Simply AMAZING. Their customer service is exceptional and when renting a car, customer service and price are 90%, the remainder is being given a car that won’t leave you stranded. I’m a retired American diplomat & have rented cars everywhere and my experience with GotRentalCars has been EXCEPTIONAL. They offered the best price for zero deductible in France and responded to my many inquiries promptly. Because of COVID European travel restrictions I had to delay my reservation 4 times & each time they managed to find me the best price. I’m truly grateful. I’d urge you give them a try.

I wanted to cancel my booking but my reservation did not appear on the website and I couldn t cancel it. I tried to call them and nobody is answering. I sent several emails to cancel my booking but I got no reply. This is not professional as they took the money upfront. Their terms and conditions allow for cancelling free of charge but this is impossible to cancel. Therefore this company is dodgy and I am afraid about not getting my money. Be warned!!!!!

GREAT SERVICE!You should know what your getting yourself into, but everything is well legible and written. This is not a rental car company but a third party service with negotiated rates. Same as many others.Their rates have always been great. Service on par. I have used them countless times (literally).The bad reviews seem to originate from people who havent read or understood the service they are booking.

Staff are extremely rude. I did a car rental reservation with SkyScaner.com which used GotRentalCas.com and only two days before my trip someone by the name John called me saving that I had to pay way more money for my reservation and the car I reserved was not Available anymore. So I was going to be charged for something was inferior. Be careful with this company. Don’t allow them to mess up with your vacation as they did with mine

UPDATE: after getting a phone call from one of the managers here at Got rental Cars I decided to change to a 3 star as they at least tried to help out a bit. They explained that they are a third party in the whole scheme of things and that they only recommend or have certain dealers they work with. They offered and gave a 20.00 credit from the 200.00 that I spent which they stated was their commission. The remainder went to Executive Van Rentals. Executive did refund the Uber charge for me but that was it!Got Rental Cars stated that they would not be using Executive Van Rentals out of California any longer, but if they do I would WATCH OUT! As that experience was Horrible horrible horrible.... stay away! The company never picked us up at the airport, had to get an Uber because they would not answer their phone. The address that they have on file was incorrect and took us to a building that was closed. Then they could not find reservation, and stuck us in a car that was on empty, had damage all over and smells like smoke!!! They DO NOT CARE EITHER.

Tried to reserve car, payment sent via car, but my reservation number didnt work and I didnt received any confirmation email about my reservation. Now I will try to reverse my card payment, dont use this service! After few days they sent me the confirmation email and it is ok.

Everything went smoothly and the service team was responsive and competent. I would rent with them again.

SCAM! I didnt collect the rental car. Cancelled in good time. Followed the procedure outlined. Spoke to them on the phone. All before the collection date. I was still charged the full amount. They got 300 pounds from me for nothing. Please dont repeat my mistakes.

The worse car rental website in the world. Waiting for a refund for over 3 weeks now and no one actually answers or returns phone call from the UK number. Have had to call the USA number and getting the same response they are waiting for the car company to say that I didn’t collect the car. Well...... gotcarrentals know I didn’t collect the car as I called you on the same day stating they wanted a £2500 deposit and only take specific cards for a 3 day rental and I have spoken to the same person every time. I’ve rented cars world wide and no one has ever asked for a £2500 deposit on top of the rental fee.

Lots of hidden charges with Rentacar4lessmiami. I had to pay a lot more than I expected. CANADIANS PLEASE DONT RENT CAR WITH THAT COMPANY BECAUSE THEY DONT RECOGNIZE THE INSURANCE COVERAGE FROM CANADA. My contract went from $239 canadian to $685 US- They are a bunch of thieves. NEVER AGAIN!

Beware, I paid this company upfront and they do not care if the car rental company is crooked. NEVER agree to included collision damage insurance---it makes your credit card coverage null and void. The company was Hertz in Cancun and they made our experience horrible by detaining us and forcing insurance on us which double our cost. The really painful part was dropping off the car. They charged bogus taxes on top so the deal I got online through Gotrentalcars cost me triple the amount by the end. The trick here was accepting a deal that had a deductible on the collision damage that was included in the online deal. Never accept an offer like this because it makes your credit card collision damage waiver obsolete. You agreed to their inclusion of it with a deductible and that deductible is $2000!!!! So you are forced to buy their insurance to cover the deductible portion. Crooks!!!

We reserved a car online using a credit card. When no confirmation email came through we decided to try another company. At the end of the month we saw the charge on our credit card so I tried to call them to explain we never used their services. (FYI, the answering machine is off most of the time!) When I finally got through to a human -- he said he name was Lawrence -- he looked up our charge and confirmed we were listed as a no show and promised me he would put the credit through, saying it takes 3-5 business days for it to appear on my card. Over a week later the credit was not posted, so I called again. Lawrence swore that he had issued the credit the day I called and promised it would appear by the end of the week. One week later... no credit on my card and no one answers their phone. Im going to report them to the credit companies. Their MO is obviously to make the banks absorb the cost of their fraud.

This is an awefull site, its a 3rd party.Dont use it. Numbers to call them dont work. Called them for days, used all numbers and no-one answered the phone. Charged me, but never sent me a confirmation or actual location. I had call several car rentals to find the actual rental car location. Until I found it. Dont take a chance. I rented a car through this website for my trip to California. The price was much lower than other websites so I was a bit skeptical at first but everything went fine. Once I arrived in LAX the rental company staff was really friendly and they even gave me the red mustang convertible I wanted :)

A complete and utter fraud of a company. Im fearful that I wont receive my car because I was never sent any confirmation email. And all of a sudden, my log-in info is failing. Amazing. I was able to navigate the international site before my log-in info stopped working, which gave me a pickup location at a company I use OFTEN. The associates know me and warned me to never use this company. Hours later and still no confirmation email. Fortunately I have screenshots of everything if they think theyre going to get over on me. They wont. And Im definitely reporting to the BBB, my cc company, and the local authorities for theft and fraud.

I would give it -5 stars of I could. Charged me full amount upfront. When I showed up at the airport and called for shuttle (my plane landed a little behind) they told me that they are closed and theres no-one to assist me with the car, leaving me stranded at the airport at 11 PM. I suppose theyve never heard of a flight delay before. They knew I was arriving too, because Ive called to confirm AM. Called their 800 line- nobody answers. Worst service ever. They just closed the office and left.

I hired a car on the 24/8/18 for my holiday to Orlando and was told payment would be taken on the 23/9/18. Money hasn’t come out until 27/09/18 and the hire of the car has been cancelled without my known but money has still been taken. Can’t get a hold of any the phone numbers and no response from emails. I have had to hire another car and still waiting on my money going back into my account. Worst service I have ever experienced. Not happy at all

I booked a car for 4 PM. I went specially to pick it up from the airport but I havent received any confirmation, just a phone call at 17:30 asking me if I still want the car. Afterwards I got an mail notifying me that my booking is cancelled. The next day, after I gave up, they sent me a voucher and charged my account for the whole amount. 10 days later no refund just promises that once they confirm that I didnt take the car they will refund me.Also good to know that the price is cheap cause when you rent the car you you get only the basic insurance from the rental company and not like they promise cause they use a 3rd company to insure you. Good luck filing a complain if something happens.....

After 2 weeks they still hold the credit amount despite I cancelled on the same day of booking (after I read the reviews) and received cancellation confirmation e mail with no cost .I called them many time and they said that they refunded the the whole amount they just keep giving false information, I called my card issuer and opened the dispute .I will never approach such company at all and will show my experience to all of my connections to avoid such scams.Really I am disappointed and think even one star is too much.

Their advetised price was shown to include a different location drop off yet when we arrived to collect the car we were then charge this as an extra fee which made the car hire double the cost. We called and complained at the time but they were just dismissive. ILL NEVER USE THIS CONPANY AGAIN!!

Hidden charge for washing car which was not made clear when booking. Tried to call several times while on holiday and email to find out if both inside needed washing before returning, no response. I was told on pick up to use the garage outside the airport to clean before returning which was closed when I dropped the car off so got charged an additional amount to clean the car. It makes using the comparison sites a waste of time when charges are hidden.

We had booked a rental car for our holiday in Rijeka, Croatia. Upon arrival, neither the car nor was anyone available. We had to pay a taxi and are still waiting for refund. Although we got a legit looking booking receipt, the phone number is not reachable and the AGB link in the Web page does not work. This company might be a scam and one should not take it if you rely on the car.

I would highly warn anyone NOT to use this company ever when renting a car. They leave out half of the price when you book your car then when you show up to pick it up the agency (e.g. enterprise, Avis, etc) will not let your rent the car without basic insurance which is usually double the price gorentalcars quoted you. Go to ANY other rental car place but do not waste your time with this company.

Worst company ever, it’s worth to pay twice the price than to have to go into what we had.Just arrived at the airport , with 6 kids, tired after a flight of 20 hours, to find at the Alamo counter that my reservation was canceled. It seems that we got a very popular car and due to the demand it got expensive, than they canceled my reservation. They sensed an email saying that they tried to charge my credit card and couldn’t do that( a flat lie since I have a very large limit on that card) also that tried to call me ( another lie, I reached my cel and there was no missed calls on that day).I travel a lot w my family and never bothered to chose any company to rent my car, since they all work w the same ones( Alamo, budget...) , and never had problems, that one is one for sure you shoul keep a distance, no matter how many dollar you th8nk you are saving, not worth the pain and the risk to pay last minute prices that are crazy.

***Worst Rental company ever***They had many hidden fees, were very insisting, and their service sucks. We asked an explanation of the fees, and they told us it was extra insurance... One of the worst customer service ever

In Europe, this company rents a car through the French BSP Auto. The credit account was charged twice for 309 euros, although I rented one car (and paid for two cars). After clarification, 190 euros were returned to me. Gentlemen, with what fright? Do you have many oak trees there? Which one did you collapse from? Is this such an honest taking of money? Or do you have dishonest accountants sitting?

Landlord has not appeared at the airport nor was he reachable by phone - on the voucher of Check24 was not even a phone number - we had to ask for trouble after waiting forever on the hotline. Handy of the landlord was simply turned off. This was confirmed by an employee of Check24. He finally suggested that we book a (of course much more expensive) rental car on site at the airport and secured us the replacement of the additional costs - I am still waiting for this after a long correspondence for 3 months. GotRentalCars wanted all kinds of documents - even a screenshot of the attempted contact !! As if I was too stupid to telephone ... absurd. Conclusion: NEVER AGAIN. HANDS OFF !!!

We had booked a rental car at Check24 at Palma Mallorca Airport PMI on October 29, 2018, 6:30 p.m. with premium protection.Nevertheless, we had to take out a new fully comprehensive insurance of 197.20 euros on site in Palma de Malloca when we picked up the car, otherwise we would not have received the car key.The InterRent counter was already closed upon arrival and we had to go into the house opposite where the rental cars are on the first floor.If the counter in the arrival hall had been open and we had been told we would not have a car key without extra insuranceimmediately went to another car rental company.Check24 was unable to get the rental company to pay us back the money they had stolen.Stay away from InteRent with GotRentalCars

Rented in Malaga via CHECK24.deHands off!!!!You just get a little bit cheered whether you already have all the insurance or not. You are not given any further information. After I pointed out several times that I had already booked all insurance policies online, an amount still appeared on my invoice. I assumed that it was just another invoice for something that had already been paid. I was told at the counter that only the deposit would be blocked. A few days later, however, the credit card was charged for exactly this amount. That is real insolence. Now Ive paid almost twice as much as originally agreed. CHECK24 is just cruel and not able to help or clarify anything, you get no help, although I have already pointed out that I have booked an exclusion of the deductible online, I will be charged again in Malaga at the airport. Youre pretty much alone there. Never book via CHECK24.de, its all very opaque.
