The staff is extremely friendly and personable. Pam has been doing my nails a lot recently and she is quick, yet very detailed. They ombré nails are amazing, acrylic sets are great. Pedicures are great. I love this place so much. I’ve been coming for about 4 years now. Tried many other places. Nothing compares honestly.

I have been a customer of Annie’s for almost 5 years now. She is AMAZING! I have gotten regular manicures and pedicures, dip powder, gel, and my fiancé has even gotten spa pedicures here because he loves the service. Annie never does a bad job and if anything ever does happen, she ALWAYS asks me to come back so she can fix it. I trust her 100% to help me pick my colors and nail length when I’m not sure. She really is just so wonderful at her job. She asks about my family, takes a genuine interest in her clients and makes sure I am happy before I even get up to pay. She works so hard! I have been getting my nails done for a long time, no one holds a candle to Annie. She’s that good!All of the ladies and gentlemen that work here are kind and professional, the salon is always clean and the prices are fair. There’s really no better place you can go!

I accidentally used my husband’s account for this rating hence a male’s name.Over the weekend, I got my nails done with the mood color changing nail polish. I’ve gotten a couple of compliments on the nail colors changes (especially since it’s cold outside right now) and my coworkers are HUGE fans. I was playing with the color changes at the sink with the cold water and recording a video to show a friend. A staff member thought that was so funny.This shop is so clean compared to other locations. My manicurist was Danny and you can tell how detail oriented he is with his work observing every nail one by one to ensure perfection.I only get my nails done once in awhile as a treat and this was such a nice treat with a simple manicure. I will definitely come here again!

I have been coming here for over a year. Never had any issue. My nails are always done with perfection. My pedicure and eyebrows the same. I have never left disappointed. They take their time and make sure the customer is happy. They also give suggestions if the color is not a good color for what you want done.The staff is professional and always greet you when you come in! And I noticed just yesterday they know the majority of the customers by their names. If you live in the area I suggest you try them you will be amazed and the results!!

I got my nails done here with my bridesmaids and they did an amazing job!Danny did my nails for my wedding and it was BETTER than the Pinterest picture I showed him. You can tell that he cares about his work looking closely at each nail and comparing your hands (ie left pinky to right pinky) to make sure they match in length and colors. I got the pink and white acrylics (with the glitter) and it was the icing on the cake with my wedding dress.Annie did my pedicure. Although no one was looking at my feet with my huge dress, she did an amazing job. I felt like a queen while she did my feet and talked with me about my wedding.A lot of people commented on my nails throughout the day before the wedding. While I was dropping things off at the venue, a woman at the helping me with my wedding made an appointment with them for the following week. She was so impressed and wanted a new place to try.I come here for all of my nail and eyebrow wax needs and the workers are always wonderful to talk with. They make you feel welcomed and don’t shuffle through their customers like other salons do. I couldn’t be happier with their business. Great prices and worth every penny.If I have any pictures of my nails from my photographer, I will post them. The place was mediocre. Not very good communication between the staff. Had a 9:30am appt and was tended to right away. I did a Cat Eye design and the lady who was doing my nails had never done it before so I was her guinea pig. It came out a little better than okay and she was really sweet and friendly. My toes came out better than the place I went to previously. I did a gel cat eye mani and a reg pedi and it was $56. This place isnt bad, but Im not sure if it would be my first option.I also had a hard time looking it up since so many Friendly Nails would show up online. I matched the address with the number I had called. Although I went to Friendly Nails ll, their card says Friendly Nails lll.

Since moving to NJ several months ago, Ive been struggling to find a good nail salon. Most are overpriced and have very inexperienced techs. I am so glad I was referred to this place! Danny is a professional and is incredibly talented. He did the best acrylic set Ive ever gotten. I cannot wait to try their spa pedicure. Customer for life!

Do not Go here I got my nails done on a Tuesday on Friday morning one of my nails started lifting and then eventually popped off the next day two more nails popped off. It’s now six days since I got them done and literally all of them are lifting I’m gonna take them off and go get a new set somewhere else horrible they must use very cheap products.

Went in yesterday, March 9, 2017, for the first time. I had heard good things about here and after receiving bad experiences time after time in my old nail salon I decided to try it out. I walked in, so I didnt have an appointment, they were welcoming and sweet, the wait wasnt really a wait, maybe 5-10 minutes and I was seen by Pam. A sweet lady, who knew every customer who walked in, and they all seemed to be her client. She was incredibly welcoming, nice and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know about me. I liked that they had Food Network on and I could hear the TV, which made me watch the TV more than I was watching her, which I felt comfortable doing cause she was incredible. I wasnt in pain, I wasnt worried about the outcome, which is stuff I had experienced at my old salon. I asked abojty upcoming vacation and if I would be good to come back before vacation, in 3 weeks, or if it would be too early for a full, she suggested I come in the day or two before I leave but to make an appointment with her, so that I didnt have to wait. She gave me a loyalty card with her name on it as well. She even finished up my manicure with lotion and a hand massage! I cant wait to go back for my pedicure and fill right before I leave for vacation. Pam is amazing, but everyone seemed so nice and sweet. The price was way cheaper than where I was going and the service and end result was way better! I will recommend all my friends and family there! If your looking for a great result and good prices, check them out! You wont regret it!

She messed up my eyebrows. I now have 2 different size and shape eyebrows. They didn’t offer to fix the eyebrows and just said “they look very nice and I don’t know what you had before she did them”. He was implying my eyebrows were already messed up when I arrived. Save your time and money.

Very nice salon. Danny is awesome! Everybody is friendly and professional. Hannah is a terrific manicurist! She is fast and skilled. I am always pleased with my manicures and pedicures👍

I am beyond angry and disappointed. Not even half an hour ago I left the salon without words to describe my experience. To begin, they changed the price of the nails twice from the initial price I asked and found out about on the phone prior. I asked for coffin shape and the man doing it was struggling to make all nails consistent and look distinctly close to the actual coffin shape. I asked him twice to fix the shape and he didn’t acknowledge it until I was fed up and asked again at the very end where he said it looked even to him after slightly filing it.It took quite some time to even get the shape proper, which I wouldn’t have mind had it been correct and proper. My thumbs look like the square shape and my middle fingers and pointer fingers on both hands look like almond with an uneven tip. I am so upset. To top it all off, the polish is uneven and you can see the brush strokes clearly and it was smudged on my left thumb.The place however was clean and the location is convenient which surprises me on how a mediocre job they did. Service seemed friendly enough, nothing special. However I will not be coming back, it was not worth the $33 I paid and if I can rate the nails alone I would barely give 1 star.Will not be coming back again, do not recommend at all. Save your money, it is not worth the pay, service, nor the wait. 2/5 at best and that is pushing it.

The best nail salon in the area!! When i moved to this area i tried several nail salons in the area and finally found Friendly Nails II...Thank You!!! Danny the owner is the best and all the girls are great. I love that they are open on Sunday!! Give them a try you will not be disappointed i have never had my nails last so long or look so good!!

Best prices around! Comfortable atmosphere. Call in before! It gets busy. Danny, Annie and Hana are some of the best.

AVOID-TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My nails began cracking only 2 days after the dip powder/SNS. After only 7 days-5 of the nails cracked! Salon was closed for 4 of the days. I finally return on their first day open and they were not able to fix anything. Manager is SO unprofessional on top of it! Proof is in the willingness to fix the customers nails. Unless you are willing to give your money to a thief.... or dont want your nails to last...I definitely would NOT recommend for people to come here!

I did a walk-in today for a fill in and pedicure. I was seated for a pedicure shortly. Once my pedicure was complete she asked if I wanted to wait where I was. I said sure. 15 minutes later she comes to me and says an appointment came early. She then asks if I could wait or come back at 5. Which was 40 mins later! I asked why should I have to wait because someone came early. She didnt even have the decency to answer. I think said it out loud so all of the workers could hear me and NO ONE answered. That is rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate. They have lost me and all referrals associated with me. I left without getting all of the services I came in and asked for when I first walked in. Its not as if I waited until my pedicure was completed to ask for something extra. Never again will I step foot in this salon. For it to be called friendly nails....the majority of the staff isnt friendly. The owner is but he wasnt there today. Go figure

I came to this salon yesterday evening. The woman doing my nails would not listen to anything i said and seemed annoyed that she even had to do my nails. I hate to complain about places but this was truly a horrible experience. Think twice before you come here.. I wanted acrylic tips and my gel polish removed. My naild were not even soaked. She just decided to filed the polish off, which is so bad for your nails. She asked me why I wanted acrylic and that I should just get gel again. I told her my nails were short and I wanted them longer. She then decided to start applying acrylic to my nails without the extensions. I told her I wanted my nails longer, the entire reason i wanted acrylics. She rolled her eyes at me and took the acrylic off the 1 nail she had just done and put on the extensions. She did not cut my cuticles. My nails look awful, the acrylic is uneven and so thick. 2 of my nails are misshapen and crooked. The topcoat wasnt applied properly and you can clearly see that she missed spots. I now have to go out of town with my nails looking horrible.

Great place staff is friendly. My girlfriend and I both came for a foot spa pedi. Both really enjoy it They do a great job and good foot massage and relaxation. Of course I pay 40 and women pay 35 but worth it.

The service was very quick. She would not do what I asked, and was very impatient and short with me. I have arthritis in my hands and they cramp up, and she would toss my hand away and roll her eyes.She did no prep at ALL to my nails, she just went straight at them with a dermel and it hurt my already chewed up cuticles (I pick at them). She also did NOT take a new file out for me, which is very unsanitary.I’m very disappointed in my nails, and I’m very embarrassed. I asked for gel and she gave me acrylic. I don’t treat myself often and I feel as though I just paid money to be uncomfortable and dissatisfied. The nails are all different shapes. I asked for the ”squared oval” and she gave me 90 degree box nails. The color isn’t what I asked for, and I did speak up and ask for it to be different and she continued with how she wanted to do them.I’m sure they do nice work, but I didn’t receive any of that. It was a very rushed service.UPDATE: It’s been four days and my nails have such severe gapping and I have discoloration under my nails that appear to be fungus. It looks like they haven’t been filled in a month and they’re literally four days old. I DO NOT want to come back here under these unsanitary and unsafe conditions. I do not care if they will be fixed for free my nails are in physical pain and they gave me a possible fungal infection from refusing to use sterile instruments. Pam is completely unprofessional and I feel so disgusted and slighted. DO NOT GO HERE

The guy was friendly, other than that I got a fill and gel polish. Ive never had gel last less than a week, let alone less than a day. I went Friday and by Friday night after doing next to nothing my polish was half off. I went back Saturday, they redid it, but still it was just like Friday. Saturday while my nails were drying under the regular dryer he points to the OPI drier (THAT WAS NOT BEING USED) and says opi polish only really dries well under that, next time pick a different kind of polish. That wouldve been nice to know before he painted my nails the first or second time 🙃

I really, really wanted to like this place. Im desperate to find a good nail salon in the neighborhood and unfortunately, Friendly Nails II isnt it. I came for a simple mani + pedi, there was a short wait and the pedicure was fine. For some reason, I always seem to get the older lady who doesnt speak English. She did a good job with the pedicure but it was very frustrating when I couldnt communicate that I wanted my nails shaped round, not square. And that Id grown them out to keep them long, not cut down. After painting my nails, she instructed me to put them in front of the fan. When I pulled them away, they were a mess. She couldnt see the issue- the top coat had wrinkled and bunched up and the polish was now uneven everywhere. She tried to fix it by putting more polish on top...which obviously just made it worse. The owner finally came over and while he saw the issue with some of the nails, I had the point out the pretty obvious issues on every one. The top coat was especially bunched up on my thumb nail and when I tried to explain that I didnt want it to look like that, he really asked me what dont you want it to look like?. Im still upset about this. I just wanted to treat myself to a nice manicure and instead I got a messy one and then berated when I asked for it to be fixed. The owner said that he would fix them and he did, but it was clear they were annoyed they had to address the issue at all. He then said it was my fault for putting my nails in front of the fan because the top coat used on my nails requires the light machine- but I was never told that? I told him that the lady told me to use the fans and he said oh she didnt know. Im sorry but what???The manicure looks fine now but it wasnt worth the money or feeling unwelcome. It was botched and then rushed. It wouldve been better if I had just done them myself. Might be an ok place to stop by if youre looking for a quick pedicure but Im sure theres better places. The owner seemed very surprised when I still gave him a tip so that should speak for itself.

So I always go to Perth Amboy for my nails.. Though Id try a new place closer to my house. Okay so I called and asked about pieces and it seemed fine so I went in. I was going in to get a gel manicure . The lady who did my nails.. she didnt take off any dead skin it was still visible. Which really annoyed me so I told her to clean up the dead skin but I guess she just wasnt understanding me.. okay so whatever I let it go then they charged me $5 extra to remove my old gel polish which was crazy because Ive never been charged to removed polish. So over all I dont recommend this place

Worst nail salon Ive been to. I was work on by 3 different people and it seem like they only focus on their regulars. My polish was smudged after it was dried in the gel machine and the painting was sloppy. The simplest design couldnt be done. Never going to this place again.

Only nail place I go to and get my gel manicure done. Wendy is the best but the rest are also awesome!!

Horrible! I called earlier to let her know Ill be walking in at 6 or 7 they said ok and when I got in at 650 they said I think were closed like really lady?? And I was a customer who went every 3 - 4 weeks there! Now one to look for a new nail salon and taking my family with me!!
