My rating for Planet Fitness is 4.6 Stars. It rounds off to five stars. The PROS outweigh the CONS for Planet Fitness. Overall, I am happy and very satisfied with Planet Fitness. This review is lengthy. If you want a very detailed review, this is the review to read.The Planet Fitness deal of $79 for a year membership (not including tax) was one of the main reasons I picked Planet Fitness (PRO).Becky, the club manager, gave me a tour of Planet Fitness and answered a lot of my questions. She was very helpful and professional.Thoughts:Taking a tour is a must especially if you have never been to a Planet Fitness.Multiple sanitizing and machine cleaning stations all over the gym. I really loved this part of Planet Fitness. (PRO)Many lockers to lock up keys and valuables.Downloading the Planet Fitness app is essential and has a lot of useful information. You use the bar code on it to check in the gym.Do take a picture of the bar code just in case. You can use the picture of your bar code on the app to check in. Good for emergencies.My suggestion is to successfully get a login in the app and to ask staff how to learn how to use it in person when you get membership on Day 1. I ran into some obstacles with the app and straightened out the quirks on the first day I got my membership.You can document your progress and activity at Planet Fitness app.Some of the attached weight machines track the reps and time you put into the machine. Some even have bar codes you can scan to see videos on how to use the machine in proper form.Discounts on different things and places are provided to members on the app.Black Card Membership. I was not informed about it very well when I signed up. I was just told I couldnt use the massage machines if I didnt get Black Card Membership. Looking back I wish I had researched membership options more. Black Card offers a lot of perks. Too many to mention in this review. Becky, the club manager, went over Black Card membership in great detail. She was very thorough.One thing in PF caught my attention, and this description of it describes it best:***Total Body Enhancement is a treatment available only for premium Black card members of the famous worldwide gym franchise Planet Fitness. It is a process that claims to give a myriad of health benefits, including the reversing of aging effects, increasing wound healing, and relieving carpal tunnel syndrome.CONS about Planet Fitness:I wish I was able to sample and could pay to use the hydro massage and Total Body Enhancement once. If you really want to sell the Black Card Membership, you should allow customers to pay for a sample and learn more about what they are getting with a black card Membership. I was told I could pay a yearly fee of $310 to use the massage machines if I didnt want to pay for black card membership when I first signed up. This was my #2 CON with Planet Fitness.The tour in Planet Fitness helped a lot (PRO). At the same time, I felt like I had to request it and put some effort in getting information by asking a lot of questions. I would have been totally clueless in knowing what was provided in Planet Fitness. The app and the information online are good sources but they dont give you a very fulfilling experience about Planet Fitness. I was NEVER offered or suggested to do a tour. I think this is a vital need especially for new members with no true knowledge and no experience with Planet Fitness. This was my #1 CON with Planet Fitness. Every gym membership I received in the past provided and suggested a tour to me. Some offered a free day or week in the gym to see if I wanted membership. I wasnt offered that in Planet Fitness, but that part doesnt faze me much. I was told I could get a guest a free one day pass online to join me , yet I wasnt offered that when I asked about membership.

I typically go to the Madison street location but after coming to the fort Campbell location I will definitely be back

Well for starters. When i walked in to planet fitness. There was a staff member she a black female. She was laughing and judging me. And i thought planet fitness was a non judgemental place to go. But instead when ever i go or get done and im on the phone with my spouse and my mom she stares at me and eaves drop onto my conversation. She doesnt do her job. She stands at the desk flirting with the customers. The bathrooms in the ladies room are so bad that theres black mold growing. I thought that planet fitness was a great gym but recently all the employees are not doing what they need to do. I dont want to be laughed at when i go to a gym because i just got off from work. Please fix it

Walked into this location pretty late at night, the employee told me to scan myself in I said I just signed up online I dont have a tag yet she threw her mop on the floor and grunted because she had to help me. I was driving to the Madison location so I could keep a late night membership. That location hands down had nicer employees it was just so far out of the way. I quit and went to a different 24 hour gym. I will add the employee who actually canceled my membership had great customer service, but at that point I was just over it.

Worth every penny

I was reported by 2 females for allegedly taking photos of them working out. I was simply just trying to find a new song to listen to. The managers, without any type of investigation or review of the security cameras comes to me and tells me Im gonna be band from the establishment, they did not want to hear what I had to say or my explanation, I have never been so embarrassed in my life. Be careful being on your phones in here, all it takes is someone to say something and you will get automatically punished for doing absolutely nothing. Crunch fitness across the street is a much better option.

It is a clean nice place. The staff very friendly and helpful I recommend it to anyone needing stress relief or workout

Takes a while to like and get used to, but its a great place to workout. Crunch fitness was really intimidating whereas Planet fitness wasnt and i like all the equipment they offer although more bench press or deadlift areas would be great too. Would definitely recommend. Its clean, the employees are great, and its a comfortable environment.

I feel as long as people are cleaning the machines, me sanitizing my hands in between, I can get a good workout. The black card is the way to go. Give them my name, tell them I recommend you. You do the same for others, we all win. Free month!! The Hydromassage and massage chairs are awesome after a workout. Helps me sleep.

One of the best if not the best Planet Fitness ive ever been too.

I enjoy being able to come any time of the day however I do have concerns about patrons not wearing mask when entering the facility or walking around. Ive witnessed patrons removing the physical distancing signs off machines and not wiping them down after working out. There is a pandemic still. PF is a great place to workout, however more morning staff is needed to ensure the rules that are in place are being followed.

When costumer says cancel my membership you cancel the membership. Not freeze it. Bad costumer service and got charge for it and corporate close. Account was close since july 2020 and my fiance notice the charge today and store was no help and no manager during the weekend. GO TO CRUNCH FITNESS BETTER COSTUMER SERVICE

I’ve tried to call multiple times and I have also emailed this location with no success of getting ahold of anyone. I’ve called different times in a day thinking it was just being busy was the reason of not answering but I even called during low peak time and still no one answers the phone. I need assistance with my account and definitely would like a call back. If I could just walk in to speak to someone I would but I no longer live in Clarksville so that’s one of the main reasons why I am calling and not physically able to come in.

Okay gym. Needs to develop in its equipment. Seems to be cookie cutter equipment and not enough free weights/variations for my taste. The Hydrobeds are nice but some of the equipment seems to be broke for a extended amount of time.

Ive called multiple times every day this week and no one ever answers the phone. I live in California so going in is not an option. They made an error on my account and said they fixed it but, surprise surprise, they didnt. Now I cant transfer home gyms. The Planet Fitness in my area even tried to call them. For a business thats open 24 hours, youd think theyd at least answer their phones once!

The gym was ok up until I switched gyms to a newer and better gym came to my town. It has been almost IMPOSSIBLE to cancel my account and my account continues to be charged and they tell me they can’t cancel my account due to a past due balance. I haven’t been to a planet fitness gym in months and they continue to charge me. 0/10 DONT RECOMMEND. Got to crunch fitness for a good gym

Clean and new equipment. People there are very friendly and helpful. They are constantly cleaning everything.

Kicked me husband out for no reason and accused him of taking pictures of women when he was looking for a new song to listen to on his phone. When he called cooperate and reported them, they ignored him and brushed me off to the side. Very unprofessional.

Very friendly staff. Equipment is always well maintained. I love the crowd meter to predict light times.

Planet fitness was my favorite gym but after the new renovations I am not feeling this gym anymore. On the new treadmills the hand rails are low it feels like Im straining my back. The new equipment is for people who are athletically advanced. On the new ab machine I couldnt lift my own weight to do a crunch. The new weights are not as heavy as the old ones on certain machines. Everything is new and advanced but the quality is horrendous. On the elliptical machines the side bars are not that wide so if your a pretty heavy person you wouldnt fit between the rails. I honestly think this was a bad buisness move. I will be looking for a new gym. Maybe the one across the street.

Great gym if all your trying to do is light work outs or cardio, this is not a place for powerlifters, if you pick up too much weight they will set off an alarm

The PF on Ft Campbell Blvd is always clean. Its huge so u dont feel cramped. The people who work there are very nice and helpful if u need anything at all!

Felicia was wonderful help. I loved talking to her. I would recommend her service to everyone. She had a wonderful attitude for it being so late in the night 😅

Super clean! Plenty of equipment, i have never waited for one to date. Tan & massage (numerous of each) is a huge bonus! With the Black Card Membership, just 20 bucks a month, and i can go to ANY Planet Fitness in the country. 👍

Planet Fitness is an excellent gym and I definitely recommend it if you know you want to go to the gym and dont need any additional motivation; however, if youre looking to get fit and have never been inclined to exercise before, then you might want to consider finding a local gym that offers more individualized classes, because I have found that theres no real motivating factor at Planet Fitness. My family has had several memberships, and each one of them has been cancelled simply because whoever had it lost the motivation to go. If you want a fun environment where youll be motivated to get fit, find a group class instead, where youre more likely to accomplish your goals.

Ive been a member here for about 3 weeks and so far Ive enjoyed it. There is lots of workout equipment, and the employees are helpful. I feel comfortable going here. The personal trainer can only meet with you on 2 days a week, one day at 7pm and 7am on the other day. There should be more times, like mid afternoon or something. The tanning beds are clean and work well. I still have more to discover

When I say this place is somewhere I never thought Id be, I mean it. Ive been to other gyms, and there is always so much drama, half naked women, and gossip beyond measure. Here, I feel that there is a chance for everyone to pop in and feel progress.In the past week, Ive noticed some things that definitely cause concern, but Im really hoping PF management stands behind their guidelines and promises.

I went to planet fitness today to cancel my membership because I havent been in months and the worker and manager told me in order to cancel it I have to pay $162. Im not very happy about it.

It SUCKS !!Can no longer use the locker rooms , they charge 3 times the amount for tanning lotions , never get,the amount wanted for tanning usually 2 minutes,short. , also you have to go to their app to sign in.

This place is amazing! You can chill and exercise at your own pace or get a trainer! The people are courteous and dont judge anyone! Thats great for people like me who are self conscious and feel like everyone is staring at them! Great job to these people and 5 stars for being amazing!

Good placebto knock out your fitness needs. Well worth it if you take advantage of their specials when they offer them. They also have no commitment options. Go work out!

If you go over due on you account they wont let you cancel it before it goes too far if you cant afford to pay it and they will keep charging you but you cant use the gym and its messed up Im not paying for something I havent been using nor can I.

A lot of the gyms equipment is either broken or doesnt function properly. When theyre busy be prepared to wait for equipment to free up. The staff is terrible at managing people checking in or signing up for the hydromassage. Ive waited 15 minutes before someone even acknowledged me. Overall, not the worst gym, but it still has plenty of room for improvement.

It was great, I was a little scared at first, but they were very welcoming.

I’ve talked to Justin (Manager) over the phone yesterday morning & he was very helpful!!! I’ve told him that I’ve paid an overdue balance & had trouble transferring my inactive membership. He told me to go to the Planet Fitness location near me & to just sign up for a gym membership. As a result I was given my new membership!!

Pretty dope gym. Most of the times that I like to workout are less busy times, which is great. I like to go at 6am or noon and both are pretty low key. Their tanning beds are the best in town. Staff are very helpful and friendly as well. I do wish they had a few more ab machines, a few more free weights in the 10, 15, 20 lbs range, and a pool. I would literally never leave this place. 😎

Ive been going to Planet Fitness since they first open with some members of my family. And Ive enjoyed the experience thus far. The only thing that I think should be changed is the noise policy. because sometimes when lifting heavy weights its completely fine to make some noise, but other times some members of the staff get upset with you so theres an inconsistency of whats right and wrong.

First impressions are really important and the lady who helped me totally left me feeling like I don’t even want to go back. I went in to sign up for the 7 day free pass and was hoping maybe ask some questions, but seeing as how the employee was so unwelcoming, I didn’t even bother. From the moment I walked to her station she seemed in a rush, irritated, and unwelcoming. Not one smile, not talkative or informative. Had no interest in giving me any details about the gym or what comes with the pass...good thing I had already read the info on the site. If it wasn’t for that, I’d have no clue. All she did was ask for my info- again unwelcoming - and just really seemed to want to be done. I believe great customer service is so vital to a good first impression - but doesn’t end there. I mean, I would feel uncomfortable to ask her any questions if I needed help with anything. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch a name of the employee, and I can’t even remember if there was a name tag. At this point, I’m not too sure if I’ll take advantage of the 7 days, but will see.

Just as it says on the TV ads, no judgement. No one bothers you while you work out. Its clean and there is a trainer should you need one.

I go here when I have no other choice only.This gym is catered to people who get their feelings hurt to easily. Not a single actual barbell at all, only bad quality smith machines. Dumbells only go up to 70lbs.All the other equipment is nice, but you get what youd expect from $10 a month.

Weight lifting section is small compared to the space that the gym has. Good cardio equipment, 4 or 5 rows of machines. Bathrooms are always clean. Staff are always cool. Only gripe is how far the gym is.

Its a good place that is open for 24 hours alot of cardio equipment massage chairs and beds but if ur looking for a place that has alot of free weights this is not one of them

Best Gym in town!! Enough equipment so you never have to wait on a treadmill or your favorite machine. The staff is friendly for the most part except for a short white guy that works mornings he asks to see my gym Id every morning and looks me up in the system before I can tan or use the massage chairs and while I am waiting for the massage chairs I never see him ask any other woman for their ID. I try not too thinks it is because Im Hispanic but I cant think of any other reason....

Dont expect any attention at front desk during a new application and 2 staffers are cleaning. People dont wipe down machines after using them. Need more massage equipment and ability to check out equipment yourself.

I like this Planet Fitness location because trucks are permitted in the parking lot. As a Black Card Member I will truly like that all Planet Fitness location allows Truckers to have access to their location, at least for couple hours. I been kicked out from others location several times,even though I explain the security guard that all I need is just couple hours.

Im really disappointed, Ive been trying to call planet fitness for over twenty minutes. No staff is answering and Im trying to get a hold of someone over a billing charge I am confused about and I cant even find out or understand about it until I go in because I cant get a staff member to even answer!

I used to be the person who judged you for going to PF but honestly its not that bad. They only have Smith machines which is a set back but you can make things work. They have every machine imaginable, which helps compensate for the lack of free weights. Dumbbells go up to 75lbs, and their treadmills are top notch. As long as youre putting in work, PF will do the job. You cant beat the price, its worth it for the tanning package alone. The total body enhancement is pretty nice and the staff is always friendly, and gym is always clean.

Ive been working out at this gym for almost 2-3 years now and I absolutely love it! The customer service is great and the staff is always helpful. I went to a Planet Fitness in Nashville once and wasnt impressed, all of the cardio equipment were too close together and the weight equipment seemed really outdated. Overall this is a great place to workout with no distractions of people slamming weights, screaming when lifting or stuff like that. I like how diverse the crowd is.

My wife and I have been to this location multiple times so far. The facilities are typically clean, and the clientele has neither added to or subtracted from the experience. The employees have been decent, though some of them dont have much of an issue expressing their disinterest in the customer.Overall, Id recommend this location to a friend.

My favorite PF in Tennessee!!! Trucker friendly, huge parking lot, real friendly beautiful young lady (night shift), clean and hot showers, good equipment, plenty of food within, Walmart, Dirt Cheap and Dollar Tree walking distance. Definitely will be back. Thank you 😁😁

Great and clean place. Friendly staff. They should allow members to pay each month and not force them to pay an annual membership. that would contribute to more people could benefit from this place and improve both their health and appearance.

I love this place! Its always clean, never too many people except during noon and after work hours (6-7pm) they are busier then usual but thats normal for any gym. Overall, the equipment is always in great shape, machines always work, and staff are nice.

I joined planet fitness a week ago and so far have been very impressed. The manager gave me a tour of the facility and he was polite, friendly, and not at all pushy. What impressed me the most is the price of membership which is very reasonable. The facility is awesome. I like to go from machine to machine to keep the variety up and I have found they have so many that I could be there for two hours and not get to all of them. I also like the no intimidation policy, I like that it is an inclusive gym and you are just as likely to see someone in really great shape, and someone like me who has a long way to go. But everyones friendly and nice to each other. I also like their abdominal area and their circuit area. It really allows you to design a customized program that fits my needs. I also like the showers, really nice how they have two nozzles, one on the side and one overhead, wished I had this set up in my shower at home. I havent even tried their tanning and massage chairs yet, but I am sure their awesome, and what a great deal to have them included in your membership.

Been here a couple times to workout while traveling. Their elliptical machines are a little bit older but are still reliable and good working order. The staff, as usual with Planet Fitness, was extremely friendly and helpful. All of their equipment seem to be in good working order and they had plenty to accommodate the decent crowd.

I love the place they just need to hire more people at night one person cant do everything I was trying to try some stuff and most of the time you can not find anyone just saying like wanted to get in the massage chair and other things with the black card and the lady is super busy so maybe they need to work on that just saying
