I don’t understand what mail service delivering to a business address makes “attempts” to deliver outside of business hours. It’s been 3 days since the first & only “attempt”, USPS has not made another attempt nor have they updated the tracking on my package. Now as I wait in an extremely long parcel pickup line, the poor associate they have assisting customers with missing packages does not even have a computer. She is physically writing everything down by hand, going to the back & is having to wait for an available computer to make an attempt to locate customers packages. Because we live in a college town, the start of the semester is extremely busy & I feel bad for this associate! I’m not understanding why there are only 3 people working in the front of the post office, especially during the busiest hours of the day. I’ve come here twice today in attempt to locate my packages and as I currently stand here with 14 people ahead of me to locate missing packages it seems as if my trip to the post office will be an all day affair!

I would give them zero stars if it would allow me to. I keep having packages delivered to a different address. I have put in multiple complaints and they say it was delivered to my porch.I have a camera at the front of the house and I can confirm they are not getting delivered to me. I finally got one of my packages that was “delivered to my mailbox” a few days ago. Funny thing is it was in my neighbors mailbox a street over. So sick of US postal service, they need to go out of business already, so Amazon will stop sending packages through them.

Terrible, we had a power supply set to be delivered yesterday by 9pm, checked again at 7 and it was labelled undeliverable. We live in College Station, there are communal mailboxes and USPS has left packages at our house and in our mailbox before. We were even home that night. Whatever.Called in today to see about redelivery and apparently its unavailable and after calling the office 3 times and never getting an answer, I am just sick of it and will probably just claim it on Amazons side as lost/stolen since itll probably be quicker than dealing with these clowns

Called 5 times during normal working hours to check on a package that was showing as delivered but never received. Let 4 calls ring for 10 minutes straight with no answer then a busy signal. One call was answered after 3 minutes, but they simply picked up the phone then hung it up. If youve ever wondered why there is so many issues with your mail, this kind of customer service is very telling. They simply dont care about you or your mail, bottom line.

Just really not understanding how bryan post office can get it right most of the time, but college station can NEVER get it right. What is the deal with all of the missing mail, packages and other mail pieces placed in the wrong mail boxes. My gosh what is happening? And why does it take 5+ business days for mail to be re-routed from bryan to college station? Its the incompetence for me.

Ive officially had the worst experience Ive ever had with the US Post Office here in College Station/Bryan. Yesterday morning my package was delivered VERY OBVIOUSLY damaged AND opened. Now, Im aware that had it been damaged in the facility, I would have received proper notification, however I did NOT. We opened the door shortly after delivery to find that the box was most definitely tampered with. The carrier marked it delivered to our parcel locker, but they instead left it at my door. Suspicious behavior sign #1 that prompted me to call the USPS to file a complaint. I was advised that this office would properly investigate the issue. Well this morning I received a call from a rep whom was extremely rude, insinuating that the package couldve been left at my door long enough for someone else to tamper with it. She kept saying well it was delivered to the right address when that wasnt even the issue at hand--MY PACKAGE WAS TAMPERED WITH AND OPENED IN THE PROCESS. She then proceeds to tell me that if I had come to the office with a picture then they couldve helped me. I let her know I DO have a photo, and she responds in disbelief but does it have the time stamp on it?. She took ZERO ownership for the fact of the matter which is that my items were tampered with upon delivery! She made no effort to help me reach a resolution, instead she continued to cut me off and give me information that wasnt even relevant to my personal experience. She was so disruptive and unhelpful that I had to tell her Id be escalating the issue to corporate and ending the call. This is the first time Im experiencing an incident like this in the area, however Ive lost complete trust in the employees at this location. Train your staff to be more patient, empathetic and resolution focused, versus pointing the finger at the customer and acting like theres nothing you can do! Inside was supposed to be gifts for my daughters 1st Valentines...now we may not know if anything was stolen, or if someone potentially spread any viruses by touching the contents inside the box.Awful, awful experience. Also the (800) to call to get in touch for complaints is a hot mess! Called multiple times and the prompts wont put me through to anyone that ACTUALLY cares to resolve the issue.Whoever the woman is that is handling your offices complaints needs to be removed or trained on how to properly and politely interact with customers. I’ve seen multiple reviews likely referencing this SAME woman who was so rude to me this morning!

I lost my mailbox key so I went up there on a Monday and the guy told me what I needed to do. I also told him that we had a package coming that was delivered that day and one that’s going to be delivered Wednesday and I need to get it. He told me that he would put a mail hold and then I could just come up there and pick it up. So I went yesterday to pick up my packages and they did not have them so I had to deal with another representative that told me basically he did it incorrect and I needed to redo it her way and I could pick up my packages the next day. Well here it is Friday and I don’t have my packages that I need for tomorrow no one cared no one offered any solutions and honestly the The lady that helped the mail representative on Thursday acted like she was too bothered and annoyed that I was even asking for help. If I didn’t have to deal with him I sure wouldn’t and I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and mixed messages and answers that I received.

I try to mind my own business most of the time but I can’t not speak up here. Trudie needs to be removed from her position. She is not only unprofessional, but she’s unhelpful and outright rude. I don’t care for the post office, so I come in with my mail ready and I use the self serve kiosk. Trudie was standing next to me the entire time I was buying postage for me mail, and even looked over my shoulder once to avoid continuing a conversation with a women she had just told to deal with her own problems because there’s nothing she would do. After I had purchased my postage and was preparing to send them off, she picked one of my envelopes and WALKS OFF with it. Not that I think she knew, but the contents of that envelope were very expensive. She comes back and tells me I’ve done it wrong and that if I “want to go to the end of the line that’s out the door” they may possibly be able to help me. To which I responded I do not understand. She decided to roll her eyes and tell me to lower my voice.I really hope someone who can do something about this extremely rude woman would remove her from her position.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I had a great experience. As a college student, it was my first time shipping a package (and on top of that, it was baked goods), and wasn’t sure what to do/the best way to ship. Trudie noticed me looking at shipping boxes and came over to help me out. She was so helpful and had great customer service. She not only pointed me in the right direction, but helped me through the whole process of shipping my package.

This is the WORST post office of all time. I have had trouble getting my mail for two years now and unfortunately, both address I’ve lived at here go through this same post office. How are they allowed to Mark in usps tracking that mail and packages are delivered inside the mailbox when it most certainly has not!?! That should be illegal because it’s a lie and causes more confusion on what actually happened to mail and packages. It’s also very concerning to have informed delivery so you know what’s arriving or supposed to arrive, but it doesn’t actually end up in your mailbox. I live in an apartment where we pay extra for a parcel locker so they have no excuse, nor is it being left somewhere other than the mailbox!!!!! This is happening to me weekly now. Half the times they return to sender or never even show up. I am shocked that this location has not been shut down. If you can’t deliver mail then you shouldn’t. It’s that simple. USPS has become an embarrassment and I feel strongly that businesses should discontinue using them in order to take care of their customers, ensuring they get their items. And this is not a weather or Covid thing, they couldn’t deliver correctly before and I’m tired of their excuses and their inability to return emails and phone calls. If it’s happening to me weekly at two different locations, it’s happening to everyone also. I’ve filled out complaints and no one even reaches out. No one is required to fix anything or find the mail that at this point I think they just get to choose they don’t have to deliver. This amount of mail loss and misplacement should carry much more severe consequences. I will continue to file complaint after complaint until this gets resolved and my mail is found!

Absolutely the worst post office. Period. Multiple times I’ve come to retrieve my packages that clearly have arrived and were updated through both eBay and usps online...and multiple times I’m given some ridiculous answer that they “aren’t actually there and the equipment is”....with no further or intelligent explanation. Both times my packages were indeed THERE and later delivered that same day...so why can’t I get them when I physically come in?! Someone seriously needs to fix this I see people just like myself being sent away when there packages are actually there...I smell laziness on someone’s part. Save yourself the gas and wait for your packages.

Believe it or not, This one of my favorite places to go. They are so polite and explain everything to you. I used to work for a company where I had to go there everyday. I had to get stuff off the dock out back then later during the day inside the post office. I love how they are always happy and very friendly.

This Post Office seriously need closing or need new management and staff. I had gotten a PO Box.... absolutely NO MAIL was ever put into it. Companys would call and say mail was returned as no addressee or other reasons. When I switched mail back to the home all mail came!! In addition, I signed up for the app that shows you what mail is being delivered to your address that day. For 2 days the app showed mail but mail NEVER were delivered!!! What are they doing with the mail???? If they arent capable then they need to get staff that is capable because this is completely outrageous!!!!

Terrible, terrible, terrible!! ! Just left this Post Office location and the mail drop box for small parcels is so full you cannot use it. The handle to dump the loader is broken off and needs to be replaced (this should be an easy fix for a 12 year old!!) Several other peoples packages that had been dropped into the unusable loading drum were still just sitting in it (and they could have been easily stolen by anyone coming into the lobby). So I marched into the main area to complain and was told by a very young, unkempt looking hispanic male postal employee (who was not doing anything but playing on his cell phone at the time) to leave my parcel on the counter to his left like everyone else doessince they are short handed (even though there was a postal worker at each station, so they didnt look short handed). So I said, Look here, if you expect people to bring their postage-paid parcels in here, you need to post a sign in the kiosk area on that parcel loader so that people will know! You guys also need to repair the broken dump handle on the loader and put an empty mail catch bin behind it so people actually can use it and that would help with your work-load in this main area. The Postmaster at this location needs to fix this stupid situation and fix it now. They work for US!!

And if you call the 1-800 number it says package delays are because of covid. I live in apartment complex that has a mailbox and parcel boxes. The last so-called attempt says the front door / driveway was blocked and they didnt have access. REALLY? How is that COVID related?!! I can see why employees used to go postal oh, Im ready to go over to the post office and go postal myself.

Ordered a package to an address with college station instead of bryan as the city. Obviously that part is my fault, but my tracking number still says in-transit with no update since 10 days ago. Finally went to the post office to see what was up and they said they would have returned to sender already since the address was wrong. Update: I would give below 1 star if I could. They misdelivered the mail, knowing the entire time, and never told me. Then they closed my claim because “I didn’t respond to multiple messages.” Each time they called I either answered or called them right back. None of the messages mentioned them being at fault and putting my mail at the wrong house. The worst postal service I’ve ever had. I’ve been trying to pick up my package that they randomly decided to hold hostage (despite dropping packages off before and after this one) for three weeks now. There isn’t any social distancing going on in the lobby and all four times I’ve been there, there is no definitive line, just people wandering around. A lady was sitting under a sign that said “package pick up” at the desk so I approached her and she told me I needed to get back in line despite helping someone in front of me. I get so stressed every time I have to go there because my medication puts me at a higher risk for COVID-19 and there are way too many people in there. I’m not really sure what to do because it won’t let me schedule a redelivery but the line is consistently out of the door. Ridiculous.

I’m shocked to see a lot of these reviews! I had every intention of coming on here to review this post office, whether they had 5 stars or 1, because I was just that impressed, but I truly expected this office to be well above 2.1 stars. Every time I go in there, the sweetest lady is standing there greeting everyone with the biggest smile on her face. Immediately, this gives the impression these guys care about not even just good but GREAT customer service. I’ve never had somebody help me here that wasn’t incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and polite. Today, I came in right before (what I speculate was) their lunchtime rush. One of the gentlemen behind the counter (whose name I so wish I had gotten so I could mention him) saw me looking at the different envelopes and instead of leaving me to figure something it out (and perhaps not getting the best bang for my buck as a result), he got my attention and asked me what he could help me with. We then proceeded to go through a list of pricing options for what I needed to be shipped. Around that time, the office went from maybe 2 customers to at least a dozen within minutes. He didn’t rush me or rush through his side of things to get to the line of customers quicker, but instead found me the proper envelope, very politely asked me to go to the designated desk to prepare my envelope, and when I was ready to get his attention so we could proceed with the process. Not once did he seem rushed, panicked, or irritated, despite the influx of customers. By the time I finished preparing my envelope, another associate (whose name I also regret not getting) wound up completing my order, and he gave me several great tips on minimizing cost for the next time. All in all, there was not a single employee there that I observed and thought “Wow, that person really doesn’t care for their job.” Every employee seemed like they enjoyed heir job and helping people. Of all the post offices I’ve been to, inside and outside of BCS, this one blew me away with their customer service, so much so that I felt compelled to express my gratitude in the form of a review the length of a novel (sorry—got a little carried away on the details). Bottom line: this post office deserves FAR better than 2.1 stars. They’re wonderful.

Im a small business owner who has to come here all the time to ship things, and I have to say that theyre always incredibly friendly, though occasionally frazzled. Some of their equipment is old and just plain breaks sometimes, and the line to the desk will turn into a crowd that makes it difficult to figure out whose turn it is, but in general, theyre very kind and helpful. If youre patient, this is a great post office.

Its not surprising at all that this location got a 2.1 star while the other USPS on a&M campus got a 4+. Please tell me that not all USPS staff are racist and incredibly unprofessional! They are slow as sloths and always have a lot of drama with you in front of others. Today the old female at the front area skipped me to serve the mother and son after me. I would be totally OK with that (though I was in a hurry too) if she explained to me. But she didnt. She told me to stand by but she wont ever serve you. Like all other racists, she just ignored you as if you were transparent and turned to them with that dramatic childish voice. And of course her scanner didnt work and she didnt know what to do but just to continue her drama. What an efficient worker USPS!

If I could I would give 0 stars. Post offices are notoriously bad but wow this takes the cakes. AITAH check me.I live an apartment and sporadically have been getting my mail ever since I moved in. I called this location over 18 times throughout two different days—really trying to hit all different times—and received not even one answer. I then went in person to get everything sorted. The ladies were incredibly nice and took my name and number and said I would receive a phone call same day. I didn’t, I instead received a phone call the next morning from a manager. I thought I’d get my problem solved but boy was I wrong. She assured me the carrier would start leaving me my mail consistently if I filled out a card—which I was more than happy to do. I hadn’t been feeling well and since my wife works with COVID patients I was really trying to abide by social distancing practices and I asked her if she would give me a follow up phone call in two weeks, as I hadn’t had any luck trying to get my calls answered. This is where it all went down hill. She told me they do not do that and wouldn’t start making exceptions. I asked her a little more about the policy, especially since my situation and we are in a pandemic. She then started to get rude, calling me sir instead of ma’am, telling me she answered the call we were currently on (she called me) so she’ll answer the next one, and in the worst case I will continue to not get my mail until I can come in. I then asked her what the best course of action would be and she said to come in to the location. I told her it would potentially put her employees at risk due to my exposure and then she told me “If you come up here I’m calling the cops because you are trying to give everyone COVID (which I haven’t been tested for and only following her guidance) so I guess you can’t come for a while”. When I asked for her supervisor’s name she told me she was the supervisor and laughed. I then asked for the number for the person above her and she told me to look it up on the website or to come get a peach card from the location—remember she told me if I come to the location she’s calling the cops.I’m just trying to reliably get my mail. I don’t think it should be this difficult. This level of service is really inappropriate, especially to see such lack of care for the safety of the community and employees. We have companies of all shapes and sizes making adjustments in business practices to help with the pandemic efforts. I guess this location missed the memo....

What an absolute joke for service. I personally waited in line and handed off my Poshmark sale to a clerk on Tuesday the 26th, and was given an estimated delivery date for both of my packages for Friday the 29th. One package delivered, but the Poshmark sale showed pending scan as of Monday the 1st. When I called, the lady was about as helpful as a canteen full of sand in the desert. She told me those delivery dates are an estimate, and delays of a day or two happen. When I politely explained this was not a day or two delay, she brushed me off and said they only put it on a truck to the warehouse And maybe it got put in the wrong bin or their machine is down. When I asked if there was a number for the warehouse I could contact directly, she said no. When I asked if I could talk to someone to report it lost, she said “well you can call the 1-800 number, but they’re only going to have me call you and tell you the same thing.” How reassuring🙄 Hopefully I don’t lose my item or my sale because our post office has worthless customer service. If you’re gonna be piss poor at your job, just quit. I wish I could leave zero stars.Update 6/16/2020A different package (one I had ordered) was missing so I called the company and low and behold USPS missdelivered it to the wrong address on the 10th. Packaged was described as undeliverable. Went straight away to claim it. they told me to leave my number and they would contact me the same day. They didnt so I went the next day. Told me the same thing. The next day it was scanned as undeliverable again. I went once again to claim it a few hours after, told me it was being sent back to the sender. okay great. The next day it was scanned as undeliverable AGAIN, therefore meaning it was still in the area but they just told me it was being sent back to the sender. its like they dont even know how to do their job.

My mail that I send to our Field Employees keeps getting sent back because not deliverable as addressed unable to forward. We have taken a copy of our apartment lease to the post office in College Station and I have called and been assured that the mail will be delivered to the apartment that we lease in College Station but everything gets sent back marked Return To Sender. Attempted - not known - unable to forward. The address is a valid address in College Station.

EXCELLENT customer service! We were visiting Texas from NC, and I mailed a small package home. Didnt have the right pen. Someone met me AT THE DOOR and offered to help, found a sharpie, and ushered me to the checkout line when I had finished working on the envelope! I was overwhelmed! I have NEVER had this kind of fantastic customer service at a USPO before! Would rate 6 stars if I could. AND the package went from Texas to WV from Saturday to Monday! Shocking! Other USPOs should be like the one in College Station!!!

I am very unsatisfied with this USPS because they supposedly shipped my packaged on 1/19/18. When arriving from a emergency trip that I had to take, my package was nowhere to be found. My apartment complex checked cameras and saw that my packaged was never delivered. Went to USPS personally and was told that they would contact me that same day with the update of what the mailman did with my package. I never received a call back so had to wait 2 hours to be able to talk to a agent just from them to tell me that I would be updated in 2-3 business days. As they take their sweet time, my grades are being affected in the university which cannot be fixed. Its 1/23/19 and my package is still lost.

Package was supposed to be here two weeks ago. Called more times than should be necessary and the ONE time I was able to talk to someone (not including the time I was hung up on) was told I could come pick it up. Got to the office waited two and a half hours in line only to be told it was still in the truck and my best bet was to try and waive down the mailman to get it. It would have been quicker and more efficient to have my wheelchair bound great grandmother roll herself out of the state to get the package. Seriously the WORST postal service Ive EVER delt with!!!!!

Why would you leave a package at the front door of a apartment complex where people pass by every few seconds?? This is the SECOND time my package has been stolen. Why the hell wouldnt you drop it off at the apartment main office? or put it in the cabinets and leave key in mailbox? or at least take it with you and have me come pick it up? I do not want to give the post office even 1 star. We have been trying to get a package delivered. The address is correct!!!! They keep saying it cannot be delivered. I even spoke with the postmaster who said a portion of the address was probably cut off. Once, maybe, twice, is questionable. How does one explain the copy of an envelope with the correct address that is visibly correct. The letter was returned.

Really concerned about what is going on at the college post office. I mailed packages to my son. Online tracking says they arrived yesterday, but the staff can not find the packages... He finally did get his packages several days after online site stated they had arrived. Perhaps it would be helpful if we could clearly see online when my college student can actually access his mail/packages at the on-campus center.

I recently moved here about 3 months ago, and have had an extremely pleasant experience at this post office. I typically ship between 2 and 3 times per week, and have had nothing but polite and courteous service. I did notice that there are sometimes lines, but they dont seem overwhelmed, or snotty about it. Would definitely recommend!

Ive been waiting on a package all day. I order from Amazon frequently, and have never had problems with delivery, but it appears the person delivering must have wanted to go home ...its showing through tracking that they were unable to get through a security gate. I live in a duplex, on a block full of duplexes, no security gate for miles. Ive confirmed with Amazon the delivery address. After reading these reviews, i will be calling Amazon and asking them to retract the delivery and send it out again via UPS or FedEx, NOT USPS. How do you screw up something that simple, when your job is strictly finding addresses. You had one job....SMH

I hate giving a bad review, because I know some of the workers there personally, but the experience I just had with a mail carrier as well as the Post Office Manager was absolutely unacceptable. Being in customer service, I understand the consideration you must take for your customers. But the new mail carrier we have that has been placed on our route is the rudest, most hateful person I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with. After confronting her about not putting the mail in the residents mail boxes, she gets the worst attitude, I told her that if she continued I would be making a call to her supervisor. She in return decided to tell me that, She has already spoke to her supervisor about me, so she didnt care. How awful is that? USPS works for the customer, and being a customer that is also in the same role of customer service, I was baffled that she even said that. I decided to go ahead and give her supervisor a ring and expressed my issues. He had nothing to say except policy and that he would talk to her. I feel that was a lost cause because I have already been talked about. Considering all of that, I will be following up with someone else higher than them. This unacceptable behavior is something that NO ONE should have to deal with. I am a CUSTOMER! Not an equal. Yes I run a property, and yes I deal with customer complaints all day, but I WOULD NEVER talk to them as I was talked to today. I seriously hope that whoever reads these reviews does some serious investigating about the complaints coming in. Might be time for a change.

Too angry to say much just now. If there were negative stars, I would give this post office a minus 10. Or less!My wife and I are ill and could not drive up from Houston for granddaughters high school graduation. So we mailed her card. No ones business, but she and her sister have a different last name from my son and his wife. Same name and address we have mailed letters to our granddaughters for over 15 years.Well, this time, the card was returned, marked Trailer? (underlined twice) and underneath, Name not in any box and below that, something unintelligible (might be Sorry but that would be a guess on my part).As for the trailer...... My son recently bought a travel trailer that he will pull behind his truck this summer when he and his wife go on vacation. It is parked there. No one lives in it. It has no separate address and I have no earthly idea why the postman didnt simply deliver the mail to my sons mail box (as addressed) same as the post office has been doing for the past 15 years.So now, my granddaughter will have to wait on her graduation card until we are well enough to travel and deliver it in person.Really steamed......HB

Post offices hours say closes at 5pm, arrived at 4:25 and the post office is closed on a Monday and it is also not a holiday. What the hell? This is a great inconvenienc. If you close sooner update your hours. Many customers came up here in the span that I arrived and had to walk out because of this asinine misinformation provided.

Mexican women (I didnt know her name) working that wheres glasses was just rude to me....I simply step to her booth when she says ugh you need to get back there and wait till someone calls you up if you really gonna be that rude then you need to just quit.. for me not to curse you out is a blessing. The worst service ever. Had medical supplies and and they put a key in my mail box on Monday with no number on it. Tried every big box that didnt already have a key in it. No luck. Called Post office every day and finally Friday they got it out. They were SUPPOSED to bring it to my apartment, but left it at the managers office. So I didnt get it until Monday a week later. I hate the College Station, TX., Post Office.
