We were visiting from out of town and we ended up with a shredded tire. They found us when the match and fit us in their busy schedule to get it swapped out in less than a day. We are very grateful for them fitting us in their busy schedule and getting us on our way!

I was quoted 98.00 got diagnostic fee,after 2 days they called and said it would be 409 more dollars to just diagnosis the problem! It was a check engine light and wanted ,500 dollars to find out whats wrong. Thru never figured out the problem but still insisted I pay the 98.00 dollar fee for no information! Terrible device the manager told me to call the news and tell them because he lives being in the news! Stay away!

Ed runs a good operation. The repair work is done right and with respect for the customers time. Worth giving Master Auto Repair a try.

Afton is the girl in front she is always so sweet and gets answers when I have questions. Bill, Ryan, and Jason are great at explaining what my vehicle needs and why.

Master Auto Repair was recommended by a friend. I spoke with a mechanic before I brought my car to the shop, explaining that Im not in a hurry, I just dont want to over pay. After a quick analysis, engine was unrepairable, costing $98. I wish I would have been told upfront that was cost to look at the vehicle. Also beware of the 2.5% fee accessed for using a credit card, thank fully I used debit. I would recommend going somewhere else, I wish I had.

Did not meet my expectations for a simple mount job when I brought them a wheel. They ruined my 20 wheel & tried to blame it on me and got away with it. Once burned twice shy!!!!

Cant attest to quality of work because they cancelled, but their scheduling is horrid. Emailed prior to inquire about an alignment costs. Was given a rough quote. Showed up and setup an appointment a week prior. Scheduled to have work off. They called me a day before to let me know that other big jobs came in and stated they would call me in a week to reschedule. They never did, so i went to Ralph and Sons and had the work done same day for a better price. Wont be using these guys.

Absolutely the best auto repair I have ever been to. I live almost an hour away but will drive to this location because the service is so amazing. They didnt replace my brakes even though I was told by another shop months ago my brakes were coming due in a few months. The guys at Master Auto Repair looked at them and told me the TRUTH was that I had over 50% life on all of my brakes. Just absolutely standup business people. Wont go anywhere else. Extremely great pricing to boot!

I recently switched from a 96 saturn station wagon to a hybrid and needed some breakwork done. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are honest and the work is great quality. I also had a maintenance light that needed checked. They had everything fixed and ready the same day. I was called each step of the way. I would highly recommend Master Auto Repair.

💯 quick and 💯 reliable. Had my bearings blow out. They set me up with a tow and then found that my sway bar was cracked. Informed me of the problem and had my truck fixed in 2 days. Also found the best deal on parts. My vehicle will only go to this shop for everything from tires to repairs. Trustworthy buisiness in my opinion. Love these Guys

I have had both of my cars serviced at Master Auto Repair and have found the staff very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The repairs were made while I waited and were timely. They would have given me a loaner car had I wanted or needed one, but as it turned out, I had the time to wait. Not many shops will do that today. I also appreciate the free roadside assistance for 12 months since my last service, and the coupons for a discount on my next service. I will definitely be back!

I have been around several different shops in Collinsville, and this is the only place where I feel I was treated fairly and with respect. My car had an issue that could have easily been exaggerated and I would have never known the difference. They charged me fifty bucks for something I was expecting to pay five or six hundred for. These guys are honest and do an excellent job. I will be recommending them to whomever needs a car repair. Thanks again guys !

I have taken my car to Master Auto Repair several times and have always had excellent service. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. I have never had a difficult time getting an appointment and they have always worked with my schedule. I havent had to use their loaner car service as yet but it is a great feature!My parents use them also and have always been pleased with the work they do.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Setting an appointment was quick and my services were complete in a reasonable amount of time. I walked to a nearby restaurant for breakfast and it was done shortly after I had finished my meal.

I used to go here a lot but I had a couple of bad experiences and stopped. The one that stood out was I picked up my car and there was a check engine light on that wasnt on when I took it in. They didnt say anything when I paid, when I went to ask about it after I noticed as I started the car the mechanic was really aggressive and said it was like that when I brought it in. I said I think I would have noticed he called me a liar and showed me on the inspection form he saw the light. They were telling me it was going to be $250 just to diagnose the issue, meanwhile I noticed that theyd unplugged a sensor to the air filter probably when they did the inspection. I plugged it in, the light went off. Pretty shady, especially for a repeat customer I thought.

Great people work here. I took in an old 1972 351C block because of some stuck bolts I couldnt get with my tools at home. They got it off with no problem, they didnt charge me for anything. I had planned on paying for the use of the tool and a few minutes but they wouldnt let me. Definitely where I am taking my business from now on.

I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. Not only are they professional, they know you by name. One of the things I like is they offer a courtesy car if you need one. This is a big selling point with me. Plus, they dont pressure you into getting things fixed. They explain what the problem is and explain your options. They are honest people. When they do an oil change, they will look over your car and let you know what things you may want to be made aware of. They currently work on all 4 of my families cars. GREAT PEOPLE. GREAT BUSINESS.

My boyfriend and I were driving home to Chicago from St. Louis when we saw black smoke coming from under the hood of the car. We looked for an auto repair in close proximity and found Master Auto Repair. Despite the short notice, they were kind enough to squeeze us in and have the repairs completed that very day. Turns out there was a large oil leak that caused oil to spew out all over the engine. Being from out of town and crunched for time, it would have been easy for them to take advantage of our situation and rip us off, but the itemized bill was fair with no suspicious charges. When we first got back on the road, we noticed the car temperature indicator shooting up, so we took it back in. They quickly reexamined the car and fixed the problem. We were back on the road again and made it to Chicago with no issues. We recommend Master Auto Repair for their kind, professional, and efficient service.

OK customer service and they stand behind their work for a year. Be warned sometimes they add fees to your bill that no one told you about but they wont waive.

I have been doing Business with Ed Starns (Manager) for almost 25 years now following him everywhere that he worked and have trusted him with every vehicle I owned/own ever since, even company vehicles where I work. Ed along with Kevin & John (Service Advisors) and the rest of the crew in the shop (I wish I could name them all) have never steered me wrong. I can assure you unlike other repair shops when they come back to you from the shop with the estimate in thier hand they are showing you things that Need to be repaired or replaced, not things they Want to replace just to make an extra buck. I have the upmost faith in these guys and never had to second guess them on Anything. Another thing they offer that I have never experienced anywhere else, they offered me a loaner car to use while mine was being worked on, not that I needed it because they always have me out in the most expedient manner, find that somewhere else??? I highly recommend Master Auto Repair no matter what side of the River you are on, I also challenge anyone to find a better deal for money spent, Im thankful I have the one in Collinsville and greatful for Customer Service and work Quality these guys put out as a final product.Thanks to The Team :-)
