The people you speak to seem friendly enough, but that doesnt translate to them actually getting y9u the support that was court ordered to you. Ive asked for paperwork stating the exact amount my ex is in arrears three times and theyve refused to send me the information. Stating they did, or that their technicians would email them to me and not following through. They state theyre going to report the arrears to his job and nothing happens. They do absolutely nothing to enforce even the minimum youre supposed to get and they dont care about the children their apathy affects. The enforcement Office is the exact same deal.

I can believe this is a state run facility the ppl who answer the phones are horribly nasty, mean, and unhelpful. I have a disability and the women on the phone was soooo rude that I could not hear her, then the next lady put me on hold for 5 min to do research on whether or not what I told her was true instead of getting information about why the other party has gotten away with not paying in over a year. I am beyond frustrated and this is a court order. How does this office or the other party get away with this. LAZY, ENTITLED, PAY ME TO DO NOTHING EMPLOYEES, WHO ONLY WANT TO COLLECT A CHECK BUT HELP NOOOO ONE.

Literally just had their customer service representative hang up on me, after waiting on hold for a half hour, they constantly are changing the amounts of my balance to be the same as it was a year ago when I called for an account balance with multiple payments being made sense then as well as off set tax returns and stimulus checks. Their payment tracking is inaccurate and made up to whatever number they want it to be at, and they’re hospitality of customer service is beyond some of the worse that I’ve ever came across. No professionalism at this counties office whatsoever.

A complete joke! Can never get a call back! Spoke to a supervisor on the phone they stated they released payments they been holding for over a year to me a month and a half ago. Still no child support, now they’re stating that they are not going to give me my child support. Amazing when my ex-husband owes me over $30,000 back child support. They do nothing to help and are completely worthless I could collect faster than they could.

These people dont help fathers out for anything! Ive called, updated them with where the mother is working and they dont enforce anything. 22 years and still nothing! Its funny, mt child support for my daughter, I was 5 weeks behind and they sent me a letter that I was going to loose my license. 5 weeks behind! I get threatened, 22 years behind and a woman gets nothing! And she drives for a living. Ive asked at least 20 times for a case manager to call me, and never a call back. Anyone have suggestions if I can go a different route that doesnt ennvolve this place, its a joke!

This is for both parents, read all the comments before you go to this agency, both from fathers and mothers, they are useless. I have been dealing with this agency for 13 years now. They kept charging me at the same rate even though I made half of what I used to make and even though they had a court order signed by a judge telling them they had to reduce the mount being garnished. I had to pay the arrears even though I didnt owe it. 2 years ago got a lawyer and again they have a court order which they dont follow. they dont return my calls, still fighting for them to give me a letter stating that I dont owe anything. I they dont care about court orders even straight from a judge. I wish there was a way to run these people out of business.

They try to railroad men to claim kids that are not theirs. child support should be abolished in all 50 states, supposedly they send paperwork for appointments and court dates and you never get the paperwork and they could care less.

Due to COVID-19, I tried to give benefit of the doubt. I was given the run around, misleading information. Its already a stressful situation to be in as is. Not very efficient or effective.

They dont care about the Fathers who will do for there kids i dont get updated on receipts,its so difficult to talk with someone and make a appointment,i understand kids need financial support and it should be but if you miss a payment they want to report to the DMV this hurting and and my kids because i need money when they visit me on the weekend

Terrible organization. There is never any continuity from one person to the next. I don’t know how many times I’ve called and heard “I was just assigned to your case.” Had a change in custody of my son as was supposed to have my child support payments held until after the court date. I call only to be told “your old case manager never informed me of a need to hold payments.” So they’ve paying someone with my money who no longer even has our child. Just pitiful!

Filed for child support 10 months ago. They still have not served my sons father. Has made one attempt to serve him and thats it. They dont return calls or keep me updated.. Everytime i call i hear the same thing. They are waiting on a verification of address.. Months go by and its the same thing. What exactly are these people getting paid for?

My daughters mother took off on me and they just started garnishing my checks without knowing the situation. I now have custody of my daughter and i tried to explain to the lady in charge of my case she continued to harass me for money even when my daughter is in my custody. Now i cant get ahold of them and they are still garnishing my checks.. THE MOST HORRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE IN EXISTENCE

Child support is paid faithfully on time every month. The minute you have questions or need updates They don’t respond or treat you with disrespect. Please get a new staff or remind them of what their job is because at this point no one we have reached out to is doing it.

Very disorganized. Ive called in and got different information every time I call. This is a department of social justice warriors looking to hurt people not help. Abolish child support. Its the parents responsibility to take care of the child not be extorted by a crazy ex with a system that allows it.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, the CASEWORKERS are inept lacking any professionalism. They do not know their job duties and do not follow their own processes.The lack of accountability and documentation is scary, and this only affects the children they are supposedly attempting to assist. I have watched my daughter go back and forth to the office for over a year and the child support order still has not been established, and when she called today they stated she needed to establish paternity!!! Which was already established in January and they had already stated what the payment was suppose to be in February. This is so unfortunate for young women and men that the so called support to receive the payments from the absent parent are met with so many obstacles.

This place is a laughing stock. I havent received a check in 2 years, the balance exceeds 19,000 and they still wont file for contempt. They have a national database to scan the other partys social and still ask me where he is living or if he is working. Im able to track him down faster than this office.

My x owes me over 120,000 and his stimulus check was intercepted and deposited in to some unknown acct. Now lets see, he was supposed to get 1200.00, 1% of what he owes and then i find out it went into someone elses account??? I call and keep getting nowhere.👎

My experience with Mr. Clopton was part of a child support modification filed on my behalf. Mr. Clopton was appointed by child support services to be representation for both myself and the responding party. Due to COVID-19 my hearing was to be via telephone (I filed long before COVID). During this hearing I found Mr. Clopton to be extremely unprofessional and rude from beginning to end. I was requesting an increase due to significant changes on both myself, and the responding parties ends. I submitted all paperwork needed including paystubs to prove my income, as well as ledgers from payments made on my end over a course of 3 years. I got the impression Mr. Clopton became one sided (only representing the respondent) within the first 5 minutes of the hearing. The respondent claimed to be making “substantially less” currently due to COVID-19 and Mr. Clopton decided to “take his word for it” instead of requesting proof of said income which I believe was required. The respondent also made claims of “better medical insurance“ (than the insurance I have been providing since birth) that he allegedly carried for our child (although he has no contact with the child). Mr. Clopton gave him credit for this alleged insurance when come to find after the hearing, was solely dental and was only active from 4/2019-12/2019 (the hearing took place 6/2020). Mr. Clopton again “took his word for it” that he did in fact carry said insurance with absolutely no proof. All the while during the phone call I remained respectful and did not speak out of turn. The respondent however, repeatedly spoke out of turn claiming he doesn’t see his son due to my want for more child support (I could have filed a modification years ago). However, when submitting the requested paperwork on my end, I included the court documents showing the respondent was charged with child abuse (our child being the victim) as well as possession of a controlled substance. Since this hearing in June 2020, the respondent has been arrested for DUI, possession of a controlled substance, and motor vehicle theft over $20,000 and lost his job that provided the alleged insurance that Mr. Clopton gave him credit for. They probably shouldn’t have took his word for it... Either way that was nor the time or place for the respondent to discuss child custody issues which was my response to him due to the Magistrate and Mr. Clopton not redirecting the respondent back to the topic at hand (I think it should have been pretty clear at this point why my child does not go with the respondent). After that accusation was made by the respondent, Mr. Clopton became extremely disrespectful to me. Making rude statements repeatedly. At the time of the hearing I was laid off TEMPORARILY due to COVID-19 and was receiving unemployment. My place of employment was in the process of slowing re-opening. The daycare my child regularly has attended for years was running low on spots for the summer program so although not yet back to work (I started a week later) I enrolled my child in the program to guarantee his spot so when necessary, I could resume work as normal. Upon finding this information out, Mr. Clopton proceeded to ask me if it was in fact true the my child goes to daycare all day while I quote “sit at home all day”. (for 2 weeks while my job reopened which I shouldn’t have had to justify myself to Mr. Clopton). I stated that I had to enroll him to ensure I could return to work as normal when needed. In response to this, Mr. Clopton made the decision not to give me credit for the 3 years I have paid the daycare costs while working consistently at the same job with his reason being my child was at daycare for 2 weeks in the summer program while I awaited my job reopening. I submitted payment ledgers of all costs paid over a 3 year span including medical, dental, and daycare. All payments made by me were disregarded by Mr. Clopton and I received no credit. My monthly child support amount when down as well. Child support services has yet to rectify the situation.

If I could rate this zero or negative stars, I would. I have been trying to close my case with them for over a year. I have signed numerous affidavits, provided extensive proof that Im receiving my support directly, and sent multiple letters to request the closure of my case. First they had a ghost case for one of my children, and then they just refuse to comply with my requests. Today was the last straw, as they suspended my husbands CDL license, which is our main source of income, for failure to pay, even though I have made extensive efforts to stop that from happening. Their services are a joke!

If there was an option for zero stars I would certainly give that as a review. I have full custody of my children with a court order for child support even with a court order I still get nothing from this place. When I call them they tell me they are doing everything they can, not really sure what that. I have provided them a phone number and address for the other party, My wife called the place of business to confirm she works there and was able to get confirmation of their employment. Yet, when I call them they tell me it’s not a valid place of employment for her. What exactly do these folks do? This place is awful and put absolutely no effort in helping the parent. If you work with this place don’t expect to get any help or resolution. They’ll tell you “I’ll send this to your case manager” and you’ll never get a callback. You have to constantly call them to get no results. Wouldn’t expect any less from lazy employees at a government entity

Most useless government department Ive ever had to deal with. Irresponsible, horrible customer service, and constant misinformation. You can never get past the girl with the attitude, Tremaine. Ive asked MULTIPLE times to speak with my caseworker of the month. Ive emailed, left voicemails, kept calling. Nothing works. Theyre completely useless and a waste of time.

One of the biggest wastes of my time and resources that Ive ever encountered. Would have been better off not filing. Case workers are rude when you ask for updates after no communication for months and treat you like its somehow YOUR fault that your ex is absent (hello, I BEEN here taking care of this child). Would give zero stars if I could.I also find it ironic that I couldnt get an update for months but I got a letter confirming I cancelled the case literally 36 hours after sending the email. This agency is a joke.

This office does a great job! Im the custodial parent on my case and I appreciate the effort they put into my case, although I do not know the enforcement that is being done I trust that they are doing their job. When I call in to check about my case phone reps are friendly and the case managers that Ive had are all respectable and give accurate information.

My problem is with the way the system works. I have 50/50 custody of my son down to the hour and still have to pay. I was late on a payment and they took my license away over $108. I paid everything and I still cant get my license back until they see 3 months of payments. How does this help? Im a single dad raising 4 kids.

This child support office is extremely lazy, If you don’t call and check up on your case you will get nowhere. I never receive updates on my case even though I would be told when my case gets updated. I understand they deal with many many cases but it seems like there is no effort too help move cases along and that your stuck in this limbo if you’re not calling or going in regularly.

I guess if you need a safe haven to not pay child support CO is the state to move to. When you live in a different state they are terrible at resolving issues.

Office is very helpful one thing is for sure do not depend on the money, it can stop at any time. For those of you that are depending on the support i suggest you get a JOB! A lot of these reviews are pointless if you are that unhappy with this office why dont you close your case or pursue without this office! May be the worst run government agency we have. Have had full custody for two and a half years now. Applied last December for support. The other party has dodged them ever since. They finally scheduled a hearing in September for November. Don’t care one bit that she hasn’t responded or turned in her financials and then made a temporary order only dating back to when they got off there asses in September and decided to set the hearing. I know it’s only because I’m a male. If the roles were reversed, I’d probably be in prison by now. But since she’s a princess, she doesn’t have to support her child.

Sorry parents, I believe that each and every Child Support Office has theyre problems. I have been doing Interstate Child Support cases in Guam and retired in 2017. If I recall I dont remember having problems with Colorado State especially El Paso County. I know the concept of child support is Kids First at it will remain that way, but this profession isnt as easy as it sounds. I wont say have patience, that will piss many individuals off but thats what it takes. Those cases where the non-custodial parent is paying his dues and support his child(ren) I applaud you and to the child support offices that are understaffed and continue to manage your cases that best you can, I applaud you, good luck to everyone .

I wish I could give negative stars it would be a negative 5. My sons mother and i have been trying to get support negated for A WHOLE YEAR. We no longer have daycare cost due to the fact hes started school full time. None of these incompetent people know what theyre doing or how to do their jobs they continue to send me in circles of who i need to talk to and no one has any knowledge of the subject. I have sent multiple checks to pay the balance i owe even though we are trying to get it negated and only partials go through toward my balance if even any at all. They then say i still owe money. They now are garnishing my wages at work after Ive continually told them Ill write a check for the balance. DO NOT USE THIS ORGANIZATION!!!! They will cause nothing but headaches and more family pain and trauma than anything. Im extremely disappointed with this organization. THEY DO NOT HELP FAMILIES!!!!

Theres usually never been a long wait. Its pretty easy to find. Staff is nice. My only issue is finding parking. As well, they used to validate parking structure tickets but it didnt seem like that anymore and I didnt ask. I was told last time, and between visits, finding parking, and wanting to be done, I just didnt feel the need to ask.

Once you figure out how they work, its easy. Everyone is so nice and helpful.

I have two cases with this company. One that am being paid and the other I am paying. They are not for the children and if you go to court and ask to see the judge they try to rip you off by changing how many days you spend with your kids. The judge let my ex-husband become a carrier college student so even that I have both children, one full time and the other he has on the weekend. I have to pay him. On the case I am being paid he has not made a payment in years. Goes to court every three months and still doesn’t pay. They do nothing. Also trying to call them... you will wait for at least 15 min before they answer.

Id give this department -5 stars if I could. Poor customer service, unjust decision making, negative life altering actions for all parties involved. Moms, Dads: If you can make it work without going through the Colorado Child Support Services DO IT because your lives will both be an absolute nightmare otherwise.

I have been dealing with this office for a couple years now and it has been a never ending frustration. They are not consistent with the information they provide and are blatantly for the mothers benefit and not fathers. My case is too long and complicated to describe but let me just summarize that they unfairly began garnishing wages when current court orders specifically stated that no child support was due. The mother in this case was flat out lying about a lot of things but they still helped her and appeared in court along side her. But then when this same mother abandons the child and the father now has the kid full time he then turns to this office for help modifying the support order but is then told sorry sir, we cant help you. Even after having this child full time for nearly 6 months he is still excepted to pay the mother until the orders are modified which could take up to another year. It has been an utter nightmare having to deal with them. Its insane how they get away with what they do.

Being the paying person and dealing with them is not easy. They claimed I owed over $40,000 with no documents to back it up, changed the amount taken from my pay over three different times. They have a copy of the court order that shows exactly what to take out. I cannot believe that they can mess up a persons pay so MUCH!

My case has been active for seven years. Startup was a nightmare. The other parent is in another state and initially we had to get both states to work together to start payroll deductions on the other parent. Then, he moved to ANOTHER state. I went six months without any payment and we already had a significant amount in back payments due. I called several times, telling the office that he had moved, according to mutual friends. The office stated that they couldnt find him. I had to use my OWN MONEY to use a locator service to find the other parent. After doing so, I informed the child support office. Within three weeks, I was receiving payments again. This is incredibly frustrating. They have the resources to find people, but they WONT DO IT!!!! You have to take your case in to your own hands and do your own due diligence. Now, were at $20k past due and what are they doing? Nothing. I have a special needs child who requires 24 hour supervision and I DEPEND ON MY CHILD SUPPORT. Do they care? Not a bit. Ive seen my case manager change at least 10 times in seven years and I never speak with my actual case manager. They are useless.

Case transfer was actually expedited by Kentucky I love them & miss all their help and support. Colorado Springs not so much. Did a friendly face to face w/ Colorado Springs, packet returned and again another appointment and never heard from my case worker, not even so much as a letter. Large case load, I understand but I gave you all the information and so did Kentucky and still no reply call or letter. Yall need to get it together. Only helpful section is payment and basic customer service. Case management --yall need an overhaul on basic follow up. I know its a hard job your doing but a basic follow up or reply post card to make it seem like you care and are working the case does wonders. Please contact Kentucky and learn from them.To the person(s) who responded to those of us commenting on the dissatisfaction of attempted use of the CSE: You suggested that we obtain a lawyer, duly noted and thank you; however if all of those who posted of bad service or no service rendered file a Class Action Lawsuit --maybe it will be a wake up call and there will be vacant positions for rehiring. That would be helpful to put those in place to render the proper services needed. Until then maybe someone from the CSE should be reading through these comments to try and fix the problem. If most could afford lawyers I believe your department & job security would be at risk. There should be a Q&A department to monitor your case load. Colorado Springs is growing and your pace, personnel and procedures are not keeping up. The smart thing to do would be to read through these complaints and fix the problem and not add smart@$$ comments to add to it. Thank you and have a good day.

Its 2019 and I am the father of my two children who are now 17 and 18. Their mother abandoned us in 2006. I sought and enlisted the elpaso county child support office in 2010 to help find and hold her financially responsible. She lives in Texas and Ive provided her address, ss#, ect. However to no avail. Theyve claimed to have made the attempt to serve her papers but cant locate her. My childrens mother to this day remains a deadbeat and no one is helping:(

They refuse to send information to caseworkers when you tell them about the ncp income. They refuse to tell supervisors you want a call back. They do not go after the full amount owed and just repeatedly say enforcement is taking place when it never happens. Id love to see custodial parents start a lawsuit against this place for refusing to follow the law in collection of child support.

Yelling and screaming will never resolve... case managers are willing to assist. Absolutely the worst handing of child support issues. Workers at this facility LIE all day. Todd Lyon is very rude and condescending. Brandy Hagger is over whelmed and unorganized. You are told you will get a call back and never do. Because of the neglance and lack in this office unnecessary court time and paperwork had to be done to resolve my issue. Hire more help or split the case loads or something. Also train your office staff more consistently. You get a different answer and procedure each time you call. For example one agent may transfer you to a voicemail, another may tell you an extension, another may tell you to wait, while another may tell you to email only. I cant wait to be done with this office and child support. What a joke.

Wont enforce court orders and treat single moms like criminals. Rude and a waste of time. Go to court yourself - youll be better off. They released my info to my abusive ex and my life is hell again being verbally abused and still have no help.

Ive read the reviews and all the complaints that go with them. The El Paso County Child Support is an office of people working diligently to get monies due to the parent it is owed to. Perhaps, if youre not pleased with their results, you should hire an attorney and pay his or her fees.

Wont return calls, mails payments back because theyre early and sends letters threatening your license over amounts that are not owed. Biggest reason why there is problems collecting and paying child support in Colo Spgs is because of sorry ass offices like this. I have no problem paying what I owe for my son but I have a big problem with them sending the money all over the place and not getting it to my son where it should be. Dont get tangled up with these goons or you will regret it!

After a year of everything being settled and the lawyer i had sending them several notifications that they were no longer my attorney, i still get the same crap about me having an attorney on my case and they cant talk to me. I even hand delivered one of them to my case manager and it still wasnt put into my file. After spending 10 minutes on the phone telling the lady how useless they are, i finally told her they need to learn how to do their job properly and hung up. Trying to ge my child support stopped cause i have 50/50 custody is the best thing i have ever done.

This office should be investigated for fraud. They have taken my licenses multiple times while making payments, had me fired twice by harassing my employers, threatened jail and they still refuse to let me talk to my case worker. I have tried everything in my power to get help and can find none.

If you have time to waste and you don’t mind waiting 6 or more months for your case to be put together and child support to be initiated then go here. I have never experienced such a slow process for a child. And they are so lenient with back child support owed. If a person can’t pay back arrears they can make payments. Like really. Its time to organize, rally and protest outside their facility to draw MEDIA attention and place pressure on our elected officials. Not in the BEST INTEREST OF CHILDREN! These blood suckers and their team of unscrupulous lawyers are the worst of the scum of the earth. They make every effort to over charge families and fathers to the point they cant make the payments and lose everything they have ever worked for including drivers license, their home and their job. They got my case wrong and assumed I was making $2500 more than what I really make as a disabled veteran. And mom makes three times as much as me, but the custody courts in the 4th Judicial District backs up their enslavement agenda.

Absolutely awful agency. I have a case and have received 11.00 for 2 children over the last year and not much more than that the years prior. NOTHING has been done aside from suspension of his licience a few months ago. When I call to see what the status is Im treated horribly. Im told in so many words that Im lying, that their hands are tied, that they cant give me info on my own case among other excuses. They have even refused to let me speak with my case worker. I have all but given up on ever receiving any help from them I dont think that there is much else I can personally do to get them to do their jobs. Im not sure what their purpose is because enforcing child support is the last thing Im seeing them do. After several months of phone calls I finally received a small portion of the back support or should I say they recieved it. Its been well over a month and still no money has been dispersed to us. As usual every time I call its a different reason as to why. At first it was processing, then it was they didnt know why suddenly it was because my ex was refusing to provide documents then by some miracle the very same day he provided them. This is by far the most worthless child support office ever they are making me pay child support when my kid lives with me and has for his whole life they didnt even investigate the situation they also seized 5000 from my taxes and told me it would take 6-8 MONTHS before the funds would be available. They completely suck.

No communication with other counties and states that 2 orders for the same child is created and my ex even states he isnt receiving the money! Robbed me of my license and my hard earn money....I have other children in my care I am responsible for! They are taking from them and making them suffer!

Would have given a 0 star rating had it been an option! Receptionist I spoke with was so unbelievably rude, while trying to explain my situation as there was a fault on THEIR end of things, she cut me off and rudely stated that my case is being handled and basically she doesnt need to hear what Im trying to explain. Then she tells me while in the middle of a sentence to hold on as she felt the need to speak before me! They somehow lost ny files and were never tou touched so now have been waiting 5 months and have to wait another 30-60 days because of their mistake!!

Gross incompetence doesnt even begin to define the level of buffoonery involved with dealing with these morons. These people are self centered zealots who are vengeful, unprofessional, rude and apparently intellectually deficent, not fit to pour pee from a boot with the instructions written under the heel. They dont care about the children or the struggling single parents at all! They are full of S*** when they say they care! But I bet if I owed them money theyd be all over my ass for it! WORTHLESS! Im a single dad with full custody, because my ex-wife is in prison. My kids and I are struggling financially, so we qualified for Colorados Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP). Next thing I know, Im getting hit with 26 PAGES of things that Child Support Services is demanding, lest our CCCAP benefits be withdrawn. The questions are incredibly invasive, for example: I had sexual intercourse with the following individual(s) during the 90 days of the childs conception. REALLY?!! And for what? The ex-wife in prison wont be paying anything to us anytime soon. But Child Support Enforcement doesnt care - Ive been on hold for more than an hour, and they hang up on me the second they get the call. Look, Im doing the best I can to raise my kids as a single father. And here THEY are, threatening their child care benefits, & refusing to even listen to the facts. Dealing with DHS Child Support Services has been an absolute NIGHTMARE!!!!

I wish I could give negatives star!! They threat non custodial parents for restricting their passports so they cant travel even though is a emergency leave. I have to pay half of the arrears before Im able to go home for my brothers death. They give me a harrrddd time and it almost killed me, theyre heartless. They will never help you unless you give them money, even though you showed them that you only work part time dont make enough money and has a prove that your paying your ex directly , they dont even took actions to punish my ex for receiving money from me and from them. I was broke all the time. And I cant even talk to my kids regularly because my ex alienates me that I never existed. But who cares right?! This the government we living now. It sucks! But what can we do? System is all Fu** ed up. And not but not the least I even tried to get a loan so I can pay all the arrears but child support debt killed my credit score and Im close to bankruptcy, thanks to all of you. And Ive tried to get help to army Emergency loans thank god they help me even though is not the amount I needed but atleast it helps. And not to mention me back and forth driving 40mins away just to meet up with army emergency representative. And plus my ex didnt even let me know that he will go and open a case to this heartless ridiculous child enforcement no one contact me or letting me know that my ex open a case with them *smh once again thank you! I hope gods makes everything right. It so unfair on everything that happens in court family is so corrupt even the child support enforcement. They dont even know the story behind everything but who cares. Hopefully someone would read this and never ever go to through what I went through.

Worst third party agency ever. I have had custody of my children for over 2 years and half years. I sent the information I had about the new court case and they said a decision from their legal department was in progress and 6 months later, I get a letter that they are sending the information to my credit bureau. Incompetent is the only word I have for them.

This is the worst place ever . They are rude, are liars and I think practice under very illegal circumstances. They refuse to send me a full statement of what I owe and my payments. They have made false claims about the law and what is due. My son is 18 and graduated high school yet they still say I owe. huh? Also, every time I call the amount changes and no one will send me the details. One more try and I am suing them in court. This place is a scam artists dream !!!

Horrible experience trying to get this agency to collect support. I literally had to call and give them my ex-husbands work information. Took me less than five minutes to locate yet this agency couldnt find it! Meanwhile arears are almost ten grand now

Horrible organization I volunteered to use child support services because I did not want to have to be responsible for sending my x a payment. They set up wage garnishment and enforced it like I was an unwilling participant. I informed them of job changes and no matter what happened any time a garnered payment was not made they hit my credit report. The most abusive part was that when they would inform me of being in arrearage, I would send them a payment and they would return it. Then they always hit me with a 30 day late on my credit report and adjusted my payment to collect the deficit. The last one was the worst my company sent out a notice that 27th pay period and did not send the garnishment payment to child support services. I contacted them and sent the 1000 bucks. They sent it back, added a thirty day late, increased my deduction to 1219 bucks and sent me a refund for each period they took the overage. Finally the added insult to injury my youngest turned 19 in May but garnishment continues in June, with a refund about two weeks after it is collected.

The biggest nightmare/mistake one can make is have a child in the State of Colorado - no real supportive laws for children. Companies like this are evil incarnate... Have never once helped my child, only aids Dead Beat Dad

Horribly incompetent. Took my exs word for it that I was in arrears, which I was not and would have taken minimal effort to confirm. Treated me like a criminal from that day forward. What a ridiculous effort and agency!. The bureaucracy is incredible.

So i changed employers, started new job on 04/06/15, called my case manager to inform, they took my tax money which im ok with because i was behind due to the transistion. Made payments besides the involuntary one continuously since ive started my job, it is now august and i now found out they got my license suspended even though i was communicating with them and complying with them. There has to be something that can be done. They work hard to get the people punished who comply and communicate to them, and by the previous comments they seem to not give a damn about people who dont comply.

They are right you are wrong, get used to it. If they take too much its up to you to file a civil suit to get it back. Plus get used to getting a new case worker every other month. I am very dissatisfied with the services theyve provided. First, calling the office, no matter the time of day, will result in you being on hold for a minimum of 15 minutes. Also, the call center representatives like to answer the phone after youve been holding for a while, and then they place you right back on hold. Currently, as I am tryping this, I have been holding for 22 minutes.Second, I always call when I have information to report (a new addres for NCP, new employer information for NCP, etc.). I have found that the information I give to them is entered into my file incorrectly. In an attempt to erase the middle man (which seems to be where the problems begin), lately when I call, Ive been asking to have my case worker call me so that I can relay the information directly to him/her. I asked for him/her to call me on a specific phone number (which I gave, naturally) because the listed number does not work in my place of employment. The case workers have two business days to get back to you. So, what happens? He/she calls me back on the number I asked them NOT to call me on during the business day and I miss the call. So, I called again and asked AGAIN for my case worker to call me on the requested phone number. Again, I had to wait two days for him/her to call me back and they, of course, called during what is commonly known as a lunch hour. Did they attempt to try and reach me again that day? Absolutely not. Not only do you have to wait two days for them to return a call to you, but on that second day, you are expected to sit by your phone the entire day because one attempt to reach you is all they will give. My current phone wait time is now at 28 minutes and I had to start from the initial call menu because someone answered the phone and put me back on hold immediately.The third issue I have with this office is that, each time I speak to a representative, they always say Please dont forget that you have the option to obtain your own legal counsel if you prefer. Basically, this is a reminder that if you are unahppy with their lack of assistance, you can pay for it out of pocket. I wish they would realize that most single parents would require a second source of income in order to obtain legal counsel, but also that if we were actually receiving what we are entitled to, we wouldnt NEED legal counsel. So, the frequent reminder is absolutely unnecessary. Trust me, if the funds were free flowing, I woud gladly get help elsewhere, but I am stuck and at the mercy of this useless office. Honestly, there would be such an improvement in customer service AND satisfaction if these people would pretend, for the sake of our kids, that they, PERSONALLY, are owed the monies they are trying to collect. If someone owed you thousands upon thousands of dollars, youd be on top of their every move, right? Better yet, make the consequences/punishments harder for those parents who CHOOSE not to pay and perhaps youd have less deadbeats....BTW, my call has finally been answered after 34 minutes of hold time.

This organization has made nine major mistakes that resulted in them reimbursing me a balance back which impacted my mortgage and life due to THIER MISTAKES. Plus trying to talk to my case manager is impossible, I never received any call/solution back. My attorney has told me that roughly 38 of his clients requested to sue this organization for incompetence and negligence. when will these idiots be held liable?

Ruining lives one case at a time. They have the power to garnish you, withhold taxes, suspend passports, etc. But no one seems to have any power to fix anything. Dealing with this office makes you want rip your face off. Feel so bad for the dads whose exs lie about CS and they refuse to help even after you provide proof of payment your told the proof cant be accepted.

5 times a fax was sent to this office to allow me to speak with them. Every time Im told sorry we do not have the permission on file. This unit has stolen $4000.00 from me without explanation for a case in appeal. Now they are reporting I am in arrears while still sending checks back for over payment. Laughable Joke doesnt even begin to describe how terrible this office operates.
