John was our Service Technician and did a fantastic job. Was very courteous and friendly also to our 2 dogs. Repaired our air and heating and was very informative about the repair. We would most definitely ask for John should another repair occur which we don’t anticipate. Our whole house is Sears appliances plus our air and heating. Sears is a most trusted business. Tech arrived on time,had to order dryer belt which will take another week without my dryer.tech asked me if i wanted dryer cleaned from lint, i told him yes,it took under 5 min with dry vac with lint flying all over my kitchen,for this i was charged $50.00,i really dont think that is fair,i am being charged over $300.00 for this service.

Repair man was not familiar with washer and dryers. I had asked for cleaning and maintenance of my machines. You sent someone who normally does kitchens. He was very nice and tried but I am very disappointed with Sears service. You needed to send a appliance server who can really help with my machines especially cleaning them.

Trying to get freezer fixed since early June. Technicians finally came on July 29. They said they repaired to the best of their ability. Wasnt quite sure what they meant until after they left. Freezer door doesnt align with refrigerator door, gasket is not tight causing frost in freezer, and ice maker doesnt work. Cannot get through to protection services. Got to customer service for another appointment on August 25th! So disappointed!

Not satisfied! I was charged $300 for a guy to come out and defrost my Refrigerator. It began leaking again about 2 weeks after he left. There’s another service technician from another company at my house right now trying to fix the problem. He’s doing much more than a defrost and is charging me less money.

Our repairman arrived on time and set to work immediately. He diagnosed the problem with our dishwasher and replaced the parts that were not functioning. Then he was very meticulous to check and test the machine to be sure that it was no longer leaking. He worked quickly and efficiently, fixed the problem and explained everything to us in easy-to-understand terms. We were very impressed and are completely satisfied with the work done.

Repair of a cracked glass range top on a Sears Elite stove, with a Protection Agreement has been a long and frustrating experience. The crack occurred during the first week of November. Sears responded promptly and sent the new part the next week. The repairmen Were knowledgeable but the part was defective. The stove was left partially assembled in anticipation of an expedited replacement part. I was then told I would have to wait for another 2.5 weeks for another replacement part. When that never arrived I had to wait another four days to get approval for stove replacement. After the approval was granted, there was another weight of a few days for authorization. Now I am waiting for final approval before they replace the stove can be ordered. It is now four weeks since the process began and we do not know when we will replace the stove and return to normal living. This is extremely poor service and I am thoroughly disappointed with the delays that Sears has imposed on what should be a simple and straightforward process. I have found Sears customer service to be Sympathetic but not helpful. I have been unable to contact management or supervisory personnel to expedite this process. I am not sure if we will have a functioning stove before 2020.

Service Tech was superior however the Sears support CS and sub contractor was a rating or 1. It took 15 calls over 4 days to cancel one appointment and at some times it was difficult to understand the customer service rep. Also, it was discovered that the Sears Garage Door Solutions Sub contractor was out of business or just didnt answer their phones. Poor Back Room operations but the Service Tech was excellent once we were able to get in touch with someone of authority to handle the scheduling issue under the Master Protection Contract.

The technician called to say he was on the way, and arrived within five minutes. The part he needed to replace had already arrived, and he made the repair very quickly. He was prompt, clean and efficient in his work. Overall, it was great service from Sears Home Repair.

Doug, our Sears Tech, was on time, professional and kind. It was our second time needing a repair, and it was especially nice to get Doug twice. He is very good at his job and ordered up the parts we needed. They arrived within a day or two and he returned to fix it quickly after that. I give Sears A+. So far, the actual repair has been completed to my satisfaction. However, part of the process was unsatisfactory to me. I did not receive a written quote or a receipt for the estimate. Credit card was charged and we were not given a receipt. I was told by a rep that I could not get one until the work was complete. If you charge a card, you should get a receipt, simple as that. The work was scheduled to be completed ten days after the diagnostic appointment. Once it was complete, I still did not receive a receipt or any info regarding the 90 day guarantee. I was told it would be emailed and I never received an email. I had to call Sears again to follow up and get one. I think this part of the process is definitely in need of improvement. Thank you.

The service technician phoned early to confirm my appointment and asked if he could come earlier. This worked perfectly as I could take the rest of the day to do other things. The repair was an adjustment to the level of my new washing machine. It was accomplished in about 10 minutes. The machine no longer wobbles during the spin cycle. The technician was polite, helpful and knowledgeable!

Technician was excellent friendly and helpful. The only issue I have which is why I didnt give them 5 Stars was that it took over 3 weeks to get an appointment to service my lawn tractor. Considering that it became disabled in early August and I couldnt get an appointment until early September so my grass grew to an unbelievable height and was completely mosquito-infested. When you have a lawn tractor issue during The Cutting season they need to be able to schedule your service much fasterbut for some reason thats something that they just dont understand, or they just dont care, not sure which it is but its unacceptable

The service was excellent. The repair professional took his time to inspect the problem and fix it. But after that, he reviewed with me the cause of the problem and showed me how to try and prevent a re-occurrence. I appreciate the time the repair professional took and the care he had to make sure I knew exactly what occurred and why. This is my third time using the service, and each time I feel Ive gotten excellent service and value and would definitely use them again.

I was able to schedule a repair appt. for the next day. Repairman called when he saw he might run a little later then the appointed time. He arrived just in time. Was able to diagnose the problem right away and fixed it and with in a half hour he was gone! Highly recommend their service.

The actual repair technician was excellent. The help desk was awful and ridiculous. If it wasnt for the tech, I would not do business with you all again, if I had to deal with your call center. They had my wrong # and email address. I gave them my correct # to send to the tech. They never sent it to him. The time of service changed 3 times. I wasted a lot of time waiting for the tech. The tech was trying to reach me, but because they didnt give him the right number, he couldnt reach me.

I was overcharged. Intentionally selected the more expensive lawn tractor service plan ($229) specfically becasue it included REPLACEMENT of the mower blades. The Techanician did not have the correct repalcement blades, so he sharpened the old mower blades instead. Do not object to labor charge [blades had to be removed for sharpening and then reinstalled.] Requested that the Techanical NOT charge me the $80.46 for NEW mower blades. He could not authorize that and informed me that his supervisor was not available, so there was no higher authority that he could consult with. Again requesting the $80.46 material charge for NEW blades be credited to my account.

Prompt, courteous, well-done and vastly overpriced! Almost $300 to install a $55 inlet valve, which did not require any dishwasher disassembly or even pulling out from under the counter. Very overpriced for a 30 minute service call. Feel very taken advantage of.

This was the third water heater we bought from Sears for three different properties. You would think this makes us semi-valued customers as we continue to buy investment properties and get all of our water heaters from Sears. The first two times, everything was great. The third time, they forgot to put back on the switch so when my wife and I did it, there was a huge spark and a loud bang. They sent out a service repair individual that fixed it and when we turned on the switch, the same thing happened, a large spark and a loud bang. Finally, they brought a new water heater to replace. The only good thing about this is that the installer was WONDERFUL this time around. We have filed a complaint with Sears, have followed up on our complaint through our claim number and messages, and to date, noone has responded or even called back. Both my wife and I had to take off time from work multiple times to accommodate Sears and we just expect to hear a resolution on our claim issue.

When i called, the person on the phone spent over a half hour trying to sell me on the service insurance package. I must have told her more than 20 times I was NOT interested. Then when service guy came, he tried to sell me service package again before he even looked at the washer or dryer. When I asked him how much it was going to cost to service the washer and the dryer he said he didnt know. He said he needed to use MY phone to call the office and that they would know. I asked him why he couldnt use his phone. he said he didnt have one. yet he called ME from my driveway to let me know he was here!!! howd he do that without a phone? i asked. he said he needed to use my phone. so i gave in. he called and immediately handed me the phone because the office wanted to sell me the service plan. both the office and our service guy told me we had had the same problem of the rubber rim coming off before and thats why we needed the service plan. i said that perhaps the rubber rim comes off because our washer is almost 10 years old; we have six people in our home - 3 of them teens who play a lot of sports and therefore we do a LOT of laundry...is it possible that I dont need a service plan at $400 a year but that your products dont last more than 10 years anymore!?!? i spent more than 15 minutes telling the office that i didnt want the service plan. so the service guy fixed our washer and dryer; charged me $215 which he did not receive the price from the office but knew all along. i am disappointed with our service. and as a life-long sears / kenmore enthusiast I can tell you I will never buy your products again due to the over zealous push of the service agreement! not once did i feel understood or listened to in the whole process!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Had a stand alone ice maker not repaired properly. water leaked for over 24 hours into the walls an ultimately soaking the carpet on the lower level. Sears was so concerned they scheduled a return service call 6 days later (monday). The claims process is just a lackluster.

I had a terrible experience with a Sears repair on my Samsung range. The technician came to replace a piece of stainless steel that I had scratched. He pulled my stove out and when he put it back I didnt realize he didnt level it or put it back properly, and the whole stove shakes back-and-forth, not to mention the part that he replaced has a dent in it that he caused from the inside out. And the whole time he was here he tried to sell me on the warranty, I dont appreciate being sold or presssure when I already said no once. Sears this was a terrible experience and you gave me the complete run around when I called back several times to try to get a technician back here to secure my stove so that I can use it.
