ESA is the best! Would never go anywhere else. We used them for an AC replacement and they were by far the most helpful out of everyone we called, and their prices were fair/in line with others. They also have a good maintenance plan. They do a great job!

My experience with your company was excellent! The salesperson Bob Galla explained everything that was needed in the process, he identified and advised all the repairs needed for vent and the ducts. Bobs proposal and the format I received was very formal; I really appreciated that a lot. He was responsive, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. ESA installed 2 heat pump systems with extensive ductwork (21 supply and return vents) and 1 ductless system with two mini-splits in our 165 year-old family farm house. Their large installation crew completed the work in 4+ days. Previously, two other local, well-known HVAC companies had come to our house to give us a proposal. The first said that this would be the most challenging system they’d ever designed; after 4 weeks, they were still working on the proposal. At that point, I called the next company and when they walked through our house, they told us upfront that the job was too big for them. Fortunately, they recommended ESA. As Bob Galla (ESA) walked through our house, he clearly understood the challenges with designing and installing ductwork and HVAC into this old house. He drew on his knowledge as an energy auditor, expertise on the Carrier and Aprilaire systems, and many years experience in designing systems for old farm houses. ESA sent me a proposal within just a few days and the price was right on target with my budget. Ryan was the overall supervisor. He and Rick led the work that was done throughout the house. They and everyone on the crew were great to work with. All of the work was carefully done and thorough, even at the smallest details. Ryan and Rick welcomed my involvement and were very responsive to my many questions. We had scheduled the install so my wife and I had two weeks to prepare the basement and attic for the work to be done. It was a lot of heavy and dusty work to clear the space for the systems and ductwork, but absolutely necessary to be done before the installation began. At the end of each work day, the ESA crew of up to a dozen workers cleaned and straightened up the job site. Bob and the crews went above and beyond to fit the HVAC systems and ducts so they took up minimal space in our attic and basement. After the install was completed, the new systems were practically invisible within our living areas - the only evidence of the new HVAC were the vents and two thermostats to control the downstairs zone and the upstairs zone. The work was completed about 3 weeks ago and everything is working beautifully. ESA has followed up several times to check on the systems and our satisfaction. The bottom line is that ESA did fantastic work! In retrospect, I don’t think there anything special about how they designed and installed the systems in our house - it is simply the way that the company conducts their business. I don’t give praise lightly, ESA earned their five stars from me in every category.

From start to finish everything was done well. We had to have an old AC replaced and the overall job looks great.

They managed to locate a second system, and get it installed all in one day as promised. The service call technician, Robert. was very knowledgeable and professional and walked through the service options with us. The unit ended up needing to be replaced (due to age), and the sales and service personnel did an outstanding job. The installation technicians, Ryan, Cody, David, and Bryant, arrived on-time, and had the new units installed and working well within the estimated time window. They were friendly and ensured that the areas were cleaned up after the installation that the units were functioning properly. We would recommend ESA to others needing HVAC service.

Our AC wasnt working, and they came out the same morning to diagnose it. The diagnostic fee was $105. He electrically tested our reversing valve, found it working, and worked backward to the thermostat and found it not to be sending voltage to voltage to the valve when it was calling for the system to come on.He didnt push to sell repairs and suggested we could just replace it ourselves and save money.Quality service, and so quick!

Mr. Dean was himself very informative and willing to discuss the details of need for our Home HVAC system. He provided a proposal for several options regarding different HVAC system and explained pros and cons of each system in a very cordial and understandable manner. Once my wife and I made the decision on the type of the system, he was very timely to send the contract for review. He scheduled the work within two days of us signing the contract. His crew were very professional, courteous, punctual, and polite. They did the job in a timely manner and removed all the old equipment and delivered the job in a great quality. The Head Technician oriented us to the system that they installed and showed the operation of thermostat, changing filter in the air handler, etc. All in all, we could not ask for any better deal than what ESE crew under the leadership Mr. Dean provided for us. These folks are outstanding; they came in for an inspection first (to see what I wanted, what the current layout was, what I could put in, what issues they could encounter, and how to overcome those issues).Once all that was ironed out, they set up a time to get to work; good professional work here (I left them alone the whole day and came back to a clean condo with carpet as pristine as I left it).Only downside is that they are expensive..then again though, you get what you pay for.They even tried to set up an appointment with inspections to make sure everythingwas as it should have been.You wont be disappointed

Had a problem with heat not coming on when needed for a gas furnace. They sent Steve for a diagnostic. He checked it explained everything very clearly, was friendly, polite and very respectful of the house. Steve was very knowledgeable and was able to narrow down the issue to a few issues. One was simply cleaning a part (2 seconds) then other was using some pliers to temporarily fix another part that may need to be replaced.I plan on buying a new system in the Spring and temporary is all I really needed.This was my first experience with them and it was very positive. I have no complaints. The reviews I read and what other have said are true. The company and the techs are top notch.Probably going to have them replace my system in the Spring too and I will review that as well.

Ivan was very systematic and explained everything to me before he did it. There was no pressure at all and he thoroughly went through each step to diagnosis the problem. Our unit is over 18 years old and I was fully expecting to be told it would have to be replaced. Ivan was able to get it running again. Even if he had not I felt like every reasonable effort would have been made to help us. Was very impressed and happy with the service.

This company is wonderful. Replaced my heat pump at a very reasonable price. I was very impressed by the service people all around. They were so professional, efficient and knowledgeable. I was treated with respect all around and kept informed about what was going to happen. This was not an easy install as I went from a package unit to a split unit and there was a lot of conversion that had to be done. After the install they asked for my vacuum so they could clean up anything that may have gotten on the floor, even though they used drop cloths, and when I said I would vacuum I was told that no, it was their job to leave my place as clean as it had been when they came. I am so glad that I used this company. You will not be sorry if you use this company.

Ivan G. and Rick G. completed a full air conditioner and furnace installation. They did an excellent job above and beyond what I expected. They even replaced dirt around the AC unit with gravel to keep the unit clean. They also relocated outdoor speaker wires I had resting on my hot water tank. The sealed all the new duct work and put the new AC unit on risers as requested. The new carrier infinity AC system is awesome. He was extremely friendly and helpful, taking the time to fully explain a number of setting options on our automated thermostat relating to humidity settings in the heating mode vs the cooling mode. His inspection and maintenance of our systems left me confident that they are in good shape and will get us through the winter. I can highly recommend ESA. Installation of a new AC and Furnace was scheduled within one week after placing the order. The space for the furnace was very, very tight but Ryan L. and his team fit in the new one just fine. (The original furnace was put in when the house was built before they put up the walls...). They showed up on time, cleaned up after they left, they handle the warranty registration, permit, inspection, rebate submission etc. Very Happy with their service.

This company is like the old-fashioned, customer comes first, type business you have heard about but never seem to experience. I bought a full HVAC system from them and the service couldnt have been better from beginning to end. Sales and service all treated me with respect, gave me a good price, and conducted the installation professionally. The tech showed up on time and did a through job checking out my HVAC system. He explained what he was doing and when a part needed to be replaced he explained to me why. I felt confident with Ivan and would recommend him to our neighbors.

Ivan was very courteous and professional. He checked several things I asked him to look at and gave me a full report. He flushed out my outdoor unit with a hose that he brought himself and generally took more time with my unit than any other repair person from ESA and I have been using them since 2000. Excellent service! AC was broken, called at 8:30am on a Sunday, call was returned by 11:00am and I was told a technician would be here between 2:00 and 5:00pm. Travis arrived at 2:10 and quickly solved the issue (AC out). He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional, even answering my inquisitive neighbors questions. :) He went above and beyond just getting it working and cleaned out the unit to keep it operating. Finally, he didnt leave until he had checked to make sure everything was working properly. All for a reasonable price.

I purchased my heat pump and air conditioner from ESA 10 years ago and Tim F. has consistently been my semi-annual check-up guy for years. He is friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the system. I do believe that they sold me a quality product and with their semi-annual maintenance agreement I will be able to keep this system running smoothly for another 10 years! Without them I couldnt have gotten my business up and functioning again so quickly. I really appreciated their dedication and perseverance to solve my problem.

My unit had iced up a few days before and he worked for the next 30 minutes to confirm where the problem was and isolated the failed part. I have been using Environmental Systems Associates for 18 years for all my maintenance - ever since they installed the system. I have always found all their technicians to be courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Most recently Frank provided a lot of good information and recommendations on my 18 year old system. He even gave me a break on the price of the Freon he had to provide. I have asked for an estimate for a new system to replace my aging one. I usually get three estimates but based on my long term association with ESA I plan to forgo the other estimates!

Ryan and the ESA Team were professional, fair, and showed that they genuinely stood behind the performance of their product. The team conducted on site measurements, sent a crew of 3 to do the install, and then returned a third time to enhance my duct system so that the newly installed unit could run at peak performance. Ryan explained all of the work, the AC and heat functionality, and the need for the changes to the duct work. These are big, expensive purchases and I am happy to recommend ESA.

While the first few techs from ESA that came to service our furnace/AC were very good indeed, once Tim F. visited, I decided to always ask for him. His obvious knowledge and willingness to explain the details (along with sharing valuable tips on what I as a homeowner can do to improve efficiency and keep heating/cooling costs down) are most appreciated. Now its late summer 2016. A/C stopped working Fri evening. Being a PM customer, I got fast attention and service on Saturday. Ryan Lowe sure had a rough day with many calls (in tight attics and crawl spaces on a very hot day) before ours, but he didnt show it. He was friendly and completely professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a bad capacitor and replaced accordingly. Again, this company is tops!

Steve did a superb job finding the issue with my HVAC and explaining every step and issue he was working on. He adjusted my vents and turned up the blower, twice until it was right, and adjusted the gas pressure so that my burner stopped overheating and shutting off. Now I have tons of hot air all over the house. Great Job and a very nice guy.

Richard the owner is amazing! He was so hands on with helping us figure out what was wrong with our AC. When other companies told us they would have to break drywall to fix it, Richard knew this was unnecessary. Scott, one of their technicians, fixed our problem in less than 30 minutes. Our experience was wonderful. They did a thorough assessment of our needs and presented a comprehensive plan with priced out options. We ended up needing to replace both the gas furnace and air conditioner (both 28 years old!). The crew did a wonderful job in the installation including making sure the area was clean. All the old parts and scraps were removed. After three days of operating the new system I wish I had done it years ago. I highly recommend ESA .

Woke up very cold. No heat! Called Environmental Systems Associates and they were able to send a technician the same day. My technician was Steve...........he arrived promptly and within minutes knew what the problem was. He was able to resolve the issue and the house started heating up even before he left. He takes time to explain things to us in understandable terms and always leaves us with the reassuring feeling that all is well with our environmental systems.

Tim F. came to our house for the first time today. He performed the routine maintenance on our heating system as per our new maintenance contract. He then checked all our heating related parts, including the humidifier, the registers in every room, etc. He made recommendations for things that were done improperly by our builder that are keeping us from getting maximum efficiency from our system. Instead of saying these improvements need to be done today, he suggested we wait a couple of months to be able to get a 25% discount because we have a maintenance contract. WE really appreciate his expertise and his suggestions. WE are very happy with ESA.
