Working with this company, ESPECIALLY their billing department is a nightmare. I have dealt with several operators that week in and week out Gulf has messed up their settlements and Gulf makes a big deal out of it when you ask them about it. The operators I deal with have just come to expect this and do not hold their billing department to a high standard.

Best trucking company around. My husband is employed here. They are very dependable and The owner treats his employees very well. He listens to them even though he is a very busy man. He takes time to listen and he seems to care about his employees. I highly recommend this company. If you really want to work this is a good place to work.

Had a very horrible experience with one of their drivers. (Huge Semi / 18 Wheeler) He intentionally passed me up in traffic while we were clearly in rush hour on I-35 in the DFW Metroplex. The guy cut in front of me for no reason because EVERYONE is literally driving 5mph, forced me to share my lane with him and I had to quickly scoot over into the lane next to me that was also full of cars in order to avoid him taking my passenger door rear view mirror out.Very rude and very dangerous considering the rainy weather conditions and slick roads in the DFW today.Gulf Relay needs to hire drivers with more consideration to others and higher safety standards.

This company is just starting out in the trucking industry. The operations manager Blanks and the dispatchers have integrity issues. You will not get paid for any detention with the customers. 99% of the time you will be doing live load or live unload. They have too many computer and communication issues. Also you will be told to do something by planners and dispatch and when they drop the ball you will not be compensated for the issues. I strongly suggest you stay away from this company.

I was driving on the Dan Ryan in chicago today and got rear ended by truck 2027 he I pulled over and he started to and then kept driving I caught back up to him and followed and continued to try to get him to pull over I have the whole situation on video and the licences plate number is 1094926AOn the side of the truck it saysGulf RelayMc723111Usdot 2068379Ms.07848Vin Lmo14312Please fix this issue

I have been working for gulf relay Trucking for 7 months now, anytime I have had a issue I call Blanks and he has taken care of the issue, very professional and respectful, I really dont have nothing bad to say, very good company and staff to work with and for, I highly recommend these guys

We booked the load with Jason Cobb that is VP of operations at Gulf Relay Logistics, our driver picked up and delivered load on time and everything was fine till it was time to pay for detention. Jason stated:“Customer has denied detentionThanks,Jason Cobb | VP of Logistics “In addition, Jason stated…Contact our customer and your entire invoice will be held for payment.This is a warning, you are in potential violation of the contract you and your company signed, if you proceed you will be in breach and per our terms of the contract. You will be in no way compensated for anything.Thanks,I just want to write review about this broker to be careful and know that they do NOT pay for detention and do not fallow on thing that they agree and promise.We will not contact your customer Jason but honest review about your company is better…truck drivers are hardworking people and we need them, and we should definitely pay detention and for their time.Thank you,

Awesome company. Very family oriented. Great pay. Great benefits. Ive been with the company since 2015. Upon coming to company i met Blanks Baldwin..which is very kind hearted, outgoing person, will go out his way to meet your needs. I also meet Mr. Douglas Hindman, Bryce Peacock, Dan Warren..very distinguished gentlemen..very hard working. Great staff overall..if i had a choice to leave the compnay, my answer would be no because this is home for me. Im home every weekend and through the week. I would recommend this company.

Never used their service before just know they have horrible drivers. One named Dennis that was at the Fleetway on the Gluckstadt exit. He was blocking 8 parking spaces in a packed parking lot while he got his lunch. When confronted of his decision he shrugged it off. When I tried to get a photo of him to get his name he became confrontational and another person had to step between us. I have no clue what they do but if anyone asked for my opinion I wouldnt recommend. First impression are important and Dennis didnt nail it.

The person we initially booked a load with was not in charge of that certain customer. We ran our truck 180 miles out to not get loaded. All because the broker was not aware we needed certain equipment, they did not tell us when booking the load nor did the confirmation stated anything. They never gave us a TONU for their mistake.I booked the load with Jason...Jason handed me over to Hayes...then Hayes passed me unto the manager Watson....Turns out Thomas was the account manager and he was not responsible for what his co-workers booked while he was out of the office.Just a quick note, a proper broker will ask you prior to booking if you have a certain equipment. They would not make you run your truck for nothing. Its wasting our time and theirs.
