I have been a life-long HR Block client, every year Im greeted with a wonderful, kind and knowledgeable team at my local branch. My tax representative this year was Darlene Crabtree, was INCREDIBLY helpful and a great teacher. This was my first year filing as 1099 and she ensured that I was informed of what I could write off, how taxes work under a 1099 code, and was exceptionally detailed to carefully examine my documents/numbers to make sure it was all accounted for. Im so very thankful for the service and education I received. She truly helped take the intimidation out of filing self employed taxes. Thank you to Darlene and HR Block for everything!!!

Ease of filing.

Attempted to use drop off service at this office. I was told that their office did not offer the promotions that the national franchise was offering and it would cost me twice the amount I paid last year to have my taxes filed by their office. Being in the financial field it was clear to me that the problem was their lack of willingness/know how rather than anything else that caused them not to take on the work. To add insult to injury when I got home the W2 forms that were included in the packet for my wife and I were missing. Dont usually post bad reviews about companies, but had to make an exception here so that others dont get fooled by the franchise name and have the negative experience that I had with them.

Yet my single son with a mortgage and student loan ( basic stuff) was charged $320 which is ridiculous! Went back to ask for itemized receipt ( which was not given before) was charged like $45 page!
