They were out of cars 🚘 when it was time for me to pick up my reservation so they was like we have something even better and to my surprise it was this beauty that I had been eyeing to buy but had never driven one before! It drove sooo good 👍🏾 I didn’t want to return it! Hands down I like this location they are friendly and offers the best customer service 🤗🤗

I must say Sunday 3-14-2021 was my first time that I rented from Budget Car Rental! AJ was the guy that helped me on Sunday morning and he was absolutely amazing! I returned the vehicle on Monday 3-15-2021 and Javier assisted me with my check in process and he was very nice and friendly! If you’re in need of a rental I definitely recommend Budget Car Rental! If you’re in the Clermont, Florida area check them out! Don’t forget you will have to pay a deposit that will be returned back to you at the time that you bring the rental back! But it’s a very easy and simple process! AJ and Javier will get in and out in a matter of minutes! Literally minutes! Oh another plus that I want to inform my readers about is Budget is the only rental car place that I find that rent on Sundays! That’s a plus in my opinion!

This has always been a great location. Quick in and out and the cars have always been awesome, the staff friendly and the value has been great. I have noticed a large increase n the rate of rentals in the past couple of months, but that has been the case with everyone!

Reserved a Cargo Van for a 1 way trip...which is hard to find!! Received a Call from them saying Cargo Van unavailable but would upgrade to a 12ft truck no additional fees. AJ was excellent and appreciate his help. The 1 way trip wound up being a bust and the truck was returned on time to place of origin. I had contacted Budget on Sunday at their 800# as this Clermont location was closed. They were very helpful and noted the rental was being returned to originating location. Truck drove well .. will use them again for next trip with a hopefully better outcome. But Thank You AJ for your help & understanding!!

Rented a mid sized vehicle but asked for a economy vehicle, rented it for a week.. their mid sized vehicle started to vibrate very bad between 60mph - 65mph.. stopped by budget to explain what is happening, two days later, and to hopefully get into a better riding vehicle, but nothing.. so was in the same vehicle for one full week, not knowing if this vehicle is actually safe.. brought it back after seven days.. and they gave me a $12 discount.. and they said it was all they could do for me.. Never Again!!!!!

Very dissatisfied, we were double-billed and the clerk in this location says there is nothing he can do about it when I called budget directly they also dont know what to say or what to do which doesnt make sense the car was brought back in perfect condition I asked if there was something maybe they were taking the money for they said no either way a one-week car rental ended up costing me over $800 and I did not get any deposit back I am filing a report with BBB and contacting my attorney

The employee was nice and explained everything except stopping at agriculture checkpoints, we got pulled over by police. The truck was well used and had over 100000 miles on it. Well it broke down and we had to wait for the mechanic. Good thing we got the extra insurance. Then the mechanic couldnt fix it and we waited for the tow truck. He towed us to the hotel and since it was late after midnite now the exchange for the new truck had to be done later that day. They didnt come till after noon with the new truck and we ended up staying another day at the hotel. They did send help to unload and load. It took 3 hours still. Not happy about the old truck when the trip was across several states.Budget refunded the rental charge. I appreciated that. But wont be using them again.

All of the guys and girls there at the Claremont location AR amazing! They say time to listen to what your needs are and especially the Excellence we got from AJ!!! We made the mistake of believing this business after agreeing to do a weekly rental at what they called a “great deal/price” for renting their vehicle at the price of $349.00 for the week, but only after being assured by Budget Rental that if my “own vehicle was fixed before the week was up, & returned their vehicle early, we would be discounted/refunded the amount appropriate for the # of days it was returned early”. This was the ONLY REASON WE AGREED TO THE WEEKLY RENTAL. So, on FRIDAY, when my personal vehicle was done, we attempted to return their vehicle (sports car-extra) , which wasn’t due until Tuesday of the following week... Only to be told- by a different employee on duty from the one we rented from- that we would basically be receiving roughly “a few bucks/next to nothing” in return - even though it was being returned 4.5 DAYS EARLY!!! Even after explaining to the guy the agreement that the person who rented it had made with us, all he could respond back with was him shaking his head NO, and saying “We DONT DO THAT”. So, obviously, we just kept the vehicle, although not needing it, to assure they don’t make more money off of the lies told in the verbal contract they made with us. It’s a shame, as we were going to need to rent again about a week from now for 3 weeks, but they WONT BE GETTING THE BUSINESS FROM ME, OR FROM ANY OF MY FRIENDS OR FROM ANYONE IN MY FAMILY!! THATS THE COST OF DOING BAD BUSINESS. I guess they will be taking the loss in this one!!

Great for cars but the worse for moving trucks. Stay away. Rented two trucks...only one was here. Had to drive an hr away to get the second one. Agent was not nice and kinda rude. Said he couldn’t guarantee location. Wow!!Stay away for trucks. The second truck was horrible!! Engine light was on. Trailer was broken and brakes froze up and caught fire on interstate. Budget corporate did good but the local stores are a mess.Stay away unless you are just renting a car!!

The guy with (Arab accent) at the front desk is very rude and nonchalant about not have the vehicle ready for the time slot they prescribed. When I expressed my displeasure with his tone and attitude he offered to have me escorted of the property and threaten to cancel the reservation . Stay away from this unprofessional business !! I personally won’t be doing business in the future with establishment.

A dozen or so vehicles sitting on the lot but we were told they had nothing to rent. Guess we motorcycle riders arent welcomed there. Not all of us riders are in a gang. Most of us riders are responsible hard working people

We returned a moving truck to this location within the correct time frame. They were closed. We had to pick up our kids so we parked the truck in a parking space with all of the other Budget trucks and placed the key in the glove box. This morning I checked my bank account to find a second charge from Budget of $449! We called and the workers were incredibly rude and refused to refund the illegal transaction. I will NEVER rent from Budget again. They are thieves and liars. I have a contract for $172 not $620. I also have pictures to prove their lies! Not to mention that the truck had no brakes and during the afternoon rain, water leaked all over our stuff including one of my kids beds, my bed, and several boxes filled with collectibles, not the sentimental kind but the expensive collectible kind. The truck was poorly maintained and difficult to drive. Use another company and save yourself a lot of trouble. Stay far away!!!!

My daughter rented a 16 truck to move back home, which is roughly 1,000 miles away. The truck had a leak above the drivers seat. Since I drove, every time it rained, water dripped onto my head and down to my back. I drove with a wet head and back for 4 hours. When my daughter called up, she was told there was nothing they could do. Additionally, the wheel alignment was terrible. This wouldnt be a big deal if it was a short drive, but on a 1,000 mile drive, having to hold the steering wheel down to the left about 15-20 degrees on what was mostly a straight drive on I-95 was a lot more tiring than youd think. We spoke to the Budget return location, and they also told us there was nothing they could do. This is why I usually stick with Enterprise and U-Haul.

Have only used twice..will use again. You should always call & make a reservation or you may not get a car. Price I feel are a bit high, but so far no problem. And yes do take pictures of your car when you pick it up & when you return it.

We rented a Ford F150 for eight days from this Budget location. The Vehicle was ready to go when we arrived and the staff was Wonderful. The only hold up was the client in front of us was renting a moving truck and we had to wait behind him while he called his insurance company for verification of coverage this took a while and I think the clerk should of taken us as we had everything needed. When we returned the vehicle the air was out at this location and the clerks where still smiling and in a great mood. We will rent and recommend Budget and this location to anyone needing a rental!!

This used to be our go-to place for weekend rentals but the prices are just absurd now. Havent used them in a year but I still like to check their pricing and give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe its a phase but no. Prices are still doubled and no coupons anymore.

We had a mini van reserved for May 26, 2017. I showed up to pick my van up and it was not there. They said the van was coming from Orlando International and they hadnt showed up, but he would call to find out. They never called back. I had to call them. We had to rent a Tahoe from another rental company because Budget over booked and over sold all of their vehicles. The cost was $400 more than we reserved at Budget. I guess you get what you pay for, right? I never received one apology from anyone at Budget. I realize it isnt the persons fault at the location at Clermont. But, not one apology from him either.

Had a great experience. Best price for one way car rental. No charge for an upgrade with Satellite radio.

Recently picked up a car at this location. While looking things over an employee approached to see if all was ok...he was very polite and before I pulled away noticed a dent that was not noted on the form I needed to sign... I had missed it when inspecting it. He immediately made a note of it ,and informed the person inside! This same man was there (wish I remembered his name) but he an older man and wore a hat...anyway he was there when we brought the car back and was very friendly once again! So appreciative of a business that has a high standard, regarding their employees!!!

This was our drop off location for a one way from Ft. Lauderdale. The staff was friendly and prompt to get us on our way to continue our vacation.The office was a little challenging to find though, we did more than one u-turn trying to find it. The office is in a strip shopping center in the FAR corner, far from the road and not in view from the main street. That was our only challenge here.....all and all not a big deal.

CRIMINALS! My sunpass was left in the rental. I called the store and told them to get rid of it as I was unable to return to pick it up. They assured me they would. What they did instead was use it every day multiple times ringing up a nice bill before we were able to get it stopped. We tried calling budget and sunpass and neither were any help. Each blaming each other. So I would advise you to use a more trustworthy rental company and stay far away from these crooks!

Great. We come at clermont and we came to return a Nissan Pathfinder. Guess what? We see that the place is closed and we get into an arguement. Worse part is, my family were planning to have a great time. Whoever is picking up the goddamn phone is stupid to say that we have to pay a fee of 300 dollars! Yeah, maybe we got a little late but you shouldnt treat your customers like that! If youre gonna rent a car, Id recommend that you plan and organize where and which place youre gonna rent a car. Obviously Budget doesnt know how to treat their customers the right way.

This place is okay and the people are generally nice, but last time we rented here we had a one-hour wait. This time when we did a one-way rental, and returned the car we were told that because we drove it under 75 miles and did not have a receipt they automatically will charge $13.99 to your rental. BEWARE consumer. Budgets response to this above average consumer was to read the contract. REALLY? Are you kidding me?!!! The guy when we returned it didnt even ask us for a gas receipt. Bottom line- bring your receipt if you drive less than 75 miles on your odometer because the budget reps will not and they will stick you with the $14 fuel charge even IF You did fill it up yourself. RIDICULOUS!! Just be careful when renting from Budget - you really do get what you pay for.

Do not rent from this place!!! I had the displeasure of having to deal with a worker named Beverley who was very rude to not only me but my wife who was returning the keys. She does not know how to do her job at all. When i showed up to pick up my rental truck she lied and said it was not available even though i booked online with a credit card. It was not until another more well educated employee stepped in and took care of me and said it was in stock. She made it a point to look over his shoulder and try his her hardest to make the rental not happen. I will never rent from this place or budget in general ever again. I use hertz for business and will be using them going forward for any personal needs i may have.

Run Away!! I am writing this review sitting on the side of the road in 105 degree weather with a small child and broke down truck due to no BRAKES??!!from this location.When we arrived the trucks ramp was stuck and told we couldnt have the truck we reserved due to the ramp being broke ( due to no time and no locally available trucks) we then tried our selves to remove it in the parking and was successful and the three of us covered in grease. The manager there then threw in a free dolly and pads :/I had a gut feeling that we should have went to uhaul and other reliable companies but decided to go ahead again were moving no time!No were sitting on the side of the road in the heat and the brakes went out in the truck?! No service was done to find out and I never received any contract or even signed for the truck ( found out I should have had a contract from customer service)After reaching customer service the ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE was to call us with an arrival time it was, it has been 1hour and half and no call.Finally my wife reached a dispatcher which told us their customer service was not good and gives people the run around due to the individual vendors etc...I called the Budget in Clermont FL where we rented the truck and spoke to FRANK and he said and I quote, yeah the customer service isnt good and that was the help so far we have received.This was my first and last experience I will ever have with Budget and as of now still sitting on a dangerous highway waiting for that magical phone call of when they might show up? NEVER AGAIN AND BEWARE!

Very poor experience, they charged our card an additional $200 THAT WAS NEVER DISCUSSED PRIOR, when my husband arrived at the airport the date they entered was June 1, so they tried charging him over $1000...This took up a lot of his time, customer service was willing to do NOTHING....NEVER again will we use this company.
