Used to be good. New management and new staff no longer do a great job. Every time I wash my car there I still need to go home and clean the inside and spot clean the outside. I even asked the guy to fix a few things and he didn’t.

I went down around 2 pm and they got me right in. I asked for the #4, it cost me a little over $40 but got everything especially the floor mats (which were really important to me). They did a good job on the inside, it was clean and wiped down. The outside had some spots that could have been done better.The inside waiting room was clean and beautiful. The couch was comfy and I enjoyed just sitting in there waiting. You can see your car come out the wash and the employees cleaning it.Just be patient and you will enjoy your experience. The average time for a #4 is about 1.5 hrs.

This is the best car wash that I have found in the Clearwater area. It is definitely a step above the typical drive yourself thru’s car washes popping up around town. They have multiple levels of service and enough staff to get you in and out in a reasonable amount of time.I’ve never had any damage done to my car while in their care. They have a good system of teamwork that has worked for years. They are thorough in the detailing inside and out. And if you have a question or concern about the service you received they are more than happy to address the issue right then and make it right.Comfortable waiting room with a tv and couches, some car accessories, and other nick nacks to purchase if interested.They also offer discount packages to purchase in advance if you want to save some money.I would definitely recommend them.

This is an incredible car wash! The employees take pride in their work and are very well organized! Not cheap, but the quality of the service and the thorough cleaning was beyond an impressive value!

By far the BEST car wash in town. Not only are the people who work there so nice, but they do amazing work! I really enjoy coming to Sunshine. They do a very good job and their waiting area is comfortable. They do a fantastic job with vacuuming the interior! I do wish they would stop raising their prices. The basic wash used to be $14 and now its $18. They also charged me $5 to remove some bug splatters off my front window (never had this cost extra anywhere else before). But other than that, I really do love the service.

The lady by the name of Alabama needs a pay raise. She does an excellent job and always makes me feel welcome,however I never seem to get my car fully clean. They always miss spots when vacuuming and my dash and doors arent properly wiped down. I paid $45 for a the same job I would of gotten if I would of paid for the cheapest wash.The only reason I keep going back to be honest is because of Alabama and because its conveniently located close to home.I think after this last time tho I wont be getting washed there no more. Ill save my money and wash It myself

Its a great place to get your car back as new however they dont sell snacks or drinks as youre waiting. They give you free water and I was thrilled

Great service! Car was thoroughly cleaned and the windows were perfectly spotless. I don’t have the adequate words to describe Alabama - she is an amazing asset to your company! She greeted me warmly, asked about my day, I let her know that I was bringing in my grandma’s car to get ready to sell since my grandma is heaven bound 🥺 Alabama gave me a much needed hug and did not rush me at all. Give this woman a raise!! She is such a bright light to be around 🌟

Lackluster at best. If it were cheaper Id give four stars, but if Im paying nearly $50 for their supposed best package (only one is more expensive and thats if you have leather) then I dont expect to need to go back over stuff when I get home. Streaks on the windows, streaks on the dash, plus some spots missed. Doubtful I return.

I used to love going here.... but the last couple times, my trunk was not vacuumed out and I pay a lot of money every month to get my car cleaned, stayed loyal and never went anywhere else. I asked the lady at the end if they vacuumed the trunk and she said no because I did not pay extra.... how did I not pay? I paid 50 dollars for a car wash and detail and they can’t vacuum a little sand out of my trunk? I will never be going here again.......

The wait is usually long, but always with it. I dont have to worry about them knowing how to handle my Tesla - they know it needs attended through the wash and how it works. The only reason I knocked off a star is I almost always have to redo the cleaning of the inside of my windows, everything else they do great.

Greedy people. Do not recommend anymore. Used to do better job while ago. Employees do not even care and management do not step up to protect the customers.

Waited almost an hour while they didn’t work. Some cars had teams of 3-4 people working on them while a handful of others and mine had only one employee working. Went in and asked whey this is and was assured that doesn’t happen. I asked her to go look for herself she declined. Poor service won’t be back.Update!!! Found the “manager” and told her it had been over an hour. She yelled right, rolled her eyes and walked away!If you have an hour and 15 minutes for a car wash I highly recommend.

While other washes in town are in and out, people are willing to wait in line at Sunshine. Just came from there, usual excellect job. Was shocked to find a $20 bill in the drink holder. One of the crew could have easily pocketed it when found. Chris VS, Clearwater

This car wash has always done a great job on my car..very thorough..now they offer exterior only for $9.99 which gets you done much faster.

Paid 35.00 for a vacuum and car wash . The dash was spotty and there was large sticky stuff all over the passengers side door and windshield. They didnt vacuum the trunk and it there were water spots all over the car.

Overall unhappy with the service that I received as well as one of the detailing staffs attitude. I paid $55 for what I believe was the top or second to top service. Id give the service to my vehicle a C at best. It passes, but not by much, they missed obvious stains on the steering wheel that I was able to get off with a napkin and some water. They missed dirt on the rims and the mirrors on the sun visor. Also, it just seems like their towels left a lot of fabric behind. Lastly, there was an older female that I didnt personally interact with, but she would aggressively boss the other employees and had a very toxic energy. She would walk through the waiting room and mumble negative comments under her breath. Not recommended for you to bring your car here.

I have been supporting this business for long before the new owners took over about a year ago. The service then was always very good, but the new owners took this business to another level of excellence. I am not easily pleased when it comes to my car, and they have never disappointed. The owners are always present, kind, helpful and the staff always treat me very kindly. I can recommend them without any hesitation.UPDATE: Fast forward to 2021. Over the last visits, I could see how thecleaners are missing spots, not cleaning properly, just going through the motions etc. Plastic carpets were put in wrong places and upside down. Sand in trunk not cleaned. Candy wrapping paper in rear passenger seat area not removed. Vehicle not cleaned satisfactory. I don’t feel like complaining every time. If attention to detail is important to you, you may want to try another car wash that is not just a sausage machine. Sorry, but I am removing 2 stars.

When I drove in here there was one car getting dried. And I drove straight in to be 1st in line. The attendant asked me what I wanted. She talked me into a service one higher than I wanted. I asked her how long it would take, an hour? She said less! So I ordered it. As I waited for my car I realized it got very busy. It has been a 1 HOUR AND 35 MINUTE wait so far and they just started working on my car a few minutes ago. I mentioned this to the guy at the desk and he had NOTHING to say!! Not even an Im sorry. This used to be the best car wash around. Not any more. This is the 2nd time in a row I am unhappy with this place. I will be looking for a new best car wash. Sad.

Employees do not go here if you leave something in the car they steal you and the owner of this establishment is not responsible for the actions of the shares in his establishment. A relative took the car and they overflowed a property, a property valued at more than $ 400 dollars and he did not want to take care of this, he showed the camera nothing about where the car is outside but when the car is inside he did not want to show him the cameras why He knows that in his place they steal.

I certainly miss living in Chicago where services like these cost half as much. But for 50 bucks they do an okay job inside and out. My only issue is that they usually miss something, and that shouldnt be the case. Be sure to check the center console and your gear shift because these are usually places that they miss cleaning. Also be sure to check you wheel wells, as that is another place they tend to skip. Expect to be there at least an hour.

Best car wash in the area! Their staff are friendly, well-trained, and do an excellent job at all the services this car wash provides. The prices are very reasonable too. They also do a great job with all your auto detailing and interior cloth seat needs. My family and I wont use any other car wash except for this one. Highly recommend!

Was a great place a few years ago with great service and reasonable prices. I would drive up from St. Petersburg to have them wash my car. Now has different owners. Nobody seems to check the work of the staff and the attention to detail is now gone. They gave the place a makeover in the lobby and then raised the prices. Use to be able to get it done for 20 bucks, now its about 30 bucks. Should have left the lobby alone and kept prices lower. Now I see no reason to go out of my way and pass other car washes to come here.

What a horrible car wash, at first they tried to charge us for wax on the car when we asked for just a basic wash with also the undercarriage. Turns out their undercarriage wash was not even working anyway. After a long wait to get through we get out and none of the bugs were even off of our windshield. Additionally, they charged us another dollar in the end for some reason, I can only assume because the man barely sprayed underneath the car when we were annoyed there was no undercarriage. We had just gotten here from NJ and wanted to clean off all of the salt after the abundance of snow. It was the only reason we even wanted a carwash. This is a place with terrible service and mediocre washes.

This was the best car wash place until the new owners took over! They don’t care about quality of work or the customer whatsoever! The quality of the washes are extremely sub par compared to when the old owners ran things!The old owners were so accommodating and never nickel and dimed you for “extra” services. But now, even to get your dash just wiped down is an “extra” charge and service! This will be my last time coming to this place! All because of the new owners and how they’re running the place into the ground. There used to be a line to the street of people getting their cars washed all day and cars waiting in line before they opened....not anymore. Now you can pull up and only wait behind 1 or 2 cars max! That says something to me!I would have given it zero stars if I could! That’s how disappointed I am that this staple of Clearwater that has been here for years is now this way under the new ownership and management.

Since you admitted it.On January 27, I took my car to have a Detailing done, I left a bag inside the car with my belongings and a pair of Prada glasses was lost, I do not recommend this place since they do not assure the belongings.

Update to previous review. The quality is definitely heading in the wrong direction. I had to clean my car myself when I got home. Definitely not the car wash of four years ago. I could have called and had them wash the car again but I didnt feel like spending 2 more hours at the car wash.

I notice everyone is mentioning BAMA, Bama is a good worker but there are other employees there that do not get the recognition they deserve.

I come to Florida 3 times a year and get my car done. They do excellent work and I look forward to having them do my car, they havent done me wrong in 30+ years.

Friday was my first time bringing my car here. After driving on the highway, there were quite a few bug ornaments that I was afraid were not going to come off. Initially, I used a drive-thru car wash. This did not do the job. The staff here are friendly and WOW! did they do an AMAZING job on my car. I drove away as if I was driving off the car lot for the very first time. Everything was cleaned, polished, and shined. You could see the sunlight twinkle in all the chrome places. They have an assortment of air fresheners to choose from as well. Needless to say, I am Very pleased.

Alabama is amazing!!! She always has a smile on her face and takes care of me!! 5 star service and great value!! Having a all black grand cherokee is hard to keep clean but they always makes her shine!!! Love this place and Alabama for always making me feel welcome!!!

Very good car wash but usually pretty busy

A family friend recommended this car wash to us on our recent trip to Florida. After a week of many days at the beach, we wanted to get a car washed and a vacuumed before we headed out of town. We had pulled in to the car wash 10 minutes before they were closing. They had decided to close early that day because of bad weather approaching, but a few workers were still there. A very nice woman named Alabama offered to vacuum our car even though their machines were off. Once she started one of the owners came out to help her. They both did an amazing job. They apologized for closing early, and would not accept payment. They were very generous with their time and they did a great job. I highly recommend them, and be sure to ask for Alabama.

This place is managed terribly. After spending hours waiting for my car and finally getting home, I realized they had damaged it. Frustrated, I returned to this carwash only to be assaulted by a staff member and my friend was stuck by another customer. Management refused to provide the police with the security footage and lied about the entire event. CORRUPT!

Not a very thorough job for the price paid, and waited 45 min. No bathrooms and was complete chaos with no sitting room. Very poor exit strategy onto Gulf to Bay with several cars trying to exit at the same time. I would say, if you visit try to find a time of day that they can focus more on your car. It was an assembly of chaos.

Wow the petite employee with the hat brim that goes for miles was assigned to do all the details on my car today.It was a tough job, Ill be honest. But she put in the time and effort to make my car cleaner than it has any right being. She even got out that green protein-kale-shake stain that I thought had long ago merged with the fabric. Incredible. Expectations exceeded.

The best car wash I have ever gotten in my life anywhere in the U. S. Definitely not the fastest, but these people are thorough and detailed. And at only $14, beyond an excellent value!

They do a really nice job, but dont be in a hurry. They hand wipe/dry inside and out, so plan on being there 25 minutes.

They do a good job. You do need to check the work though. They missed vacuuming the back of my vehicle. When I asked the manager (I think shes the manager at the vehicle check in) she checked it and had them bring my vehicle back to her to personally take care of it. Major kudos to her!

They clean your car very good, even vacuum the carpets and your car looks like new.

I called and was told to come in on Monday to hand wax and clay bar my car. I stopped in at 10am to drop the car off and was told they couldnt wax my car because the person who performs this task didnt show up for work. very unprofessional

If you dont want to vacuum, they take care of it. Theres a lot of options to clean inside and the exterior wash. Now they have the option for just exterior, you dont have to leave your car. I really like this place.

My Mother todo the car to do detailing and she got a tremendous suprise when she got home she realized than sometieron $400 had been stolen and the owner did not respond for that. Step tremendous humiliaton by the owner of the premises. Takeshi care of your belongings when you go wash your car that dos not cost you triple.

Ive been coming here for about seven years now, and now this is where I always go for a good detail job, and they consistently do a great job.They recently remodeled the interior office. Now its very spacious and welcoming. There are plenty of places to sit and wait.

One of the slowest car wash I experienced in my life. They have a process that make you shake you head. Wait for 1/2 an hour in line with one car ahead for you to do Interrior vacuum. I came here with my local friend to wash his car, and we decided this is last time to come here.The manager need to review their process.As Marcus Lemonis from the CNBC the profit show say for any successful business you must have 3 P ( products, process and people). These guys have product customers want, but their process is bad and may be some of their ppl need to be educated on how to preform better.
