I had the pleasure of working with Dr Kinn at Apex Audiology, Colorado Ave location. She was extremely knowledgeable about the devices and how to set them up to meet my needs. She explained the results of my tests and how the devices worked in terms that I could understand. Ive been tested by other audiologists and Dr Kinn is by far the best. I would highly recommend Dr Kinn to anyone who needs hearing help. If I could give her a 10 star rating I would.

I was experiencing some increasing work related hearing loss. I was able to get all my questions answered, they worked well with my workmans comp folks and I couldnt be more happy with my hearing aids.

Very through hearing exam. They spent over 1 1/2 hrs with me, asked questions about my work and lifestyle that might have affected my hearing, and went over possible hearing aids. They offered a demo pair to try, which I did. I tried a pair of Oticon behind the ear style. I wore them over a weekend in different situations including a Supercross motorcycle race. They were paired to my cell phone so I could adjust the sensitivity up or down, which I turned all the way down during the Supercross race, but I could still hear who I was with talking to me. Very effective. I went ahead and bought a pair and am very happy with them.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff, no wait lines, very responsive, and overall professional. I had to fill out a form about a month after my appointment and they were happy to do so without scheduling another. Very clean and welcoming, overall definitely would recommend.

Wow!! Went in with huge blockage in my ears of wax took 20 minutes and I am walking out with no wax and a smile! This was such a awesome experience! Would recommend DR.Megan to anyone who needs there ears relieved of wax! Thanks again!

Cant say enough about these guys at this location. Staff was excellent and Bill is the bomb. One of my hearing aids quit working and my previous provider retired without notice. Bill couldnt be more helpful to a guy who didnt buy his hearing aids from him. He has made my life hearable again. Only one drawback. I can hear my wife again! Thx, you guys.

My wife and I each purchased a set of hearing aides at Apex Audiology in Colorado Springs this summer. We are both very pleased with the entire process, including our hearing tests, orientation for use, and follow-up appointments. Our new hearing aides have made a vast improvement in our ability to hear and include features to substantially improve sound from our smart phones and T.V.

My elderly father was seen promptly. He is a stubborn retired fighter pilot who thought he could improve his hearing with multiple hearing devices bought on the internet. His exam was thorough documenting moderate, high frequency hearing loss and obstruction of his ear canals. His new prescription hearing aids have made a significant improvement and I am most thankful for the care provided by the staff! A+

Just got new hearing aids at the new location on Woodman. I could not be happier! Dr Herholtz fitted and programmed me with a state of the art over the ear set of Oticon hearing aids and they are amazing. I have had hearing aids before but nothing like these. I can hear in crowded rooms and even the TV for the first time in a long time. The cell phone feature is awesome too They sound so natural and I can barely tell they are in. Dr. Bill Herholtz put more effort into making sure my fit was as good as it could be than with other places Ive been to in town. I got a custom that I didnt know could be done.He checked on my insurance and found that they would pay part of the cost, when other places said that Insurance companies wont pay anything. My out of pocket cost was less than at the other place for better hearing aids.I couldnt be happier. I recommend them highly.

I have had hearing loss for years and about three years ago, I finally got hearing aids. They were the molded kind from a prominent hearing aid company. They were never satisfactory and I said many of the negative things others have said about hearing aids. Hearing in restaurants was nearly impossible. Soft voices were hard to hear even if I turned up the volume. My hearing was still declining. Even after further adjustments, I couldn’t hear well.I searched for another audiologist and found Dr. William Herholtz who owns Apex Audiology. After a thorough exam, he recommended Oticon Opn S1 hearing aids. They were behind the ear with wires going down and into the ears. The results have been extremely positive. I’ve tested them in restaurants where the noise level was high and could still hear my friends talk. I’m an avid birdwatcher and I’m stunned that I once again hear so many more birds. There are many examples I could give but I think these will suffice. I am extremely satisfied with Dr Herholtz and the hearing aids he recommended. They have given me a new lease on life.

I would like to start by saying thank you to Dr William Herholtz for His utmost honesty and Professionalism .In sharing this i hope that it may save someone else the pain that we have experienced at another hearing center .After my wifes session the clinician tried to sell her hearing aids to the amount of $7000.00 telling her that she had a 46 % hearing loss... and would benefit greatly.As is always recommended in these areas we received a second opinion from Dr.Herholtz.After the screening he was amazed and upset by this blatent mis- represented opinion of my wifes hearing loss and the abuse of his respected profession.He told us that she did not need hearing aids and that here hearing was A-ok....Thanks for being honest...DocPsWe need more people like This in the world
