Great little hidden gem for getting music gear.

Ryan May does a fantastic job with his customers. He has, on more than one occasion, spent significant amounts of time with us making sure that we left his business with the right products and advice. Not once have I ever felt like he was trying to sell us anything. He seems to want to educated his customers as well as helping them decide on a solution or product. His staff really knows the business as well. Very knowledgeable staff and honest folks. They will have my business for the long term.

I simply cannot recommend performance audio enough. When you invest so much time and money into getting your tech right and if your like me and don’t have enough knowledge to do it on your own then you need to hire this company. They are patient, knowledgeable and are available at a moments notice. I have called them mid performnance and they pick up the phone and help regardless of what time it is. If I have a question, need some advice or am ready to purchase equipment I only want to work with this company. They are the best

This pro shop is ABSOLUTELY FREAKEN AWESOME! I needed some technical work involving a huge mixer board and some FOCAL Twin6 BE speakers. They did the diagnostics so fast and accurate. To be 1000% honest, they do the work in town nobody else can do. They have YEARS of experience and knowledge and ability you just cant find any other place in town.

Called yesterday for the first time and spoke with John. Having just received a NAD amp for my home A/V system, and a delay in shipping the XLR cables purchased 6 days earlier via an eBay seller, I was anxious to do more than just look at the amp, considering the cables hadnt even shipped yet. Explained to John that both the rear panel of my receiver and the amp show to have female XLR connections. He said he would need to make them, as such a thing is rare, but that he could have them ready to pick up in ~30 minutes. He quoted me a reasonable price for a 3 pair. I showed up an hour later and would not have suspected the cables werent professionally (mass) manufactured. However, upon attempting installation, I discovered that the photo of my receivers back panel on Crutchfields website varied from my actual receiver...which had male XLR output connectors (as John said was common with any output/input situation). Called him back and he said he had male/female cables in stock and that hed exchange them straight across. When I got there, he lowered the price of the male/female cables to make it easy and not hassle with a new transaction or requirement for me to pay any addl $. Nice...he couldve collected a couple bucks more. I was in and out and appreciate Johns willingness to take back the custom-made male/male cables with such an understanding, cooperative attitude. Especially in light of some businesses being closed right now, I appreciate just the fact that Performance Audio was open, but to have friendly and refreshingly accommodating service made it easy to give 5-Stars. Thanks John! Ill definitely keep Performance Audio in mind for my future audio needs.

Love this place. The staff is super knowledgeable with the gear in store, and something that I really like is that even though they may not have a product inside the store that isnt in stock at the store, theyll order it to get shipped here and they do a great job with keeping me posted. I also enjoy purchasing color coded cables. Easier for assortment in my studio. 5/5!

I cant say enough great things about Performance Audio. I bought some home studio equipment here and I found their selection to be solid and fairly priced. The staff offered expert advice and they didnt try to oversell me on something I wouldnt get the best value from. That approach builds strong long term customer relationships. Major credibility and major respect in my opinion. I will definitely shop here for my audio gear in the future.

Not only did they hardly even attempt to fix the audio equipment I *called in advance* to check if they could fix, they then didnt have anything to sell me that could work. Huge waste of time.

I needed a sound system for my airplane hanger. Ryan came out and specd a system, it wasnt as expensive as I expected so I was skeptical it would blow the walls down like I wanted. He assured me it was plenty of system. For less than the cost of 2 VIP Taylor Swift concert tickets I had a bad ass professional system that sounds amazing!

The two gentlemen that helped my wife and I were exceptionally knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They carry high quality products and are very eager to design the best solution at a good price.

My favorite audio store ever! Staff are experts and passionate about all things audio, and excellent problem solvers. I had home recording issues and couldnt be happier with the solution they came up with.Getting to actually test the equipment in store with side by side comparisons is worth a trip alone (flipping between a dozen PA speakers, computer monitors, or testing a whole rack of high end headphones).With prices comparable to online, plus an experienced staff and in store demps, Performance Audio is the only audio store in the Springs Ill ever need.

Ryan May... What a guy! And Ross... That guy - WOW! I once saw Ross mix a 13pc alt salsa band outdoors on on a 12 ch behringer mixer (with no outboard gear!) and ya know, It sounded pretty good. he was riding the faders to mimic a compressor and creating a tap delay with his talk back mic... True artistry still exists.

Never knew this place existed until last week. Very happy I found it. Great high end pro gear and very cool and very knowledgeable guys working there to help with all your needs. This will be the only place I shop for pro audio gear from now on. Yes, they carry all the big name high-end gear. Midas, QSC, Roland, Se, Mogami, AKG, EV, JBL, Etc. I am very pleased to say for some of us old school guys that still need things like light gels for our par cans these cats not only knew what I was asking for but they even have a full complement of Roscoe gels in every color and they come in the full 24 x 20 sheets so you can cut your own custom sizes that you may need. Unlike a couple of guys at another big name store in town (no names) didnt even know what I was talking about, had never heard of them. Sad!! I used to work at the Denver Prosound music store back in the early 90s I worked in the guitar Dept. With Brent, Scooter, and JT (bass guy) and we still needed to know a little about everything we sold in the store. Or you should if youre a pro selling pro level gear anyway. And everyone that works in a music store from 18 to 80 should at least know what par cans and gels are. Am I right or what..lol. Anyway sorry about the rant,.
