I was happy to find this store could print a label for me and charge the UPS shipping to my clients account. It saves me a ton of time. However, I stopped there today and the clerk said he could not do that and to go to the UPS terminal in Sparks which I knew was closed and he should have known as well (closed between 12 and 4). He said the machine was broken.Absolutely awful service today. Too bad, previous experiences have been good.

I absolutely have to post this because never would I have expected anyone would have the audacity to charge $1.50 per page to print something, much less *SCAN* with no bulk option available for a larger document. It only costs a minor amount of electricity to operate a scanner, and then one would logically charge for time to operate the machine, but that surely does not add up to $1.50 per page....Please reconsider the logic in this. Some people might fall for this, but competitors are far cheaper, even for printing.

Worst experience at a UPS store ever....Transaction took over 20 minutes when it should have taken 5. The owner had to restart the process several times and complained to me about the new system and how it was so much worse than the old one throughout my visit. The whole situation was very unprofessional.They insisted I purchase a box and pay them a packing fee despite the fact I had brought my shipment to the store in a box.Later, there were problems with my shipment and they refused to provide a full refund.When I asked to complain to the district manager, they refused to provide their name and contact info.So, you should nominally expect bad customer service and to pay for additional products and services you likely do not need. Worse yet, you will be on your own with no help or escalation path if there are problems.

Brought a pair of skis to ship to NY. Was told $40 for packing service and $40 for shipping. Perfectly fine.Received a call right when I got home saying they mis-measured by 2 inches and because they needed to use a larger box, that the packing service charge had to be increased by $34.I fully realize that packing is a premium service, but considering boxes cost literal single digit $, it is insane for them to insist I pay an additional $34. I expressed by frustration politely and was told that there was nothing that can be done. So $118 to ship skis by UPS ground...As someone who has run businesses in the past, I know what its like to make mistakes and cover them for your customers who had agreed to a price, within reason of course. A reasonable response would have been to work with me on the additional cost. I asked if they could discount the increase to $15 or even $20, but they said no.Needless to say I will not be back to this franchise.EDIT: to respond to the owner comments. Yes, I am aware it was $118 to ship. My problem are not your fees. My problem was that you incorrectly measured the item right in front of me and quoted me a price that I agreed to, then called me to increase the cost by $34 due to a mistake you made, not me.I would have otherwise not agreed to such a price, but since I was no longer in the area and didn’t have time to return, I was stuck paying for your mistake. It’s obvious customer service is not a focus for your business.

Ive been using a PO box here for about 5 years now. I have never had a bad experience. The lady there is always there with a smile, and answers all my questions when I have them. They have done a great job with COVID precautions. The owner there is very friendly as well, definitely recommend

Excellent customer service. They are always polite and does whatever they can to help you. Very patient with me trying to get the cheapest mailing carrier for my packages. I had a package delivered to them by the UPS truck and the called me when the package wasn’t picked up in 7 days. Most places would just return the package.Highly recommend this UPS store.

Great place to take my Amazon returns (I have quite a few every week), ship items across the country to family and printing services. This ups is under new management and the new folks there are always very pleasant. All employees have masks on and store is up to date with covid guidelines which is nice to know and makes you feel comfortable.

I visit UPS very frequently, and the employee that most often helps me is named Rajan. He is always able to assist me in a professional and courteous manner. Knowing Rajan is working makes the daily trip infinitely easier. He is an exemplary employee.

Terrible customer service. Needed a box taped to another for mailing. Told me I had to pay for tape. Literally two straps of tape. He said if not take it somewhere else. I took it somewhere else. Id be suprised if there still in business in a year with this attitude. I see your response below which is a bunch of bs. I drove 2 miles up the road to the Hunt Valley UPS store and they gladly taped it. You just had an attitude. They will get my business from now on.

I’ve been a boxholder at this UPS store for over twenty years, and I’ve never had a complaint! I also ship from this store occasionally, and the service has been invariably convenient and reliable. Mr. Patel and his staff are always friendly, helpful, and courteous. They always provide service with a smile. I don’t think of them as store employees; I think of them as friends! This UPS store is a wonderful place to do business! Many thanks to Mr. Patel and company!

I deal with multiple UPS Stores on a weekly basis. 1st time in this location the other day. As I walked into the store I can hear and see 1 associate speaking loudly and rudely to another. Definitely not what a Customer wants to see. When I was asked to approach the counter I was asked, what do you need, in a tone that wasnt Customer Service friendly. I placed the box WITH pre-paid label attached on counter and asked for a piece of tape. Have in mind this piece of tape would of been no longer than 10 inches. He then looked at me then up towards the ceiling and said there is a fee for the tape. I said are you serious, responded with yes $15.00. Clearly that price was pulled out of the air. I have never been asked to pay for a piece of tape. I feel that wasnt a store policy. So, I called Customer Service. Bug waste. I asked for the Store Manager to call me....that was over a week ago. So needless to say, not using this location.

Website and store signs all reported it open 1/1/2020. Wasted my time driving out here and am sitting in the parking lot at 3:24PM staring at a locked building with an OPEN sign. The only thing I need this store for is as a reliable drop off for online returns and they cant get that right.

I went to this location to do a notary. The Asian lady that works there is incompetent and unwilling to help certain group of people. I have never seen this kind of unprofessionalism anywhere else. Never going back to this place!!

My 94-year old mother visited the store Dec 20th to get help shipping 4 tins of homemade cookies to 4 of her children living in WV, IN, MI and PA. The tins were boxed and shipped using Express Service for delivery by Christmas. My mother neither wanted or requested this. Without helping to explain or offer alternative shipping at a lesser price, they charged her $405.Again, my mother is 94 and these were 4 tins of Cookies. Talk about the Grinch who stole Christmas. Unconscionable.

Only one person at the desk when I went to drop off a package. Two customers where in the store and 5 other customers outside waiting. The second clerk was in the back talking to a UPS driver and didnt bother coming up front even though he knew customers were waiting. After a twenty minute wait he finally opened up the second register.

I went to this store to ship two packages. They said the system was down but accepted the packages and gave me tracking numbers. After two days of trying to track the packages, I went back to the store and found out they had to change the tracking numbers, but no one called me to me to let me know what happened until after I went back. Then it came out that one of my packages would not arrive by Christmas, even though the guy that accepted the packages said that it would. Overall, the people were not easy to deal with. Do not use this store to ship packages. Do yourself a favor and take them somewhere else.

The worst customer service. Guy refused to take my package too big, even though return instructions specifically said to return to UPS store. He did print out a label, but refused to give me a receipt. Send me to a UPS hub 6 miles away and didnt tell me they are closed on Saturday. Went to a different UPS store they accepted the package with no issues. Do not give him business. Oh and before assisting me he told a lady that was shipping something to put her package in a bin, god forbid he would do it for a paying customer.

Having read these reviews ahead of time, I didn’t know what to expect entering this UPS store. Imagine my surprise when “Bob” the only employee on duty at the time managed to swiftly, kindly and professionally move customers in and out. He helped me with my label by printing me a new one. I didn’t need to ask for a receipt because as he helped with my package he explained he was providing me a receipt and tracking information. Thank you kindly to BOB who made returning a package an easy experience. We forget how trivial tasks done right need to be appreciated too!Bob told me he was simply helping out for the holidays but I think it would be wise to keep this man on permanently. Employees that are so customer service oriented are rare. I also watched him multitask and do his job with ease and pleasure. Give that man a raise and benefits!

I visited this new Cockeysville UPS store today, after discovering that the old store near Cohens had moved. Mr. Patel is there and is so pleased with the brand-new building next to Fazzini Taverna. Same excellent service in a bright, clean and sunny location--such a nice experience.

I would reluctantly use this store when it was located in the cranbrook shopping center. I tried again today at the new location on york road. Guess what, nothing changed. Same people, same bad attitudes, same unwillingness to provide (just good) customer service, same rudeness. This is one instance where convenience isnt worth it. Ill just take my packages to the Sparks location.

Tried to send a pkg today. I needed some help and the clerk, Chris Reed couldnt have been more unpleasant. I had a confusing issue and from the very beginning he acted angry that I even came in. Subsequently I discovered within a half hour of leaving that he was wrong about the solution. An Awful experience at UPS 9805 York Road Cockeysville MDMr. Patel,I stand by my statement that your employee was rude. And I can only assume your are saying that I am lying which also makes you rude. Ive included the packing slip that USPS sent with the same PKG to Israel. Fed Ex quoted me a price of 74 dollars and I actually was able to send it via USPS for 68.80. Rudeness combined with a 250 dollar price tag leaves your store there on York RD sorely lacking.Jeff Keene

There were two guys when I walked in. One was very friendly and had great customer service, the other was very rude. The other comments are spot on with how bad this guy was with customer service. I’ve been going to UPS Stores for years now and this one pales in comparison. I brought in two unusually sized envelopes yesterday to check the weight and pay postage. I was never told the exact weight and postage cost. I’ve never seen anything like it. When I inquired, he said “put two stamps on each” as a guess. I could have done that at home. I asked how he knew since no scale was involved and he said “ok, put 3 or 4”. What?! Why not weigh and give an exact amount? So strange. I asked again, he weighed but still refused to tell me an exact amount, just said the same thing. He also charged me a flat $4 which seemed strange. There was no exact pricing. I was in a time crunch so just trusted what he said but doubt I’ll go back ever again since the Towson UPS store is about as close to me and much more professional.

Service was good.IF YOU HAVE A PACKAGE THAN COULD BE MAILED BY USPS:UPS IS OVERPRICED>> Just mailed (Thursday 9:30am) an 11x13 envelope (.9)lbs. Cost me $15 to arrive by Monday. Got home and checked the rates: USPS quotes $5.50 for priority mail, for Saturday arrival. Wasted $10. There are 2 post offices within 5minutes drive, dont waste your money like I did!

Always seal your package yourself, and always ask for a receipt. On two seperate occasions, the clerk offered to tape a package for me. I thought this was wonderful customer service. The packages were returns to Amazon, and postage was prepaid. The problem is neither package ever reached Amazon.

Went here first thing this Saturday morning to pick up a package and the gentleman who was working the counter was very rude. I told him my name for the package and he tossed around a few packages and the second one he tossed had my name on it, last name bold in all caps, and somehow he missed it until I had to point it out for him. He then asked me to sign and didn’t let me know I was okay to leave after I did so. He just stood there and didn’t say “Have a nice day” or even a “Thank you come again” would have sufficed. This guy had a really bad attitude. I would give one star but I’m assuming all of the employees here are not as rude as this fellow.

*** Bullshit artists, avoid like the plague ***Dropped off a USPS prepaid package at the counter on 04/05 that needed to be taped up. Clerk was taping it up and applying label when I left the store. Check USPS website for tracking this morning and no information showing. Called the UPS Store location and they state it is not there and they have no responsibility for the package as it is USPS, but they take USPS packages for the USPS to pick up. Called USPS and they have no further information on the package as it has not been scanned. Store is no help. If the tracking does not show up in the next 24 hours I am opening an investigation with USPS and also filing a formal complaint with UPS Store corporate. Either USPS is stupid and did not scan the package or an employee stole it. Either way I will get to the bottom of it. I am giving 1 star so I can post this but in reality it should be -100 stars.

Unprofessional - and damaging to UPS reputation.I had made an online appointment for notary services and arrived this afternoon a couple of minutes ahead of the scheduled time with my confirmation number. When I told the very pleasant gentleman at the service desk that I was there for my appointment he told me that the owner is the notary and he would go back and get him. He returned to say the owner had to leave and had said I should come back tomorrow. I said that I had an appointment and that the documents I needed notarized were time sensitive and needed to me mailed by end-of business today. I then asked if the owner had indeed left and he said no. He went back again and then the owner stepped into the passage next to him - looked at me directly but did not talk to me - and walked away. The by-now embarrassed and apologetic sales person came back and repeated the suggestion that I come back tomorrow or try elsewhere.I said that I would try elsewhere and that I would never set foot in this store again.My only regret is that the salesperson had to be the messenger for such a deeply unprofessional business owner.

The service is terrible. This is the second time I have used this store to get a legal document sent overnight and both times it was a day late. I was guaranteed that it would arrive in time for house closing by Mr. Patel the owner. I called this morning to complain, but spoke to an employee who hung up on me. I dont think they would like to be treated that way. I have talked to UPS to complain about service. Do not go here. If I could I would not give this store any stars. They do not believe in customer service.

Horrible experience. went with only a drop off and it was only the owner (or manager) by the name dyviesh. i only wanted a receipt and was the only one there. he made me wait for 10 mins while he organized a cabinet, then he made a phone call knowing I was waiting and when I asked for a receipt real fast so I can get back to work since I was on my lunch break he got rude and nasty and told me to wait. I ended up going to robbies on Ridgley. will never go back and its sad to know Im not the only one who had to experience that kind of rude and horrible customer service.

Do not go here if you are shipping anything valuable. My package made it to its destination but without its contents. Store would not help with claim, blamed me for putting the wrong thing in an envelope instead of a box, even though they helped me do it. UPS blamed the store and vice versa. Worst experience I have had when shipping something.

Worst experience ever. I made an apt online for notary services for Saturday, i called to check the prices and he tell me that the guy isnt I on weekends and that i should try sometime after 12pm during the week when he decides to come in. Mind you I have 2 young kids i was about to drag out of the house for no reason, he was unprofessional and rude and couldnt even give me an apt for Monday because he didnt know hen the guy would be there.

The worst UPS store i have ever been to. The guy said I had to wait for him to scan 88 packages before he can scan mine to get my receipt. Thats not right. I was the only one in their and the receipt takes 2 seconds to print. Never going there again. Horribe customer service. The guy was rude as well.

This is the worst store on the planet. The woman who was working there on Saturday June 6th was rude, incompetent and just downright mean. Stay away. Stay very far away.Comcast has a deal that if you drop off your equipment there, UPS sends it back to them. I just hope and pray they get it.

AVOID THIS STORE IF YOU VALUE WHAT YOURE SHIPPING, YOUR TIME, AND MOST OF ALL, YOUR MONEY! I had to package/ship a large item to California and did not expect it to be cheap, however, when I was quoted $370, just to PACKAGE it, I immediately called the owners bluff. As soon as he realized I wasnt buying it, the price was magically cut in half and for that I was told the item would be bubbled wrapped, the box lined with styrofoam, and packed in peanuts. Then, he told me if would cost $450 to ship! As I said, this was a large package that weighed about 80lbs, but having shipped all kinds of items in the past, this again smelled fishy. When I told him the customer was actually the one paying for the shipping with his UPS account, he quickly changed his tune and said, oh, ok. Later that night, I entered the specs of the package into UPS online and came up with a shipping price just under $200 - OVER HALF OF WHAT HE QUOTED ME! (the customer said he was only charged about $110 since he has a UPS account).After harping on how important it was to protect the corners of what I was shipping with bubble wrap, which I knee/agreed, I paid about $180 to have them package the item, which he said he would personally do himself and mail out on Thursday (this was on a Tuesday). As I filled out the packaging label I realize there were a lot of boxes he told me not to worry about, however, after reading the instructions, it was very apparent these needed to filled out, which I did despite his instructions.Long story short, by Thursday night the item was still not showing as shipped. I called Friday and was told he did not get a chance to finish packing it and it would go out that day (Friday - a day late). The item did eventually reach its destination and I asked the customer to provide me feedback on how the item was packaged since I made the mistake of not insisting on seeing the item packaged myself. He said overall it was ok however, it would have been better if they wrapped it in bubble wrap instead of just a 1/2 of styrofoam and packing peanuts. As you can imagine, I was shocked to hear this after I was lectured that the bubble wrap was absolutely necessary.Just out of curiosity, I went to another UPS store, with my receipt, and described to them what I shipped, the weight, dimensions, etc, and asked if they would tell me exactly what I paid for at the other store. According to the clerk, I was charged for both standard and custom packaging, which this was obviously just a custom job, added another $30 to the cost.This place with NEVER get my business ever again and I am amazed they are STILL even in business! Take you package and business elsewhere - hell, even the post office, unless you want to be ripped off.
