I took my F-150 to two other repair shops before bringing it to Calibey. One wanted to charge $1500, the other $800. I spent the $800 and the check engine light was still not fixed. Brought it to Josh, he took the time to explain and even show me what was going on. I’m upset that I didn’t bring the truck to him sooner. He sent me pics and screen shots of error codes from the scanner and gave it to me straight. I went ahead with the purchase and asked Josh to perform maintenance on the vehicle because I dont have a diesel mechanic in California. He even gave me his recommendations for a future maintenance schedule. He cares, is passionate, and goes above and beyond. Anyone is lucky to have found him. My best friend is a dealership mechanic and has told me horror stories about the stuff some mechanics do to cars. Some cars are never the same after the wrong mechanic gets a hold of them.

Just finished my 3rd Oil change, had brakes job, and fixed long standing KIA Soul issue with my power for cig lighter not working. Dealer had quoted me over $200 to fix it and he found out it was a simple fuse. Minor charge. I like his appointment scheduling. It means when I show up my car is worked on. He is very honest and helped me with some decisions on my car. If you are looking for an honest person, this is the place to go. Highly recommend. Josh is an honest and knowledgable guy. Both the AAA guy and I were convinced I needed a new starter, because the radio worked but car would not start and only clicked once. But Josh ran some diagnostics and told me we just needed a new battery. Other places probably would have charged me for both new battery and new starter. He ordered battery and had it replaced in no time, and even gave us a discount. Even wiped the grease spot off the car door that the AAA guys left behind. Excellent service.

My brake booster went out so I was tired of playing the try to stop before you smash into someones car game. Called the dealership and had them look at it.
