First off, Monica is the best! I called from out of state since no one in my area would return my calls to alter my wedding dress. I was coming into town and thought I would reach out to see if there was any hope in having Monica alter my dress on short notice. She was recommended through a family member and I knew I would be in good hands when she fit me in and I had my appointment. She worked on my dress and kept it for three months until I would be back into town for my next fitting. I had another 3 fittings within two weeks leading up to the wedding and she was so incredibly sweet and worked so hard to make my dress fit perfectly. They are also super affordable -- 100% recommend! Thank you so much, Monica!!!

So I had my dress hemmed and it cost 30.00 for just a simple hem.It costs same price as the dress.I didnt expect it will cost me that much.I just had my dress cut because it is too long for me.Sad.

They do a great job with hemming my jeans. Not an easy task! I get very fancy jeans which are usually extra long because thats how us cowgirls like them... but Im very short! They are very professional and do a great job. I will continue to use then.

It is two weeks today since I dropped curtains off to be hemmed. Dont have them back yet!!

Our bride, groom and both families took all of our wedding attire to Monicas for alterations. The service was amazing. The clothing was perfect on their big day. We cant say enough about how kind and accommodating they were to all of us. Would highly recommend.

I dropped off a shirt to be altered and upon trying it on when I picked it up, found that the problem with the shirt had not been completely fixed. The seamstress took the shirt back to try to fix what was supposed to be fixed when I first dropped it off after she had already had it for over a month. When I got it back the second time, I was told it couldn’t be completely fixed because the shirt was a man’s cut.I most recently gave this business 2 ladies shirts on March 27 so they could fix the diameter of the sleeves on these. The seamstress said there would be no problem fixing this on these shirts. 5 weeks went by and I hadn’t received a call to pick up my shirts so I went down to their shop to find out what the status was of my alterations and I was told they were laying on a table and it wasn’t known how far Monica got on fixing my shirts. I was told they would be done a few days later. I called a few days later to find out the work wasn’t done. I gave them an extra 10 days and then went to the shop, I tried the blouses on to find they still had not been properly fixed. Now it was over 7 weeks since I gave this shop what should have been a quick simple fix...Not a 7 week wait to have the alterations not done right and not completed. I took my shirts and brought them to another alterations business who told me she could have them ready in 3 days or before that if I needed them sooner. She also told me that the work done on the shirts so far needed to be done differently. This new alterations shop also showed me where Monica had taken in the seams on the waistline of the shirts which I had not even asked to be done...Monica’s was only supposed to take in the sleeves which they could not even properly do after 7 weeks and 2 different chances to fix those shirts. The new alterations place had them done in 2 days and they were done properly.The folks at Monica’s are very nice and that is why I wanted to give them that other chance, but the timeliness in getting alterations back and their ability to fix what should not have been difficult was very much lacking and unacceptable at least in my case.

She did a beautiful job shortening the sleeves on my blazer (lining included!) and repairing the beading on my gown. Very affordable, quick, and reliable!

Terrible experience! I gave her 6 weeks to make alterations on my dress. She waited until THE DAY OFF to fix my dress!!! My items were thrown together and glue wasnt even dry. Im highly disappointed in the service and wanted a FULL REFUND! Very TERRIBLE! I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND THIS TO ANYONE. I explained the items were for a pageant and you could see how sloppy of a job was done to my dress! My stones fell off and my dress was not pressed before picking it up! I asked for a cape and it was not made until THE DAY OF PICK UP! It was too small and NOT what I asked for! I wouldnt wish this on anyone. I was so distraught on my pageant day. I even paid to have a seamstress fix the mess. Im highly disappointed. I even contacted my financial institution. I worked too hard to have my entire day ruined with the work done at this place! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! DO NOT GO HERE!

If I could put negative stars I would, definitely should have listen to the bad reviews. I brought my wedding dress here in the beginning of May to gave it taken in by July we had a meeting July 7th she texted me as I was walking out the door for our appointment told me she hadnt even touched it you had it for two months! How do you tell a bride you didnt work on the dress and it needs to be rescheduled a week before the wedding. I had to have her put a rush on it. I went in to meet with her again at a scheduled time and she again hadnt finished I had to wait as she said oh yeah let me do it real quick... Please be advised of this place if you have a deadline...
