This place was very efficient, and they fit me in even while they were very busy. They let my nails sit and soak while they were doing other stuff. Communication was a bit tough, and I pride myself in understanding multicultural accents, but for some reason I had a hard time understanding the employees here. However they tried their best and made sure I understood before moving forward.I did have to go home and take care of some acrylic that was stuck under my nails and around my nails, which I think should’ve been looked at before letting me leave. But I also didn’t point it out so maybe that was my fault. Either way the shape and color is gorgeous!

The nicest nail place Ive ever been to. The people, the prices, and the service were all above and beyond amazing. The place was spotless too. I called them at 11:30 and they were able to get us in by 1:30. This is my nail place from here on out.

I came in during my visit with my sister in law. I am from NY ( yes, tested for COVID and was negative) and my nails were a wreck from a salon back in my home state. I was going to just fill them as they are acrylics. Leann took one look and it was decided the old needed to be removed and new ones applied. My appt wasnt for that, yet they took the time to do all that was necessary without complaint! John finished them.The job that was done was absolutely great and very professional! Thank you again for rescuing my nails! I pray you are blessed with great business success. If you treat all your customers as well as I was, you will always have loyal customers!

Went in to have a fill done and it costed more then it would to have a full set done! $65 dollars and he was rude! He pushes your hand away every time when he is done and gets mad if you don’t position your hand just right! Do not go here and waste your money, no one should be charged that much for a fill!! Very disappointed and WILL NOT RETURN!!

I had my full set taken off. The man doing my nails was very rough. He even cut one of my natural nails so short it was bleeding, also burned me with the electric file. I wasn’t even offered a discount let alone an apology.They charge so much and up-charge for everything that other salons do not.

Employees were professional and friendly. I got a set of nails, I was pleased with the quality and color. But I specified a coffin shape and short length of nail and got long and square. I even tried correcting them and they didn’t fix it. Will go back but will feel the need to be extra assertive in what I am paying to have.

They are friendly, fun, and really care. My absolute favorite place to have my nails done. I live 2 hours away but wait till I visit family just so I can come here. There new salon is inviting and clean. They have installed special exhaust fans (the only ones in C. Springs) at each station to keep odors down.

I will start off saying John does a great job with nails. It’s a very clean shop. I read the comments. I don’t think they are friendly. I think they are very abrupt to the point of rudeness. They also mutter under their breath in sone Asian language. I called in the morning to get an appointment, left my name, told to be there at 3:30. I show up at 3:25, give my name, several times. I got the feeling I they didn’t have me down for an appointment. This time I chose a sparkly polish, it cost me $50 to get a fill. That’s about $10-15 for than last time. Nothing was said about up-charging and when I argued about it John’s wife just laughed and treated me like I was an idiot for asking. I won’t be back.

I debated about leaving a review, but after I saw the charge on my credit card, it upsets me now that we left a 30 dollar tip. Nails and feet came out great! I had been needing to get my toes done because I had fallen and broken my ribs and knee cap. But they do talk bad about customers amongst themselves while you sit there. I know the language, and I should have said something but I didnt. I was on a girls day with my sons best friend and his girlfriend to celebrate my son graduating Basic. Halfway through our session, they turned off the air conditioning, and we were suffocating with our masks on.I hope they understand that even if we might look different, that some of us might have a higher education which included learning different languages.they should understand this before they speak out of turn.I will give 2stars for the service, but no stars for their unprofessional comments between them.

I tried them one other time and they did a good job but went again last week for a manicure pedicure and they rushed through the service. Horrible manicure did not properly do my cuticles and asked for the deluxe and felt it was not as good as they could have done. This was a Monday and they were not busy. The lady at the desk did the trimmings but other ladies did the cleaning, scrub and lotion. Was very disappointed and will not go there again. Still searching for a good nail salon in this city.

I first tried 5 Star Nails with my sister on a spur-of-the-moment decision. I subsequently booked my entire bridal party here for my wedding (in 2017). Since then, Ive tried to find other places closer to my house, but their service is unmatched, their cleanliness is top notch, and theyre just great at what they do!

Had a 1:30 appt. Only wanted a gel nail polish change. After sitting there for 20 minutes someone took off my polish...waited another 15 minutes for next step. Than she left me sitting again. Finally someone finished the gel polish! Felt rushed the entire time. I told her how rush and stressed she made me feel and she acted like she didnt understand me?? Really?

Im from out of town and just googled walk in pedicure places. Got the deluxe pedicure and it was awesome! Very friendly staff! If I lived in town this would he my nail place! Affordable pricing too!

My friend and I booked a last minute manicure and pedicure to salvage our girls day. They had everything ready when we arrived ten minutes later. The service was impeccable. The employees were accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend the nail salon to others.

Lovely people. But was disappointed that they didnt do anything to tidy cuticle area, my usual salon always pushes the cuticle back before applying polish so consequently the polish didnt cover the whole nail and has not lasted long at all, I can usually go two - three weeks between visits but I needed to have it re done after a week.

I am always so happy with my nails, and just the over all experience. John and his wife are extremely nice, their customer service is top notch, they each greet me by name. The shop is very clean, organized, and professional, on top of those qualities it is also still warm and inviting. I would recommend their services to anyone!!!! Keep up the great work, Im so happy I found them!!!

Five star nails is the place to go when you need a manicure and pedicure. There leg massage and hot towel wrap was so perfect. I got gel polish and I have never been happier about my nails until now. I highly recommend going there they are all so friendly and they know what their doing.

I usually always give someone a chance to redeem themselves...but not here. I went to get a fill on my nails because I had engagment photos the next day. They rushed. Simply that. They were in such a hurry my skin was constantly getting hit by the tools. It hurts. And made for bad photos. Although the place looked nice and the staff was friendly, I would rather them send me away saying they didnt have time, then rush through a painful experience.

These guys are the best. Pricing is fair, gel lasts me 3 weeks instead of 2, and they have great color selection. The wait is worth it.

I called just out of curiousity and they were able to get me in literally right away. John was so nice and he did an absolutely amazing job in less than 45 minutes! They made sure each client was taken care of and happy, which I appreciated very much. Ill definitely be back

I have tried many different nails salons, compared to that places this salon is not bad. I am not saying it’s fantastic,but it is ok. Specially John if you looking for acrylic nails hi is one of the best in town believe me.

Not even a full two weeks and three of my nails have popped off. They weren’t painted all the way and they weren’t shaped the way I wanted them. My thumb nail is shorter than all of my other nails and it was just a bad experience. I know I got there right when they opened and he had other appointments. But they weren’t until 2:30. I felt rushed and didn’t get the attention I should have. Won’t be going back to get my fill!

I went here because of the great reviews that I read. I got the basic manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was great, however the manicure was essentially a polish change. She cut my nails, trimmed my cuticles and thats it. No hand massage (like the description said), no dead skin removal around the tops of the nail, nothing. And several of my nails are crooked. Unfortunately I wont be going back here.

Went in to get my gel manicure redone. This one lasted 4 weeks before it started to peel or chip. To say Im impressed is an understatement. Wonderful staff as well. Im from out of town and will make it a point to come back here if Im in town

On 2/23 my daughter arranged a 230 appointment for us to have a manicure & pedicure. When we arrived we noticed only three workers and it was a rushed experience from the moment we walked in the door. For $75 each the experience should have been more than a rushed through hurry up atmosphere. they could not keep up with the volume of people walking through the door wanting a same day appointment & the customers already scheduled. Lesson learn when short in staff turn around 👎🏼 Quality becomes lacked.

Wonderful , professional staff here. They are kind and patient and want a happy customer. We always do our best . Very pleased with my manicure and pedicure and all 3 of the hard working people that pampered me. This is the place to go!

I got my nails done while on my lunch break, I told John when I needed to be back and he moved to get me done. He even made time to double check that they were perfectly smooth. That was 3 weeks ago and they still havent lifted! (I know I need to go in and get them fixed) - Im going to get them done before my vacation and am so excited!

This is such a great place. My new years resolution was to stop biting my nails and Jon and AnnLe have been so helpful. Not only is the outcome always what I want, but the customer service is outstanding. They make sure that you are happy and comfortable throughout the entire experience. Jon usually does my fill and he pays such attention to detail. Hes even told me what vitamins will help with nail growth! Ive gotten my nails done at a couple of other places in town and no where else compares. I refuse to go anywhere else now.NOTE: They are always busy and it is best to make an appointment the day before.

When John does my acrylics it is unrealistic. Its quick easy and beautiful. John makes a great shape and color. Also, if you wanna get it cheaper just go buy your own polish. People complain they get charged for polish but duh! Its expensive for them to replace! Anywho though, adore John!

I have been to VIP nails before and the service was fine. Last night I stopped in for a pedicure and service has changed drastically.Would never call someone out if I didnt feel it necessary. I basically spent $40.00 to have my toenails painted. I chose the basic pedicure because its what I could afford. I wasnt offered water. And I was told if the gentleman at my feet was speaking to me, he would have done it in English. Insulting and absolutely nothing for my $40.00 but getting my nails painted. Will not be back.

This is the only place I get my pedicures. I spend the majority of my waking hours in steel toe boots. I do a lot of climbing and kicking metal equipment among other torturous things with my feet and basically beat my pedis up. These guys do a great job and the work lasts through all of my attempts to destroy it. Everybody here is very friendly, they ask if everything is ok at every step, and it always looks great. No point in getting a manicure with my job, but I got a gel mani for my daughter recently and it was great, as expected.

I have been going to 5 Star Nails and Spa every 5 or 6 weeks for over a year. LeAnn, Lisa and Kim who I have had the pleasure of meeting and I always leave with very happy feet. John who I think co-owns with LeAnn is an ardent fisherman. The Spa is alway very clean and all there are friendly and professional. It is my pleasure to recommend them highly.

Hit and miss. Great fill. Worst pedicure. The lady used icy cold water and took 35 minutes just to remove my polish. I feel like I have been here forever. I was super happy an hour and ten minutes ago when I finished my fill and moved to this pedicure seat. Now I just want to leave!!

Been going here for years, back when they were VIP nail, and spa. Before the owners were able to get a bigger space, and add techs. John always does an awesome job on my nails, he is attentive to them, knows when its time to put a new set on, and since the beginning has known exactly how I like them. Made a mistake a few times not booking an appointment knowing how many regulars he serves, and walk-ins he tries to service. Only one place was able to come close, but the nails were messed up after 2 weeks, coming off my real nail, and chipping. Whatever John uses works great because my gel acrylics last a whole month before I need my next fill. Yes, the children are there when not at school, but they dont get in the way. They are polite, and of course interrupt like children do. The owners speak in their native tongue, but I havent been to a nail place, restaurant, gas station, whatever small business you can think of that you know is foriegn owned. These are great people, and since day one I have been treated very well.

The owners are great, very thoughtful and know what they are doing! The price you pay for the work is awesome and lasts. Had my nails and eyebrows done and was completely satisfied :) Would recommend them to anyone

Very disappointed. I was upcharged for the same exact service I received one visit prior. The owner did half the job the last technician did. I asked her to clip but she did horrible. She also rambled on in her native language the entire time in a very complaining tone. Even charged an extra dollar for polish color. I wont be back.

I would give this place a 0 stars review. I went in to get a pedi and a color change for my wedding day. The lady who did my toes was the owner i told her what i wanted even showed her a picture of what i wanted. it was a simple french tip with a color base. She didnt pay any mind to what i was telling her she just went on to cutting my toe nails extremely short without asking. She painted my toes and did what she wanted and when i told her i wasnt happy with the outcome she just ignored me and went on with another customer. She had me waiting on the chair for a while and when she finally got to me she took 5 minutes. Not only did i have to pay for a full service without being finshed because she ended up taking off the nail polish. my toe nails will also look horrible for my wedding day because she cut my nails so short to the point of pain. I do not recommend this place DO NOT GO HERE

This place should definitely change their name. WORST NAIL SALON EVER. I got a full set,pedicure and eyebrows waxed and the gentleman did a great job on my nails. The wife did a terrible job on my eyebrows and toes. She rushed through my eyebrows and did a terrible job and my toes she didnt even take 20 minutes. I wont be going back and it was my first visit...

A friend of mine and I got deluxe pdicures and shellac done here 2 days ago. John and Le Ann did a great job painting our toes (not on the skin or uneven) and our feet looked gorgeous with the pampering! I would highly suggest going here for pedicures! (I havent gotten a mani, but plan to!)

I was so excited to go here after all the good reviews BUT...The lady who did my nails was on her phone the whole time and kept getting up to text and talk to her child. She didnt even give a warning.She was also very rushed even though there were two costumers (including me) and three technicians.She did a very poor job. I know its vain, but I almost cried when I got home because they look like I painted them with my left hand.The lines are crooked, there are slashes instead of dots, and THEY CHIPPED AFTER ONE DAY.I went to a wedding and served food and 5 nails have already chipped for no reason. After two days, bubbles began to emerge through the color.Im just so disappointed, and I wish I could get my money back!

Not impressed at all! I was there for two and half hours just to get a gel mani/pedi. The pedicure was very rushed and covered my feet in oil instead of rubbing with lotion. My gel manicure was very uneven. You could see bubbles, dents, plus it started to peel after two days.
