A few weeks back I came here to file my taxes and am not impressed. Per my email confirmation, my app. Time was for 6pm but when I checked in I was told it was 6:15. Mistakes happen, and it was only a 15 minute difference, so I chose to wait. 6:30 (15 min late) the lady at the front desk said the client ahead of me is running behind. My first thought? My appointment was scheduled for 6pm NOT 6:15 so now we are 15 min behind, well technically 30 minutes behind) so the frustration began to sink in. Occasionally the lady at the front desk would say where is she, Ive called and there was no answer. Another 25 more minutes go by. Now, we are 45 minutes past my app. (Technically an hour based off 6pm app.) Finally, Ken was willing to work with me take me. He was very nice and professional but then went over pricing. It would have cost me around $400.00 to file. I politely declined.I went to Occran and Associates, a few stores down. The cost was soooooo much cheaper. My refund amount was also $1,500 more than than what it would have been if H&R Block filed my taxes.I am giving a 3 star rating based on the scheduling error, extremely LONG wait that I shouldnt have had to wait, and cost.Other than that, the employees seemed nice and the place was clean.

Ken has done my taxes for the last couple of years and he is so knowledgable....HOWEVER i went to come in to sign my taxes and the receptionist had some friends stop in and saw me waiting behind them and continued her private conversation about her weekend plans with them for several minutes. Hwr friends had more consideration and stepped aside. Then when i do get to speak with her she tells me to hold she has a couple people on hold on the phone!!

Our agent was very friendly and knowledgeable and worked with us to get the best return possible

The fees you charge are ridiculous. I received less than half of my refund. Granted I did 2 years worth and she took off $100 each year but it’s still way to expensive and a rip off. I’ll be doing online next year. My tax person was wonderful nothing against her.
