Not a wealthy couple, and on a budget, my wife and I visited multiple granite distributors, (Waldorf-Rockville, and everywhere in-between)We received multiple quotes for an exotic level granite for our kitchen remodel; were ready to move forward but wanted to take 2nd look at European Granite. Met Ahmed, showed him our first choice. He made an unbelievable offer.We were ready for installation a few months later. The install guys were VERY RESPECTFUL, PROFESSIONAL, and obviously craftsman.We are blown away with the new look, each morning!

My experience with European Design was the best experience Ive ever had with a company. The pride in the craftsmanship is reflected in my granite counter tops. They are gorgeous! I walked in to the store and told them my criteria of what I was looking for. I was shown many (full size) slabs that met my criteria. There was no pressure to buy something I didnt want. When I asked questions, I received advice based on years of experience. Additionally, they worked with me for a time to meet for measurements and installations, both of which were done in under a week from walking in the store! The installation team was exceptional. Watching them work, I could tell they had years of experience. They were exceptionally careful when removing the old counter tops so neither the walls nor the cabinets were damaged. When installing the new counter tops they used an epoxy to put the slabs together. They worked to ensure the color matches so well, that now I have to look to find the seams.The company hires a professional plumber. The gentleman I had was from Tuna Inc Plumbing. He did a phenomenal job. He installed all new pipes and ensured that nothing leaked.Both the installers and the plumber were completed with everything including clean up in 3.5 hours. I highly recommend both companies!!!!

You simply cannot go wrong with choosing European Granite Design: large and diverse inventory, excellent pricing, friendly customer service, and timely and flawless installation. We initially went in for a small granite piece in front of our fireplace and decided to use the same granite to replace our aged vanity in one of our bathrooms. Pricing was competitive and when we provided a competitors quote, they matched it and then some. The sales person spent ample time with us to show various options and then gave a detailed written quote, inclusive of the new sinks, and the independent plumber cost. The plumber was a separate contractor, which charged a fair price and also saved us the time of trying to locate one on our own. Another individual came to our house to do the measurements and was professional and timely. Most importantly, the measurements were spot on. Both pieces were machined exactly to our specifications. The individuals that took out the old vanity and installed the new vanity did an excellent job and were thorough, including a professional job on the caulking. The sinks were the rectangular versions and very deep, a significant improvement from our prior oval, shallow sinks. As they were finishing up, the plumber arrived and spent nearly two hours on the dual sinks as he decided to replace it with all new plumbing. After he was done, he ran both faucets in our presence to make sure there were no leaks. After the entire project was over, we received a follow up call to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Overall, an excellent experience, and we will be sure to consider European Granite for any future needs.

Fantastic prices, beautiful work, quality installWe had cabinets installed for our bar one week before Christmas. European Granite moved mountains to have the granite installed for our holiday party on December 23rd. The two installers who arrived were professional and on time. In the 11th hour we decided we wanted a backsplash on our bar. They accommodated our same day request and installed that piece as well. They laid tarps in the work area, and did all cutting outside. The actual install was clean and concise, we were very happy with the job.The granite we chose was fantasy brown it is a beautiful stone; they gave us a very good price. Emre and Hussain come highly recommended for all of your granite needs. We plan to go back to have them replace our bathroom vanities.

I highly recommend seeing Hyusein, he was so patient and helpful and was able to find exactly what we were looking for. His measurements were precise and installation was good, clean, quality work. Melisa and I met to discuss the design options for my small kitchen remodel project. A week and a half later, I saw the design and was thrilled...I picked out colors, design, granite, sink...contract signed.Calm before the storm...I come home from work and the cabinets are in my living room. They are gorgeous, top quality, just perfect. Im in love. I speak with my 16 yr old son who haphazardly tells me the delivery guys left the cabinets in my front yard and he had to carry them inside of the house. *Insert confused face here*. I call Melisa to query what could have happened. The delivery guy claimed there was no room in the living room to place the cabinets. Im thinking this has to be a joke because theres no furniture, materials or anything obstructing space in the living room. I discarded all of my furniture weeks prior as my home was undergoing various remodel projects. Nonetheless there was no resolve for that blunder...I moved forward.Time for installation. Things seem to be going well until...the contractor notifies me that the wine and 9 wall cabinet does not fit in the space closet to the window. Hmm thats odd. We look at the designs and the pieces we have and it seems correct. Another call into Melisa about the issue. She immediately states that Im mistaken and that there isnt a window in that area *questions: how sway*, then she told me we agreed to place the 9 cabinet on the opposite side of the window *Scooby doo face*. We had no such agreement, it wasnt in the design, why would someone awkwardly position a cabinet in such a fashion? Several pictures sent to her later and she has yet to take onus that a mistake was made on her part with the measurements. The contractor had to shave down the window trim to fit the wine rack in but there was no way for the 9 to fit. Her resolve was to take the cabinet back and provide me with a credit. I decided to hold of returning to see if I could potentially place the cabinet elsewhere. I was told for my trouble I would get a free slab of granite to go on top of the 9 wall cabinet if used as a base cabinet.Straw that broke the camels back...my appliances arrived. Yaaaa! The drawer wouldnt pull out because of the stove handle...Noooooo. This deserved an in-person visit to the office and demand for the owner to come to my home, this was ridiculous at this point. Melisa insisted this was the installers mistake, no maam, your measurements were off by 4-5 inches. Melisa and owner, Emre came out...two and a half hours later we came to an agreement. That 4-5 mis-measurement impacted not only the inability to pull out the drawer but also the positioning of the double sink and subsequent alignment with the window and the rough-in plumbing pipes. This was an inconvenient and costly nightmare. But ya (read: sarcasm), Emre gave me a $250 discount.Granite guys came and they were fabulous. They were in and out...well Im sorry I just remembered, they werent because *dun, dun, dun* yet another issue as a result of off measurements. The 4 backsplash on one of the walls was running over a pre-existing socket. Anguish, yell, cry, pass out...how could this be happening. How could I now have to pay an electrician to reposition the socket that had been there when Melisa did her measurements? Emre offers $100 credit.Back to the 9 wall cabinet. Well I decided that bc it doesnt have a proper base to keep it off the floor it wouldnt suit well as a base cabinet so I have it installed wall instead and ask Melisa what deal we could workout for me ordering a base cabinet in consideration of multiple issues during this project. Melisa tells me $425, I think its outrageous to charge me full price so I counter. Its now been three weeks since our last discussion and I had no response until a few days ago after again texting and calling the office. At this point I would just like to have the free granite for the cabinet and my cutting board which I never received. I plan to have another company build a base cabinet to go with the wall cabinet.

My overall experience with this company was excellent from start to finish. Im very happy with my 3 new granite bathroom vanity tops. They are gorgeous!! The price was affordable (caught the 50% sale) and installation was quick (came in on Tues and tops were installed that Saturday). I chose European Granite Design based on a friend of mine recommendation. I suggested that I reach out to Soufiane (Ahmed) and from day one, he was very professional. He came to do the initial measurements and invited me to their shop in Clinton to pick my granite. His other colleague, Hussein, stopped by a few days later for final measurements and set up an installation date for the following weekend. The installers were very quick and friendly. Ahmed was very professional and polite throughout the entire process. He worked with my husband and I to get us what we wanted. He genuinely seemed to be a great person and that’s important when you pick someone to do your work.We got our kitchen countertops and 3 bathroom sinks installed (all granite). The workers did a great job that includes the plumber. I would definitely recommend European Granite Design.If it’s your first time getting granite installed, just make sure you look at the material before installation and take pictures to compare. The granite can change colors in different lighting. Just a heads up! Also, I had my granite installed in separate pieces meaning it had to be seamed together. I wouldn’t suggest doing it this way. It still looks beautiful but if you’re OCDish then it might bother you. It does cost more to get it in one piece but I think it would’ve been worth it.

One word can describe European Granite Design PROFESSIONAL. We wanted to upgrade our kitchen with granite counter tops, appliances and lighting. We visited other companies and each time we left we were still undecided about the color, material etc. Walked into European Granite Design received a warm welcome from one of the Sales Managers and the rest is history. European Granite Design has a large selection of stones to choose from. Our Sales Manager was very patient during the granite slab selection process. The experience I had with the installer was terrible.My wife had to tell them all to keep mask on,n they didnt speak English and always left the rear door open.Some of the pieces was cut to small and they were determine to try to make it work by filling in the gaps with caulk! . When I first wrote this review I was very bothered with the installer, but the company did reach out to me to fix the problem which they did. So I revised this review.

I had new granite countertops installed yesterday and I absolutely love them. They arrived on time completed the job quickly. And the price is very reasonable! Highly recommend.

I will give them 2 stars mainly because of the delivery and installation was horrible. I now realize why you pay more for the big box hardware stores due to customer service and accountability the workers take more seriously. The customer service received in store was OK. However, the process of choosing the granite was like negotiating down in Georgetown with the shop owners. Everything is priced high and you have to haggle with the owner to get the price down. This does not feel like a bargain based on the price at the big box hardware store when it was all said and done. I had a film of dust all over my house because they made final cuts to the counter top in the kitchen. I had dust everywhere. Not to mention some of the back splash was cut to large for some areas on my counter. Lets just say I will not be recommending this company to anyone. I was recommended to this company by a friend. That friend was there during the delivery and was surprised how unprofessional the delivery and installation was handled.

I would like to tell you ll about my experience with European Granite Design. I had them to add Granite to my cabinets. The representatives were very professional. I Brought a basic drawing of the space with dimensions of my cabinets and that is all it took. I had gotten price Quotes from two other Granite Companies but no one could bet the price I had gotten from them.They were very patient with me as I continuously changed my mine on the Granite design, but once they got started my Granite was complete in one day just like they promised. I am very happy with my granite and the work that they did., I will recommend them to all my friends and family. Great Job! European Granite Design.

European granite replaced our granite countertop with a quartz counter. They were punctual and completed all the work as promised. Unfortunately the quartz counter had a defect and required replacing. Although the length of time it took European granite to get the replacement approved, seemed an unreasonable amount of time, they stayed with our case and once again were punctual in their install and good in the workmanship. I’m giving European Granite Design three stars because they did a wonderful job installing our granite counters and were very pleasant to work with. However, I would highly recommend hiring your own contractors/technicians for any appliance hookup or plumbing (for sink installation). We didn’t do this and the subcontractor that attempted to install our gas cooktop in our island wasn’t competent and after multiple trips spanning 2 full days still left us with a gas leak and exposed 220V electrical wires. European Granite was very helpful in resolving the issue but only paid for a portion of the cost to repair the damage. We ended up spending a total of $1100 for the gas line to finally be repaired properly by a reputable plumbing company. I will commend EGD for paying for our hotel for one night because we couldn’t stay in our house after being without heat and hot water for 3 days when it was 12 degrees outside. THEN, when we thought the ordeal was behind us, we noticed water under our sink about a week later. The plumber they had subcontracted came back out to inspect his work and said it was not his fault. We used our home warranty company to hire someone to come ($100 service fee) and we were told the plumber actually had done damage- he had cracked the pipe attached to our garbage disposal from tightening the ring too much. We ended up eating the $100 service fee so altogether we paid $450 for the sink hookup.

As I walked into the showroom I was very surprised to see so many different types of stone. Jada was awesome helping us pick out the countertop and Melisa was also very helpful in choosing the cabinets. Everyone at European Granite Design was very helpful and knowledgeable.Now here it is 5 months later and we decided to add a center island. Melisa was wonderful and within 2 weeks the island was installed and it looks absolutely gorgeous. The most wonderful staff & crew!!! Had European Granite Design do my kitchen a few weeks ago and it is just beautiful! Is the focus of my whole house :-) Thank you Goeke for all your help. Wonderfull selection in their warehouse and it is exciting to get to pick your own slab. They have an eye for true beauty! Will always recommend European Granite Design!!!

UPDATE: Our dishwasher was repaired by a wonderful, licensed plumber, for which Im adding a star. I wish hed been sent with the crew to do the job in the first place, as we were told would happen. It also would have been nice if I hadnt had to beg, cajole and plead to get him sent out for the repair. When even the contractor is saying: we need a plumber to do this part of the job, the salesperson should oblige.Unfortunately, I still cant give European Granite a great review as our job *still* is not finished. It was started on March 8th, so its been a full month now.While there were other imperfect aspects of the job, the biggest issue is that we paid for a solid slab backsplash and the backsplash that was installed does not actually reach the upper cabinets. Its also asymmetrical and the space was left completely uncaulked. The back and forth on this with the salesperson was absolutely exhausting and it was ultimately unproductive. He was dishonest with us and did a lot of finger pointing as to why this problem had occurred (honestly, who else could be at fault, here?). The rationales he gave were illogical and we wasted a lot of time debating.Eventually, 2 senior representatives came out and they were delightful to work with. Professional, customer service oriented, accountable, etc.However, the repair was not done very well - it looks very sloppy in places, and Ive seen better DIY projects, to be honest. And while they apologized and promised to make it right, 1) they want us (ie: not the professionals in this field) to come up with a solution and 2) even after we did the research and came up with fixes that might work, we havent heard from them. Weve tried to make contact, to no avail. To put it mildly, this is frustrating.When the job is finished, Ill update again. As it stands, we arent getting what we wanted, no matter what, which was a solid slab backsplash from the countertop to the upper cabinets. But hopefully, the final outcome will at least look professionally done.ORIGINAL REVIEW:They broke our dishwasher. If they repair it Ill edit my review accordingly. But in the meantime, a lower priced countertop doesnt do me any good if it comes at the expense of my new stainless dishwasher.

They came in very professional did the install and removal within two days. We picked out a white granite/marble mix and it really brightened up our kitchen. Were​ looking at purchasing new floors and will more than likely be using them for that as well.

My wife and I were quite pleased with the work performed by the installers of European Granite Design. The counter tops were professional installed. They are a class A business that provide excellent customer service from the time you enter their showroom to the installation of your purchased product.My salesperson greeted me as I entered the showroom and was professional and attentive to my needs. Everyone involved in the selection, sell, fitting, and installation process were top notch, skilled, and experienced. The installers were ready to install my granite ready within a few days. They were prompt on the day of installation and only took a couple of hours to install almost 100 square feet of countertop. I am so confident you wont find a better countertop company I recommend that you go to their competitors first -DONT BUY ANYTHING-until you go to European Granite Design and see how much better their prices and selection is in comparison.I went to a home show and ask multiple other countertop companies if they could beat or even match the quartz countertops I bought from European and no one could. Dont even bother to ask Home Depot or Lowes their prices are outrageous in comparison.Installation was flawless. They were a little early which was great. They placed blankets down so they would keep the floors clean, wiped down everything and swept when they were done. Great company!!

We highly recommend European Granite Design to those who are looking for great quality of granite, professional customer service and an exceptional installation process! I called on a Tuesday, the manager Emre asked if I can stop by that day to view their granite selection in which I did. Loved the fact that they had a variety of granite to choose from. I made a selection that Tuesday with salesman, Ahmed who also scheduled me for a final measurement on that Thursday, not to mention that I also scheduled my installation for the following Monday. To that end, I was able to make a selection and have my gorgeous granite countertops installed within a 1 week time frame! WOW! I couldnt believe it! Excellent experience from start to finish! Our kitchen looks brand new. The Europian Granite Design staff was professional, courteous and timely. Hussain and Almad were awesome to work with. They were accommodating and allowed us to view the countertops and backsplash prior to the installation which put us at ease. They went above and beyond to ensure we pleased with product. They definitely had a large selection of granite to choose from. I highly recommend this company for your countertop needs.

I walked into European Granite with an acute case of FOBO (Fear Of Better Options). I had visited chain stores and other local businesses numerous times only to leave out unsure and unable to commit. So when I arrived, I was ready to walk-in, get price quotes, and leave out. But, this was a different experience. I was greeted by a stranger with a smiling face who soon became my psychologist, my counselor, my interior designer, and someone I now refer to as Sister Jada.Instead of walking the aisles alone left with my own insecurities, Jada walked and re-walked the aisles, offered her expert advice and more importantly listened to me. I never have had such a personable experience. There was no pressure only a genuine need to ensure I was pleased with my purchase. The installers and the plumbers were just as professional and personal. And, even though the install is complete, Jada is still offering her expertise on wall splash, paint colors, and etc. to compliment the countertops. By the way, did I tell you I am in love my countertops? I am in love with my countertops, my experience at European Granite and my Sister Jada.

Great customer service from the representative Uasian who was very knowledgeable and assisted me , I was able to select a beautiful granite at an affordable price , they worked majic for me I believe as it was nearing Christmas and I had a project deadline in 7 days , eroupean granite came through in 3 days and had it installed I am so amazed with the quick response and the quality of my granite for my rental property , the installer was also knowledgeable and well mannered in the home ,I recommend them and I will use them for my other projects , from start to finish my experience was 5 Star

We are in the process of updating our kitchen and stumbled across European Granite. Working with this team of professionals was a great experience. The sales manager, Gohkan took his time to view the various granite and back splash options, explained the difference and offered great suggestions. Thereafter we received a cost estimate for free and then scheduled the installation. The craftsmen who installed the countertops and back splash were on time, very respectful and took pride in not only completing the job on time but providing a quality product. They did a thorough job cleaning up. We are in love with our new counter tops and the backsplash!!! As we continue to do various projects at our home we will definitely be using this company again. Needless to say, we would recommend European Granite to our family and friends.

Thank you for making my kitchen beautiful again ,they were very easy to deal with and I got my dream kitchen from them!They did my new floors ,cabinets,granite countertops and glass backsplash.The lowest estimate we got was $39,500 and we ended up getting everything for less than $20k from EGD.First we thought there was a catch but there wasnt ,they used good quality everything and their installers were very professional...Thanks for being honest and professional.

I just had my countertops and backsplash installed yesterday afternoon, and they look good. Better than I expected. Customer service is great and the professionalism of the installers is one of the best that I have seen. I had an issue with the electricity in my kitchen once the installers left and EGD sent someone back to my property within an hour to address and fix the problem. I will use them again.

We had some difficulties along the way, but thanks to understanding and willingness to accommodate by Melissa, as well as the very skilled and professional measurements followed by equally skilled installation crew everything worked out well and on time.The issue arose out of pre-ordering kitchen counters and backsplashes out of the remnant pieces that were available based on existing measurements. Basically, due to a miscalculation, the staff initially believed that they had enough square footage of a particular stone that they had in remnant pieces to do the job that was needed. After the measurement guy came out, it turned out that they had nowhere near enough. It was clear that I had to purchase a different stone from them, and from the new slabs, not remnant pieces, meanwhile prices went up since it was a new year.Ultimately after some back and forth European Granite agreed to honor the prices that they quoted me during my visit (a lot of variation in price due to new year price change, lack of clarity about stone category being discussed during visit and written into contract - A, B, C, there are a lot of different categories of granite).What puts this back to a five-star rating is a) the measurements were spot-on (my previous experience with a granite installer required three separate measurements and two installation attempts before they got it right) and b) the installation crew was very professional and fast (cleaned up after themselves, cut as much as they could outside, needed to make some cuts inside for power outlets and did it with shop vac to minimize dust, applied sealer and cleaned everything up after themselves).So Id use these guys again, and lesson learned to either allow them to do the first measure or to calculate all the square footages, etc. myself and check their math if ordering on the spot.

After doing a long research we decided to go with European Granite Design.I can definitely say that this company has the friendliest people working for them.They we were very patient during the granite slab selection process.We are very pleased with the service,price and the quality.We will definitely hire them again.
