Our AC went out over the 4th of July weekend. I called as soon as Rocky Mountain opened for business and a technician was scheduled for the next day. Steve immediately identified the problem and ordered the part which he replaced the following day. The cost of the part and labor was very reasonable and we are are enjoying a cool house again. I was in the market for a new furnace, possibly a new A/C unit also. I was referred to Rocky Mountain Climate from a neighbor. Jason was very friendly and professional at the initial appointment. I told him up front that he was my 3rd appointment and I just needed to know what was the differences between TRANE and the other manufactures. He was very diligent and took his time to explain it to me. After looking at the numbers, financing options and locality of the shop, I decided to go with Rocky Mountain Climate.I called the offiec several time and worked with Ashley and Frankie. They were great and patient with me. Since I was doing the financing option, I wanted to know all the specifics before moving forward. Schduling was a breeze and they were very accommodating due to some previous commitments that I already had.The installers called me the morning of my schedule date, to tell me that they were on their way. The office/shop is 5 minutes away from my residence. Pretty convenient. LOL!!! They showed up on time, as well as the electrician, and were very friendly, courteous and professional! They were great to work with and answered my questions when asked of. The install took a good part of the day.My overall experience with Rocky mountain Climate was GREAT and would definitely recommend them!!! They were great to work with and was very pleased that I chose them.

Rocky Mountain Climate is very professional and always on time. We have been using them for over 3 years for both inspecting our furnace and AC. We also had them install a house humidifier, which has made a huge difference in our house with the dry Colorado weather. Just had central AC installed in my bungalow, couldnt be happier! The entire experience from estimate to install was effectively communicated, fairly priced, and well performed. I couldnt be home the day of the install due to last minute changes in my schedule, but I always felt comfortable with them in my home. I have been in my house for 14 years and our furnace/AC have never seemed to work right. Cold in the winter and warm in the summer.....furnace going all the time. Repeatedly had multiple different HVAC companies out to troubleshoot the problem. Very minimal air coming out of any of the registers. Every time......Furnace and AC look good......which they did and still do. Decided to try again with Rocky Mtn Climate as it was time to get the annual service anyway. They come out, take the time to listen......see that the furnace is working hard so continue to look for source of the problem. Come to find out, our furnace has multiple zones controlled by dampers. Damper to main level stuck closed. Appeared from outside the vents to be working but visual inspection showed clearly it wasnt. Replaced that and voila........Heat instantly. Powerful air from registers. Ticks me off how long Ive been in the house without this properly working....just glad they found the problem and I found a company I can trust. When it comes time to replace my actual furnace and AC, I know who I will call. Thanks a ton

Unsure what I paid for...For furnace maintenance, no cleaning or repair work performed and the guy didnt take his shoes off...left insulation on my floors; didnt pick up after himself. Again, for under maybe 15 min and over $100 not sure what was done.

Contacted 8 HVAC companies for a quote on a replacement furnace and new central air conditioning system. Excellent experience, honest advise and wonderful service! We have a single split A/C unit that wasnt cooling and not blowing sufficient air. Gene, one the technicians came out and gave me great advice and only charged me the service call - but gave me so much information! He had to come out again because the issue was bigger than we both thought, but the customer service is excellent and prompt and Gene came right back out with no fee. When he had to do some major work on the unit, they scheduled Gene to be out here all day. Not only did he fix our problem 100%, but gave us so much information that most people would charge for. Highly recommend! It is very hard to find good and honest service now a days and I will definitely be calling them again when we need help with our heat or a/c in the future. Thank you!!

My wife and I decided to have a low intensity infrared tube heater installed in our home garage as we needed the ability to maintain normal room temperatures due to some equipment I store and use in my job. We called several heating and cooling companies and most either never called back, came out to do an estimate, or came out and gave an outrageous quote for the work. When we called the folks at Rocky Mountain Climate, they came out very quickly and assessed our needs. Craig and Bob were awesome to work with. They gave us a good quote later the same day and their installers they sent were awesome. Our unit was installed properly, passed city code inspections with no problems and now our garage is just as comfortable as the inside of our home, which is what we needed. I now have my go to company for any future heating/cooling service needs!!

Techs did a good job but when I changed out the furnace filters I found lot of dust in the bottom of the intake vents in the upper and lower furnances.

When my water heater went out (on a Saturday) I first called the company that installed my original one knowing that I may have an issue as the new water heaters were going to be too big for my current space. While they were responsive and called me back first thing Monday - I talked to a sales guy who simply had me measure the doorway. It was determined it was too small but that he could quote me for a smaller water heater - and he never called back. I then called Rocky Mountain as I had them out for furnace tune-ups before and they were always very pleasant. I did not have to take measurements, instead they sent Craig out that same morning. Craig went above and beyond to get me a new water heater including arranging for the city and plumbers to come out as my water meter had to be moved to fit the new heater. I had everything installed by Friday afternoon the same week. During this time Craig was very apologetic as he actually felt bad that I had no hot water, nor by Tues had any shower water. The installers were wonderful as well! Very professional and thorough. There was one issue where they had to come back out to take off some tape for inspection and Wayne (I think was his name) noticed my door to closet of heater was loose and fixed that for me. Cannot say enough great things about this company and they certainly will be my first and last call for any future heating/cooling needs. Thanks so much for going the extra mile Rocky Mountain!

There are good companies and not so good ones, I feel very fortunate to have found Rocky Mountain Climate to install our new furnace when a roof leak required us to replace it in 2013.I understand this is a family owned business and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the time, effort and dedication they had for me and my home. During the install process I felt like I was their highest priority and they were there until the job was complete and I was satisfied. A lot of companies out there treat customers like cattle, “get them in get them out”. Not this one!November 2017 I called them to service evaluate, and clean the unit for the sale of my home. As always the service and dedication was exceptional. I was scheduled next day, not weeks out and the service was above and beyond.Like I said there are good companies and not so good ones, this one has been EXCEPTIONAL for me. I wish I could have them available for all my HVAC needs at my new home, unfortunately we are out of the area.

This place was awesome, the first place i called told me I needed a new furnace and would cost me 4000 dollars, called rocky mountain climate and the guy came out and fixed my heater within approx 3 minutes he knew exactly what was wrong, took the time to explain alot of things to me I didnt know and gave me a great price! Rocky Mountain Climate is an amazing company! They installed and serviced by AC and have helped with minor repairs along the way (like a small gas leak at my furnace--which they did not install). Their customer service is prompt and positive. I have no complaints and will continue to use them for my HVAC needs.

Really struggled with this review; if I were basing it strictly on friendliness, cost, quality of product, and desire to do well theyd get 5 stars. Overall work is 4, and other issues would come out at 1-3 stars. Hired them to install central AC. They originally said it would take 2 days since my furnace is backwards but it only took one - nice surprise. Fit me in quickly and called when they were on their way. Honest and trustworthy - I would not hesitate to leave them alone in my house if Id had to.HOWEVER, there were some issues. 1) My unit failed inspection because a seal was done from the inside (which is fine) but not labeled so the inspector had no way of knowing it had been done (usually they leave a note). 2) A pipe was not screwed in (not super important as did not affect functioning but still should have been done). 3) A brace was not put over the vent, which is usually done to prevent a thumping noise when the unit turns off and on. (They did fix this when they came back out to check the seal, and they came back quickly.) 4) Right after installation a lot of air was coming out of the furnace - but I had to bring it up to the tech for him to add another seal to it. 5) One of the techs parked in my new driveway and his vehicle leaked oil and antifreeze on it. He did put dirt on it which absorbed quite a bit, owned up to it right away, and another tech pressure washed it for me when he came back to fix the inspection issues. However, its still stained despite his best efforts. My previously flawless, beautiful new driveway. 6) I had actually tried to cancel the post inspection visit as Id had an emergency (car accident), but there was apparently a communication glitch and the tech showed up anyway. There was no phone call that he was on his way and he arrived 30 minutes early - with me just out of the shower and in my pjs.

Very warm business, good for keeping house at best comfy temperature. The technician man do great work on me furnace to ensure long successful operation. Front desk woman help so much with everything for hot and cold house air, will tell everyone I speak to for next 11.5 days that they must go to the Rocky Mountian cold/warm house company to do all HVAC work. I buy nice gift basket or equal gift for this wonderful family business in Colorado Springs.

Once he fully diagnosed the situation, he determined that a faulty relay was the culprit and not the much more expensive repair we anticipated. They were able to get out to me in a timely manner, but charged me $125 when I purchased a new AC system just 6 months ago. The AC stopped. Now it ended up being the blower motor, which is not part of the AC system. Yet, it seems their labor warranty is nonexistent. I have had them come out twice since I got a new AC system. They didnt finish the install properly and didnt test it in January when they installed it. I also wanted a new furnace instead of blower motor and asked for a quote...it took them 6 days to give me a quote meanwhile my family, one an infant, was suffering in a 91 degree house...waiting on a quote. I decided to go with another company who made time for me and my family. Never had to chase down a quote before this.

Weve been using Rocky Mountain Climate for years. The folks that weve dealt with have always been honest and knowledgeable on heating, air conditioning, energy efficiency and humidity. Weve used them for everything from a standard service inspection to installing a whole furnace and highly recommend them.

They gave us a 2 hour time window, and the tech was actually early! (Called first of course.) They found a part that another company had replaced with a cheap part, and they replaced it right away with the original factory part. We are very happy with their service, and well use them for many years to come!
