Randy is a rare gem as an honest, no-BS mechanic. They can do anything in their shop. He does the regular maintenance for us and weve trusted him for the last nine years. The shop also does auto-body, electrical work, a/c, and I *believe* everything else you could imagine for your vehicle. Theyve even got a fabrication shop on site. Shop moved from our neighborhood this last year and we still make the trip for all our maintenance/repair needs. Randy gives honest, candid assessments and helps you decide the best, most affordable course of action for your brand new vehicles or your 13-year-old pickup.

This auto shop was a lifesaver. In passing through Colorado on my way to North Carolina my vehicle started making a noise. Saturday morning I took it to Randy at Tech center he quickly diagnosed the issue as my driveshaft needed replaced. Jeep stop making them last year. Randy found a place to rebuild it and still get it back to me the same day as it was critical to get back on the road. He also followed up several days later to ensure all worked properly and the drive to NC went smoothly. They are honest people doing great work.

I was driving home on I-25, when my engine began smoking. I knew I didn’t want to be stuck on the side of the road, so I got off Rockrimmon exit and saw a gas station to my right and headed there. It was then that I saw the auto shop. Randy came over and saw that something was wrong (Oil leaking rapidly out) and offered to take a look. He and Rambo quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, the correct part was delivered and installed and since it was time for an oil change anyway, did that! So many things could have gone wrong...but this was seamless. I felt so comfortable with these gentlemen...and had complete faith in them. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Only four stars because todays service took longer than I thought it should, since I had an appointment.

Awesome experience. I already had purchased parts for my BMW, and Your Import Car Doctor happily installed them. They were very reasonably priced and very friendly. They even offered a loaner since it was going to be a few hours before they could get to it. It was done right and on time. I would highly recommend this repair shop. GREAT WORK | FRIENDLY | FAIRI recently brought my 2004 Audi A4 to Your Import Car Doctor because it wouldn’t start. I spoke to the Service Manager, Fernando, who was extremely helpful. He was very informative, keeping me current on how the work was going throughout the repair process. Even went as far as to spend after hours time working on my car himself to ensure I would have my vehicle back as quickly as possible. After a couple of days I had my car back fixed, clean, and running without a problem.I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to Fernando and his team!

They got my kids breaks done reasonable and fast next day . They even checked out the rears and was told they had plenty of life and that was a nice touch . I will use them for future needs .

Its just about impossible to find an independent, honest vehicle mechanic. But this is one. They do high quality, reasonably priced service. And they dont try to sell you service or parts you dont need. So glad a friend referred me to them several years ago. Theyve worked on vehicles for me and for my adult children for years. Once saved about $1,000 over what a Denver mechanic was going to charge for some major repairs. These folks are great.

Still have some play in steering but overall the service was professional. Helped me out a great deal on the vehicle. I will always go there to make my vehicle better. If you bought the vehicle off letgo please take it straight to Tech Center they are subject matter experts at what they do.

When it comes to diagnosing problems these guys are genius. If you want a friendly honest place to get your car fixed, look no further. One time I took my car in there thinking I needed a new motor. Randy is hands down the best mechanic in the Springs. I was involved in a accident so I brought my car to Tech Center Services because of what I had heard about them from friends. His staff was super fast, calling me back that day. Randy not only worked with the insurance company for me he called in his expert. Randy called his friend that is an agent with that very company to make sure I was well taken care of. They were also happy to tell me about other things to watch for with this model and my car in general. All of the technicians I talked to were friendly and helpful unlike some experiences I have had at other shops. Randy has become my go to mechanic due to his years of experience and friendly attitude. Anything Randy doesnt specialize in he is happy to recommend another expert for. This really is the best shop in the Springs and I cant thank Randy and his employees enough for my experiences here.

I have been with Import Car Doctor, aka Independent Volvo, for over a decade and have enjoyed trustworthy recommendations and excellent workmanship every year of the way.The front desk is friendly, never any waiting, the bill is fully explained, and I have never had to take any of my cars back for something that was missed or done wrong.And Im so glad I dont have to drive to Motor City Drive. Although Im not dissing on the Saab dealer service, they were great too, I just dont want to drive there.I highly recommend them.

Last year, I had them replace a melted fuse box in my 2001 VW Beetle, and they did an excellent job, at a great cost. They were quick and efficient and I have not had issues of that kind since then. In addition, the environment of their shop is friendly, clean, bright, and very cozy, with a fireplace and nice large leather couches. The perfect place to wait while they work on your vehicle, especially in winter, when that kind of comfort is so luxurious. I take my car to them for everything from oil changes to major repairs and they always do the job nicely. If your car is an imported vehicle, there is no one better you can take it to in town, in my opinion. They really know their stuff.

Traveling through Colorado Springs from Kansas City. Alternator on our Honda minivan went out. It was Friday, early afternoon. I had little hope of getting it replaced over the weekend. Randy was very kind and professional. He had me come right over. By the time I arrived 7 minutes later, he had the part on the way. We were back on the road within a few hours. My family was very grateful. No problems 1500 miles later. Thank you Randy!

My son took his 2013 328i in for a battery replacement. The estimate was $350, but the final bill was $530. The only work performed was the battery replacement. $530 is higher than the local BMW dealer. They simply took advantage of a college student. Not ethical!!!

This place is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. The waiting room is comfortable. They even have cars to loan if you need yo leave yours in the shop. I always hated going to auto shops as I felt taken advantage of because of how little I know about cars. When I come here, they are always honest about what is a priority to be fixed and what can wait. I really appreciate that. Most people dont have hundreds or even thousands ready to throw into repairs, so having this honest feedback keeps me coming back. I was told by a tire shop I needed my front tie rods replaced, so I came here for a second opinion. Since the mechanics know Volvos, they were able to clarify that it wasnt necessary and saved me hundreds. Check this place out!

These guys are incredible! Randy, Brett and Wayne are super nice and very thorough. They came and picked me up when my classic car broke down by their shop then got my car to the shop without having to pay for a tow and even came in on Saturday to get my car ready for me to attend a car show on Sunday. Best customer Ive ever had. Whether its my classic car or modern daily driver these guys have all of my business.

If you are a woman or dont know anything about cars I would recommend taking someone with you or going somewhere else period. Took my car in, paid for what they said was wrong and 2 months later the same thing happened so I took it back and they tried charging me for the same service they told me was done the first time and tried convincing me they didnt. I refused and the owner said if you dont leave it you wont have a car at all and will be walking which was rude, so freaked out I left it. Im a single mom and need my car. But immediately changed my mind not having a good feeling about it and called back telling them not to touch the car and I would be back for it. I arrived 30 minutes later, the employee said he already did the work and at first told me I would have to wait until the next morning to talk to the owner. Then said to take the car that he would cover it. I thought that was so nice and felt totally better about the situation. However the same problem started happening immediately after. It was a blinker and a thermostat. I dont see why it had to be such a big issue and so much stress.

I had my clutch replaced here and previously gave them a good review. A job was recommended to be done after the technician noticed an issue while replacing the clutch. After a while I decided to have them perform the job, which was replacing a hose. The employee that made enough of an impact on me to give a five star review no longer worked there. I received poor service throughout this transaction and spent over $400 to replace one hose that I provided. My cars interior was not put back together correctly after the hose was replaced and my check engine light came on showing two codes after driving less than 30 miles. I previously had no codes and now I have two. I contacted your import car doctor about these issues and the mechanic called my a liar and yelled into the phone for the entire conversation. I would like to bring my car in to have the issue resolved, but I am afraid of the mechanic making it worse after our conversation. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Every time I take my car in for service, I feel like Im treated with respect and courtesy. Everyone very friendly, and professional. They take the time to explain any problems, but never press you to have service done. They just explain the facts and leave the decision up to the customer. No hard sell on their part.

My Husband and I both LOVE the Car Dr. The whole staff is helpful and accommodating - I am always able to bring my own things to work on while my car is being taken care of. The mechanics always give us a detailed explanation of what is wrong with our vehicle and sometimes they take us out to the shop to show us first hand the problem so we can see it ourselves. Weve been given rides to come pick up our car before when it was finished, and they even offer a few drinks and snacks! I would highly recommend!

If you value knowing the truth and want an honest mechanic, take your vehicle to Tech Center Services. We have been customers for the last 5 years and never had a problem with any of their work. The staff may crack a few dry jokes here and there, but they do know what they are doing and most importantly, theyre not out to take you for a ride. (No pun intended) Which is why I cant understand the two negative reviewers, but they are probably just bent that they drive junk vehicles and should invest in something better, rather than throw their money away on vehicles that need to be retired permanantly. I mean yeah, you can either keep investing your money and time into a vehicle thats not worth fixing or you can invest the same money you continually pay to fix it, into a newer vehicle that is trustworthy and dependable. So lets see, who really was honest? The mechanic across town who keeps telling you yes we can fix it (and takes your money on a regular basis) or a mechanic who tells you the truth even if it means he wont make money, by telling you to buy a new car. With a family of 5, I want to make sure my kids are riding in a safe vehicle, so we will always be customers at Tech Center Services. Our car is always in and out in the same day and they go out of the way to make sure everything is in good running order. Most would agree it is very difficult to find a reliable automotive shop, but this is the place to go.

As always they were professional! This is the first shop I have ever trusted. They provided an accurate time estimate and pricing when I scheduled. They had internet access so I could do my work while I was waiting. I heard them talk with another customer where they provided many options and time for him to decide. Even switching out a part while he decided. I also heard them tell a client they werent the right shop to fix a bumper. I always find them honest.

I hear so many horror stories about mechanics looking to make a quick buck by ripping people off, but everyone here proves themselves every time I come.A quick story:One time I brought my car in because the check engine light came on. They serviced it, and I picked it up, but it lighted up later that day. When I called to tell them it came on, Randy told me to bring it in and theyd take care of it no charge if it was something they did. Here they could have told me it was nothing they did and charged me more money to turn it off, but they owned up to it! I was in and out in about thirty minutes or less.The honest people at Tech Center Services have helped me out many times (that story is just one of several). I know I leave my car in good hands when I drop it off there.

I have been with this repair facility with all three of my volvos sincethe late 1980s . I have been very pleased with their service over the years.They have always been very helpful in explaining what needs to bedone to the car to keep it running well. I find it quite comforting toknow where to go for repairs when my car needs them.

They were honest about the cost of repairs and were able to give me other options with my totaled vehicle. They were always very nice and would drive me to/from work during my services. I plan to come back!

I was on vacation with my 6 kids and I noticed my brakes were vibrating. We were going to be heading up Pikes Peak and the coming down part could be a problem with the brakes not acting right. I pulled into Shell and immediately saw Tech Center Services and stopped to chat about my brakes. I wasnt surprised to hear that I needed all new brakes and rotors. Ive already forgotten the owners name but he was the nicest man. He got us in, up and out and in time flat and at a great price! What could have been a disaster of a day, ended up only being about a 90 min delay and we were on our way. I cant thank them enough for saving our trip! Thank you!

I am extremely happy with my experience with this shop. They are #1 in electrical system troubleshooting in the Springs, in my opinion. They dont just throw parts at your car and hope something fixes it, at you expense!! They actually take the time to diagnose the problem!! Another shop in town wanted me to purchase two parts they THOUGHT were bad, at the cost of about $1100. Neither part ended up being bad when these guys finished the job. I recommend this shop to anyone!!

My wife and I had just purchased a 2008 Volvo XC90 for our daughter. We took a vacation to Georgia driving this vehicle, and we had no issue until we returned from vacation with the car. We took our daughters Volvo to the import car doctor and found out there was a transmission problem. I had purchased a warranty for this vehicle. John contacted my warranty company and he quarterback the whole process of getting our vehicle repaired. John kept us informed the whole time our vehicle was being repaired! The Import Car Doctor will be our daughers repair shop for as long as she owns this vehicle. John is a very respectful and knowledgeable and pleasant person. Having read a few comments suggesting that the guys at Tech Center Service are rude, I have to admit that Im baffled. Everyone there has always been professional and courteous to me, and Ive taken multiple vehicles to them multiple times.What they will not do is stroke your ego or candy coat things. Perhaps thats been interpreted as rude by some customers? At any rate, they are direct, honest, and fair.Highly recommended for general service on your vehicle. In fact, I think the only thing they dont do is tires, and my guess is if you pressed them, theyd even be willing to do that. ;)

This is my shop. I will only go to them for any work on my car. I have been going to them for over 3 years and appreciate everything they do. I used to have a Volvo that was a piece of junk that always needed work. They would try there best to look around for parts that I could afford and drop the price as much as they could. I have a Kia Optima now and will take my car in there to get worked on if I ever have a problem *knock on wood*. They are like family to me and I recommend them to everyone.

Very happy I found these guys!Let’s face it, if you’re an auto mechanic, you would merely work on your car; otherwise, you have to try to find someone you can trust knowing that you are most certainly at their mercy. My car severely overheated and I was certain that I had blown a head gasket or cracked the block. Felt just like a couple of fowled plugs and after cooling down, wouldn’t run worth beans. It was 9:00 pm on Sunday and the only place I could think of was Tech Center Services; so, I had it towed there. The next morning, they called and said my radiator was shot and although fixing it was just the first necessary step, they were confident that it was the only real problem. Picked up my car the next morning and it was running great.So, what’s the big deal? After all, they just did their job. Well first, I left out how professional they were when I stopped by on Monday morning to let them know that it was my car that had appeared overnight in their lot. Second, how quickly they got back to me with a proposed solution and price. Third, how friendly they were when they called to tell me that fixing the radiator was all it ended up needing and that I was good to go. And lastly, how informative they were when I picked up my car. Not to mention how reasonable their prices are. Hands down, the best automotive repair shop I have been to in nearly sixty years.I will be going back and will definitely recommend them to anyone that will listen. As a pessimist, I don’t expect much from people and am rarely surprised. These guys surprised me big-time. Everyone that I met there was professional, personable, and genuinely seemed to care.

We have been having our car serviced there for a few years and really wanted to be comfortable with them as a place we could trust. But lately we have had some issues we cannot ignore. They have been diagnosing extra, more expensive problems with each oil change visit -- problems, that our second opinion places didnt find. Sometimes, work they have done has actually caused other more expensive repairs. These guys always take such good care of me. I well always take my car to them. I have been to a lot of other places that have done work on my car and they always did a crappy job and I dont trust them with my car. One of those places I went to, that I will not name, dropped the garage door on my car. These guys would never do that. they are very careful on what they work on and how they treat my car. It is nice to know that if i have any problems with my car I can go to them and have my car fixed.
