I love a natural nail! I came to Nail Lab because my nails had gotten healthy during Covid, and I wanted to keep them that way. I tried other salons and always felt pressured to get services I didnt want. BUT NOT AT NAIL LAB!!! Everyone is willing to work with me to keep my natural nails healthy and looking beautiful. They have a very friendly and professional staff. Plus, I love the look and feel of the salon. Its a clean, warm and relaxing environment. I highly recommend Nail Lab! A very honest review from someone already in the beauty industry:As someone in this industry I am very picky, I hate to complain but after visiting the nail lab I was really disappointed. I did not once see anyone sanitize or disinfect anything not even their hands. Even after another nail tech had finished with another person.... she did not clean her tools before putting them away. Maybe she disinfects them before service but that’s still a breeding ground for bacteria. In school they teach you all about infection control and disorders and diseases (Via milady’s books). There were some cuts on my toes which is worrisome due to lack of visible sanitation. When she put the lotion on me she touched me, pulled out a jar of lotion, stuck her hands directly in the jar and put it on me. Big sanitation NO NO! My nails look decent but the price I paid for an extreme basic pedicure and manicure (that didn’t even include exfoliation and included contaminated lotion) was really expensive. I paid $60 and $12.60 for a tip out of pity and the website says $45..... I’m extremely disappointed with my first and last visit from the nail lab. I even told the girl I was in school and a manager for a spa.... that should be your first clue to follow the rule book. At the end the technicians all sat on their phone and even checked me out while texting.... unprofessional and disappointing.

Who talks to people like that? So condescending and almost bully-like. An obvious lack of experience delivering decent customer service and shouldnt be anyones boss. Calling all bad reviews FAKE, if anything the good reviews are fake.I feel so sorry for the workers and customers.If only the owner had an ounce of empathy.

Whenever I wanted “nail art” I’d drive here, 40-50 minutes depending on traffic and I was happy each time. No lies.Last time, I came by for Halloween nails. Now I always paid around 50-55 for those nails here, when the standard dip nails were 40-45 anywhere else. I’m an artist myself so it never bothered me- you get what you pay. But this time I was charged $120- let me break that down to you, a hundred and twenty - and after the little shock I had, because I was not expecting that amount - I accidentally tipped them too 😂 That rounded up to $140 and I didn’t even get my pedicures!Now... the first nails I paid for looked like a poor wax job... all photos attached below. They looked nothing like the inspiration nails I found on “Pinterest” - and it was an epic Pinterest fail I paid 120 for. Then I had to tell June my disappointment and the second star is for her 4 attempts on my visit 4 days later to fix the mess. When I brought up the price was extreme, I was told “quality of product” product that started chipping within the first week. My cuticles weren’t taken care of properly so they started looking bad the same week... I mean, I could have paid 40 dollars to the salon across the street from my home and have gotten a solid color dip set that’d last for weeks until my nails grow.I will never go here again because even after the fixing I still felt ripped off - the manicure and the work done was NOT $120. I felt not appreciated because even though I hated the way the nails looked, I was constantly told “everybody else love it” - well probably because they don’t know how the original inspiration looks like and probably because they didn’t pay for it. At this point I honestly don’t care how this review turns around - I already made up my mind about June and will never go to her again. All I know is I’m an artist and a business owner too and I will take special care of my returning customers and not make them feel like they’re ripped off. This is what makes you lose clients. $120 dollars for something that won’t stop chipping and tearing away from my nails - and I was told “it’s that expensive because of the quality of the products I use” when I brought up the extreme pricing- yeah, ok. If you’re going to charge x3 more than regular pricing you tell the client ahead of time before starting and ask if they’re ok with it. You don’t just perform the service and then quickly say 120 to the receptionist and walk away. That is just disturbing - which is the main reason I’m so bothered with this whole thing. Or f it - nails can be fixed - and the second time I went in next week she did a better job... but still didn’t justify the 120. For that price I expect those nails to look fabulous and last as long as the regular cheap nails - even more.Make sure to ask what you’d be charged before the service is performed if you still want to go there :) I don’t want y’all to end up in the hospital from a heart attack!If photos don’t show up I will happily send them to you. I’ve been going to nail lab for several years now. The employees have always been accommodating, kind, and creative. Julie, my nail tech., goes along with my crazy nail art ideas when I have them and is respectful when I want a more tame look. Nail lab is always clean and tidy, they’re accommodating and flexible with scheduling, and the hospitality is never lacking. June, the owner, has made her big ideas a reality with the remodel!! This place is awesome!

This delightful salon has the best pedicure packages. They are creative and so relaxing. That is why the salon allow you to relax and be treated to pampering of all flavors. Kim gave me the a heavenly 1 1/2 hours pedicure. She has mad skills.The level of relaxation will depend on the day of the week, of courseSo if you plan on coming at high noon on Saturday and think its not going to be crazy. You be crazy.I believe we have to think about the other person before we jump to conclusions. I have personally seen these women who give us great services go without lunch and sneak in a bathroom break. Or work 7 days a week. They work hard.So let’s keep the reviews to the nails and mine look fabulous.

The young man that did my nails was very friendly, super sweet and very accommodating of how I wanted my nails done. He went over and beyond to make me happy with his work. The entire staff overall has excellent customer service skills and I highly recommend this nail salon. I will definitely not go anywhere else from here forward.

Its a very fitting name because its an experiment on what color your nails come out as! I had a Groupon deal for gel manicure and regular pedicure. I did a silver with glitter gel and my nails literally turned gold within a few days. I had to come back in for a redo but I decided not to take a chance on the glitter. I just did a plain gray and they turned army green! I called once again and spoke with the owner. She was very sweet and did offer another redo or to come in and get the gel removed. That also required another appointment. The polish was so thick this time, I ended up peeling off the polish myself. Didnt know when I was going to be able to come in again. Oh well, saved me another trip! Sorry nail lab :(

Love, love, love Nail Lab and everybody there - employees and customers alike. I so enjoy the socializing perk that comes with going there. Such fun! I needed my nails done ASAP and my usual nail tech near my office was out of town. I found a Groupon for color dip nails at Nail Lab which is on my way home so I figured I’d give it a try in the hopes of finding a great tech close to home. I had an appointment with Misty. She is so wonderful. The atmosphere of this place was great. They offer you water, wine or soda. They also have plenty of massage chairs for pedicures. The owner and staff are very nice. I definitely recommend this place.

This place deserves more than five stars and if I could give them more than five stars I would. The husband and wife team who did my nails were simply amazing! I’ve never had someone pay so much attention to my nails and my feet as they did. I’ve never had someone pay so much attention to my wants and needs either. Also on top of that give me advice and information on how to take care of my nails, simply amazing! Saw Isabelle for a fill and she did a fantastic job. Everyone there is very professional and always very courteous. After not doing my nails for three years went back in a couple of weeks ago and June, the owner, remembered the dip color I used to use and matched polish for my pedicure. June is absolutely fabulous. She’s a Master in her own league. Not only is she an outstanding creative artist and technician, but everyone in the salon is very good. A diamond in the rough. Nail Lab is tucked away in a small shopping area at the Northeast corner of Glade Rd and Hwy 26. From the time you walk in, you experience upscale treatment from ALL employees. Everyone is professional, friendly and you begin to feel like family. Angela does my pedi and does excellent work. My wonderful nail tech Angie Doan moved to Nail Lab over a year ago and I followed her. Angie is always prepared when I enter the salon, she helps me pick out my polish and she concentrates on me the entire time. She does facials which are amazing. I have never had someone so on time as Angie. It shows a great deal of respect for her clients.My husband and my daughter now go to Nail Lab too and you should too!

Just visited Nail Lab in Colleyville for the first time today. My daughter & I both got dip nails & the cucumber pedicure. Kristie did my nails & Christa did my pedicure, both were excellent! I was expecting a bit more of a manicure would be done with the dip nails but they look great & will definitely be back.

This place is very deceptive. Customer service is poor. The woman that works as a receptionist. Her name is Lisa. She was very argumentative and very unprofessional. Leaving a tip isn’t by force and it’s never mandatory in a business like that for a party of 1. If I don’t want my nails to be done at the same time as my feet that’s my choice and there shouldn’t be a negotiation. I feel sorry for the Asian workers because they are in fear to please the customer. This is really bad leadership. My first and last time visiting this place. I see why they have to drop their prices and advise on Groupon.

It was ok. One of the workers helped pick out the colors. Red white and blue. After the tech put on all my fingers then she said it was wrong color of red. Really? At that point it was to late and I just left it.

I go to the best for my Nails and Lashes.June, the owner, always does her best to give me the most perfect and beautiful set of lashes. I always hated mascara. For my nails, Julie is gentle and always gives me perfectly shaped nails. She always helps me pick the color, I highly recommend her.

Luu did a wonderful job with my pedicure and dipped manicure! He didn’t rush or leave any mistakes, and he still finished my nails sooner than expected. The salon itself had a calming atmosphere in contrast to those super busy and loud salons where you can barely hear yourself think, let alone relax. They offer free drinks (I had water with cranberry spritzer), free WiFi, and a great assortment of color choices for polish, dips and gels. I will definitely be back!

I bought this on Groupon Had an appointment.I am so disappointed in their work.I kept telling the lady that there were lumps in my nails and she kept doin it her own say they were to long.I kept asking her to fix it.Then they cashed me extra to have the tip which was fine.And then asked me if I could come back tomorrow for the pedi.Hell no,it was for both so instead of charging me for the nails they took off my ledi.Thars fine with me..Am ashamed to even show them to anyone.Im super embarrassed .Then told me I needed to come back for mybpedicure cause it was now 5pm and they were ready to go....WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!I wanted to cry.I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!

I couldn’t be happier with the work that she does.... my nails have never been this healthy(I do the SNS dip powder)...my nails were so damaged from years of abuse from prior salons but ever since I started going to Nail Lab almost five years ago I can’t see myself going anywhere else and getting the same great service and quality of work as I receive here... I have had almost everything they have to offer manicures, pedicures, waxing, eyelash extensions, and facials and have never had a bad experience... If you’re interested in dip powder Nail Lab is the place to go, they have tons of colors to pick from and even then if they don’t have exactly the right color that you want they can mix you up your own custom color right there in just a matter of minutes. Nail Lab will always have my business ❤️

I ended up here the first time for my wedding—they did a gorgeous pink ombré dipped nail. In the past I have only kept my nails done for special occasions but I actually really enjoyed the service and have been keeping them polished/dipped since. This salon is much nicer and cleaner than any other I have ever been to—it even smells like my candles at home not nail polish. They are very flexible and will take my polish/dip off for my drill weekends when I have to be in uniform. You can facebook message them to book which is super convenient for me. Isabella is the one who has been doing my nails and she is wonderful. She actually dips each coat where other places I have been in the past just created like a paste of the dip and then formed that to your nail. When they are actually dipped they are thinner and feel natural. Definitely glad I tried this place out!

I am so glad I found Nail Lab! From my first visit I felt welcome. Karen goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Isabel is by far my favorite nail technician ever. I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to my nails and Isabel knows how to take care of me. They are always willing to fix anything you think is not quite right. This salon offers a beautifully decorated, upscale and professional experience. I had my nails done by June (who is trained chemist and an expert on nails) several weeks ago. I’m a healthcare professional and I’m surprised by how well my nails have held up. She obviously uses a superior product as I have never seen nails endure such stress while remaining flawless. If I could give 0 stars I would. I was insulted by the girl working up front. She insinuated that I was fat, by asking if I were pregnant. Not once but twice. I am in no way overweight and even if I was she shouldnt of asked that. She asked Youre pregnant, arent you? I was completely embarrassed and felt horrible about myself. I was getting a pedicure and the poor lady doing my toes thought she was hurting me, because I was crying for most of my visit. I called the next day to let the owner know what had happened and she apologized and said if I come back she would take care of me. I do appreciate her apology, but she should really talk to her staff about how to talk to people. I will never go back there again.

Great service and clean atmosphere

This was a horrible first experience. The vibe was just not good. People werent too pleasant and didnt seem happy to be there.The owner made it clear I had to do my Gel manicure and tropical paradise pedicure together, which I am not a fan of at all but I wanted to use my Groupon so that was what she had me do, which was understandable and because she said it was SO busy. There was just me and another lady the whole time I was there. Too bad they couldnt do my nails separate at that point... I couldnt relax, couldnt use my chair massager, since the one girl doing my hands made me turn it off so she wouldnt mess up. Not at all relaxing. Plus my bother to was messed up too at the salon, I just wanted to leave so bad. (See picture) The 2 ladies did not seem happy to be working there, but were very sweet. Not best nails Ive ever gotten but oh well.When I was finished, I told the girl doing my hands that I need buy my groupon, that I had forgotten. She said I didnt have to, I can just pay there and not have to do Groupon. Which saved ME TIME to get out of there. I went to the front, and the owner was there and the Spanish girl who did my hands came up with me to tell the owner that I want to just pay without my groupon. The owner proceeds to tell her associate AND ME that I got dip, not gel. I was in shock, so I told her No, actually I got Gel... its $49 on groupon. Her associate confirms that i am correct and the owner is RUDE and bashes her associate telling her If i say its $55, thats what it is. I couldnt believe it. Her associate looked at me. I felt so bad the owner did that to her! She didnt even apologize at least to me! She finally says, Yes it is $49.. she then proceeds in telling me that I misled her with telling me over the phone yesterday that I already purchased my groupon.The owner lost my business, I wont ever come back. Horrible service. Who says that to customers and their associates when you are trying to do business.

I’m an honest reviewer & I can say that June is very good at what she does and I thought I found my nail home. But she hasn’t been available for all my appointments. I came in today and seen a different lady for my nails and toes. I asked for embellishments on my nails and seeing that this was a “nail lab” I assumed this wouldn’t be any problem for them to do. The lady I had wasn’t comfortable doing it and wanted June to do it but she wasn’t available to so the nail tech and I did it ourselves (no big deal) 1. She spent an extra hour doing the embellishments on my nails but I could tell shewasn’t happy about doing my suggestions and what I wanted, I felt like I couldn’t even get what I wanted so I tried to choose easier options so that she wouldn’t get irritated with my idea. (If I had someone that knew what they were doing, it wouldn’t have taken so long) she also charged me twenty extra dollars for my 4 fingers of embellishments 2. Before we even started on the nails I had to direct her to not worry about my nail bed being so far back on some. The tip needs to match the other nails starting from the nail bed, not from the tip. Once the polish is on it’s not gonna make a difference how far my nail bed is back. Some nails will be longer than the other if she did it her way. I had her cut my nails SEVERAL times to get a semi accurate level & im sitting here now and they still aren’t level. (No big deal that it wasn’t level, thats something I can fix on my own)All This became an issue to me when I walked out not feeling welcome or appreciated for coming in and spending almost $100 for services. (Part of it was discounted bc of Groupon, but that is STILL a lot of money) I live about 30 minutes away and I started coming here bc I felt welcome asking for services & I felt the services were top notch. However, this time was not the case. I was there over two hours and I was very appreciative for the time they did to do my nails, but all that doesn’t matter when the nails weren’t exactly what I wanted.

I made an appointment at 12pm, i was 15 minuets early. tell me why they took a white lady who DIDNT have a appointment first. i was helped at 1235!! this place will help the no colored people before they help people with a speck of color lol. they sat me in the back alone!!! this place is completely trash, i do not recommend. the nails were not even worth this. they are not ombre, it’s pink to white. no blend, jane or janice or whatever her name was is a horrible nail technician and deserves their license taken away. please don’t go there unless you want chuncky nails and bad service lol.

Nails cost $125. Nail techs were loud and cussing throughout the 2.5hr process. One of the nails broke the next day and they wanted to charge 20$ to fix it. They claimed the high price was because they use such great product but within 5 days my polish was chipping and a second nail had broke. Although they cussed A LOT they weren’t rude to me; however they gossiped about other local businesses and were talking lots of smack, mentioning names, ages, and giving physical descriptions of people in other business they didn’t like. I will not be returning to this location again. After tip (which I would not have given if I knew my nails would be wrecked by the end of the week) my total was $155 which is outrageous for a set of acrylics with one designed accent nail (which did not include gems, and honestly did not look great.) completely stunned at the price and offput by the demeaning negative gossip regarding other small and local nail and hair salons. :(
