I rarely if ever give reviews, but this experience has definitely given me significant pause and I hope no one has to go through this and as such am writing a negative review of this business. Again this is fairly difficult for me as I am a business owner myself and I know how negative reviews can impact a business. However, the level of unprofessionalism and disrespect I encountered with Irena, one of the owners was unparalleled. I scheduled a repair for my dishwasher in my new home through our home warranty. Had to pay 100 dollars for them to come out, all I was told was to make sure that someone was at the house when the technician arrived. My 15 y/o son was there to let the technician in, he said he couldnt come in because of my sons age. I get a message from Irena that stated because of state and federal regulations her technician could not come in (a lie), there is no such regulation - might be their policy, but no regulation. I called back several times and no answer and I left several messages, about 90 minutes later Irina called back and was very inappropriate and rude. When confronted about her misrepresentation/lie she mentioned that is in her contract with the home warranty and that it was in my home warranty contract (also a lie), I told her that it was her responsibility as the business owner to inform the customer of all stipulations about a technician of hers coming into the home, how would I know what their policy was - when confronted with this said that regardless it was another 75 dollars for them to come out (a lie that goes a against the contract she has with the Home warranty company - which two people from the home warranty company have verified for me), when asked how old the person has to be to be at the home - I got three different answers - one for 16, 18 and then 21. When confronted with this discrepancy Irena yelled at me doesnt matter your son is too young - heaven forbid I have any other people in the family if I have to have them come back and need to know the age of the person that is needed to be home. I have now had to wait on hold with the home warranty company twice for over 30 minutes to get the situation resolved and still dont have my dishwasher fixed. To make matters worse, she closed out the ticket with the Home warranty company saying the job was complete so she could collect repair fees. Absolutely horrible customer service, unsavory business practice, fraud, and a lawsuit waiting to happen.

The service was impeccable. I was so grateful for Appliance Works taking the time to make sure they understood the nature of the problem I was experiencing with my dryer. When Vladimir arrived, he was prepared to resolve my concern and did so quickly. My property was well-respected; this was particularly poignant as the polar vortex loosed its effects as he arrived. Very grateful for the quick service call and ultimate repair of our washing machine. Two parts were ordered to repair the washing machine.......thankful only one was needed. Requested second ordered part that was not installed be left with us (in case the inevitable happens and this part is needed in the future) but service person stated he would send it back. My Samsung refrigerator ice maker stopped working. Called Home Depot to start the claim. Heard from Irina from Appliance Works LLC just two days later. I also got an email to get it started. She got my information and ordered the parts immediately and I was setup with an appointment barely a week later. Communication was perfect. The day of the service, I got a call to see if I could slide the time by an hour because the tech guy was running late due to a really complicated service just prior to my appt. Of course! Just like clockwork, I received a call that the tech guy was on his way and he arrived as stated. Super nice guy, knowledgeable, incredibly polite, and funny. He fixed the problem in great time, left no mess whatsoever, and provided great detail on what the problem, why it happened, and how he fixed it. He also asked me to follow up in a few days to make sure I was good to go. The ice began flowing that same night. This experience was exactly how I was hoping it would be. Easily 5 stars - they earned it!

Appliance Works accepted my warranty contract from Home Depot. The day before the appointment I guess they decided they didnt feel like honoring their contract commitment. Never even was informed of this, found out after the technician never showed up. Now Ive got to wait even longer to get my fridge fixed by a new company and their schedule. I would not hesitate to request their service again. We have a dryer that was leaking water and not drying clothes. We now understand the concept of a water lent collection dryer instead of an exhaust expelling dryer. Very high maintenance, would not suggest having one. Great job by the tech and office manger!

We were very pleased with how fast they contacted us for scheduling. Our dryer went out on Sunday, they contacted us on Monday and scheduled us for Friday. Later that day they contacted us regarding a cancellation and someone came out on Tuesday. The service technician Mr. Kozik was great - he was very courteous and knowledgeable and fixed our dryer quickly. I would definite recommend them and would use them again without hesitation.

I will never recommend this company to anyone. We went through our home warranty company to have our freezer fixed. The technician came out, did what he did and left. We thought the freezer was fixed. About a week later, we get an email saing the parts have been ordered, to which we asked, What parts? No response.Next email we recieve says the parts will be in on such and such a day and they want to schedule. At this point my husband tried to call them, leaving messages thoughout the week. Once again, no call back.Our previous warranty company would send the parts to the customers house. My husband wanted to know if we should be looking out for the parts. What parts were they and why would we need to unplug our refridgerator for 12 hours before the appointment. Not one call back but he got an email asking when they could come out.We recieve yet another email that basically stated, they were cancelling the work order. This was due to not responding the their other emails. Yet she would not respond to his questions about the parts except to say they were coming and wanted to set up an appointment.Now if she had just picked up the phone or called back, Im sure questions would have been answered and this could have been settled.Also their technician will not wear a mask or gloves. They state he will disinfect the work area, which he didnt. He didnt even ask to wash his hands or use hand sanitizer.We are very lucky that our home warranty company sent out Ramey Appliance Repair. The two technicians were polite, wore masks, and it took them a total of 30 mins to replace the fan in my freezer. They wiped everything down, even asked to wash their hands, and we did not have to unplug our appliance for 12 hours before they did the work.

I had called to have a service fix to one of my appliances through my home insurance and they gave the work order to this place. They emailed me asking for specifics on my appliance the next day. I advised them of the information they asked for and also allowed them to please make sure their tech wears a mask while coming into my home, as my immune system is compromised due to pregnancy and I dont want to risk contacting COVID-19. I was told that because their tech was not exposed to the illness, there was no need for the tech to wear a mask, even at my request. I informed the operations manager ( whom emailed me to set up the appointment) of the request the governor has made to Coloradoans to wear a mask while out of their home and during conducting essential business and she still refused and suggested I request the work order be given to a different business! I dont know what business wouldnt accommodate a small request to wear a mask amid an epidemic and to keep business in the wake of so many other businesses struggling to stay open right now. It blows my mind and I would not recommend anyone doing business with them as they do not have the customers best interest in mind.

Appliance Works has come out twice, once to look at the dishwasher and the second time was to put in the new parts and so far my dishwasher is working great. Dryer is under warranty and they set me up with these guys. They emailed me to schedule a time and date for repairs. They emailed me to confirm date time within 24hrs. They called 10 minutes before repair man showed up and they emailed me the next day to ensure I was satisfied with the repair work and service. Appliance Works staff was very accommodating in setting up an appointment for a service tech to troubleshoot and repair an issue with my GE Profile side-by-side refrigerator. Tech arrived within the timeframe scheduled, quickly diagnosed the problem and had the issue corrected in less than 30 minutes. Worst experience ever. My refrigerator had a water leak. I called our home warranty company they stuck me with Appliance Works. They were several hours late arriving at my home. The gentleman that showed up was nice enough... he made the repair and left. I went out of town the next day for 4 days. During that time the water line broke again and leaked into my basement causing hardwood damage in my kitchen and ceiling damage in my basement. I called Appliance Works out again to assess the damage they caused to my home. The same repairman came out. He led me to believe that they would be taking care of the damage they caused. I was provided their insurance company information. Several weeks went by and I finally heard from their insurance company (The Hartford) In the end Appliance Works lied to their insurance company which led the insurance company to denie my claim. It cost me $1700 to fix the damage to my house caused by Appliance Works. My fridge water still doesn’t work..... Small claims court is my next step. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

DO NOT USE IF YOU EXPECT SOMEONE TO DIAGNOSIS & FIX AN ISSUE THE 1ST TIME. We have a home warrenty that gave this company the ticket. They came out the tech did very little testing. The fridge was a common issue that we already knew the dishwasher wasnt sure. For testing he pressed buttons & said he was ordering parts. Didnt pull the dishwasher out or anything to test it. The buttons worked just fine. He replaced a circuit bored that was for the buttons. We figuired out that it was a inlet valave. We now have to wait for another repair company to come out and do the repairs this company didnt. They also REFUSED to come out when the fridge part came to do that repair. Then LIED to the home warrenty company stating it was a SCHEDULING CONFLICT. THE CONFLICT WAS ON THEIR SIDE NOT OURS. I have no idea how they have more than 1 or 2 stars on here & any A rating with the BBB. If you warrenty company gives you them let them know you want another company.

I had to deal with company because my home warranty company stuck me with this company. I sent me a repairman that didnt have the proper training to repair a refrigerator. I had to call them two more times before they admitted that he wasnt trained in putting refrigerant into the appliance. My former warranty company wouldnt let me have another repairman or company. In the end, they sent me a repairman from another company and my refrigerator was finally diagnosed with the proper diagnosis of leaking refrigerant, and I got a new refrigerator. The repairman from Ramey Appliance Repair said that he cleans up the work done by Appliance Works two and three times a week.

I would never use this company again, the only reason I have used them is because they are a vendor with my home warranty service. The first time we used them, our refrigerator was not working. The tech came out and all he did was running a thawing tool in the refrigerator which did not fix the problem. We had to have a tech from another company out and it turned out that the refrigerator was not fixable and needed replaced.In November, 2018, we had Appliance Works out to fix our microwave. The tech told us that parts needed to be ordered and he would be back. About 2 weeks later he returned with the parts. He installed what was supposed to be a new magnetron and left. 2 days later the microwave was not working again. I called and was told the part was defective and a new one needed to be ordered. The tech returned on 11/24 and installed another part. This time, in handling the microwave the tech broke off the bottom part of the door handle which he denied.I called the office manager to tell her they needed to replace the handle that the tech broke and she became very abusive and unprofessional and refused to replace the handle. We sent her the pictures of the damage and she promised to call back and never did. Do not use this company.

Let me start by saying you should never trust or go with Appliance Works to “work(scam, lie)” for you. They are rude, self centered instead of customer centered, very dishonest, and lazy. This is the place our home warranty decided we use to fix our fridge and let me say they were HORRIBLE. The first time they came to our home the man who came was grumpy and rude- which wouldnt be a big deal if he knew how to do his job, but that he did NOT know how to do. Our control panel as well as the cooling and heating in ur fridge was completely shot, we told him of this and all he did was look at the fridge for 5 minutes or less and say that we needed to clean out the coils under the fridge. He offered to clean them for us for 100 dollars (scammers). We thought that was very weird, but we listened to him and did it anyways. After doing that we call the company and spoke with the front gal—Irina. She shared that the electricity to the fridge might come back on 24-48 hours after cleaning the coils. I am not a rocket scientist, but I am smart enough to know that cleaning the coils on the fridge arent going to bring electricity to the control panel. We shared all of this with her and she went on to argue with us and said they would be back out 48 hours later to look at the fridge again. We then called her 48 hrs later and once again she blamed the problem on something that would have nothing to do with why the control panel and rest of the fridge wasnt working- she went on to blame the problem on not having a good water filter. After feeling like we were being fed lies, we called multiple Appliance companies to see if either the water filter or the coils would afffect the issue we were having they all agreed that Appliance Works was wrong. We called them back and tried to explain this to them and the gal up front ignored what we were saying, talked over us, and said once we replaced our filter they would be back in 48 hrs to really see whats was wrong. My husband and i were so fed up as we have a family to feed and already had been living out of a cooler for almost a week, so we called Sears. The Sears appliance man was wonderful!!! He spent 45 minutes diagnosing the problem, ordered the part and even shower us how too install the part to save us money. All along it was the control board that was out, hence why there wasn’t electricity too the fridge. After finding this out i called back Appliance works to tell them we got it figured out and explain to them why we were upset with them, i shared that sears came out and told her what they found the problem was (shouldn’t have told her that). As soon as we ended the conversation Irina from Appliance works sent our home warranty a diagnostic report, stating that THEIR technician found the problem and stated what it was. I was mortified after hearing this from our home warranty. Irina flat out LIED to make it seem like her technician was the one who discovered the issue. I called her back and confronted her about this and she kept trying to make what she did okay and say her technician knew that was the problem all along. If he did Know that was the problem all along why did they keep blaming the issue on other things? They did that becuase they were trying to scam us and get as much money as they could before they really had to fix the underlying problem. This was an awful experaince and after reading the other reviews it seems like the way we got treated happens to their “customers” often. Please never trust or allow them into your home.

Rude, Rude, Rude! We had this company out to out home twice to repair our dryer as it wasnt tumbling properly. The first visit out my husband had to send the model number to them before they would make the appointment. He was at work and had to wait till he got home. By this time they had closed for the day. He ended up emailing the gal who sets the appointments. They had a few conversations, all where she was very rude. Guy shows up to fix dryer, fiddles with it and says its working fine. No clothes in it so that is why it was tumbling. So we wait a while call them back to say, its still not working. The gal in office tells me they cant come out for a while but we schedule anyway. The day of appt.the repair guy, same Russin guy as before calls and says hell be to our home in 20 minutes. Great, I had arranged for someone to be home for their very wide time frame. Then the gal from office, also Russian, called and said they needed to reschedule due to a bad accident in the highway and it would take too long and miss the other appt that where closer to repair guy. I through a fit and said that was unacceptable, this would be their second time out and there where alternate routes he could use to get to our home. She said she would figure it out and he would be there. He does show up but again states that there us nothing wrong with it. My son who is home calls his dad and explains what the repair guys has said. My husband gets on the phone talks to repairs guys. Repair says this in a rude manor.. I will check it, 3 ,4, 20 times and still it is ok. Finally after a brief argument the repair guy leaves. We still had to pay the service fee. Two days later we had Sears come our and immediately he says we needed a new belt. Working great now. Apparently my dryer isnt high end enough to warrant a thorough inspection and repair by this company.

Very rude on the phone,10 minutes before arriving, after rescheduling, they say I have to unstack my unit myself,they could have said it 2 weeks ago ,so another reschedule and another week till me and my 3 boys have clean clothes.
