I used Ace Taxi Service and it was a great experience! I missed the last bus and the next bus will arrive in about four hours. I called Ace Taxi and I was picked up shortly. I had a great experience and the driver was very be pleasant. I highly recommend Ace Taxi!

Driver was arrogant and rude and a horrible driver to boot. We asked him to slow down and stop tailgating at 70+ miles an hour and he refused. Scariest cabride we have ever had -and we are 82, so we have cab rides all around the world. Fortunately, I was able to hire a limousine service for the return trip to the airport- nice guy, good driver - a world of difference!We really thought we were going to die before we ever got to the Cleveland Clinic.

I scheduled for a taxi to the airport a few days before my trip. Online, the price was given as $61.60. The day before the trip, I get a call from Ace Taxi service informing me that the price online was incorrect and that the price is actually $88.90. That is a 44% difference. It is completely dishonest for a company to advertise a price online and then refuse to honor the advertised price. Ace Taxi is a dishonest company. They lie on their website to draw in customers and then change the price. Its a form of bait and switch. I gave one star because Im not allowed to treat them the way a dishonest company should be treated by giving them negative stars. But my actual rating is NEGATIVE FIVE STARS!

We booked them to pick up us at 3:30AM to take us to the airport and no one showed up. I Imagine trying to find someone who would take us to the airport at that time is difficult but we had to wake up one of our neighbors for a ride. This is not profesional! Very disappointed!

I rarely ever leave reviews. The taxi drove to the airport instead of picking me up at the correct address. This resulted in me missing my flight… as a taxi service, you can’t make these kinds of mistakes.MAIN POINT: Use the city’s taxi service in the morning - it’s cheaper.

Called them, Only to hear it will be there in 16 mins. Over and over again. My daughter is handicapped and was sitting outside or 2 hrs waiting for their 16 mins. Was able to order a taxi over the phone to get a taxi from downtown Cleveland in 15 minutes out to Lakewood abd then took us right back to downtown Cleveland for twenty dollars!Tge added bonus was instead of the 90 freeway the driver drove along Lake Erie on Clifton and enjoyed the view of the sailboats and beaches.

I booked a taxi online a day before I was set to need it. When it was time for the taxi to come,the company called me and advise that my tax would be 15 more dollars than I agreed to when I booked it. There was no explanation of this when I booked online. I couldnt cancel cause I really needed to get to get to my destination. This was a very shady practice. All fees should be posted prior to one booking the taxi. I will never use this taxi service again. I will definitely be contacting the attorney General and better business bureau on this company. Driver James was great though.

Ace Taxi provide transportation services and from my recent experience, the drivers, Kamoru and Paul were very accommodating, personable and prompt. The dispatcher was very professional and their text messaging and driver locator services are a plus, although the arrival time displayed may be off by a few minutes and the driver arrives earlier, I still received excellent service to and from my destinations. By the way, the vehicles that I rode in were exceptionally clean.

Does Ace Taxi understand that a 2.8 rating out of 5 stars simply makes them look pathetic?The driver who picked me up spoke very impatiently with me the very first time we spoke and yelled at my friend in the parking lot that he couldnt find me. I told him the correct pickup address when he asked, and he also had the correct pickup address. He behaved as though he was in an absolute panic attack and screamed at me for 5 minutes after picking me up. It was UNDENIABLY UNEXCUSABLE!!!!! Does ANYBODY at Ace Taxi or can ANYBODY at Ace Taxi have the ABILITY to muster up or scrape up enough proof of intellect to understand what UNDENIABLY UNEXUSABLE truly means? Theres no accountability or acknowledgement of any wrong doing by Ace Taxi, and the truth is the fault is 100% ace taxis because they are a business and the customer deserves respect and is always right! It is Ace Taxis responsibility 100% to look at the dates of the vouchers to make sure they take the correct vouchers and to not cause passengers to be shook up to the point they mistakenly mix the vouchers up and to conduct themselves appropriately and to treat customers decently! Booked a cab the night before for 4:25 AM. They called at 4:35 saying the cab was 15 min away. It arrived at 5:05, a full 40 minutes late, making for a very stressful morning at the airport. I had to call 5 times to get a response, and then was not offered a discount on the ride. Will never use again and recommend you don’t either.

Called for taxi service to provide ride to hospital appointments.1st Dispatcher could definitely use more training to improve communication skills and professionalism that would help the callers feel more connected and comfortable with choosing this company.. I had to call back for 2nd dispatcher to provide crucial information about the rider’s special needs due to a recent stroke which resulted in slower speech requiring extra time to get his words out and difficulty with memory for info at times. Needs a little more time to respond to questions. First dispatcher seemed hurried and not particularly interested or unable to use basic problem solving skills. Lacking people/social skills for working with the public I had to call back and 2nd dispatcher was more patient and expressed compassion and understanding. She was patient and made me feel better about meeting the special needs of the passenger. Assured me that notifications would be provided to the driver to help ensure a positive experience for the rider. Good for her .

I texted to cancel the ride. They send someone anyway. The driver blows up my phone. I texted him to tell him I had canceled the ride. At 3AM the owner texts me that I am blocked. I would also like to point out there were 6 different groups needing rides...6!! They are not a taxi service they are a private car service dressed in a mini van with poor customer service practices

Mr. James picked me up at a late time, but still not late enough to justify the fact that Uber and Lyft were out of cars. I was at a store about to close and Mr. James arrived in a timely manner to take me home. He was very pleasant and professional, drove in a safely manner and helped me load/unload my stuff on the trunk (something thats becoming increasingly uncommon in these uber/lyft times). His car was neat. The communication with Ace Taxi via phone was very effective, with text updates and returned calls. Even though it was a little more expensive than uber, the service Ace taxi provided me was great. Strongly recommend it. And thanks, James!

The attorney general needs to be contacted everytime they overbook knowing they dont have enough drivers. They are placing customers in a bind on a constant basis according to other reviews. Booked a ride 4 hours prior, called and asked them if I would AT LEAST get any notice prior to them canceling because the ride was needed. She replied They will not do that and theres plenty drivers I waited until they were 5 minutes late to call them and she replies Still searching for a driver.This is a Shady place and they falsely advertise when paying in advance with your card.

This is the worst taxi service ever!!!!!! Waited two and a half hours for a ride. I kept calling and all they would say was, We will contact the nearest driver and get them to you as soon as possible. Then when a driver shows up, he says that he doesnt take vouchers. How can you not take a voucher if the company you work for takes them. And the supervisor was just as bad. I cant make a driver take a passenger with a voucher if they dont want to. I need another taxi company to service Cleveland. It sucks when you are trying to help someone in need and this is the service they are provided with.

Doesnt speak a word on English. Unprepared, didnt know where we were going told him 3 times still didnt get it until the 4th time. And I was very unhappy with my service. One star is way too high a rating for this company. I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in one of their cabs. My wife was visiting from out of town and a security guard at the Q Center called and gave the exact pickup point. The driver screamed at her when she hadn’t seen the cab in 15 minutes when it was only 3 minutes away. Then the driver screamed at her for not knowing where she was. Then the fare was only $6 she gave him a $20 and he said get out and I’ll pull up and give change. Fortunately she said she would wait for change. He was most assuredly going to pull out with her change. He was so rude and obnoxious she was crying in her hotel room for half an hour later. When I found out about it I called their dispatch and on three calls was told they would put me they to a supervisor and was simply hung up on three times.

I should have read the reviews before booking a ride with Ace. The only reason I didnt uber was that I was unsure I would be able to get a ride to the airport at 5:45 in the morning. I booked a ride with Ace the night before, and to my surprise in the morning, the taxi wasnt there. I call the driver 10 minutes later, and was told he would be there in 15 to 20 minutes. At that point I canceled the taxi and had to drive myself to the airport. To be honest, I fully expect to have to dispute charges on my card for the canceled ride. Buyer beware

I have used this taxi twice in 2014 & find it very reliable and clean, and the drivers were very courteous. The first time I needed an early 5am pickup to Cleveland airport & they were on time and I had no problems. Both vehicles were large & comfortable. I definitely will keep using this service in 2015.

The cab actually arrive on time to take my wife to the airport, so t that was good.Just a special t thanks to Ace Taxi for making sure that the driver was a chain smoker.. it sure is nice being stuck in a van that is smoked in and having a tray full of ashes really adds to the ambiance. Luckily it was raining so opening a window was out of the question... How lucky can you get?!But the good fortune continues, she will have the pleasure of smelling horribly all day AND. The people around her will get to enjoy her aroma as well. Her ride got better because she was able to give the driver money, I bet that felt so good and a little sad at the same time because Im sure the cost of the fare was not nearly enough for the experience.AND maybe they need the extra money so they can put printer paper in the machine, but who needs a receipt for a cab ride to the airport to turn in to their company.Swell job Ace.

I scheduled a pickup at the airport, and they confirmed via text they were on their way. Called the driver when he was late, and he said it was 5 more minutes. 15 minutes later, I tried calling again--no answer. No response via text. I called dispatch and they said the driver picked up somebody else. Dispatch offered to send another taxi in 15 minutes (well over a half hour of waiting at this point). I just went with Uber. Uber is soooo much better service.

We did have to get a little creative with all of our luggage but the driver was on time and helped us fit all our luggage in the vehicle.They were on time, helped us get our luggage in the van and helped us unload at the airport.Service date: 10/12/2014 @ 6:30AM

Some of these reviews scared me off, but I needed a taxi at 3:15am and there arent a lot of options. I was extremely impressed with the dispatchers, the whole text notification system they have set up, and the ride itself was prompt and pleasant. I called them again at a more reasonable hour for the return trip, and everyone was equally helpful, prompt, and professional. Its good to know there are dependable cabbies even at that ungodly hour of the night when the trains and buses from NYC all happen to arrive in Cleveland.

My cable driver was right on time, and when I said which BMV I was heading to, he recommended one that would cost me a lot less for the ride. He got me there and back on time, and was really patient when my errand ended up taking a whole lot longer than planned. He still waited the whole time. An interesting guy. Absolutely despicable. An international client used this service from Cleveland airport to our facility with no problems. When it came time to leave, she scheduled a pick up by calling. They schedule appointments using an automated voice.She scheduled an appointment for 5 pm and they bailed on her. After scheduling a 2nd appointment, they cancelled again.This company is unreliable, unprofessional, does not confirm appointments, and makes no attempt to contact you if they have to cancel or reschedule.

This place is horrible. I called to order a taxi and they dispatched on time but the driver cancelled on me and nobody called to inform me I called back and they sent me another driver but he called and said he was outside but the jerk was not there. I asked if he had the correct address. He gave me my address and everything. He lied. He then called the manager to say I never shower up but I was in the same line as the manager. He got caught up in the life and just hung up on me and his boss. I was then transferred to a supervisor. Supervisor personally promised to find me a can in 15 minutes. Im to this day still waiting for his call. Dont waste your time and money.

I must first say that the cab driver was wonderful and I felt badly for him. I called for a taxi from this company an hour before I needed one. As Im on hold to get a dispatcher, I noticed and clicked on the reviews. To my surprise, they were bad ratings. The dispatcher came on and I told her there were terrible reviews, but I would give them a chance. Well ladies and gentlemen, Im sorry to say, they lived up to their bad ratings. The taxi was 35 minutes late and I had 15 minutes left to catch my chartered bus ride out of town. The driver told me there was no one really available to fill the order, plus the weather made it difficult to get there. To me, the dispatcher should have said that and give the customer an option to take a chance. If it was just a casual ride to get to someones house, fine, but I had a connection to catch. So for this, I say shame on me, but NO MORE!

Back in 2007 I called them to take me to the Amtrak station for a 7:00 am train. When I called, I answered all the questions asked, but the next morning no cab. I called and they said they didnt have all the info. When I told them they didnt ask, the person said, It should have been natural. They even addressed me as maam (Im a guy). By the time the cab showed up and got me downtown, I missed the train and had to take a Greyhound Bus to get home in time. I asked for an apology and to reimburse me with no response.

Tried these idiots as Americab Clevelands line suddenly went out of business and did not want to depend on Uber or Lyft for a ride to the Airport at 4:30 a.m. on a Sunday. Big mistake. Jerk texted me he was en route at 4:10 then didnt show up until 4:50 a.m. Of course no apology was offered after I told him how late he was. Nearly missed my plane. I only gave them three stars because it seems like they are trying to get better, and the drivers were all nice to me! But all of my other experiences with them, I had to wait 2 and a half to three hours for someone to pick me up, not good if you have to be somewhere immediately. What hurt me the most was a few months ago, I called them because my grandma was dying, and it was already late and I didnt want to get on the bus so I figured a cab would be quicker... I waited 3hours and had to call my brother to pick me up. Finally they called me (AFTER I cancelled the ride mind you) that they were outside 4HOURS after I initially called! I was already at the Suburban Pavilion and I had to tell him AGAIN I had cancelled... I guess it depends on the time and day, the past few days they were ready before I even was, and I had them take me to work... But when I had a modeling audition they made me late because I had to wait over an hour... so if you arent in a hurry use them, if you are, I suggest you call someone else!

I work for a business that Ace install an actual box with a button to push to order a cab. The device sucks, just as well as the company cab service itself. The box was useless. Should be a zero star option. Scheduled a full sized van to pick me and my family up at the airport and they sent a car too small to accommodate us. When I informed the driver, he just rolled up his window and drove off. When I then spoke to the dispatcher, she said she would find a van and would call me back in a minute. 40 minutes later they call and ask if Im still waiting. Its also clear they are using an uninformed outside call center to take their calls. When I originally booked the van the call center agent read her script directions to me. This company told me the wait would be approximately 15 mins its been 2 HOURS!!!The cabs are allegedly tracked in real-time via GPS yet they cant give you pick up times! I was told told that the cab was less than 2 miles away over an hour ago! I made an online reservation through their online system since getting public transit to Clevelands amtrak for the time it leaves is nearly impossible, and Ace advertises itself as a 24/7 taxi service. I made the reservation online the day before my departure to pick me up. I called 20 minutes ahead of the pick up time to make sure someone would be coming. I wait until after my time window is up (35 minutes later) and no one is there, and Ace Company didnt follow up. I called a second time and they said someone would be dispatched, and to call back if no one came. I called another 20 minutes again when no one again showed up, telling them I needed to be at the Amtrak station or I would miss the train. The dispatch operator told me I would be put on high priority and someone would come right away. They took ANOTHER 20 minutes to call me back to tell me they would be there in 15-20 minutes. I waited again, getting a fifth and final call when they should have been here, telling me they were on their way, and would be (yet again) 15-20 minutes. I basically had it at that point and cursed out the driver over the phone, threatening to call a different cab company. If my phone had not been freezing up, I would have gotten a ride from another company. The driver did eventually arrive (at 6:40 am when he should have been here at 5-5:20 am), and managed to get me to my destination. Had the train been on schedule too, I would have missed it. (Amtrak only runs through Cleveland once a day, so I basically couldve been stranded downtown). Had I missed the train, I wouldnt have paid for the cab.If anyone wants a cab company in the early morning hours, do not trust this one. Even with a whole days notice, they were 90 minutes late, and I nearly missed my train.

This company is the worst if you have a voucher. They state that there is no car in your area. I thought the idea of a taxi company is to come to you when you call not when a car is in your area.

Horrible company! A driver got into an accident with my family member and gave her a hard time to admit guilt and settle. Its been years and she still hasnt received payment from the accident she had with them. Horrible to hit someones car and not pay for it even when its proven that you were wrong! I will never do business with this company..

Service is inconsistent. They used to serve my area for at least 3 years, then they stopped one day for unknown reason. Very confusing that online order still takes the unserviced area and actually makes the reservation. Someone called to tell me that my area wasnt covered anymore, but she didnt know or seem to care why.

Called for a taxi the other day, was told they would try to find someone. Never received a call back or a taxi. Another time ordered taxi ahead of time, and when it was time to be picked up they couldnt find a taxi to pick me up. Making me late for my appointment, because I gad to find other means of transportation.
