I made an appointment on Monday 10/4 to have a backup camera placed on my Mini Countryman. I gave them ALL the information about my car and the camera I purchased. When I showed up for the appointment on Wednesday at 9, no one was there, no one answered the phone. I waited 15 minutes and left. This should have been my first red flag.Got a call at 10:30 apologizing for the no call no show. I took the car there anyway (since its very close to me). Of course I asked for a discount for the inconvenience and they obliged with $10 off.The guy at the desk looked at the car and looked at the back up cam/mirror BEFORE agreeing to do the job. They called us a couple hours later for pickup. When we arrived, I got in to test the new cam/rear view mirror and as soon as I touched it, it fell!!The guy told me that the mirror wouldnt fit on my mini. But the rest of the work was done... No one called to let me know that!? Then, they expected me to pay the full price for the service! My husband and I (politely) offered to pay $80 for the $160 job. AND THEY CALLED THE POLICE ON US! Of course, the police didnt come. But, talked to both parties on the phone. We settled at $90 and left.I was trying to support this small business. Dont make the same mistake I did

The great customer service I received at Crazy Car Audio was awesome! Their genuine kindness began with a simple phone call prior my visiting their establishment. Sandra was very kind and was patient as she explained everything I needed to get done. Carlos, the gentleman who installed my new radio, was also very nice. He took the time necessary to make sure the radio properly paired with my phone. With the peaceful waiting room, I was able to work while I waited for my car to be ready. I thought they ha a wide selection of items at reasonable prices. I will certainly use this service again if the need should arise!

I had tried to do the audio work myself. Ended in a huge whole in my dash with exposed wires. Took it to these guys, within 2hrs my stereo was installed and the system sounds great. Reasonably priced work. Id definitely recommend this place for any system upgrade! Hell yeah!!!!! Thanks guys. Sounds great.

This is a reply to Darrell Joseph , we apologize that you feel this way . How ever what you stated in your comment is not true! There was no disrespectful words or any of that kind . You where helped out right away and At no circumstances did we deny you our services , Salesman tried to help you and stated that under warranty we could take care of the vehicle from Monday - Thursday at no charge !! Friday and Saturday’s unfortunately are our busiest days but you demanded that we did it right away . we stated that we are booked for today but as soon as we have an opening we would help you out as best as we can .. that’s when you decided to leave and said we have bad service . There was 2 other customers waiting as well and only one salesman . They try to help out as much as they can .. we are sorry to see you go

I went a week ago and I was meet by Sandra she was very informative and helpful I went to get a new pioneer screen and my alarms changed. It’s was my first time here and I can honestly say they were fast with reasonable prices.I’ll definitely be back.Two thumbs up for guys that work there!!

They do great work, had a head unit installed a few months ago, ended up messing it myself went back and the fixed it for me fast and at no charge. Need good efficient work then go with these guys 💯

Wouldn’t recommend. I have scheduled a dash cam installation(one week prior) and also shared the dash cam model(with pictures) and my vehicle vin to make sure they can help me. I was there on time as per schedule. They guy at front desk asked me to wait until they finish other vehicles. After two hours of waiting in my car(it was noon) he walked to me and said they cannot do the installation anymore. I drove 40 mins and have to wait for 2 hours just to hear that they cannot help me.

I wish i could give them less than one star. Took my $240 for a job that they could not do. With $80 diagnostic rate . They asked for $400 more to purchase a part before labor charges. All they were trying to do was sell their own products .This place is trash . Avoid it like the Corona Virus. I went to a different shop and spent $120 for diagnostics , parts and labor. .

Great customer service. I had a few aftermarket parts to install on a jeep Wrangler. They did a great job. I will definitely use them again.

First off wonderful service by the whole entire staff. They were able to get a new radio, a 12’’ Kicker Sub, an amp, and a Viper security system installed in my ‘08 Hyundai Sonata V6 in one day! Don’t listen to the old reviews because they don’t correlate to ‘Crazy’ Car Audio, but to the old store ‘Insane’ Car audio. Would highly recommend this new store ‘CRAZY’ Car Audio and their longstanding service! 💯

I went to install an alarm for my car and after 2 months I started having a problem with the alarm, when I went to try to fix the problem they told me that they changed ownership, who told me that was the same person who He sold me the alarm and now no one can help me. those people are liar. after they take your money dont want be responsible for their bad work

I can honestly say that this is the most disrespectful place I’ve ever dealt with. I had my door speakers put in here and the speakers keep going in and out I took it back to them and they told me that the wire had came a loose so they fixed it. Well it happened again and I was told that I had to pay for them to hook it up again and to come back later. Then the guy at the counter moved on to the next customer. Like I wasn’t even standing there. I don’t recommend this place to anyone they get your money and then they don’t want anything to do with you after that. Don’t give this place your money

Took my Mercedes Benz to Crazy Car Audio to hook my speakers up after purchasing one of my favorite deck consoles by Jensen. There were some challenges at first with completing a bypass, but they were consistent in completing the job

The young lady didn’t have a clue. I went in to purchase a Bluetooth costa real she quoted me prices for several other things for 10 minutes. When I asked her to address my stereo issue she eventually said we don’t have that in stock. Terrible service and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to come here

Horrible experience...the reception was supposed to be good until the guy in front desk came to tell me and my wife we cant be in the workshop that they are doing $15k job in there without prior offering us where we could wait. Things in the car get missing, and not satisfied with the job cause the microphone wouldnt work with my sound system and its a new microphone that came with my pioneer sound system. They dont really care about how customer feels. They are a little expensive compared with other guys out there with decent reception and good customers services with technical perfections/satisfactions. Will never be there for no reason again.

I had a system installed into my 2004 pilot at that time I did’t need a head unit so I walked into insane car audio the personnel in the show room led my to the right head unit (stereo) Everything turned out great it sounds perfect. Im being generous with 2 stars. If you go into an establishment like this and tell them what you want in the beginning with your own products and they tell you that you have everything you need you shouldnt have to go back for a 2nd visit and still not get everything you came for. But there will not be another visit thats for sure.

Do not go there. They told me the job would cost $260 but when I droves 15 miles to get there they said it would cost $802 dollars just to put an aftermarket radio in. I went off! PLEASE!!! Save yourself time and money. Search google for another place

I highly recommend this shop. I took my 07 dodge charger here and in new time I was leaving out with my new 4200 NEX installed and all ready to go. The location is very convenient. The price was the best by far in the area. The guys who work here are all very friendly and professional. The shop itself is nice, vibrant and clean. Very comfortable waiting area with big a flat screen TV 📺 to view as you wait. They also did extra work that I didnt even ask them to do. If your experience is anything like mine Im sure you wont be disappointed.

I take my car here and Mario and his crew work on it and its definitely a place I would recommend to people because he work fast and communicate with you in all that you need. I got the speakers in my car changed and added bass to it and it tuned it for me and the remote for the speakers to control it is great.

The staff here is knowledgeable and really know what they are talking about. I had tint applied to my car and it looks awesome. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Good work. With a coupon this place too expensive. There waiting room is good. Took them about 2.5 hrs to remove the previous tint glue and tint three windows...not bad.

I have had all of my electronics installed in my truck by them. I went in to ask them to check out the radio face they installed because it was clearly falling down on one side. They fixed it but then got an attitude when I asked them to fix my steering wheel functions because it was working just fine before they took the radio out to fix it. Instead of just giving customer service and checking it out it turned into some sort of hood conversation as if Im trying to hustle someone. Whatever happened to customer service and treating a returning customer with a little respect? Go there if you want to but when they start getting a little unclassy with you because you want good service dont be surprised. I will be going elsewhere in the future. They lost a good customer in me ...

I had a Viper Security System put in a few months ago on my Scion FRS 2015. Initially they found for this particular model, the viper system would not be automatically compatible, but they spent the time researching and manually configured it from scratch.Couldnt ask for better customer service, and also cant beat the price

I called last week to schedule an appointment after reviewing all the great reviews people had on the wonderful experience they had. My appointment was for tuesday at 12 noon. Do to a bad thunder storm arrived 12 mins late. The person at the front desk greeted meet when I came in I explained the reason for my delayed arrival he said no problem. I asked how long was the tint process he told 2 hours. He took my keys and my Groupon and told me I could have a seat in the waiting room. At 2:30 I saw my vehicle I was excited because it was finished. WRONG it was just being taken back to the bay area to be worked on. I went out to the front desk and the original person I spoke to when I arrived was not there the new gentleman must have saw the discuss on my face. I asked how much longer he called the bay area and you could here the person shouting in Spanish but, I could make out what he was saying but, from the look on the gentlemans face it wasnt favorable. He paused and looked away and said another 1.5 hours. I was fuming. I said this is not acceptable and went back to the waiting area. My car was finally ready at 4:15. I explained to the gentleman that I had been there since 12:12 and no one came to tell me that it was going to be a delay. They could have told me when I arrived that they were running behind. They didnt offer me a discount for waiting 4 hours. This may have been a fluke but, I was not happy with the way the delay was handled. I will not be returning and I will not be recommending Insane Car Audio, in College Park to any of my friends or co workers.

Lol, this place just quoted me $900 to install gear Im supplying. I even called back to clarify. They want to charge me $900 just to hook up 4 speakers, 2 amps and a sub. I know why their name is Insane Car Audio because youve literally got to be crazy to come out of pocket $900 for that amount of work.

I bought groupon for 50% window tinting and made a 9 am first appointment for the next week. Their business model is based on upselling when you arrive and having you pay extra for higher tint percentage. I refused and the car sat at the lot until 4pm when I called to see if it was ready. They said they still have not worked on my car bc i made a drop-off appt not a scheduled appt so everyone else was ahead of me and my car wont be done until just before closing at 7pm. I needed my car for an evening dinner out and took my car back and got a refund from groupon. Why would I call a week ahead to get a drop off appt? Buyer beware! They also quoted me $160 to install subwoofer and amp, but a place a few miles away behind a Mcdonald charges $100. Also got 70% viper tint for entire car for $150 with lifetime warranty at that place.
