Worst shop ever. I used to be mechanic in the past. Had a transmission rebuilt there in Nov 2018. The following year I had to take it back about five times. From total trans failure twice slippin g in overdrive to leaks. But, the main problem is that the owners never seem to care. They had my truck at leat 3 week each time I took it in. And that was about five times. Now I have to take it to another shop to replace the transmission again. Never go to this place!!!!

They went above and beyond for us when our truck broke down unexpectedly while we were camping. They squeezed us in their busy schedule and were beyond through with their diagnosis and repair. They even talked to our local technician to update them on what the issue was. We were able to drive our truck home in better condition than when we arrived. Highly recommend!!!

Cost: $6k. Time to repair: a week.I took it to Unlimited for a second opinion and they called me within an hour of looking at it to explain it was a $200 1-hour job. Not exaggerating. By noon I had my car back and saved myself having to get a rental vehicle and shelling out thousands for the repair.They were honest, efficient, and excellent with communicating updates throughout the process.New customer for life! My van was brought to them on Oct 23rd. They estimated it would be finished around the 29th. Having received 0 calls i assumed it wad on track to be finished. When i called on the 29th they said they still had to order the parts. They said the parts would come in on the 2nd. On the 4th i call for an estimated amount of time it will take to put together and they said once again, they still haven ordered the parts. I get angry and frustrated because they lied to me twice now. Then they call me back Wednesday the 4th one time and leave a voicemail after i hung up on them out of frustration saying to call back. Now November 8th, my van is still in pieces, they are claiming that they tried to call me 3 times to get permission to install the parts. I have no records and no voicemail. I asked him what days they logged the calls and he said there were computer problems. They are liars and clueless how to run a business. I highly recommend passing on this company.

Me and my husband took his work truck in for transmission. $5,000.00 we picked it up took it home on his way to work transmission started slipping. We took it back bob checked it out and said the company sent him a messed up transmission he had to send it back. He called us a few more days later telling us we need a new transfer case cost up to $2600.00 also a tie rod for a couple hundred dollars. I told my husband wait because we need to get a second opinion. Bob said he normally didnt do tie rods but he would. We picked up the truck again and he told us that there was more major problems and we really needed to get it fixed. A few days later the truck just froze. Wouldnt go into gear. We took it to another shop and for $800 it was the transfer switch. Why would bob lie? And there is no other problems. Thats on black and white. Be careful with this guy. He is bad business. We are looking into taking legal action.

I have been bringing my 4 vehicles to Unlimited Clutch for 13 years now. They do a great job in a timely manner. The mechanics are friendly and polite. I trust them and highly recommend them. I drive from Reedley all the way to Clovis for their services for my vehicles.

Took our Toyota on advice from our regular mechanic for a second opinion. He found we didnt need a new transmission but a had a bad speed sensor. I am so impressed with the service we got. We expected to wait until next week to get our clutch replaced due to the holidays, but we called Bob and he had it done today, and my car is running better than it did brand new.

The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They provided expert transmission and clutch service for my beat up old jeep wrangler and got it running as good as new. Prices were honest and I highly recommend them to anybody in the area as they are top both!Jeff

I had a 1991 Mazda 929S my wife and I took the car to these guys they tore up and destroyed a brand new part that I had another shop two days before I brought it to them put on and they said they did not do it took it back to the original part installer and they clearly confirmed my suspicions. They never fixed the transmission problem I had and they were very shady do not I repeat do not take your vehicle to these people.You have been clearly warned.

Took in my 03 wrx for new trans, clutch, and driveline and got it done for a reasonable price. Owner knows what hes doing Id trust him with any manual trans vehicle. Car feels better than it ever has!

Highly recommend this shop!!! We took in our 2006 Silverado needing a complete tramission rebuild. After having someone else look at our transmission, we were scared to take it anywhere and throwing more money into it but When we found Unlimited Transmission they had great rating and now I know why because they are “The best” ...My transmission was a complete mess, a total wreck! Didn’t even have reverse or 3rd or 4th gear...Bob and his guys are very knowledgeable, friendly, and walk you through everything their going to do. We will not be going ANYWHERE else from now on. The transmission is running great and feel happy we chose Unlimited. Thanks Bob!

Been going Here for years but unfortunately this time I am very unhappy! Went in and had them work on my mewer car which I did explain the issue so I wouldnt have the same experience but was not listened too! Had to take my car back 2 times and charged each time until he finally agreed to do what I originally asked! But still Im out close to 700 dollars! Sad to say that I will no longer be coming here.

Took my Expedition there due to some transmission problems. Found out it was 2 qrts low after a transmission flush done by family freind. Bob checked the fluid and toped it off. I asked him a few questions about aftermarket stuff he could put on my vehicle and he told me Im here to make money, not rip people off he advised me against stuff that I did not need, but could have easily made money off of me. Another shop just said yeah we can install that for you... To me that says a lot. Then while I was there I found out that they do just about everything a regular shop does. he charged me just $10. He gave me his undivided attention the whole time I was talking to him! (I gave him $20 for his work and the information he gave me) , the other shop wanted $89 for a diagnosis! I just found my new shop. Thanks Bob!

I used to go to them all the time when I lived in clovis, they always made sure my car was running right and promptly fixed anything that was wrong with my car. I highly recommend them.

Felt betrayed and taken advantage of by this place. My first encounter with this place was to do a simple transmission service and, for the most part, that went fine. At that time, they also told me they do other mechanical work on vehicles and told me to come back if I need other stuff done. They seemed nice and trustworthy so later on when I had car trouble, I took my vehicle back to get looked at and fixed. I waited there for a few hours while my car was getting looked at. After spending a few hours til closing time, they did a great job of explaining what the problem wasnt but did not tell me what it was. They made me pay for a few hours of labor and told me to come back the following week to get the problem fixed. Still trusting their word, I left home and came back the next week. On the following visit, they spent a few hours on my car again and then did some more explaining on what the problem wasnt but still couldnt explain what was causing my problem. I went thru this a few more visits, paying for labor everytime just to be told the same crap. I finally gave up and took my car to pepboys who actually fixed my issue without giving me the run-around. I highly discourage anyone from going to this place and save yourself time and money!!

They know what there talking about and had my moms transmission done in a day and spotted other things along the way.
