Overpriced had gottena good deal on jeans and wanted them hemed they said sure it would be cheap but $70 later is not cheap the only good thing is they are nice

Sue is amazing! I’ve gone to her for many different things including formal wear, casual wear. She’s even worked on a bathing suit and lingerie for me. Very detail oriented, and great at getting your pieces back to you in a timely manner!

Started using Sues about a year ago, and she is absolutley the best. I have taken many of my clothes there and everything is perfect the first time. I also have to say that I am a perfectionist. She is the only person I would let alter my clothes.

Sue and the other woman(sorry can’t remember her name) saved my wedding dress!! Another place messed up my dress and took it in too far :( so my mother-in- law told me about Sue so we quickly brought my dress there and luckily they were able to save it! I brought a bridesmaid dress here to have altered for a wedding far away. I needed it within days and there was A LOT of work to be done. She not only made the dress look perfect, but also occupied my 9 month old while I tried it on. The price was fair (especially considering the scope of work and time constraint), but I would have gladly have paid more for the sort of old-school customer service important to the two women who work at Sues. You seldom find that in large towns.

I first went to Sues Alterations to have a few outfits altered that I was going to wear over my wedding weekend. Everything came out exactly how I wanted them to and the price was very reasonable. My whole family uses them now for alterations. I am a very petite person, so I am always in need of hemming and she does great! I would highly recommend this business.

I lose some weight and needed some seams taken in on my athletic-style fabric work uniforms. The ladies did an awesome job and the price was great! Highly recommend!

Sue is a wonderful little lady. I needed to get my suit pants hemmed for a graduation banquet in less than a week, but something happened. My mom forgot to go pick up my pants while they were open, and on the Sunday that they were closed, Sue called my mom and asked her if she could pick up my pants! She went out of her way to make sure I had my pants, when they were closed! Appreciate it Sue. By the way, the hours on google I dont believe are correct. She said she had no idea what Google was. Shes a kind nice lady and Id reccomend her to anyone.

Great customer service. Didnt pick up my dress yet, but they called me and told me it would be $42.00. It was just to take the length off the bottom of the dress, because it was too long on me. Nice employees, but too EXPENSIVE! :-/

I have gone to her for over a year now, and shes awesome. Just tell her specifically how you want it to be altered, and she gets it done quickly and professionally. Ive had multiple pants altered! 5 stars. :)

I wish I could give this company a negative star. I needed a bridesmaids dress altered, and Ill admit, it was a mess. I went in and they were rushing to pin it and get it set. They pinned the dress and it looked absolutely nothing like it was suppose to look. So, I asked if we could maybe try a different way and she said she couldnt do it, but then the other lady there said maybe we can do this. So, they worked with it for maybe another 5 min, said that was all they could do and I said ok. So, I left and the bride said go back, they should be able to tweak it a little bit differently. So, I did. I went back and asked if we could redo the dress a different way, they said ok, grabbed my dress, handed it to me and told me good luck finding a place that could fix it!!!! And told me there was absolutely nothing they could do for me. I was so shocked, I said are you sending me away and they said yes, but good luck. I seriously sat in my car and cried. The three ladys in there were so condescending. Thankfully, one of the other bridesmaids found a sweet lady that was able to work magic at such an affordable price at a place called Causeway Alterations in Dunedin. THANK GOD. She saved the day and I highly recommend her.If you need something simple that doesnt take much talent and you dont mind being offended or sent packing if your alteration is too complicated, then by all means use Sues Alterations.

When you need it done cause what you like is either in to big or to small ,get it altered

Brought in a new pair of pants to have the hem done to my length. She pinned the pants at the correct length and said it would be $15.00. Today, my wife picked them up and was told it would be $30.00 because she took the waist in too. When my wife asked about the waist, she said she took it in 3/4 of an inch where she pinned it. I specifically told her the waist was fine where it was when I originally brought them in. I have not tried them on but I will when I get home.I guess that is how you upsell a customer.2 stars is due to the addition of services that were specifically declined.

Used Sue for all alterations, repair, and hemming of new slacks. Nothing but positives!
