Had hesitation during acceleration, dealers said needed a new transmission ($3600.00). We took it here for a second opinion. They couldn’t find anything wrong with the transmission but did recommend checking the throttle body ($200.00). Big cost difference!! Got it replaced and have had no further problems. Very nice to find an honest company to have confidence in. I would and have recommended these guys time and time again.Great job guys, thank you.

Dropped off my BMW X5 to have the transmission rebuild. Great service I believe I talked to Phill about it and he was knowledgeable and polite. Not once did he talk to me like I was stupid or talked down to me when asking certain questions. They were time efficient and their warranty that they offered was the best 1 I heard of since I moved to Tennessee. Its been very difficult to find a place to work on this vehicle that I can trust. Even though Im about an 1hr & 30min away from them, it was worth the drive. I will definitely recommend and use them again if needed.

I highly recommend Superior Transmission to anyone. I had them remove a new burnt up transmission from Monster Transmission (had probably less than 500 miles on it) and install a new one they sent to replace it. If I had it all to do over again I would have just had Superior Transmission build me a new one. My vehicle did have to sit in the way while they waited on Monsters slow process of sending me the replacement. Once Superior Transmission finally did receive the new replacement the installation was super fast and everything has been great so far. Only thing I am afraid of now is this transmission from Monster! If you are looking for a new transmission please take my advice and stay away from Monster Transmission! Put your trust into the local shops and I can promise you that you will get way better customer service. Give Superior Transmission a call!

Phil and his staff are the best. I could not recommend Superior more highly. They are going to do their best to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. It can be hard to trust mechanics, however, you can trust that Phil and his people will never look to gouge you. They are honest and helpful people that know their reputation is more important than any one transaction. If there is an inexpensive fix, theyll do it. If you need transmission work, go to Superior.

I cannot say enough about Phil and his whole team. No one ever wants transmission trouble because you know its usually going to be expensive. But how do you put a price on the thing that gets you or your husband back and forth to work every day or gets your grandbabies to school on time? You cant. Phil was highly recommended to us and I can see why. He was amazing to work with from beginning to end. Both of the ladies that helped us at the front desk were so kind and sweet as well. Not only did Phil rebuild the transmission on my Buick, but he gave me a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty AND actually had my car washed, vacuumed and tires shining when we came to pick it up! They not only did what needed to be done, but did what they didnt have to and went the extra mile. In this day and age, a lot of people do the bare minimum and how nice it was to see someone go above and beyond. My car now runs like it did when it was brand new. They were knowledgeable, kind, helpful and AWESOME through this whole process and I couldnt imagine taking my car anywhere else.

If youve ever dealt with that, you know how meaningful it is to be spared that run-around. This is made even more important since the car is a HYBRID! It has been several weeks since Phil fixed my Honda accord and it has not leaked a drop. Originally a Honda dealer said it was leaking from the front transmission seal and it would cost $2200 dollars to fix.Took car to Superior Transmission and Phil found axle seal leaking and said he was confident that would fix leak. And the cost was $230, a big difference from $2200 Honda wanted. If you have a transmission problem, you need to have Phil and the folks at Superior Transmission look at it they are fast friendly and best of all they do a great job.

An expensive repair since the automatic transmission on our 2011 Ford Excape demolished itself. Photos showed a real mess with broken parts everywhere. We were given a reasonable quote which was adhered to and the transmission has performed great in the month that followed. Great work and we were always kept informed. Had to have transmission repaired recently. Staff was helpful and the tech that worked on my car was friendly and not only explained but also showed me the work he had done to my vehicle. The work wasnt cheap but transmissions usually arent and it came with a very good warranty which means they stand by their work. Highly recommend.

I had to get my transmission rebuilt. Superior had fixed it a couple of years earlier right before I bought my vehicle. The transmission had a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty which I was 1200 miles over when it went out. Regardless, it was over warranty. They gave me a break on the price for having to fix it again. They walked me through the entire place explaining the process and how they do what they do. Heres hoping for a much longer lasting transmission!

An automatic transmission repair service that was willing to repair our manual transmission for us. Friendly and honest, everything was explained in detail and we were treated quite nicely. The parts used were what I wanted and not what the others insisted on using. Service was fast and the price was better than what the others wanted for cheaper parts. Theyve been in business for 27 years, I believe that they said. The wife runs the front desk and if we ever need trainsmisson repair again, we wont even look elsewhere. (I did my research).

Our car died 600 miles from home. The Superior Trans team sent a tow truck, prioritized and repaired our car, and returned it to us all within six hours. The price was fair and the service beyond our expectations. Obviously customer service is just as important as the repair.

Did a rebuild on a 4l60e, works great, 2 year warranty on the whole thing. Fast and honest.

I had to take my car in for transmission work and ended up not getting the repair because it was too expensive (entire transmission had to be rebuilt).They didnt charge me a dime for looking into it and let me keep my car there while I worked on finding a buyer. Really grateful for that.

A few years ago I have a VW Jetta with a shifting problem. I went to some import place on North Lee highway and they wanted to charge me $1200 to test and fix the problem. I went to Superior Transmission and I only paid $150 and all that needed to be fix was a speed sensor. Love this place.

Excellent service, fair prices

Took a part to them on a Monday to have them look it over. It took them 4 days to come back with a quote just took look at it and it was WAY over priced. I told them not to look at iton a Friday at 3pm, that id come by and get it. Went by there that Monday and they had taken it all apart basically so I would have to pay something. I had to pay $160 plus tax because of THERE mistake! REDICULOUS!!!! They said it all looked good, but how do you trust someone who just ripped your ass. I will never be back, and I hope you steer clear of this place also. If you can trust them with a part already out of your car how can you trust them with something you cant see? There level of integrity is 0.
