Wanted to find a place to workout while on vacation. This is one of the nicest gyms Ive been to. They have a great variety of equipment, and the staff is professional and polite. The gym is also very clean.

Great owner, willing to work with you even when your cancelling your account. I had to cancel because I relocated but if it wasn’t for that I’d still be going to this gym. The gym is clean, well kept and has great equipment. I would highly recommend.P.S I called while my temper was high due to a call from their collection company about the account, when I thought we had settled the account and the owner did not respond in a rude way. In fact, he was calm and even worked with me tosolve the problem. I really appreciate the way he handled it.

An awesome gym with all the equipment you could possibly need to get swole. Would still be going here if I hadnt moved away from the area.

David (owner) is the best! My feet kept slipping on the deadlift platform (it’s wooden and I pull sumo in socks), so I asked David if they had a mat I could lay down to keep from slipping. He went out back and cut a piece of their extra gym flooring to the perfect size just for me to use, cleaned it off, and let me store it inside to use any time I need it. Getting to know the owners and this kind of member service are things you won’t get at a commercial gym, and makes any difference in price more than worth it. Highly recommend!

The David and Kate (owners of Battleground) are the most welcoming people! They are always open to answer questions and help you with anything you need. It’s so nice to be able to work out in such a friendly environment. They are always caring for the facility, keeping it clean and making sure everything is put back in its place. I am so thankful to be part of this gym!

Best gym in Clarksville. The gym accommodates to everything! Friendly and family oriented staff! I feel like I’ve known the owners my whole life and I just bet them a year ago! Additionally, 24/7 access is in point!

The gym is open and very very rarely ever have to wait for any equipment. Everything is clean and picked up. The equipment isnt broken. And the environment is one of the best in the local area... Price is a bit high for the month to month... But after looking at the gyms in the area and what this gym offers... Not a bad price. Free wifi and good clean equipment. Defintely recommend. Not sure what everyone giving 1 star for... But... After reading their comments... Havent had any of the issues and this gym is 24/7 so i can go when ever I get the chance. Great place!

I absolutely love Battle Ground. Not only is it always Incredibly clean, but the owners and other members in general make going there pleasant and motivating. If you’re looking for a gym to join, you owe it to yourself to check out Battle Ground. You will look forward to going to the gym, it just has a great atmosphere and you will most likely make friends.

Let me start off by saying that every time I leave out of town, I miss battle ground fitness!! The staff is so helpful and the owners are amazing! The equipment and supplements they have are top notch quality, they have a lot of machines that are advanced and other gyms don’t have. My husband and I love Battle Ground Fitness!

We truly love this gym! They have everything we need and they are so friendly. I’ve never felt like I wasn’t welcome here and it’s so nice to finally feel like you belong somewhere. If you’re looking for a new gym to call home, Battle Ground is seriously amazing.

I enjoy being a member at Battleground. The gym is always clean, great equipment selection, and gym members always seem to be respectful of each other. The staff have great customer service and the owners truly are passionate about each person reaching their goals and living a healthy lifestyle.

My experience at this gym has been great. The owners are very friendly and very accommodating. I do not see them being anything close to what the negative reviews are saying they are. The gym is very clean. The staff is super friendly and the 24 hour access is amazing. I hope the ones who are having a bad experience with the gym would stop attacking the owners about their faith and what the Christian thing to do is.

Love having a faith based gym in our community! Also love that it is 24 hours so that for those who dont have the time during prime hours can go in and still get the workout they want done. First off never have I ever written a single review about any establishment, shows I am not a hard person to please. Also, it shows how disrespected my significant other and I have been treated by the owner and its Employees. Second, this gym is far from a “faith based” gym. The owner David Champlin has treated me and my fiance with complete disrespect from the first moment we walked in the gym. My fiance has already given this place a 1* review, then the next morning after writing the review he approached us in regards to that review. Immediately after, he starts to belittle us behind our backs throughout the workout to his employees and other MEMBERS especially. The disrespect and belittlement continues on for months while we are both working out there at the same exact time. When approached about the situation, he played it off as if nothing was wrong, but continued to go behind our backs to his members and employees continuing to disrespect us behind our backs. An incredibly hypocritical move on his part and I’m sure he does this with other members too.The fact that the owner is so frustrated about the past review that he continued to show us disrespect because we simply expressed our opinions about how you run your facility; Really shows a lot about how hurt your business is doing. This is the real World, people are going to have opinions and you need to suck it up. An employee of his this morning got incredibly fed up with us, for no apparent reason whatsoever, looking like he was trying to threaten us in a physical manner.I recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to be ridiculed behind their backs, this is the place to go!

Really cool gym, however $15 for a day pass in Clarksville, TN is a bit ridiculous.

Amazing gym, actually one of the best gyms I have visited. I was visiting family in Clarksville for a few days and needed a place to workout. I went by there and Dillion set me up for the week pass. The gym has top of the line equipment and everything is extremely organized. I highly recommend, Thanks Dillion for your help.

Joined this gym about 4 months ago. I go regularly and I enjoy this gym over other local gyms for the attitude of the employees, the quality of the equipment, and the fact that they CLEAN the equipment on a REGULAR basis! Gym actually smells very nice, and not like a gym. lol

Previous worker for over 2 years. Life has kinda happened and my girlfriend and I are no longer using the membership because of time and it’s just not the best move for us as far as budgeting goes. “Can’t break contract” is what I was told. I understand as a business having a cancellation policy but beware, unless you undergo reconstructive surgery or move over 30 miles away, you will not be able to cancel your membership. Very disheartening. Will not be back.

The first thing I noticed when I arrived was the smell. It didnt smell like rubber and sweat like most other gyms in town. The staff was friendly and greeted us at the door. They explained the 24/7 availability with the fob which was a perk being I have a crazy schedule. Membership fees werent outrageous, and the equipment was clean and well kept. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a great place to lift weights and not have to feel uncomfortable doing so. Great environment!

Contacted on Monday to cancel my month to month membership. Employee stated owner would email me the cancellation form. Its now Friday and I havent received an email or Facebook message. I contacted Battle Ground Fitness on Facebook Messenger, email, and phone. I emailed and messaged my email address to ensure I would get the form.I expected this from big franchise gyms but not a locally owned gym.

There was no trouble at all signing up for this gym. However, when I moved, it was like pulling teeth to get released from the contract. Plus, $75 fee for cancelling membership is ridiculous. The CHRISTIAN thing to do is not charge in special circumstances...hey but I guess greed is hard to resist.

Usally I am not writing comments on Google, but I want to share my experince with you what happened. For me it was the last time to be in that Gym.The owner is unfriendly and calling my Hey Boy and the best thing was with my contract.I talked 2 days before how long my contract is working, he told me: 2 days. After 2 days when I went there the chip did not work!I payed 50$ for three weeks and the cut of one day of my contract.

Great place. Very convenient location, most of the equipment that you would ever want, 24 hours, and connected with the Nutrishop next door for supplements and monitoring your BMI. Owners are extremely kind and helpful. Definitely recommend it.

Im sorry, but 95% of this gym is weight stuff. They have no bikes and not enough cardio machines. I have definitely seen better gyms!

This place is somewhat ridiculous. Rules are told to you after they lock you in a contract. No chalk allowed, first gym with this rule is pretty ridiculous. Gyms should know, most people that Are serious are going to use chalk to benefit their workout. Not hard to clean it up when spilt. Also, staff that walks and puts your weights away in the middle of a set is just rude. Most people know what a superset is and can figure when they are not done.

24/7 access with the security of members only access, coupled with great equipment and staff to make a great place to work out.

Great gym ! Quality gear, and best part for me is being able to do the big lifts; squats, deadlifts, Olympic lifts on real lifting platforms 24/7, 365 access is the best also!
