In the past few weeks I needed to visit this particular post office several times. Three of those times I was serviced by a young man with the name of Chris. This postal employee did not show me any kind of assistance or professional behaviour. In fact he seemed to be annoyed that he had to deal with me and my issues. After my last visit to this post office I mentioned to my husband that I would be going back to the post office in Edgewater because the employees there are very friendly and helpful.Still I want the postmaster to know in what sad state of affairs his postoffice is operating; may be he appreciates our input and uses it to improve the customer service at this particular post office.

Finding a parking impossible !!! Employees use costumers parking instead of using their lot at the back and they dont mind about it.

The workers at front are so rude!.. 2 ladies very bad customer service... PLEASE !! Older lady has a horrible attitude... if they don’t like the job.. they should change careers but not treat customers bad!.

I always come to this USPS for any mailing needs. Everyone is so kind and helpful.I went in to drop a package yesterday and was being a pea-brain. Selected incorrect options when making the payment and asked the clerk to repeat what she said a few times. But Bhavna, the Indian clerk, was so patient and never once sounded irritated or annoyed. Thanks, Bhavna!

This place has been good during Covid, you have to wear a mask, and sometimes there’s a line but the staff is great.

I circled 4 rounds to finally get a parking spot but when I went inside there is only 1 customer other than myself. Who parks in the parking lot then???? They need to do sth about the Parking situation. It’s not centrally located in the town where ppl can simply walk to.Other than that, the employees there are courteous and very friendly.

The staff and service here have always been professional and friendly. This has been my best, most positive post office experience world-wide. Keep up the good work!

The single worst post office in the United States. I will go to Fairview, Fort Lee, even North Bergen to send mail, but I won’t go to Cliffside Park again. I made the mistake of giving it a chance again the other day, and I was once again sorely disappointed. I went around the block twice to find parking. Once I did, I went in and their was NO ONE inside. The parking lot is full of EMPLOYEES CARS.I then stood there for a solid 3 Minutes before someone came out and I startled them with my presence. In the post office. In the middle of the day. She told me someone would be out to help me soon. Another person comes by and is startled by my presence. Once again, in the middle of the day, in the post office. She also says someone will help me in a moment. Then she goes in back and screams that there are customers in the front.I walked out and won’t be going back. I just can’t anymore. Life is too short to waste, waiting for stupid people to get it together.

Every single time I get a package that does not fit in my mailbox [and even those that fit in my mailbox sometimes go missing], my package goes missing. I’m sick and tired of telling them not to leave my package in the mail room where anyone has access to the door and can come in and take it. They don’t even bother ringing the bell as a curtesy. They just leave the packages. I’m honestly starting to think my mail carrier is the one stealing them.The lady that picks up instead of resolving the issue and being proactive with the information I’m giving her, instead starts to argue with me. I had to hung up on her because of her ignorance. I hope management or corporate or whoever is in charge does something about it. I’ve had over 10 packages from the end of last year to this present time go missing. So disappointing, I have to worry about my package go missing than actually being delivered on time.

I love this post office. Everyone who works here so so nice! Whoever is leaving bad rating is an entitled degenerate, thinking the world owes you something. These are people like you and I trying to fulfill the processing of your useless crap that you bought. Chill out.

Went last minute on a Saturday to make a new passport and they were great, really nice attitude, very helpful and fast!!! Keep up the good work.

Granted this place is always busy and is small, they do a very good job. Rob and Denise are A+ employees. If you dont have patience, do not go here.

Horrible service! The management doesn’t care either! My package, something I paid for, was delievered completely to the wrong address and nothing is being done about it. If I could give them no star I would! My father has been a mailman my whole life and I’ve never experienced anything like this before moving to this town. Please at least people be honest if you get a package that’s not yours and at least give it back to the mailman the next day and say something or bring it to the right address yourself, you wouldn’t like it if it happened to you would you?! Honesty people! That’s all it takes when the postal service is this horrible!

I like the employees here, except the obnoxious older gentleman who drives the USPS trailer and drops off around 4:30PM. He acts like a 5 year old.

It seems like customer service skills are unheard of in this office. Simple things, like acknowledgement of customer or even addressing a customer with a simple Ill be right with you, I have to go in the back to get something.....no....when one person from the counter leaves the front, another one follows leaving the counters empty as if theyre getting paid to take an easy and not do their job.

Mail keeps getting delivered to my neighbors. ??? I keep getting other people mail delivered to my house. Does the mail person not read house numbers? I called 1800 number listed for gorge road post office to correct this but after 40 min hold time I hung up. No one picks up? Just awful service!

All the time delay and careless. All they say is “ sorry “ and doing nothing. I am sick of their mistakes. Worst place ever.

Iv shipped packages from here a bunch of times and have never had an issue. The staff has always been nice and patient with me even when I first started shipping and had to ask a lot of questions.

This post office is horrible. The person (s) who delivers mail to 596 Anderson is either drunk or sick or negligent. The mail is not being delivered. We lose checks and other important documents. The management is not helpful at all. We filed complaints but with no results. We find our mail piled on the floor or in the wrong boxes or never find it at all. We should proceed with legal action.Dr. Stein

I hate this place more than anything. My package was delivered on Friday but I couldnt get it. When I went to the post office (literally 2 minutes away from my house) to pick up my item, they didnt give it to Ne because Im 16. They said they can reschedule it for today. I said OK. The post office closes at 2. Its 3 right now. I called them and they said itll be deliver in 2 hours. Its 6:30. I called over 20 times but no answer. Im really pissed off because now I have to wait until Monday. I was lied to and something needs to be done about it.

From the postmaster down the chain of command, this post office location lacks professionalism. Countless packages have been lost and letters not recieved. I visit the Edgewater post office when mailing items.

Experience has been fine on site but local carriers are lazy, unprofessional and lie through their teeth. Do not buzz into apartments for signed confirmations, state that nobody answered and that they left a notice and meanwhile we can be in and out of our building lobby every hour with somebody listening at the buzzer and we dont see them and they never ever leave slips either so we have to hope and pray our items come in safely or take matters into our own hands. UPS, Fedex, Amazon all leave their absentee slips, their staff is courteous and acknowledges you and amazon even carries your items to your door. Many tenants here have had envelopes and boxes opened by our carriers, packages delayed and delayed and then sent in damaged. iPhones, MacBooks, family heirlooms, sensitive documents, everything. The mail carriers of the Cliffside Park Post Office station are the worst of the worst and have no appreciation for the benefits they receive from their position nor the faith placed in them by the citizens that their paychecks come from. The tenants of 464 have filed complaint after complaint and it is not getting any better. 0/5 stars if I could. A shame on the fine civil servants that came before you

My mail is not delivered half of the time. And now I have packages missing. The workers delivering the mail are clueless. This has been going on for months. And I keep having to bring other peoples mail to them. What the hell!!!! 😤😤😤😤😤

When you ship a package, remember to seal the package ahead. They dont provide the tape. You have to buy it in the store.

I hate this post office with a passion. Their customer survice is the worst i ever received. 2 of my package was lost or stolen. I wouldnt be surprise if they the ones taking them. Everytime i call they be having me on hold for 30 mins and longer.. this post office needs to be investigate because what going on in there isnt right..

Terrible. They took 7-8 months to fix an apartment unit mailbox. Guy at the post office didnt even apologize for the delay. Just no accountability. Its sad. Terrible lines when you go there too.

It doesnt matter if you pay Priority Mail 2-Day, the mail at Winston Towers in Cliffside Park, NJ takes an extra of 2 or more days to be delivered. This means it is delivered 2-more days later after the delivery date that the USPS website shows.
