Very good service. I scheduled my door to door trip from Columbia MO to the St. Louis airport online and all was fine. They picked me up on the exactly scheduled time. The bus is very comfortable and the driver was kind and took us there in safe on my flight terminal, at the exactly arrival scheduled time. No questions that is the best service around Columbia to this kind of trip.

For a company that prides itself on safe, friendly customer service, nothing could be further from the truth. My experience included a disrespectful bus driver named Arbie who didn’t wear a mask until we were 20 minutes on the road. The MOX website says the company trademark is “simple human kindness” yet I’ve never felt more susceptible to Covid than my trip with this bus driver who had no regard for the safety of his passengers. If the owners of this company are going to practice what it preaches, then they need to train better or get rid of clowns like Arbie.

The driver was awesome. He had solid jokes and respected that everyone just wanted to take a nap on our late night travels. Plus he gave us water to drink which was a nice touch. Well be catching them back and recommending them to everyone still. The best way to get to KCI or STL without having to worry about driving yourself.

Mo-X USED to have exceptional service. NOW, THEY STINK. Today, the left my niece at the airport who was 1 minute away from the meeting place because she read the instructions incorrectly and was waiting at the wrong terminal. We both called and begged them to wait ONE MINUTE and they LEFT. My niece watched the shuttle pull away from the airport, from the terminal bus, a mere few feet away. I travel many times a year with Mo-X, but no more.This is especially frustrating because the last time I used Mo-X I rearranged my entire schedule and left 4 hours early on a different bus so they wouldnt have to send a shuttle to St. Louis with only one person on it. On my return trip, the driver was late picking us up at the airport. The trip before that, the driver was almost 30 minutes late to pick me up at my house. Apparently its fine for them to be late, but God forbid you are 1 minute late for your shuttle.Mo-X used to promise worry-free travel. I completely disagree. What a waste of my money.

Today early morning I had a MO-X appointment. However there was a sound that suspect as gun fires, near my apartment at mid-night. I didnt want to go outside for pick up instead, I stayed in the common space of my apartment complex. And a cop came in to the room, ask some questions about the suspicious sound. Unfortunately, because of those issues, I miss the pick up. But the MO-X take a responsible and let me bring to the next station. I can on the board that I should be. Thank you.

Wow cant say anything but good about this service from the airport to Columbia in a comfortable van the driver helps you with your bags and into the van if needed and I did need help. He is very friendly the ride is great and if you need to stop along the way he will not hesitate to do so for you. We arrived on time and I would recommend moecs to anyone enjoy

I booked a round trip from Columbia to Lambert, St. Louis, airport. When I landed in St. Louis on my return, I received a text that I was landing at United Airlines, Terminal 1. I called MO X and told the dispatcher that this was incorrect and that I was at Southwest, Terminal 2. He told me that they would pick me up in 12-15 minutes. When no one came, I called back and was told to go to exit 15. That was the first I heard of exit 15. When I got to exit 15, I saw the bus pulling away. I called dispatch back and asked them to stop the bus so that I could catch it. They refused and told me that it was my fault and angrily hung up on me. I called again and was told that I could wait 2 hours for the next bus with no guarantee of a seat or make my own way home. I waited 2 hours and the next driver admitted that MO X was at fault and had made a mistake. Terrible service, Doc and Norm.

I have traveled throughout the U.S. and used many different shuttle services. I have used MO-Xe for nearly four (4) years while visiting family in Columbia MO during that time i have used the MO-X web site as well as direct calling for reservations. In all those years i have always received exceptional service. they were always on time and waiting in the baggage claim area as promised. In my last trip there was exceptional service, they not only took us from St Louis Lambert airport to Columbia but also to my families house. As always they were on time and even accommodated me as we arrived early and made an earlier shuttle. Then they took us to my sons house and waited for us to make sure someone was at home before they drove off. The driver was a gentleman and provided my wife and i water during the trip, asked if they needed to stop for a bathroom break etc. I have been delighted with their services for 4 years. Great job guys, thank you.

Was a frequent customer with Mo X for my airport travel, but after my last experience I will not be using their service and I encourage anyone that I know not to use them as well. I received a text from the airline that my flight had been cancelled, called them to book a new flight, and called Mo X after getting off the phone with the airline to inform them of the change. My travel plans were made well in advance but with my new flight I was not going to make my original shuttle with Mo X. The only option that Mo X could offer me was to wait hours for their next available shuttle or receive a store credit. I would not be able to receive a refund because the change was being made “less than 24 hrs” in advance. I understand that the flight cancellation was not their fault but it was not mine either, they could at least be more accommodating to customers in situations like this especially when they give them notice the day before travel. I’m assuming with college students coming back from winter break the shuttles sold out a little faster, which as a business servicing a college town Mo X should be more prepared to handle influxes in work load.

Ive traveled MO-X from Columbia to STL at least a dozen times. I agree that it stinks if your flight is delayed and you miss your shuttle, which actually happens often. But thats the airlines fault and not MO-X. If you book a 7 PM shuttle, the shuttle will leave at 7 PM. In my dozen trips (24 segments) there was not a single exception to this. If only the airlines were also that reliable! I didnt always arrive on time, but that only happened because of weather and accidents on I-70, which is a problem for anyone driving to the airport.If you miss your shuttle, MO-X will let you ride on the next shuttle on a first come, first serve basis. Ive never had an issue getting on the next shuttle. This is similar to how most airlines handle missed flights, so I think its fair.I also think its a better alternative (at least right now) than flying into Columbia Regional, because they offer door-to-door service and you have more options if you miss your shuttle. Its much easier in my opinion to miss the last flight into Columbia.Some of the shuttles were more comfortable that others, and things can get crowded at times. If that werent the case, Id be at a 5 instead of a 4.

First time flying into St. Louis Airport, I had no trouble finding the MoX company driver in the baggage area as he was wearing company identification. He was friendly and courteous and showed us to the bus when it was time to leave. The vehicle was clean and air conditioned. The driver even offered us bottled water which I thought was a nice touch. Despite being delayed a few minutes, we still arrived in Columbia on time. I have to say I was quite pleased with the service and would definitely use them again.

Ive never had an issue with MoX. The drivers are nice. I have been able to make some very last minute reservations and appointment changes with no hurdles. However, service hours are not great, especially when traveling to KC. Also, MoX is pretty expensive and it is sometimes cheaper for me to just take Columbia Regional.

Very poor customer service! We spoke with the office five times prior to boarding the shuttle and they never told or asked about payment. We relied on their direction, since this was the first time we had use their service and after being seated on the shuttle, an extra person scheduled for the next ride showed up, causing us to be removed. The driver was rattled and rude. It was an unnecessary embarrassing situation that could easily have been avoided by being given correct information and simply checking for reservations, which they never did. The next driver, Kenny, made up for our bad experience earlier, as he was very kind and pleasant.

Whatever happened to Customer Service??? This organization doesnt know the meaning of the word. In trying to reach KCI for a noon reserved trip to Columbia we hit a bad storm which slowed down all traffic. I called the office to let them know my google maps predicted I would be 1 minute late to the terminal and would they please let the driver know I would be there. She said they couldnt do it. Sure enough I arrived at the terminal right at noon and pulled up behind the shuttle as it was taking off. I called the office to ask them to call the driver as I was right behind them and they would not do it. Really???? Even Southwest Airlines who prides themselves on on-time service will wait for passengers running through a terminal. But these jokers were rude and almost seemed happy to be telling me they wouldnt stop the shuttle. Wish I would have read the reviews here before I made the reservation. And of course no refund... only in house credit which is probably on purpose because they know no-one will want to count on them again so they will just get to keep your money. Wish I could give zero stars.

Service was initially good and very prompt, but as we got into St. Louis the driver began tailgating a semi in the rain. There was not even a regular carlength in between as far as I could see and no possibility of stopping in a crash. Eventually he passed the semi and we began moving much faster, so I assume he was trying to make up for lost time in traffic due to an accident. The driver also hit the rumble strip three times in this area. I was very concerned for my safety and will think twice before using mo x at night again

Driver was friendly and accommodating, but we had a flat tire 45 minutes outside of Columbia. Driver pulled over to side of road until a passenger encouraged him to drive on to the next exit. We waited for 2 hours for another bus to come. Thankfully both passengers had lots of time to spare. Once we got the new bus, however, the ride was w harrowing! Driver drove over speed limit, went off on side road grates various times, kept driving with one hand in moderate to heavy traffic trying to reach/look into multi-zippered bag beside him to find things, change glasses , talk on walkie talkie, etc and tailgated cars in front of him. Why dont drivers have blue tooth headphones to communicate with other drivers? Very distractable, scary to ride with him. I would not use this service again.

Currently sitting at the STL Airport waiting on the shuttle that won’t arrive until another hour, after being left. I called the office 10 mins before the shuttle time asking was I at the correct terminal exit and I was told yes. I never saw the shuttle so I call back to the office and I was told that the shuttle left. I am missing important meetings in Columbia, MO because of this setback. If I paid for the shuttle ride in advance I expect better customer service. I understand the pick times completely but if I called the office before hand I would think that MO X would make sure that I was on the shuttle before you just leave. It’s standard for MO X to have your name and number but no one uses it to call the customer that has paid in advance.

They just left my mother in law at the airport where she had been waiting for them for an hour. She had never traveled through mci before and thought she was at the right shuttle. She finally called them after waiting so long and they said they picked someone up. They never gave her a call to see where she was. They also told us the ticket will be non refundable even though she was not on the shuttle. We will not be using this service again and I do not recommend it.

On 11/3/18 my friend just returned from her brothers memorial service and was to meet ride#446 in Kansas City at 6. She was tired and exhausted and was in a wheelchair. The person in the terminal who was supposed to see she got where she was going refused to take her to C9, your pickup location. He left her outside in the cold and damp. The MoX driver went out of his way to circle and get her and made sure she was comfortable once on the van. During the ride home she told me how the driver kept checking on her to make sure she was all right. I am most impressed MoX has such quality people driving for them!

I feel the need to write a review because of anonymous jokers on here who write negative damaging reviews and then are so cowardly as to not even have the guts to put their name on it. Im guilty of being so content with services that I dont take the time to write reviews and what usually happens is the negative ones saturate the pool of reviews. Its like peeing in the community pool...one person ruins it for everyone. So Im taking the time to write a review now! Personally if you dont have the guts to put your name on something so negative then it doesnt even count in my opinion. To me their reviews smell of someone with a chip on their shoulder and who is maliciously trying to damage MO-X! Ive been a faithful rider of MO-X for 15 years and MO-X does what they say they will do! They do leave ON-TIME and are very up front and consistent with that policy so its not a shock to me if I know my airline is going to make me late that I already know I will get the first open seat on the next available shuttle. MO-X has been such a huge help to me and my family the past 15 years getting us to/from the airports!!! All the times my family and I have ridden theyve always taken extremely great care of us!!! Theyre so trustworthy and dependable!!! I dont know what I would do without them!!! I was on the van today and the woman behind me said the exact same thing that she wouldnt be able to live here and do what she does with all her travels without MO-X here!! Thank you MO-X!!!

I was to be picked up st 6:00 pm at KC airport. I called moex office at 5:29pm to let them know I had landed. The office told me they would leave at 6:00 pm. I rushed to retrieve my luggage and called them again at 5:29 to let them know I was approaching Starbucks and would be right there. I reached Starbucks at 6 :01 and van had left. To say I was furious would be putting it mildly. Had I been younger(Im 75) I would have made it. I had to wait until 9:00 pm for next van.The office people are rude arrogant and not very pleasant. They definitely need Courtesy Training. I reserved a 7:00 p.m. pick up for the shuttle. The layover flight from Ohio to St. Louis was delayed. When I arrived the airport close to 7:00, I met the driver and told him that I needed to walk from carousal one (the pick up spot) to carousal 6 to retrieve my luggage. He told me that he could not wait, not even one minute and he took off. One of the passengers felt sorry for me and I sensed that the others would not mind to wait for the additional 2-3 minutes. I understand the need for being punctual, but I could not believe that the driver would not wait for 2 additional minutes for me to get the luggage. what did I suppose to do, just abandon or luggage? The driver could easily make up the difference of 2 minutes in the 2 hour drive. I have rode MoX shuttle service many times before, there were a few times that I witnessed that the drivers have made all passengers sat in the van and waited for one or two passengers. None of us, including me complained that it was a waste of our time. So the rule has been bent before. I am very upset that just for two minutes delay, I have to wait for 1.5 hours for the next ride. I have used shuttle services around the States, but have never encounter one company so inflexible as MoX. The company is being very inflexible and this is no way to reward a loyal customer. I was tired and very eager to go home. I felt very helpless, frustrated and at the mercy of the company, even though I am the paying customer. Do I have any right?

Fast and easy somewhat. I had a flight change and the flight was leaving at a later time, I called to change my reservations to a later time.... you guessed the answer was a NO. Since they have bought the competition EzGo they have no competitors so they will do what they want and how they want. Screw you it the motto now. The drivers have got to the most dangerous drivers on the road. Havent even mentioned how rough the van ride is, its like riding a bicycle with square wheels. I have had some good service from them in the pass..... but olDoc & Norm has lost their scent of customer care. Guarantee if they were ever to experience service from a company like the customer service they provide they would also lose their minds.

The big bus which holds 22 people at once was not having any AC. We stop half way to St. Lious from columbia. Though the driver was very good who comfort us all the way the bus was so hot and all 22 seats were without seat belt. It was unsafe. And paid 57USD

Our experience of this company was poor at best. The attitude towards us as the client was the worst. I, my wife and daughter have never experienced such a rude group of people. The owner and employees lack of concern for the passenger and their safety is by far the worst. The owner called and was rude and even ruder than the employees, he did not resolve anything and only made me madder and then swore at me a hung up. People need to speak up, most do not want to because he has a monopoly on college kids; but I have heard the complaints from others as well. The shuttle is fine once you make the reservation, and theres the rub.The on line reservation que is klunkey & long - I got to the payment moment and had to call it in because the final checkout button was all but hidden. Then a few days before the shuttle they they changed the reservation to a later shuttle that would not work.So if you you can get a solid reservation, and get on the shuttle you want, youre golden, but this is the first review Ive ever done with a service where the reservation process was not up to to par, more like a triple bogie.Good luck - hope MO-X improves the opportunity to use their service. I like Mo-x many time in the past Ive used them, but their online reservation format needs much improvement. =Peter=

Had a good experience going to Kansas City but return trip was one of the most uncomfortable rides we have had. The seats were very uncomfortable was freezing and the driver had music playing that was awful. Wonder dont the owners ride in their own buses to know how uncomfortable they are. There were maybe a few good seats but of course they were already taken. It was very rough riding also. Felt every bump. Dont know that we will use this service again.

I have read a complaint about a person being left behind by Mo-Ex so I want to do a public service for those who are new to the service. I’m not an employee but just a loyal customer who has used them for years and you have to understand how Mo-Ex works. The driver has a list of passengers and if you do not meet the driver by the scheduled departure time, you will get left behind. Like any public transportation service, Mo-Ex will NOT come and find you; you must go to the driver. They keep a tight schedule and with all the flight delays and cancellations these days, it is impossible for Mo-Ex to come and track you down. It is not part of the service. However, I have always found them to be very accommodating about getting you on a later shuttle if they have room. Just call them if you have a problem.

I am amazed at how callous Mo-X was tonight toward my wife. She was 1 minute EARLY for the 8:30 shuttle, at 8:29, and they left without her. Flying all day from Europe to be treated like this. I will NEVER use them again and I hope you dont either. We called at 8:26 to tell them to wait, she had her bag, but NO. It might of cost them 1 minute in their schedule, but it sure costs her an 1.5 hours. There is another choice, EZGO Bus.

I have taken the MO-X before, and when nothing goes wrong, the service is great. Drivers are friendly, the give you water and a magazine.But when things go wrong, MO-X is beyond terrible at dealing with it. This past Saturday, I was scheduled on the MO-X shuttle leaving at 9 am from Kansas City Airport. Due to bad weather, an accident occurred on I-70 and shut the entire highway down, in both directions, for 6 hours. Obviously, this is a fairly extreme event that is beyond MO-Xs control. Just as obviously, in a situation like this, customers expect a company to proactively communicate with them about the situation. When you make a reservation MO-X asks for a phone number. One might reasonably assume this is to keep you updated in the event of unexpected delays, but apparently not. I had to repeatedly call MO-X for updates, and they repeatedly complained their phones were ringing off the hook. Once it took me 20 minutes just to get through (kept getting a busy signal) only to be put on hold. I asked why they couldnt call me or text me with updates, and they said they did not have the capacity to do that. I pointed out that their phones would not be constantly ringing if they proactively communicated with customers, and that they could do this via text (what most companies do), or by posting updates on the website, or even by just using twitter. They had no excuse why they didnt do any of these things.The icing on the cake? When the shuttle finally arrived 4 hours late, we were told not to get on because the shuttle needed to refuel. When it hadnt come back as promised 30 minutes later, I called and was told the driver was taking a much needed break, but lied to us about it. When I called back 30 minutes after that, I was told the shuttle broke down at the gas station, and the previous explanation about a break was actually made up. I then tried to get my money back, but was told that the shuttle breaking down was somehow not the companys responsibility (???) and they refused to issue a refund. I ended up splitting a rental car with 4 other stranded MO-X passengers.MO-X, the weather wasnt my fault any more than it was yours. You need to take responsibility for communicating with passengers, and take responsibility for the maintence of your own vehicle. You dont know if the weather had anything to do with the vehicle breakdown, and even if it did, thats certainly not my fault. A decent company would have apologized and refunded customers in this circumstance, but not MO-X. I am a professor at Mizzou and one of the other professors in my department had already warned me off MO-X. Please, take both of our advice and rent a car instead. Its not even that much more expensive and it might be cheaper.

I would not recommend this service to anyone traveling. If your plane is delayed and you miss the bus your OUT your money. It is also too difficult to match up flight times with the bus times so that you arent waiting 2 hours or missing the bus. Besides it cost the same amount to rent a Hertz rental car and drove back myself. Its a waste of your time and money!

Professional, driver arrived 15 min earlier than reservation confirmation but had read earlier reviews and was waiting early as a precaution. Ride to airport went off seemlessly and arrived at scheduled time. Would use again.

TERRIBLE customer service. I scheduled a shuttle to pick me up at KCI at 9am. I was never sent a confirmation email nor given a courtesy phone call to let me know what terminal I needed to be in for shuttle pick up. I was forced to wait 3 HOURS in an airport and did not arrive home until 230pm. I will never use this service again.

I experienced the worst customer service I have ever delt with when checking my reservation from an employee named Wes over the phone. After a long day of travel and extreme weather I was talked down to from the get go. Wes was defensive with any real communication almost impossible because he was to busy standing on his soap box listening to the sound of his arrogant voice. He refused to help me resolve my issues, wouldnt let me talk to his manager, wouldnt give me his full name, didnt offer any solutions and he couldnt be bothered to use any kind of social gracies or manners on the phone. Never again.

Terrible customer service and zero willingness to help passengers. Their non nonchalant attitude towards customers is unpleasant and crude.
