Purchased a new furnace and air conditioner from Altitude Heating and Air. Excellent pricing, nice installation, and cleaned up before, during, and after the job was complete. I received several quotes, and they were by far the most reasonable, and installed a fantastic system. Our home is now comfortable year-round. I am looking forward to more projects with Altitude HVAC in the future. I have already recommended several of my neighbors and they are looking forward to working with them. After all, a neighbor recommended them to us.

Lonnie and his crew did a fantastic job installing our AC unit. Lonnie was very helpful throughout the process answering my many questions to make me feel comfortable and educated about the products and services he was providing. He and his office staff had great communication and were very friendly and easy to work with.We had a small and awkward space to work in and he and his employees did a fantastic job making everything fit and look nice and clean. They even tidied a portion of ducting that another company had done improperly when our furnace was installed a year ago. The job was done very quickly and very cleanly and as someone with OCD and who considers himself a bit of a perfectionist could not identify one thing I would have done different.I am beyond impressed and thankful to Altitude Heating and Airs communication, quality of work, timeliness and overall professionalism. We are renovating our house and the people who put up the dry wall called this company MULTIPLE times to come make the vent for our microwave, they never came. So the company put up the drywall then Altitude FINALLY came and when they came the owner threw a fit like a child screaming and cussing he even went as far as to throw things outside, he left out garage door open and our back door open, luckily someone was home so they could close the doors. This is not a professional company.

Ryan came out promptly and was the kindest person I have ever dealt with in home services arena. He was thorough and considerate, even though I know it was dirty and freezing in my crawlspace. He communicated well and even answered my sons questions with gravity and thoughtfulness. Lonny, the owner, came out as well, when a tricky but of wiring needed to be done because my house was built in 1952 and nothing ever goes in easily. Lonny was kind and helpful too. We had our entire furnace replaced and new central air conditioning installed by this company. The level of professionalism and quality of work is something you dont see very often, these days.The team was conscientious, clean (they made sure there were no messes when they left and were mindful of when they were coming in the home from outside), hardworking, and they were very customer-focused, making sure to explain what it is they had done, and how things work.Lonny and his team did such a great job and we are so happy with our new system. My boiler unit wouldnt stay lit and my 8700 sq ft building was at 58 degrees with highs of low 20s comming for next couple days. Call couple big names and they where booked out 2 days unless I wanted to pay over time prices. Altitude was able to get to me same day no extra charge. Lonny and his team installed a new furnace and ac in my place in March. I had a tight window to when it could be done because I was starting a new business. He was the only place in town that could install the day I needed, he was also the best price and had the best warranty!So when I needed my ac fixed at my house I called again. His team immediately identified a long standing problem with my system that was installed years ago, scheduled a repair (that was only a few days wait) and did an amazing job, again for a good price!I have worked in a similar industry for years, so I know this business and I can’t say enough good about Altitude Heating and Air. They have the right price, they have the right warranty and their technical knowledge and customer service is impeccable. Truely, these guys are the ones to call for service and installation.

The guy made it seem like he was inconvenienced and he was mad that my Furnace was in the crawl space. He had an attitude and was rude!!

I can’t speak to their ability to provide heating and air services. However I can attest to their complete and utter inability to drive. The person who drives the minivan with altitude heating and air stickers all over it, should not have a license. Perhaps it’s just that they were so caught up In the emotion of visiting a loved one in the El Paso County Justice Center that they forgot to stop at a stop sign. Although I can honestly say I’ve never been so emotionally compromised that I blew right through a stop sign in front of another vehicle, but that’s just me. I personally think that the way a person drives speaks a lot to their character. This person drives like they’re the only person in the world and no one else matters including their lives so definitely will not be using them.

This winter, our boiler stopped working several times. I had a young baby at home and we were without heat for several days in very cold weather. I had called two other companies out to diagnose the issue and both recommended full replacement with no hopes for a quick fix or long term repair. I trusted my gut and called one more company (the one my Blue Ribbon company recommended) and Lonny showed up. Within minutes of looking at the boiler (literally), he got it up and running again. He then said he could do some minor repairs to get us 3-5 more years out of the unit while we save for a replacement. He made a forever customer out of me!

This Family Owned business is the one we as consumers are looking for, and then want to spread the news to others like us when we find them.How can I even begin other than to say our Furnace went kaput for 5 days in very cold weather so when we decided to call an independently owned business here in town, BINGO... We instantly knew they genuinely cared from the very first phone conversation.The initial job assessment was FREE, and that told us that they simply wanted the opportunity to prove to a potential customer who they are, and how they do business. It was a big {refreshing} deal.So Lonny {THE Owner AND Service Person that is taking care of you!} came out READY to get our furnace working! It was SUCH a relief... Lonny came out and fixed our furnace the SAME day and for a Grand Total {are you ready!} for $232.00 and this is after another quote by a bigger company the day before for nearly $6,000. For anyone whos heat has been out, a same day fix was amazing, as Lonny knew the urgency of the situation, but then to see the payment... Well how can we even convey the joy we felt!Lonny also showed us how to perform the basic maintenance that we could do... He did so because he likes to share what he knows to assist others who would like that option.So... I called on Friday morning, after having been given a quote of $1382.00 by another company. Christian came out by 2 pm Friday to verify what part was needed, said he would have the part overnighted and would get back with my by 9:30 Saturday. (I was originally told Monday, but snow was coming on Sunday). by 8:30 AM Saturday, Christian was knocking on my door and was done with his work (the same work that I was quoted $1382.00) by 10:30 AM and I paid $296.00. EXCELLENT service and pricing. I will never call anyone else!

I chose to use Altitude Heating and Air Inc. based off of a positive recommendation from a co-worker whose parents had utilized the services of Altitude Heating and Air Inc. on their central air & furnace install. I had solicited several other bids for a central air conditioning system installation prior to selecting a contractor, as well as extensive research based off online reviews. Altitude Heating and Air Inc. was a very competitive bid, and a quicker install date. Altitude Heating and Air Inc. was also about the only installer that was able to give me an inclusive bid to cover all of the installation (Mechanical, Electrical, Permits etc.)...This was great, and likely a swinging factor in me selecting Altitude Heating and Air Inc. for the job. The electrician (Thoren @ Hegwood Electric) that performed the electrical work did an exceptional job cleanly running conduit all the way around the exterior under the siding of my home. Lonny is good at keeping communication open throughout the duration of the project as it relates to scheduling, and project delivery. Lonny is also very reasonable in dealing with unforeseen issues if/when they arise. Altitude Heating and Air Inc., has a fine eye for detail and took no shortcuts when it came to installation of my home project (and I consider myself picky). Lonny and the crew performing the install took pride in their work, and cleaned up well after themselves. They also took the time to go over all of the system operations with me, and made sure I was aware of each step through the process. Jennifer in the office was great to deal with too and was always on the ball with everything. A week later when both of the PPRBD inspectors came to review the work stated that everything looked great, and appears to be a job well done. Overall we are very satisfied with the finished project, and our only regret is we didnt have Altitude Heating and Air Inc. perform this installation years ago...The house is now our place of retreat during the dog days of summer. Based upon our experience, we would (without hesitation) highly recommend them to anyone looking for a well-executed delivery of a central air conditioning system installation.

They have been a long time supporter of their community and schools, especially Audubon Elementary. They do a lot to help the school!

Ive used them twice now, from a referral through a networking organization. Thoroughly disappointed. The first time they sent an unexperienced tech that had to call for help every 5 mins. Nice guy, eventually got the job done but he didnt do some basic maintenance that would have prevented the second call 3 months later. The second tech came in, used a piece of sandpaper for 2 mins to clean a filament ( that should have been done on the previous $470 visit ) The tech ( nice guy ) was in my house less than 10 mins start to finish, they wanted $80, when I said that was ridiculous they offered to do a full cleaning of my system ( was done on original visit - half way apparently) for that price, I refused and they reduced to $65 for 2 mins worth of work, paid the bill because its the right thing to do. Nice people doing the service, but I would stay away from them. Not the type of organization I would do business with ever again.
