I rented a car from them around a year ago, almost did yesterday also as my vic broke down. They had great service. It was quick, friendly, fair, and affordable.Also, read the owner responses on here. He has mastered passive-aggressiveness while remaining professional. His responses to negative reviews are a work of art... truly skillful. Well done sir!!Ill definitely be back next time i need a rental.

Ive wanted from U-save a few times and they have been AMAZING when it comes to accommodating and professional!! I had called them when I had a family emergency and the where no cats available, they said they should call me as soon as something came open, with in a matter of less then 20min I got a call back and they made everything simple for me to get in and out and in the road, Joyce is so amazing and JR the sales manager is such a joy to talk to and very friendly!a I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone I know!! I have rented delivery vans from this company for years. Being a small business owner myself, USave is our ‘go-to” when we need an extra van for flower deliveries around the holidays, weddings, or our vehicle is in the shop. U-save always comes through for us, with a great vehicle, exactly what we need, at a reasonable rate, and the customer service is top notch. This past week Joyce and Renee once again impressed me with their great attitudes and got me rolling out on schedule. My family was visiting Colorado Springs in August 2017. We spontaneously decided to rent a car for sight seeing purposes. The man who helped us was very friendly and we were on our way very quickly. We originally planned to have the car for 2 days. We ended up keeping it 3 extra days, with no hassle. We simply called and asked for an extention. After we returned the car and figured out the cost, I was very pleasantly surprised.For a low cost, no hassle car rental go to U-Save!

The people are what make this business stand out. Down to earth, friendly, and capable. My experience has been with the service department. They do repair work on private vehicles, too, and the diagnosis and work are excellent. My husband has rented vehicles from them, also, and always goes here when he needs to rent a car or truck. They have the best rental rates in town. We love this place!!

I have been waiting to write this review for a while, but after this morning I think its time to give it. We bought a 2015 Yaris from them back in February after we received it from the Rental Fleet side of things. Within weeks the thing started having issues. We took it in to have it looked at and their Master Mechanic was baffled at what the problem could be... apparently did $400 worth of work and a hose blew off the engine when he took it for a test drive to see if he fixed the issue. They said it needed to go to Toyota but because it was still under factory warranty, so not to worry, but felt the need to include the information that If Toyota doesnt cover it, its $700 for them to tear apart the engine but again, told us not to worry and that things shouldnt be an issue.Guess what! Toyota said that the clamp in question is not in fact factory and someone messed with it, therefor, its not their issue. The extended warranty we bought to cover this stuff just in case - wont touch it either because this thing is still under factory... All U Save has done with shrugged and asked for their money. When we ask what payment options are to get the car back, they tell us to give them the 1,500 worth of work first, then we can work out a maintenance payment plan. If we had almost 2 grand laying around, it would have gone to the down payment at the time of purchase. That is what they have called working with us. From day one, its been about money first - never customer care.We have been renting a car since then just so we can get to and from work and school. Today, they showed up for the second time and took the rental because they claim we were behind. These people dont care about you. Drive, far, far away from them. You know that typical used car salesman stereotype? That is these guys ALL over - shady and will bend you over without lube. I suppose its time to involve the BBB.

I have rented from this company at least once a month for almost a year now. Staff is very friendly and fast. They always have a car available for me last minute and at a great price. I believe that they are very professional, courtesy, and always have a smile on when I come in. Thanks for the great service!!!

SCAM ALERTWhen you get charged $1200.00 dollars for a 10 day rental at U-Save and then go to Budget and rent a car for 14 days with unlimited mileage for $480.00 you realize the business name is simply bait and should read You-PAY Car and Truck Rental and you wish you had the option to leave a negative 5 star review.Consumer Beware!Caveat;3 weeks later somebody from this place tried to charge my card $350.00SCAM

Rude and pushy staff. I was forced into using additional insurance. Employees were confused and bickering with each other. Deposit was astronomical. Extra insurance made the price double what was shown online. The whole reason I even considered U-Save is because of the price. I have an enterprise right down the street from me that would have been cheaper if I had realized that extra insurance would be forced. The Key drop was rudimentary and tacky. Turned around and used Enterprise the next week and they were quick, courteous, came and picked me up and the paperwork was minimal. I was not bullied into extra insurance.

This place is terrible all they want is your money. Ive been leasing a vehicle from these guys for over a year now. Since day 1 I have had issues with my vehicle. They are quick to get it in to look at but your vehicle always comes back worse. From transmission problems oil pressure to them checking my breaks. No matter what they do something else goes wrong. One of the times they did their 27 point check they didnt secure my tire back on all the way and it almost fell off. I was left with 3 of the lug nuts and those 3 were even lose. My gf was about 6 months pregnant at the time and they acted like my wheel almost falling off was no big deal. Save yourself the trouble and look else where if you want to save the headache and the money waste. There has been more problems but you get the picture. Typical car sales people smile in your face and tell you what you want to hear then send you on your way

Rented a small car her while mine was in the shop. Not necessarily the nicest/newest cars but WAY cheaper than going with one of the larger national brands. And the people here were really nice and got me into the car very quickly.

I rented a basic F150 for Thanksgiving weekend. I calculated exactly how much mileage I needed and the staff worked out a great deal for me as though it was business-as-usual. Will definitely rent from U-Save again.

I will never ever suggest to rent a car from the Colorado Springs location I decided to not do a rental I cancelled within 24hrs and they refused to give my money back after calling and saying they would . Called corporate they said that I would get a full refund and to call back and just got a call saying that I cant and I have to wait for a manager 5-10 business days , very bad attitudes and obviously dont know what they are doing. I tried to hear them out and wait but they giving nothing but false information. That is what I get for going to an un name brand ass company never had issues like this with any other company. broke ass company . Thank you and never again !!

I never write reviews but I have to for this one. Customer service is terrible. These people are so incredibly rude. I called 3 times and the second 2 times they said I didnt have a reservation when I made one from the start. Then said they couldnt pick me up from the avation center right next to the airport(even with the address) because he didnt know where it was. People speaking were rude the entire time talking to the second and third call. It was a very frustrating experience and I dont recommend anyone use them. needless to say we didnt end up renting from there.

They charged me a $100 because they found evidence of smoking in the car, when I dont even smoke and when I tried to find a resolve they told me that its what the agent who had checked in the car had found and Im lucky that I wasnt charged $250 instead. I asked for proof of the evidence found or even if the car smelled and he would not give me an answer and became very rude. So Im out a hundred dollars and no sympathy from this sham of a business. I suggest if you rent from them you have the car detailed before bringing it back.

We came to rent a car one morning during operation hours, no answer at the door, it was locked, and they didnt pick up the phone, no one was in there (6/20/18). We needed a last minute rental and would have paid good $ since all the corporate places were sold out.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! I was charged $1450 for renting for a four day trip. They came up on Expedia for 195$ for 4 days, they charge 250$ a day PLUS charge per mile if you are going out of state and a cleaning fee of $175!!!!Its in the sketchiest part of town, and looks way run down,, Expedia should not put this rental place on their site,,, u-save more like u-get-f***ed.This company doesnt even deserve one star, they should be shut down for scamming people out of money. Youre better off going to hertz or enterprise and paying the extra few dollars.

So i bought my vehicle here through Spencer Hames. Before looking at the vehicle i gave what i believed was a fair value for the vehicle which Spencer had no objections to. I reserved writing a review until i had the car long enough to ensure there was nothing that they could have seen or known of. As of now i have owned my vehicle since March 8th 2017. The vehicle has been highly reliable and no issues with it. Spencer was very polite as were the rest of the staff. The used car has minor issues if any which were all known at the time of purchase. I can fully assure that if i were to go long distance i would only need to change my oil and head out to the road. Since ive had the vehicle ive done nothing aside from routine maintenance on the vehicle. I would highly recommend this group for its efforts. Especially since the used vehicle with me being in a bind and needing transportation i was sure id get a lemon from anywhere. NOT FROM HERE though. No one wanted to be realistic with their prices and i understand blue book value as well as dealers need to make some money for their work as well. This i have never objected to but to many dealers tried getting me to pay 3k or more than what a vehicle was worth. Spencer was awesome in making it easy and being reasonable. I love my Impala even when i will eventually find a newer vehicle i can faithfully say that the Impala i got from Spencer is my new old reliable. Awesome job with customer service and showing how business can still be done with integrity!

If I could give this company no stars it would it would fit the company better. I was charge a $50 cancellation fee for canceling my pre-pay rental which wasnt in the terms and agreements when I read the policies it was on the cancellation page after I paid for my rental you really should watch out for this company because they will try to jip you for everything possible and not refund you the whole amount. avoid calling back and making it very difficult to speak to a manager. They ran me through four different numbers saying call this person call this person call this person to get a refund and I havent received anything yet only thing I received was a $20 partial refund they said which was agreeable to the terms and conditions which is not on there page. Watch out for this company because they were really charge you for everything. Ive never seen a company charge a $50 cancellation fee for canceling on time. Youre better off waiting to enterprise or or any other big time rental companies because this company is literally a joke . But I see they enjoy responding to all the reviews which makes no sense and is pretty unprofessional if you asked me I never seen a business person come to his own or three review page to comment towards the customers LOL .

We leased a vehicle from Usave a year and a galf ago and literally since day1 we have had issues. We were told our vehicle was ready to go, had new brakes and tires ..just needed to be detailed and we could schedule that later since we needed our car right away. - we did need the car so I was cool with that...but here we are has the vehicle ever been detailed? No. Shortly after we got it we noticed a squeaking noise - we called and talked to our salesman and we were assured it should work itself out and brakes are known to do that... The cat still squeaks and theyve never made an effort to fix it.The next issue was and has always been the transmission. The vehicle shifts horribly. We took it in again and we were told they couldnt find anything wrong with the vehicle. We continued to go back and forth and they never accepted any responsibility or attempt to get us into a different vehicle and make it right. We were basically told to deal with it.Summer came and we continued to have transmission issues....we brought it back in and they looked at it again but this time when we picked up the car we had no air? we called them immediately and we were told to bring it back again and they would fix it... Took it back in and after a few hours we had air again and were advised one of the mechanics forgot a step?? We continued to have transmission issues and decided to take the have it looked at by a few other companies. They all advised that it was definitely an issue with the transmission but with our warranty we would need to contact the leasing company. We took the car back with all the codes the other companies provided but mysteriously their codes were nothing that matched the codes Usaves mechanics found.We had to take the car in because of an issue with one of the tires...they repaired the tire but we started noticing a clunking noise i was about 6 months pregnant at this time. A few days later we were trying to figure out what this noise was - turns out 3 of the 5 lug nuts were missing and the 2 that were on were loose!! Our tire was about to fall off!!! I could not believe it. How negligent can you be?Youre telling me that your mechanics returned a vehicle to a customer that was pregnant...they all knew we were expecting- my boyfriend is very close with a few employees and these people know us personally! They put us at risk and that is un forgivable. Maybe if we had been in a car accident because of their negligence they wouldve done something about our vehicle. When we called to tell them about the car they did not apologize...at all. They simply told us to bring it back and they would take care of it.About two weeks ago we took the car in for an oil change. We told them our transmission fluid was low again- they figured out a few months ago it was leaking but never did anything to fox it. The day after it was serviced our oil light was on. When we checked the summary sheet they gave us turns out they only changed the oil and never replenished the transmission fluid. Also it was noted that tthe mechanic couldnt locate the dip stick for the transmission fluid - we discussed with a salesman the last time we were there that they would need to order a ppart made for our vehicle because the Nitro does not come with this. - so the mechanic just bypassed it all together?? We took it in ttoday and asked when we could schedule the leak to be fixed as we had discussed....suddenly the salesman had amnesia and didnt ever remember promising that. We were told that there was nothing they could do.I am absolutely disgusted with this company. Its always a promise and no follow through. Their mechanics have no clue what they are doing and they seem not to care. Im so mad that we kept this vehicle when we had the first issue... I shouldve trusted my gut and given this POS back to this typical used salesman lot. Do yourself a favor and choose someone else!!

I ran into a snag when I arrived at COS on wednesday expecting to pick up my rental car from Avis. A new policy regarding debit cards at the airport had me stranded and not able to rent. A counter staff at the airport suggested Usave. I talked to Brian who was amiable and helpful. He sent Larry to the airport to pick us up to take us to their offices which are off airport. Larry was very cordial and helpful and handled our transaction. I met Brian when we arrived and found him to be helpful as well.We were given a Ford Fiesta that was a little beat up on the inside with a number of cigarette burns in the seat fabric for a little better than 51 bucks per day. I had my own insurance.As we left I mentioned two or three times we would return at 3 on Saturday to which they all replied great, well see you then.We then left for Estes Park for the rest of the week.On Saturday, we had a VM from Brian verifying we would be back by 2. This threw me for a loop because of the conversation we had on our pickup day referencing 3pm return on Saturday.We called and indeed they expected us back at 2. I didnt bother to check the contract before we left, but in fact It did say return by 2.When we returned, we were assessed a milage fee because we had gone over the allotted 150 per day. I was surprised by this. This is a dated standard in todays world. I travel a lot for business and cant remember the last time I was assessed milage fees...other than renting A Uhaul on occasion.Again, this was on the contract...and my error was in assuming this rental would be like the national names I am used to renting from.Larry did mention I may not leave the state but did not once reference a limit to the mileage. Not that it would have mattered as I needed the car. I was completely hamstrung at that point.If you come to CO to travel a lot seeing RMNP or the like, make note this company does limit daily mileage.Brian was kind enough to drive us to the Airport to catch our flight and he was again cordial. I did mention I was not too pleased with the surprise mileage charge. He assured me that if I rent from them again, he would take care of me. I travel to COS frequently to visit RMNP. The milaege charge will be a hindrance in considering them again.Not a bad company. However, be sure to read and read again your contract to avoid my mistakes.***Edit*** I am changing my initial review of 3 star to a full 5 star review due to the owners personal care and handling of the issues outlined above. He immediately responded to my review in a professional, courteous, and business like manner. As a business owner of a retail flower shop as well as a computer repair company in Orlando, its rare to find businesses who handle things in such a way. I will indeed rent from this company when I return to the mountains in the coming spring/summer based on their response and handling of this matter.

Watch out because what they advertise on their website is not true. The guy just quoted me over $600 due to a policy that is not listed on their website. Thank you for not helping me take my son who has a disability to see his biological dad. And whom ever answered the phone was rude. Im in shock, people have no heart and just make up things as they go along.
