named Kyra that every time I go in the office is so nice and pleasant.

We moved out because we bought a home, I promised Christina I would do a review because she has been nothing but a great manager here at this community. We just turned in our keys on January 31st I gave her a great big hug I will never forget the service that was given to me during my 2 years here and I will miss everyone, Kyra is also very sweet and has helped me put packages in my apartment since I have knee problems and sometimes it is hard for me. I will defiantly send people to Stonehaven if I know of anyone.CJ

DO NOT LIVE HERE. The amount of money you will pay per month for the status of the apartments, amenities and lack of maintenance is a joke. We have never had a fire alarm, there are just wires hanging from the ceiling, and no one has ever come to fix it. They are nice to future residence but could not care less about the people who are current residents. Our rent goes up significantly every year but the apartment certainly does not get any nicer and neither does the service. The location is good but not worth the cost.

Ive lived here for 5 years . I have noisy neighbors, people pee at my door, I have had 3 floods . The walls are hallow and you can hear every conversation from the people upstairs. I think I had to put down a OK deposit but the rent went up for 1,800 to 2200 . You have to pay a 250 dollar pet fee per pet and they dont have a PROPER BUS STOP for the children, so a car can come on the corner and hit a child. I hope that some problems will improve!

The best luxury apartments in Columbia. The staff was helpful in every aspect of the move. The staff is very cheerful and outgoing. The apartments are high quality from the wood floors to the graniet counter tops stainless steel appliances washer and dryer in units. This is the perfect place to live very quiet and calming patios or balcony outside pickneck tables and a pool. The state of the art gym is a dream to every guy or woman work out. We looked at many apartments but our discussion came down to the staff they treated us like we were family before we even said yes. Very much inpressed with the complex nothing but 5 stars. Thanks for everything and everyone who helped us with the process and its a wonderful feeling to be home here at Stoneheaven in Columbia.

The office staff and maintenance are the only positive. They are nice and courteous, but that doesnt make up for the poorly constructed building. Main reason we moved out was because of the upstairs neighbors traffic at all hours. Stomping so loud to where my lights were shaking and pictures were rattling. Theres nothing in the lease saying they can do anything about it, so thats why I didnt complain to the office. Its only if they are playing loud music or domestic disturbances. I understand they pay rent like I did but its no way to live especially when you have a newborn trying to sleep. I also had 3 roof leaks being that I was on the second floor of a 4 story building. The ceiling is so thin that I got the remnants of my upstairs neighbors dishwasher leaking. It leaked through a light and air vent! Also the electricity is off. Theres no way my electricity should be 140 dollars when I dont run the AC and barely use appliances. It needs to be updated to an energy efficient water heater too. Also the price is ridiculous. I paid 1800 for a 2/2 and the price was going to go up if I renewed my lease to almost 2000? Not worth it.

We lived there for over a year and loved it. We started our family there and dearly miss the friends and staff of Stonehaven. Thank you all so much for everything.

Stonehaven is amazing and I love that its close to a local grocery store and the staff is really nice. I love stonehaven!!

I’ve been living here for 3 years and overall is not a bad place. My only issue is been with management. Every year they will increase your rent for no reason whatsoever. If you utilize the balcony or patio in a way they don’t agree you will be charged $100. The trash it’s been a serious issue since day one (sometimes you will see mattresses, sofas and lines of trash bags outside the trash can) I have left many complaints and nothing have been done. As of yesterday I got a letter in my door saying that if for any reason i get locked out of my apartment I will be charged $75 dollars during business hours and $150 after the office is closed. The amount is ridiculous and absurd and this is something that you have to pay even if is the first time (I have never had the need to ask to open my door). Is a shame because the location is great but the apartment and facilities does not show what you pay for ($1700 w/o water and gas)

Kyra in the front office was nothing but helpful throughout my entire moving process. The maintenance and Xfinity people for the apartment concomp are amazing. I believe I am going to love living here.

I figure 1 or 2 negative posts ok but 13!?.. Everyone cant be wrong!! So Ill pass on the migrains.
