Very unhappy Not only are they over Priced But they dont explain How to use the equipment and when you have a question about it their technicians Give you the run around. The battery on The lyft I rented died Halfway through the job and at The end of the job I couldnt get the outriggers up And got the rental back late And got charge 2 days for being late And because they said its user error even though I called their technician 3 times and he could not offer me any help. I rent equipment here often for my job but if I can help it I wont

Had a delivery to here with some equipment from another location. Always gets us in and out fast and trouble free. Love hauling for these guys. Look forward to doing business again soon.

I needed a trencher so I checked a couple of places. Tim and Sunbelt was the last call. Too many of these places act like they dont actually want you to rent something if you arent getting it for commercial purposes. I felt like they actually want my business there.

They are pretty pricey, you can find better deals elsewhere. All in all the staff is excellent though.

I made a reservation on a Tuesday for Friday since they mention I could keep it for the weekend without paying extra. When I got there to pick it up, they pretty much told me it was for Tuesday (the day I’d called) and that I missed it. They could be said , sorry , we’ll get you one as soon as we get one tiller back, but instead they didn’t even offer anything. So I’m not going back there.

A friend of mine rented a skid steer and was told for weekend they never told him that he only had so many hours on it. When they picked it up 3 days after he was done with it they charged him for the hours he put on it. For a weekend they only allow 10 hrs of run time that they did not mention. When you rent something so expensive you expect to use it not the charge you to store it in your yard. They should specify how many hours you get on it. Bad service.

I called Sunbelt of Clarksville on Monday morning to get a quote for a tracked skid steer with the grading bucket and an additional toothed bucket. After some shopping, I called back to reserve the equipment for the coming weekend. I called again on Thursday to be sure everything was like i wanted, only to find out the toothed bucket was not added to my rental and was then unavailable to me. I used the machinery over the weekend, cleaned, refueled and parked the equipment for pickup. Sunbelt did not come and get the equipment until Wednesday. Then called on Thursday to say I had went over the alloted hours (8 hours but they would give me a grace of up to 10) and I was being charged an extra day. Neither the salesman, the operator, or the delivery driver ever mentioned this. So I was stuck paying the extra day rental. Even though I was never told this information or did I ever sign a contract. I have a large ongoing project that will need several pieces of equipment over time to complete but I will not be going through Sunbelt of Clarksville for any more of it not even a shovel. I ended up paying more for going over on the hours than what the receipt showed for a weeks rental.

Sunbelt is usually a good dependable place to rent equipment. The service folks generally know about the product they are renting you. But this was not my experience this trip. I rented a 2 man post hole digger. The lady who rented it to me was knowledgeable with the rental process, but did not know how to start or run the machine. And yes, there is a specific way to start and operate it. The machine itself would not dig well in Tennessee soil. Never got over 16 deep trying 4 different locations on my farm. This was a waste of money.When I returned the machine a service tech told me these dont dig well in TN soil. Maybe they should tell you that BEFORE you spend +$100+.

I’m not going to lie I was expecting to come out of sunbelt this morning more defeated than I already was from my hardwood floor project. But sunbelt did me right. After a horrible weekend I can salvage what left of this week I have of moral. Great customer service. Great prices. Overall awesome experience.

Took way too long to rent floor scraping machine. Sold wrong blade which did not allow tool to work properly.Polite staff.

Helpful staff but dont carry quite the selection of equipment as the other rental companies at least if they do a lot of the time its rented out.

DO NOT rent from these people. They make up their own prices even after what was discussed before rental. They brought the wrong equipment out to our site, they blame their mistakes on other stores. And they never answer the phone. Lisa and Mark should go work at Walmart. We rent from sunbelts across the US and this by far has been my worst experience!

They tell you one price, apparently make a mistake and tell you another price and charge your card more. Never again will I do business with these people. Rude and unprofessional. I would never run our business like this.
