Went with my sister for her wedding dress and must I say, the work and quality was amazing. Truly impressed by the time as well since it was quite a last minute alteration but a very important one at that. The prices were beyond fair and reasonable. Amazing work! I was nervous about how my dress would be altered being that it was 4 sizes too big, has lots of lace, was ripped, and has lots of little details. However, Eugenia did an incredible job altering it. I’m so happy with how it came out. It’s literally perfect! I can’t brag enough about how great her work is! I’ll be in another wedding soon after my wedding, and will be going back to her for my bridesmaid dress alteration too. Would definitely recommend.

What an amazing experience I had. From the start to the follow through. I am super excited. My dress was 4 sizes too big. Eugenia herself customized a beautiful veil to match my dress, a mask and 2 garder belts. The presentation of the shop is super inviting and super nice. She can customize anything. She is now making a crown for my 4 year old. I give 10 stars. The last thing you want is something else to stress about, your dress!!!!! Must must go too. You will not be disappointed

After having my first wedding gown completely ruined by another seamstress, I had to buy another one. I purchased a dress that needed very slight alterations and was referred to Eugenia. Hesitant, I took the dress in to her. She was wonderful during the consultation. She communicated everything perfectly and her shop is beautiful and cozy. After only one week, my dress was ready. Due to the last experience I had somewhere else, and with my wedding only 3 weeks away, I was hoping and praying my dress would fit how I imagined it. As soon as I walked in, she had my dress hanging up, ready for me to try it on. It is PERFECT! Thank you Eugenia for relieving all the stress that comes with a wedding gown! The only negative is the payment. She only accepts cash or check and I don’t ever have either. Lol She had a sign but I didn’t see it so I had to leave to get cash. I’d still give 10 stars if I could. I have already referred a few friends to her and will be back with other items needing to be altered!

Very cute shop! I took my wedding dress to get altered at Eugenias and was very happy with the results. My mother and grandma got alterations made for their dresses as well and were thrilled with the results. She does amazing work and is very talented. She knows so much about the business and industry that I could trust her completely with my dress! A lot of work had to be done on it and she got the job done! I will definitely recommend this place to any of my friends getting married.

Eugenia is a LIFE SAVER! She is truly a professional at what she does. I originally took my dress to another alteration business in Tampa before I knew about Eugenia. It was disaster. They hemmed it at the wrong length, made excuses to not alter it to fit my body (I’m assuming it was because she was in over her head), made me drive to Joanne fabrics to find a piece to work with my dress, just a terrible experience. Finally enough was enough and I paid her for the work she did and left with my wedding dress. I only had 2 weeks left until my wedding day - being stressed was an understatement. Eugenia made my wedding dress absolutely BEAUTIFUL! She is a true professional. I had only two weeks left until my wedding and she altered the dress to be more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She was a calming presence and reassured me everything would be perfect. Fantastic alterations for my bridesmaid dress! I made an appointment and walked into an open, spacious shop that was very clean and inviting. The owner was so pleasant and kind and we had a brief consultation prior to me putting on my bridesmaid dress. When I tried on the dress we knew it needed to be hemmed but I wanted to see what I would look like taken in and a little tighter in the waist. She pinned it for me so I could see what it would look like and I’m so glad she did because I didn’t like it. She gave me her professional opinion which comes with many many years of experience to leave the dress as is and when I came back for my next fitting if I didn’t like it we could change it. She was right, it was perfect as is. She is very flexible and will do anything to make sure the customer is happy! I came back for my fitting and the hem was beautiful but I needed it a bit shorter due to my shoe choice. She said no problem and had it turned around over a holiday weekend in 3 days. That is service! I have many more formal gowns that need altering and I will bring them here as the quality and service is amazing. She also does bridal gowns, pants, suits and more. Just give her a call.This is cash or check only. Parking is ample. Bring your shoes and undergarments with you if trying on a gown and have your hair either up or down as you would the day of as I think it’s makes a difference. Eugenia will take care of the rest!

My wedding dress was PERFECT, thanks to Eugenia! She was very precise and spent a lot of time on my dress. Every time I would go in for a fitting, she would adjust something to make sure it fit me perfectly. My older sister had her wedding dress altered with Eugenia a few years ago and both my sisters had their bridesmaid dresses altered for my wedding. I’m so grateful for all that she did. I wanted to have something created for my daughter who is getting married this summer. I thought using material from my wedding dress would be unique and special. What Eugenia was able to make was beyond my wildest expectations. She made a ring bearers pillow, 2 garters (one to throw and one to keep) and a beautiful ribbon to go on the flower girls basket. All was done entirely with material from my dress! Her workmanship is exquisite and I would recommend Eugenia highly.

Brides beware. I went for a consultation there. She barely spoke to me, pinned my dress so I couldnt lift my arms and told me that was just how the dress was made, spent maybe 45 minutes with me. She didnt tell me how much for the alterations until I specifically asked. She wanted $400 for barely any alterations. I left my dress with her bc I was on complete shock and didnt know any better.Called later and told her I couldnt afford the $400 and wanted to pick up my dress. She was angry and wanted to be paid for the consultation time. I told her I was willing to pay her a reasonable amount for her time. She told me she wanted $120. I told her that was not reasonable for the amount of time or for what she did. I gave her $50, got my dress back and whether elsewhere. The other place I took it to find everything for $125 and I could lift my arms in my wedding dress.

Worst experience ever. Would give negative stars if possible. Same experience as last review as no discussion of inflated price until after fitting. I had met the lady twice on two separate occasions as she had came to the bridal shop in plaza to quote alterations on two similar dresses. She quoted same type of alterations for $200-$300. Scheduled appointment and arrived early to have her cut the sleeve off my dress within minutes and no warning and then tell me that what I wanted done would not work. I suggested another option in which she stated would work then pinned me up, poked me with several needles in which I had to ask for a band aid to not bleed on my dress. After cutting the sleeve I stated I was willing to make adjustments if she could suggest other options as this was her “specialty” in which she was very rude and assured me the cutting of the sleeve was not a big deal and she had been in business 20 years. I then asked about the hem and she stated it would be done at a later date and shewed me to the front. When making appointment for 20 days prior to my wedding for 2nd fitting she stated “just so you know, it’s going to cost $500.” I was appalled. I asked why it would be so much higher then previously quoted and asked her to show breakdown of cost in which she would not. I told her to return my dress and let her know if any issues arrise with the sleeve she cut I would be filling a claim. This business is a fraud. I do believe she cut the sleeve bc most brides would probably just let her continue once touched especially if on a time crunch. Brides beware! She is an extortionist! This was not an enjoyable experience nor would I recommend this business to anyone.
