He obviously couldn’t help as he was already booked. But he asked where she was getting married and said he had done the venue before and gave me the instructions on set up and equipment and how to do it all. Thank you again for your help.

Professional and very easy to work with. The only reason I am not giving five stars is that the iphone adapter we were given was dysfunctional. Luckily, we had a laptop on hand so we used that instead.

I contacted Narrow Gauge about doing my wedding a few months ago. The initial replies regarding availability were quick and helpful. The replies remained quick even when I would email with a change of plans or additional information. Jim was very flexible and open to my requests. As I got further into the process, Jim helped me with figuring out which equipment I needed and made sure I gave him all the information he needed to make the ceremony go smoothly. Not only that, but he made sure I had everything we needed at a very reasonable price. My wedding was at Fox Run, which isnt an easy place to set up with sound, but he did it. The ceremony was amazing. Our officiant had a mic so all the guests could hear the ceremony.In addition to this, we rented a sound system for the reception. The sound tech was willing to sit there and wait for my brothers to arrive so that the system wasnt left unattended in an open public park.I really recommend Narrow Gauge to anyone needing a sound system and especially for weddings. Jim is so helpful and flexible and even the day of the ceremony I didnt have to worry about the sound. Id rate them higher than 5 stars if I could.

Jim and crew were very helpful. I had no idea what I really needed and Jim was patient and explained everything well. They were on time, polite and their cost was very good compared to others. What I appreciated also was that Jim got back to me so quickly and I was signed up fast (I had left this for last minute and they were able to help me). It was a great experience and Im glad we chose them for my daughters wedding reception.

We had a last minute event at Pikes Peak Market and contacted Jim about getting a sound system set up that night. He was able to move his schedule around and personally set up the system! He stayed over an hour to make sure everything was good to go for the speaker. Great service and I will definitely reach out to Narrow Gauge for future events.

Narrow Gauge Sound is professional, reliable and flexible. Ive been working with Jim for over a year now and he has been awesome. I manage a monthly event at a hotel with over 100 people. Jim provides an excellent sound system for our ballroom sized event with music and wireless microphones for our guest speakers. He has never been late and is always ready before we are. Narrow Gauge is definitely the company to use for sound equipment rental! The owner, Jim, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He and his crew set up the sound equipment for our daughters wedding reception and were able to navigate an unexpected power outage with the event center. If it werent for them and their knowledge of equipment, we would have been partying in the dark all evening! Stop searching for others... go with this company!

I rented a sound and light system from Narrow Gauge for my sons wedding and reception and couldnt have been happier with the equipment and support! Jim was very helpful in advising what equipment was needed and Josh was great with the setup, teardown, and walking us through the operation. Highly recommended if you want to MC & DJ your own event.

Absolutely phenomenal company for renting a sound system for a wedding. You really cant plan for how loud, clear and full music needs to sound in a room of 100 people, who may all be chatting at the same time. Bluetooth speakers just cant cut it, and the night of dancing depends on it! Jim the owner, was immensely helpful every step of the way. He was able to work with me to still rent a system, even though my wedding venue was 100 miles away from their shop. His team delivered it with no delays while maintaining a very professional manner, answering our questions and making the system foolproof to operate. The sound was great, the music was heavy, and the subwoofers are a must. I recommend getting the top system if you and your wedding guests like to get down. Our dance party did not conclude until 3:30am, with the last 5 or 6 troopers on the dance floor. Could have not done it without Narrow Gauge Sound!

I just recently had my wedding at the beginning of August and chose to work with Jim and his team over at a Narrow Gauge. Jim was extremely helpful and very personable throughout our conversation. Communication leading up to the event was great. We did have a technical issue during the wedding which was NOT the fault of Narrow Gauge at all but our own device decided to be a little difficult. We ended up using our back up device with a copy of our playlist which worked extremely well(ALWAYS BRING A BACK UP). Even then we called and Jim and his team worked hard to walk through the issue with us together until we were able to finally get things moving again. Even his set up team that was there the day of was amazing and super friendly. The team at Narrow Gauge really work to build a trusting relationship well before the wedding which is huge if youre a bride like me who went into this whole thing just scared beyond words and having little to no knowledge about stuff like this.Oh, and theyll even check up on you afterwards to make sure youve survived all the chaos which meant a lot to me. So I would highly recommend Narrow Gauge for whatever event you need.
