It’s been a while since I have been to a laundromat but I was impressed. I can say the female attendant, Glenda was very attentive. She provided great customer service. I am very satisfied with this laundromat. I will definitely return.

I really dont understand all the bad reviews i read about this place. We were greeted by the woman working there as soon as we walked in. She was very nice and pleasant the whole time. We went there at 3:30 on a sunday with a TON of stuff to wash. She gave me no hassle like another reviewer said. Even when she started cleaning up she told us no rush, take our time, that she was just cleaning the machines no one was using. Honestly the only thing was that there were quite a few people there and its kinda of a tight squeeze as its a small building. Other than that i really couldnt complain about anything. Every machine i used worked perfectly fine and everything was clean. I would recommend it no problem based on my visit.

My dryer at home broke while I was drying my blankets (which were still soaking wet thanks to my dryer) so I ended up coming to the laundromat and she was even about to close but she was super kind enough to let me dry my blankets anyways. I’m super thankful because she really saved my butt! I definitely recommend them!

I came at the last minute to dry a load of clothes when I realized my dryer quit working. The lady was gracious enough to let me quickly put them in the dryer.

I’ve been coming to English Cleaners for almost 9 years now and they’ve always gotten the job done right! If you need a wash/dry/fold this is the place to go! Always on time with getting my laundry done, and usually done earlier than expected! Linda and Denver are sweethearts and always willing to help out with any questions! I don’t go anywhere else!

The first time I went there it was pretty obvious that it was my first time LOL so I was asking for help with pretty much everything and the guy who worked there was so helpful and so was the other people just trying to get their laundry done as well they were so nice. All of the machines are very easy to follow instructions and work very well, the dryers worked better than expected. The only thing I didnt like is I needed bleach and the baby bottle of Clorox was like 399 which is crazy to me. But nobody likes going to the laundromat luckily this laundromat isnt a bad one, I do plan on going there again

Went to go and do laundry today for the first time because we just moved here, and there is a sign on the door that there are no pillows allowed in the washing machines. I asked the woman at the counter and she said that the owner was getting too cheap to keep fixing the broken washers because of pillows. I told her how the heck is somebody supposed to wash a pillow if you can’t stick it in a washer? She said I don’t know you’d have to go elsewhere. I said well then I will go elsewhere and you’re losing a lot of business. This is exactly how the conversation went. I would not recommend this business to others, especially if you have to wash pillows. #Cheap-o owner.

English cleaners made my first trip exceptionally smooth. They exceeded my expectations from helping me figure out the machines, to giving me advice on a down feather comforter a previous cleaner may have ruined. They even offered to clean my comforter before charging me to make sure I was satisfied. On top of that they offered me a discount on my first cleaning and repeat cleanings. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. I am beyond happy with my experience!

Attendants always friendly and helpful, especially Linda. Who always has a smile.

The attendant was kind but that doesn’t make up for the rest of the experience. Building is old and dirty. Over half the machines were out of order. The machines that worked were thirty years old(with the exception of a few new ones). Will not return…

This male attendant not only voiced he didnt want to be there, he acted like I wasnt suppose to be there either. He chooses who he is polite, manipulating my dryer, clothes werent even completely dry, just disgusting attitude but non stop Christian TV program playing, that hes very into... what a Contrite spirit!. If you can avoid him like COVID, there were a few good newer machines that seemed to have washed well.

I ve been going here for the last year since my dryer went out. Linda always greets me and everyone else as they enter and leave with a warm hello or see you next time. She is always in a great mood somehow. This place is kept clean and if you have any questions Linda is more than happy to help you. She makes the chore of going to the laundry mat a pleasant experience!

So many issues I would not know where to begin! The bottom line by far the most expensive laundromat I have ever seen in my life!

Whoever was working was very rude to several customers. Threatening to turn off washing machines after he watched them load and pay. Saying it was almost time to close when he had 45 minutes still and machines take 20 to 25 minutes. Yelled at someone else about what machines she using. Would not go back even if I had too.

I had not been to a laundromat in years. Linda was wonderful and so very helpful. It was a good experience. The place is clean and nice. thanks Linda.

I washed my clothes there and the manager ms Linda was such a nice and warm person and made my experience while there very warm, she has a beautiful warm personality, and shes very professional the way she runs her business. I will tell all my associates about her, she really made my day.

If machines are repaired this would be a great place to wash. They have the big blanket/quilt size washers but I cant wash my clothes not enough small load machines that work. The female attendant sweetly greats everyone with Joy

After spending 100$ washing clothes. I was told to leave before my clothes were dry. She told me if I didnt take them out of the dryer she would turn the dryer off from the back. This wasnt at 8:00pm. This was at 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon! After she complained about not getting enough hours and the company operating in the RED. Doesnt seem like they want to make any money. The good thing is, they are not the only laundromat in town anymore.

The lady who work there work hard

Ive been using this facility for a year or so after my divorce. I make sure to go Saturday or Sunday mornings so I can see Linda. She is always helpful and knowledgeable about whats going on. Plus she helps past the time with her great personality.

Linda is always nice and makes sure my laundry is on time and perfectly folded.

Ive been going here since moving to Florida 3 years ago. The best attendants anytime I go. Day or night even weekend when its the busiest. They just always seem happy. They like their customers. They do excellent dry-cleaning too.

I am from out of town and yesterday I accidentally left my laundry here....I was so worried because it was everything I owned....but when I came back this morning linda had my clothes bagged up and in my basket....from now on whenever I am in Florida I will be using this laundry mat!!!!

Weve been using this dry cleaner for nearly a decade, and they always deliver on time, have never lost or ruined a garment, and the place is usually pretty clean and the staff is friendly. The owner is very personable and accommodating.

Just about EVERY dryer had a note of its mechanical issue.. doesnt get hot, glass missing, doesnt tumble.. out of 20 only 6 work and two of the 6 was exclusive for the dry cleaning service.. BUT but the place was very clean.

Never take shoes you will never get back. three attempts, finally I told them to just bring back. They sent them backed. The lady at cleaners helped me by calling, and calling.

This is probably the best, cleanest, most well kept laundry mat I have ever been to in the Southeast. The attendant was very helpful and friendly. The machines were fair priced, as well as the assortment of snacks that are offered to waiting patrons. Great place.

Weve been doing business with English Cleaners for 10 years and continue to be impressed with the courteous staff and incredibly helpful atmosphere. We highly recommend for dry cleaning and and wash/dry/fold.

Its just okay when needed to go there. Its a 50/50 chance you get a good dryer or you end up spending lots more money to get your clothes dry. I did okay yesterday but there was a lady who put like $4 in each dryer to finally have her clothes dry my clothes dried in $2 each dryer and my towels were $3 each dryer. So $10 to dry 4 loads and $5.50 and $7.50 to wash in the bigger machines for double loads. So for 4 loads of clothes it cost me $23. That is just a bit ridiculous

The washing machine stole 4 dollars from me and when I told staff they said that I was lieing, I brushed it off and went to another machine (because Im on vacation and Im out of clean clothes) I went to my car because I had forgotten laundry softener and when I walked in the door they told me that no outside products can be used. And I said youre softener is double the price and I already have my own whats the problem, then the lady yelled at me to get my cloths and leave or else she would call the cops....overall not recommended...

Ive been going to this laundry almost two years never had an issue unless Linda is working! Shes beyond rude and impatient. On one occasion she was upset that customers were using the front door wrong pulling instead of pushing so she turned off the ac off in 90 degree weather. Machines are constantly broken in there. My husband was doing laundry and Linda started to unload his clothes touching his personal belongings, because she felt he was loading to much clothes. We have done laundry for many years ! I called asking for her bosses number and she refused to give it to me ! Needles to say I will not be back in there only to talk to the boss about his employees behavior.

Im a regular customer of this place but after today no more..went in at 6:30pm to dry my clothes and got kicked out because they said they were already cleaning to close.they close at 7pm.AND IT WAS 6:30PM!!. As much as explained it only take 15mins to dry clothes,still got kicked out...

You do not want to go to this place. Cheap price was good for a while but then almost every 2 weeks they lost clothes and then would find them/. Last straw - lost suit pants to a $300 suit and 3 expensive shirts...Went by twice and left 3 messages for owner / manager to call me back. No call back. You know whats next.. Attorney friend is now handling case for free. If I hear back, Ill let you know but for now, RUN.

Ive been coming to this laudromat for years & today was the worst Ive ever experienced!!!!There is no sign on the dryer that is not working so i brought it to the workers attention. Sure enough the heat is not up to par & she refuses to refund my coins so that i can dry in another machine...buslllshit!!

My family and I had a flood in our host which Caused a lot of out clothing to be wet. The older lady working the counter complained that we had too many stuff to wash because we just so happen to get there early before the rush and ppl had to wait. WE ARE PAYONG CUSTOMERS TOO. Tbh I think she was only like that because we are black. They are still getting money regardless. That’s like a restaurant getting made when big parties come in but spending a lot of money. Never coming back. Rather wash my clothes by hand then go back there.

Please don’t pay extra for hot water. Told the attendant he will not acknowledged my complaint. Second time happening to me.

It’s the only laundromat in the area. Washers are old and could be cleaned but it’s not a terrible place.

Ive been going to this Laundromat on and off 21 years. I went tonight and the people where rude and nasty. I will never go there again. i moved to Clermont in 1993 and Ive been a customer for a very long time. I use to bring my Dry Cleaning and used the washer when my washer broke or was behind on laundry. I went into the back door tonight like I always did and was yelled at because that is where the larger machine it. I will never go there anymore. Ive always been nice and polite.

Worst laundry I’ve been to. Most of the machines were broken, of the ones not working my clothes did not even get clean and then the dryers didn’t dry- spent way too much money for damp and dirty clothes- would not recommend.

The first time we dropped off alot of clothing. It was done the next day and their even took the time to hang alot of them. Very professional staff. Thank you for you hard work and dedication..

Very good prices for the size of the machines. Some washers are out dated but most of them are the newest Ive seen in a long time. This is my all time favorite laundry mat, and i wont be going anywhere else!

Customer service is horrible. Gentlemen up front was extremely rude. Asked him about the cost of getting a comforter cleaned. He guessed saying I think thats right. I told him ok I would like to have it done and he just started doing other things and ignored me. After a couple minutes I took my comforter and left. He never stopped or asked me anything.

I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years now and it seems as if this place is falling apart. Some washers and dryers don’t work or they stop working when one is using it and the ceilings look in poor conditions. There is also no A/C so they kee the doors open. It’s going to start to get hot and i know the wind won’t help how hot this place gets. I don’t like how this laundromat has came to since i first began coming here.

When I need to wash my large comforters they have washers large enough to handle the load. Besides that quarters are always getting stuck in the machine.

This laundromat is awful, every time I go washers and dryers are out of order! Their dryers don’t DRY!The tables are very dirty and their washers are too. They replace the broken washers to OLDER WORSER washers supposedly they are NEW and they are NOT!!The prices are ridiculously over price and PLUS they charge now taxes on snacks and drinks. Which they never did. Only on laundry detergent.I DON’T RECOMMEND ANYONE COMING HERE!

Probably the worst people i have ever dealt with. purchased a groupon for $25 for $50 worth of dry cleaning. Was told my clothes would be ready yesterday after 6. I went in around 6:30 and was told they were always late and they should be there by 7. I showed up twice, the first time I was told she didnt know where my stuff was and there was nothing she could do about it and she didnt know where the clothes get cleaned and didnt have a phone number. Was finally able to get a hold on the Altamonte springs location where they dry clean the clothes and was told half my order was in Clermont waiting to be picked up and the other half was still in Altamonte Springs. The lady refused to honor the groupon and told me too bad she doesnt know how to accept groupons and i needed to pay cash for my stuff. So two days later I only received 2 ties and still missing 5 dress shirts.... everyone there is clue less as to what is going on and they can care less. STAY AWAY!
