They were very helpful, knowledgeable about their products, and worked hard to get our job done. We used Colorado Carpet to replace all the floors in our home and they did a great job, even moved things around to get us scheduled in a time that worked for us before we moved in. We love the floors!

We had shopped the recarpeting of our new Monument home with Lowes and Home Depot, and decided to go with the competitive estimate from Mike at Colorado Carpet. We were glad we did. They were timely, professional, and were thrilled with our new carpeting. We would highly recommend Colorado Carpet & Flooring, and would use them again.

My husband and I had a horrible experience with Mikes company. Everything seemed great at the beginning. When they arrived they were polite and seemed well organized. Within the next few hours my experience and opinion changed. The gentlemen who were doing the install backed into my mailbox twice in a matter of minutes. The box now sways from side to side, the flag is bent and the box doesnt stay latched shut. Later that same day one of the carpet installers wife and child arrived at my house with food, they said they were bringing their husband food. The woman and her child entered my house with the food, no masks during covid, sat with her child and husband and other workers on my newly installed carpet in my basement and ate burritos. The next day the base and lvt was to be installed. We did encounter and issue that day also. The contractors used our personal air compressor and when they left it was no longer working. The next day a lvt had peeled up as well. Next we were having the wood matched and refinished. The wood floor contractor and his partner arrived and met mike for the first time ever on my porch. They were respectful and went to work right away. I let them know the kitchen cabinets are white painted cabinets and please to protect them and not chip them. They laid the wood floor in the kitchen area to match the living room white oak floor, except the wood that was ordered didnt match at all. It had been laid, nailed and glued and even wood-filled. When Mike came by he noticed it and had the wood pulled back up knowing it wasnt right. Mike ordered the new white oak floors to match. I had told Mike I wanted to do oil and he said it was no problem but the sub contractor was really pushing water based. Mike later on told me oil would be additional even though he never said that before when we talked about oil. He also then told me that his sub contractor didnt have experience with oil finish. At this point Im a bit frustrated as my expectations are being let down and what I was told isnt being followed through on. I told them exactly what I wanted to see out of the Bona water options since at this point I was scared to use oil since he didnt have experience. I really wanted the oil due to durability. We had agreed on Bona NaturalSeal and 3 Coats of Bona Traffic HD to make up for the durability of water. Mike agreed directly to me and told me that he would like to just move forward and would do the Bona finish third coat because he was ready to be done with the project. He told me his contractors were tired of me and that I was too picky and hard to work for. After this comment I felt very disrespected and felt his professionalism wasnt there anymore. He spoke to my husband on the phone and also agreed to do the third coat of finish at no cost, fix our mailbox, and spend $250 to repair our cabinets. Then we received an email from Mike stating we owed him almost $800 extra dollars for the third coat of finish that he agreed to do at no cost, and the product up-charge. Which he never told me about. The only way he would waive this invoice is if we voided our instal warranty, and agreed to no verbal or written reviews and ended our client relationship. He also would only cover the cost of cabinets upon this agreement. My husband and I felt this wasnt fair. We paid a good portion of money, we were respectful and paying customers. We felt like we were being blackmailed into paying after he agreed to do it at no cost so we wouldnt review our experience. We still arent happy with our experience. Our wood floors have rough edges, nail heads showing, large gaps of wood fill, and t bar lines in the seal and finish. The finish is also on my new carpet and the carpet is extremely hard where the finish is. My cabinets have yet to be fixed as well. My husband tried multiple times via email to reach out to Mike with no farther response.

These guys were amazing! We had just purchased the house and needed them to begin work as soon as we closed. They were there - on time! They laced in new wood floors into existing, then stripped and refinish it all. We would highly recommend Colorado Carpet & Flooring.

After doing lots of shopping around I found Colorado carpet and flooring to be the best bang for your buck. There were other companies who were competitive, but I got an awesome deal purchasing LVT flooring through Dean. He not only came to my house to give me a free estimate and take measurements, but even brought tons of samples and explained the difference in how they were built and the difference in the quality between the different choices. These guys are extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Great communication throughout the whole process. Even when the shipping company did not deliver the flooring on time, Dean was able to track the shipment to tell me when it actually would be arriving in the area, and even told them to let me come pick it up directly to save time since they dropped the ball, (I was in a time crunch). Even when something fell through the cracks and it was not their fault, they went the extra mile to make sure and communicate what was going on and try to save me time.Next week they will be installing new carpet and padding in my basement and I will post a second review for that side of things at that time. So far very impressed and I would absolutely do business again with them and refer them to friends and family.Update: September 15, 2016.Carpet and padding was just installed in the basement a few days ago and I could not be more pleased. My wife and kids were out of town and I had to work that day so I was not home for the installation, but I felt comfortable giving access to my home to Deans crew while I was working. Came home to find ZERO mess or left over debris, and freshly vacuumed new carpet. I checked everything very thoroughly and these guys seriously did an awesome job. Everything is tight, seams are impossible to see, super pleased with the outcome.I will absolutely be using Colorado Carpet and Flooring again for anything else I need. Whether its a new install or needing to order more product, they have a customer for life!

We carpeted our entire home. The salesperson was helpful and came to the house to show samples. The price for the carpet and installation seemed reasonable. Then it was time for the work. The installers were not very friendly, which isnt a necessity but would have been nice. The biggest problem was the quality of service. VERY SHODDY WORK!!! Some of the carpet wasnt properly secured and is coming up. The stairs are horrible and on some spots the step and riser dont meet. Our basement is really bad, there is a distinct transition from the pad to the wall where the carpet drops that doesnt look very good. Im just really disappointed. After all the money we spent, we are left with a mess that Ill have to hire someone else to fix in the future. Do yourself a favor, go with someone else!!!UPDATE:This is not a false review, this was written in my account with my maiden name. Try looking under my married name, Hammersley. You will see that my husband and I spent quite a bit of money last year with your company. My review still stands and I think you should be more selective on the subcontractors you hire to do your installation. You may also want to reconsider some of the manufacturers you buy your carpet from because ours was not very good quality. As I stated before, we already need to replace your carpet in most of the house and it hasn’t even been a year. Very disappointed.

I had carpet for a long time but was looking into an easier to maintain and not stain flooring. I purchased some wood flooring from them, it was very easy to install and looks great and I think its going to last a lot longer than my old carpet.

Great job doing tear out, disposal, moving furniture and installing our beautiful new carpet. An issue due to incorrect carpet sample labeling at factory was quickly handled by the owner.

Their install crew damaged a wall and an existing metal trim strip. They agreed to reimburse me for wall repairs and replace the trim strip. Numerous calls and emails to our salesman Dean, and yet 35 days later, nothing has happened. Cant recommend. Will update if they do anything...Update: After I took the time to track down the owner things improved. Mike ensured that the repairs and reimbursements were finally made right and seemed genuinely concerned about the outcome. For this I added a star.

These guys are great. Expectations were met across the board from start to finish and most of all communication was thorough.

Carpet was delivered on time and installed within half of a day. It turned out great and I would definitely call Colorado Carpet and Flooring again.
